2. How quickly did you finish reading the comic? i dont remember... i think a few months??? i first watched all of the voice nexus videos (back when they were still collabHQ) and they were around mindfang's journal at the time, then i read the rest on my own. i think it was probably like. 3 months or so? maybe 4?? i know that i missed a new years countdown because i was busy reading homestuck LMAO.. but the fastest i've ever read it all the way through is 7 days.

idk if tl talks are still open but uhh quick memory dump [same anon as the jane crocker and muelin pyrope [terezi ways] kin anon].

Memories from the Meulin Pyrope tl:

Kurla Makara had a less voluminous hair cut and her hair was shoulder lenght and more spiky than curly [like her sprite for example]. She also had purple gloves and her horns were spikier. i dont rember how she looked like outside of openbuond sprites lol. Also i think we were kismesis instead of moirails but im not 100% sure. About that , i looked like canon meulin but i had terezi's horns and top part of the hair looked more like terezi's [the rest was the same] and I still had the leo symbol [on a teal sweater tho , but thats pretty obious] but it was in white instead of white.

From the Jane Crocker tl:

I had a long skirt like jade's , i had a top lip in my sprite [still had my front teeth out like a true prospiter] and my hair had like??? curves/spikes at the end [and it was longer]. Think of like roxy lalonde but more curved. Jake had a tanktop [like dirks , for example] , his pants looked a bit more like john's and he had his gun holster on. Dirk was the exact same as canon , and I dont rember Roxy.

fav troll is such a hard question... obviously i love vriska, i'm her, but i feel like that's kind of cheating ::::P for the same reason i'm not counting terezi, that's my girlfriend of course i like her

but i am actually a huge eridan and feferi liker! recently a fanart i made of them for a zine apparently got shared around? i'm happy it did, this thing took me like... 7 hours straight with no pauses because i did it as part of a jam... but yeah they're the trolls i draw the most apart from vriska and terezi, so i guess that means they're my non-kin-related faves!

i can't exactly explain why i love eridan, because if i'm honest my attachment to him mostly stems from having terrible taste in men as a teen. at the time if you gave me a terrible sadboy i was automatically like "yes yes this one will be my favorite forever", and ARGUABLY that's still the case. i kinda fell out of love with him over time, but his GENIUS pesterquest route really did something to my brain and since then he's one of my faves again.

feferi is a case of, i used to like her by proxy of liking eridan? but i now honestly just love her as her own character. she's just so fun and she loves her friends and she's kinda shitty sometimes but in a fun way only a teen girl can truly be? big fan of a girl with a direct hotline to the horrors that lurk beneath.

For Want of a Nail, the Kin was Lost

Exactly two weeks ago, the world had entered the Darkest Timeline. Andrew Hussie, creator of Homestuck, had died from a heart attack at the ripe old age of sixty nine, and, as he had passed to the underworld, his creations had passed from the underworld to Earth. The constellations glittering in the sky, once beacons of hope, had loosened their chains and come down in order to destroy the world. The twelve trolls of Homestuck were alive, and they wanted humanity dead.

Story continued under the cut (cw: violence, death, gore)

Using their god-like powers, they first targeted power plants and the homes of world leaders. Then they came for the fans. They recruited readers of Homestuck in order to help them destroy Earth. Every one of them had agreed and had immediately sworn their loyalty.

Along with their rampages came another change. Everyone, overnight, had had their appearance changed to match that of their assigned zodiac kin. Deku, as far as he could tell, was a Vriska. He was pretty sure that his zodiac sign was Cancer, but maybe his birthday was on an edge day.

Deku had spent the first week hiding in his basement reading the entirety of Homestuck. His house had then been burned down by a rampant Sollux. Most of the city had been, actually. The only safe spots now were shelters with closely guarded locations.

He had spent the past few days wandering through the ravaged streets, searching for the location to a safehouse. The heat of the day beat down heavy against his cloak, but he dare not take it off in fear of burning his gray skin. According to a nearby spray-painted billboard, a brave Tavros had set up shop inside the EBGames he was standing in front of.

The surface was mostly bare during the day, but Deku was still cautious. He did a quick search of the surrounding parking lot before entering the lobby.

The doorbell chimed as he wiggled his way in. Deku pulled down his hood and waved at the Tavros.

"What are you in for today?" The Tavros wasn’t in character. Phew. Only those who had had quirks beforehand spoke with their typing quirk.

"Some food and a safe house, ideally." Deku turned and scanned the shelf that had used to house Nintendo games. It had a couple copies of the physical editions of Homestuck, along with a few handbooks for ‘your new troll body and you’. Deku sighed at the sight of them.

He heard a few thumps and some swearing, and turned around to find the Tavros bumping his wide horns against the door-frame of the back room. Ouch. Deku feigned interest in the handbooks to help the guy’s self esteem.

Along with the appearance and typing quirk of your assigned kin, you also gained their powers. Deku had been ecstatic at the news, but then, as always, inevitably disappointed, as it turned out that it only replaced your old quirk instead of fitting you with a new one. He was still powerless in a society filled with superheroes. Er, trolls. Quirk-having trolls were indistinguishable from the originals in every way other than their height, lack of limited immortality, attitude, and blood. Thankfully, everyone had kept their blood.

Tavros, having managed to not hit his horns this time, came back into the room carrying a couple loaves of bread and a map. "That'll be seventy dollars."

Shit. He didn't have any money. He didn't have any powers, either. The only thing Deku had, aside from his pure charisma and perceptiveness, was a bunch of weird paper that he had stolen while committing tax fraud. Wait. That's money. Deku paid quietly for the goods and then sat on the floor and took a bite of his spoils. Judging from the map, the safe house was three or four blocks away and pretty well guarded.

By the time he was finished memorizing the route, he had hungrily wolfed down an entire loaf of Wonder bread without noticing. Grabbing the remaining two loaves, he rolled up the map, pulled his faded orange hood back up, and left.

The constant surveillance of his surroundings turned a five minute walk into twenty, but it paid dividends. The original route shown on the map was crawling with Eridans looking for someone to take out their anger out on.

Happy with his avoidance of a close call, Deku examined his surroundings. The outside of the base was relatively hidden. It resembled a normal, beaten-up subway entrance. However, the bottom of the stairway was blocked off with metal and presumably, bullet proof glass with an open hole a the bottom, like at the movie theatres, or maybe a dentist. What were dentists hiding from? He would need to think about this immediately. He had time: there was a sign about someone being "OUT FOR LUNCH."

Just then, his phone went off. Labelled as the caller: "(Vriska)." Not one for dramatic pauses, Deku answered immediately.

The voice sounded female. It was hard to tell, because all they were saying was ‘doot’ over and over to the tune of some song that Deku didn't know. The audio quality was pretty bad too, like if someone made a SBAHJ podcast and then made it shittier. He hung up.

It was another ten minutes before someone came out. The Terezi had her hair cut short, and her left horn was chipped. She sat down in a chair in the booth and waved.

"N4M3??" Like eighty percent of the population, she had a quirk.

"Previously Izuku Midoriya. Currently assigned Vriska. Forgive me if I don't remove the hood."

"USU4LLY W3 CH3CK TH3 BLOOD OF SOM3ON3 B3FOR3 L3TT1NG TH3M 1N TO S33 TH3 BOSS BUT 1N YOUR C4S3 1T SHOULDNT M4TT3R."

Deku found that unsettling, but free room and board is free room and board, so he didn't question it. Terezi leaned back in her chair and slapped a button on the wall. The window between them swung open and Deku jumped back to avoid it.

“COM3 ON 1N.” Terezi moved her chair over to the side, and Deku saw that the interior was much larger than he had thought. It was a little bigger than a supply closet, and had pictures of various Homestuck characters plastered along the walls.

The space felt personal, so Deku didn’t lag behind when Terezi left down a hallway to the side.

After a short walk, the hallway opened up into an abandoned underground parking garage. The sturdy concrete walls were covered in graffiti, and most of the cars had doors busted open. Trolls from most of the hemospectrum were lazing around, talking and sleeping. All of them except for Cerulean bloods.

Maybe he should get to know the person—troll—currently leading him away from any witnesses.

Start simple. “Are Terezi’s powers any fun to use? I never had a quirk, so I’ll never get to experiment with mind-”

“1 DONT H4V3 4 QU1RK.”

“You don’t? Then why the typing quirk?” He would never have thought he would be having this kind of conversation.

“1 US3D TO K1N T3R3Z1. 1M V3RY S3NS1T1V3 4BOUT 1T.”

“I understand.” Deku did not understand, but he did not doubt for a moment that the 5’1” Terezi beside him could kill him instantly, even without a quirk.

Looping around cars, Terezi led him into another hallway, barking at some of the other trolls to keep it down during sleeping hours. They passed a few kitchens and supply closets, until winding up at an oak door.

"PL34S3 CLOS3 TH3 DOOR B3FOR3 YOU ST4RT BL33DING."

Deku hoped that she was joking. He took a breath in and opened the door.

An older-looking troll with long, tangled black hair sat in front of him. She wore a faded yellow robe with a sun poorly embroidered on it. Her tired face glowed a soft blue, and it scrunched up in seething hatred once all eight of her eyes saw who—what—he was.

Vriska shot her hand out towards him. Dice spilled out, zapping in the air and glowing brightly. "No dou8les!!!!!!!!!"

Deku pulled his hood on and ducked, narrowly avoiding certain death. "Wait!” Reminded of his conversation from earlier, he decided to lie. “I'm not a Vriska,” he said. "I'm a (Vriska). Completely different."

Vriska motioned for him to sit down. "Let's talk. And close the door 8ehind you."

It had been a few weeks since Deku had joined the underground group. He was sitting with the Terezi and Vriska he had met on the first day, conversing about possible long-term solutions to food shortages. It was difficult because they kept getting distracted and making out instead of getting work done.

“If we were to grow our own food above ground, we’d run the risk of being—er, 8eing tracked-” Deku cut himself off. A nearby Karkat had a knife in his hand. “Did you guys check everyone’s blood? I think that Karkat is about to kill someone.”

They stopped kissing and looked over to where Deku was pointing. Vriska reached into her bag and started rummaging through it. “First of all, not a dude. Second of all, o8viously I checked them all.”

Vriska pulled out a handful of dice and a tube of red chap-stick. Terezi gratefully took the chap-stick, biting into it like a Popsicle. They both stood up.

“WH4T 4R3 YOU DO1NG?” asked Terezi.

The Karkat smiled. “NOTHING.” He proceeded to walk over to a sleeping Sollux and pat him on the head.

“I have a new way to solve our food shortage. Reduce damand.” Vriska flung out her dice towards the red-tinged troll. They flashed and spun, until hitting the ground to reveal the damage count. Because of her luck, it was the maximum possible. Lightning shot out of the die and phased through the Karkat, killing him instantly.

Except, he wasn’t dead. He peeled himself off the pavement and dusted himself off.

Terezi turned towards Deku and Vriska. “OK4Y 1 TH1NK 1V3 FOUND TH3 PROBL3M. K4RK4T H4S MUT4NT BLOOD. TH4T 1S TO S4Y HUM4N BLOOD.”

Karkat nodded, as if to approve the theory. Apparently a blood test doesn't work if the one you're trying to find has freakishly normal human blood.

Vriska facepalmed. “This is so unfair. He never 8ecame a god in the alpha timeline!!!!!!!!”

The floor rumbled softly, and the roof started to crack and splinter. Beams of energy shot through the roof, and a large part of it collapsed. Hundreds of trolls streamed through the hole, carrying weaponry and a thirst for destruction. Homestucks. Did they not realize this conquest would result in the demise of humanity?

Initially filling the area with deafening shouting and pushing, they soon fell silent. A troll in a bright yellow robe floated above them, staring directly at the trio.

“It’s 8eneath me to ask nicely, 8ut please kill each other so that we don’t have to waste time.” She flipped her long black hair as if it were a simple request.

Deku, unsurprisingly, liked being alive. “What happens if we don’t?”

An enthusiastic Nepeta pulled out a gun and pointed it at him.

"Calm down. I'll deal with this 8ozo myself." Deku realized that floating above him was Her. The original Vriska.

He was doomed.

Vriska pulled out dice from her pocket and started playing with them in her hand. “I h8 doubles, 8ut I’ll give you one chance at redemption. Prove yourself a real fan and I’ll let you join my army.”

Deku considered his answer carefully. He didn’t have a lot of options. Better to go with something tried and true rather than lose at a Homestuck trivia contest. If it worked once, why not again? "I'm actually the original (Vriska). Don't kill me."

"It seems unlikely. Karkat, test her 8lood."

Okay yeah he was definitely doomed. Why did Vriska have to take basic safety precautions?

Karkat’s knife dripped with the yellow blood of a Sollux, and Deku cringed at the sight. Karkat came close to Deku, and took his arm in one hand. He carefully grazed the knife along Deku’s skin, letting the blood drip out for all to see.

Cerulean blood.

He was safe. But he was (Vriska)... And if he was (Vriska), then who was phone????????

Holy Shit a Canon Call??

I’m a Dave Lalonde (Roxy swap) kin hoping to find the rest of my canonmates, where the FUCK ARE Y’ALL

I’ve already found my Dirk Lal @dirkklalonde, Roxy Stri @turntechgnostalgic69, and John English (what the fuck is his blog).

A few things to note about our canon: 1. Our canon had only one timeline. You could ask Dirk about it because he knows better than I do, but there was some divine intervention going on keeping us from fucking up. 2. The trolls were swapped with the dancestors. Aradia Maryam wasn’t swapped with Kanaya, she was swapped with Porrim. 3. If you end up being my canonmate you will have to deal with me for the rest of your life, I don’t make the rules, you’ll be stuck with me.

All being said, here’s our swaps and a little something I remember (or I’ve been told from my canonmates) about each of them. Very cool of her. 2. Roxy Strider (Dave swap), Rogue of Time - Gamer girl, she became a professional streamer on Earth C. - LOUD and we love her for it <3 3. Dirk Lalonde (Rose swap), Prince of Light - Goth, a sickly little victorian child, incredibly emotionally constipated. Was quite abrasive to begin with but he got better <3 4. Jake Egbert, Page of Breath - Really tall, a generally really nice dude, maybe a little flirtatious at times but always seemed super kind. - Liked roughing it when camping, which I would have no idea about if not for Dirk (gayass).

Alpha Kids: 1. John English, Heir of Hope - NERD (affectionate), liked Star Wars then and likes Star Wars now, always a good friend and incredibly cheerful. 2. Rose Strider (Dirk swap), Seer of Heart - Snake <3, being the Seer of Heart she could see the paths of how everyone’s relationships would work out and she kept this mostly to herself but I guarantee she gossiped about it. - A disaster, she welded or something as a main hobby and her haircut was HORRIBLE considering she would only cut it when a piece inconvenienced her (ex. falls in front of her face). - Symbol was a snake (or snakes?) forming into a heart. 3. Dave Lalonde (me, Roxy swap), Knight of Void - Flamboyant, generally cheery exterior but I had a lot of social anxiety so </3 - Symbol is a cassette tape. 4. I do know she had very sharp claws 6. Kanaya Serket (True Scorpio), Sylph of Light - Still a fashionista but with a bit of a bitchier edge, very fun to hang around. - Sister-in-law <3 she and Rose got married on Earth C. 7. Terezi Leijon (Lelo), Seer of Heart - The definition of a gremlin, really liked art still. - She was deaf but regularly opted to take her hearing aids out so she didn’t have to listen to any of us. 8. Vriska Peixes (Pisci), Thief of Life - #girlboss, she was a little unhinged and pretty aggressive but you could tell she cared about the people that she held dear. Aradia’s matesprit and Eridan’s kismesis. 9. Equius Nitram (Taurun), Heir of Breath - None of us remember too much about him but we know he was a punk and was socially reserved. John’s the only one that truly remembers anything about him. 10. Gamzee Pyrope (True Libra), Bard of Mind - Wannabe skater boy, but he was unfortunately incredibly clumsy so it didn’t work out too well for him. Feferi’s moirail. - He was born (hatched?) blind and opted not to use a cane (I don’t even remember him having one), he preferred holding onto people to maneuver but provided nothing had been moved around he could navigate perfectly fine on his own. He tended to talk about fate and destiny as opposed to miracles. 11. Eridan Vantas (Cancen), Prince of Blood - Self-proclaimed leader of the trolls, very abrasive but he had a heart of gold on the inside. - Aradia’s moirail and Vriska’s kismesis. 12. Feferi Captor (True Gemini), Witch of Doom - True skater girl, always wore knee and elbow braces and padded gloves. Very cheery, had adorable pigtails. - Gamzee’s moirail and a very good one at that, she carried bandaids for him in case he got scraped up trying to attempt skateboarding again.

its tommy apologism thats the new vriska apologism, because they despise literally anyone who goes against him

mmm no, i think it closer to philza apologism, actually. tommy is, in the end, built to be sympathetic. he's the protagonist, more or less, and is not technically responsible for most of the grisly things that happened to him. he fucks up, something bad happens and then he's digging his own grave.

vriska was built as a morally dark gray character from the beginning. she was directed responsible for everything she did, and she accepted that. putting tavros in a wheelchair, blinding terezi, killing aradia. she meant to do them. they were not accidents.

phil was also meant to be morally grey. he joined, was good, then ran off with techno. it wasn't a surprise, it wasn't a Betrayal. every bad thing he did, he has done on purpose.

in my original post, i said dream apologists were like vriska apologists (i was biased because i kin wilbur and aradia) but that's not the point.

dream apologists defend him because... i'm actually not sure, but it's at least partially because they want him to rail them?

tommy apologists defend him because he is basically a kid who has been through serious shit, and is trying very hard to cope. he's the main character, and lore keeps wrapping around him, no matter how hard he tries to get away.

philza apologists defend him because of trauma, because he was pressured into murder, because he never really got a chance to heal, but he still does bad things on purpose.

First post!!!!!!!!

First of all, hiiiiiiii tumblr!~ You can call me Vris! I wanted to make this my first post, as you will all come to know I am a HUGE Vriska stan, as well as a fan of Eridan and Gamzee a little bit too. Mostly Vriska though ;;;;P Wanted to make a bit of a defense for my faves, before I get any shit from the avid h8ers out there. So here’s a spite filled paragraph to defend my babies <33333333 First of all, CLEARLY you didn’t read the same comic I did. Eridan, Gamzee, and Vriska are so misunderstood and I’m sick and tired of it. Put yourself in their place for once! Eridan was really struggling with the hopelessness of their situation, and the pressure of losing his status and everything he knew when Alternia was destroyed. Can you really blame him for killing a few people? How can you say you wouldn’t do the same in that situation? Not to mention that they all grew up on ALTERNIA, where violence and death were common place. That brings me to Vriska. She had to kill innocent trolls and feed them to her spidermom. Of COURSE her sense of morality will be maybe a LITTLE skewed, not to mention the trauma she must have ::::( She’s my favorite character (kin her SO HARD), and I’m still pissed at Hussie for killing her off like that, only to bring her back in the retcon and NOT have JohnVris be canon?? They’re my OTP and they would’ve been so cute together, not to mention the killer dynamic between Terezi <3< John <3 Vriska. Going off-topic there, let’s move on to Gamzee. Gamzee isn’t as bad as y’all think. It’s Dave’s fault for being so culturally insensitive (which, as a side tangent, really isn’t out of character for that racist trashbag). Gamzee was trying his best to cope with going through sopor slime withdrawl and the horrible trauma of his neglectful father. Of course he’s going to resort to violence when its all he’s ever known on Alternia. Sorry for ranting so much, I think I’ve had this on my mind for a loooooooong time now!! With that I think I’ll conclude this post, thank y’all for reading, love you other Vriska stans out there <3

Karkat Vantas 1 - Earth C - Dave & John

I don't remember a lot from the meteor other than at one point I think Kanaya was drinking something and then laughed. It was a purple drink (probably faygo oof) and it came out of her nose. I know that Dave liked to fuck around with music and he had that Hella Jeff and Sweet Bro comic he used to do. Nepeta and Terezi vandalized almost the whole meteor with their scribbles but otherwise, I don't remember there being a lot to work within forms of art. As annoying as he was, John was probably my moirail. He was the only other person that bothered to even attempt to pretend he was listening when I went off on a tangent about what was frustrating me other than Dave. That and, when they weren't aimed at me, he'd include me in planning out all these crazy elaborate pranks. I have a couple of memories on Earth C where we went out into some of the woods. I know that Gamzee, Sollux, and John were with me. John kept jumping out of nowhere and Gamzee almost got fed up and bashed his head in with a tree branch. My least favorite memory is of John dying the first time because he was the only human I really talked to at that point. One time Crab Dad and I were sparring and I remember it turned into kind of an arm wrestle with my sickle vs. his claw. Eridan was very manipulative towards Feferi but otherwise, his ego was the size of Mt. Everest towards the rest of us. Dave almost threw hands with fish dick, from what he tells me. Nepeta, Tavros, Jade, and John had a big group roleplay thing going on I think.

Karkat 2 - Doomed - Eridan & Sollux

Anger issues that never got fixed. Big depression from fuck if I know what. Doomed timeline because I don’t remember Earth C from this one. Terezi wasn’t a very fair judge, to put it subtly. She didn’t really share my feelings much to begin with and Vriska used my feelings for Terezi to manipulate me a lot. Terezi knew about it and let it happen. I remember her telling me this herself later on at some point. Eridan and I watched tons of movies together and we talked to each other about Sollux a lot, me in a flushed way and him in more of a pitched light.

Mituna Captor - Dream Bubbles - Cronus & Kurloz

It's mostly memories from before "the accident" where Cronus was a pretty rad friend with whom I exchanged meaningless insults with and shit. It was mean and shit, yeah, but we knew we were just dicking around. Kurloz was my moirail for a long time and the three of us hung out a lot. The only reason Kurloz stopped liking Cronus after what happened was because of his reactions to what happened to me and the impact of the incident on my brain and how I didn't remember him the same way. Latula wasn't all that in the picture until right before the accident and she was a lot like Paige from Atypical (if you haven't watched that show on Netflix, I highly recommend you do) where she had a lot of rules and shit that she needed to work through. I don't know entirely when, but Kurloz eventually was able to get it through my dense, mashed potato brain after the incident that she wasn't all that great for me and, after hyperfocusing on what he'd pointed out for a little while, I found myself agreeing with him and eventually ended my matespritship with Latula. Kurloz and Meulin didn't work out for some reason can't remember, but I know he told me what happened and after a while, Kurloz and I got together as matesprits. I stumbled upon one of those memory bubbles and it happened to be one of Cronus's memories with me before my brain got fried. He caught me "snooping" through the memory and, after realizing what memory he had left laying around, we talked about it and I understood him better, like I did before the accident. It didn't take long for him to worm his way into my pale quadrant. I wore a sweater instead of that suit. It was yellow with black stripes, but still had the Gemini symbol on it. Other than that, I wore jeans and yellow converse-type shoes. I didn’t wear my helmet unless I was skateboarding. Cronus was my grape and Kurloz was my plum. I think I was their banana or something like that but that just came to me so.

Kankri Vantas - Dream Bubbles - Cronus

I took some time away from others to try and have one of those little “self-discovery” things. I don’t think anyone tried to stop me from leaving, but I remember being very close with Cronus. I don’t remember who it was or what exactly they said, but someone had threatened me, which was my final little push to just go. Everyone was sick of my constant talking, so I went on my own for a while. I had found myself a pretty secluded place that wasn’t too far from a salamander village, but it wasn’t too close, either. Their language was beyond what I could learn and so I had to go off gestures for communication, which helped me realize that I didn’t need to speak so much to talk to someone. I worked mostly on my writings and how I portrayed myself to my peers while separated. My writings shifted from mostly lectures to strictly poetry gradually. Cronus and I used to watch Grease very often before I left. It kind of started to change my usual attire too? I know that I didn’t wear just a straight up sweater or the leggings anymore. I wore dark red jeans and a black/red letterman over a thinner red turtleneck. The lettermen jacket had a red cancer symbol on the logo.

Mallek Adalov - Tegiri & Lanque

Tegiri and I were big nerds for ninja/martial arts type shit. We nerded out at convention type of things and he eventually became my moirail. Lanque started out as my kismesis but at some point we quad jumped and he ended up as my matesprit. He and I spent a lot of time on rooftops overlooking the city and talking about everything. I think that’s when we quad jumped. We moved in together at some point and we couldn’t decide on the color for the walls, so it ended up looking a lot like the dress from Sleeping Beauty. MC’s route with me was the one where they yeeted out of my car so I never really got to know them. Diemen was a close friend, but he shut me out of his more personal life a lot.

yo, sup. ive concluded that i kin jade strider (daveways). therefore, here i am, making a canon call. the only SUPERRR clear things i got are the fact that everyone else was swapped as well (john lalonde [roseways], rose egbert, and dave harley) and that i was especially close with rose (so im rlly looking for her rn but i wanna meet everyone eventually ofc).

i had wavy/semi-curly black hair (it was about like... just an inch or two past my shoulders) round shades (though i sometimes had to swap them out for glasses, my vision wasn’t and still isn’t the best lmao), with the same buck teeth w/ red eyes. had an oversized white tee w/ red sleeves and loose pants. maybe sweatpants? i feel like i might of worn a skirt a few times before though. + scuffed up red sneaks. im not sure what symbol yet. had a couple scars but they aren’t really visible. was a witch of time and prospit dreamer. i’m not entirely sure what my symbol was honestly, but it might of been a cassette tape? or something of that nature.

i liked music a lot. like. a lot a lot. not just rap though; plenty of different genres. i made my own sometimes too and owned a guitar. i also liked rhythm games! those were fun. i owned a venus flytrap since i still had a soft spot for plants. i lived in an apartment and had a god awful sleep schedule. i had bro (jake strider) as my guardian.

john had this dark purple sweater and this broody look on his face like alllll the time. but he's a softie at heart lmao. anyway, he had square glasses and purple eyes. fluffy(?) black hair that could never be tamed and the same buck teeth. it was always a bit long since he didn’t cut it too often. he went grimdark at some point. he was a heir of light + prospit dreamer. he had a cat symbol.

john had these moments where he would just go mia for long periods. he eventually stopped doing that as the game went on though. i believe dave helped him out? they were very close. he liked to make movies.

rose had short blond hair and a dark blue headband. dave said that it might of had cat ears on it + her hair likely was curly. had a blue skirt and blue eyes and wore a pair of square glasses. she always was so smiley too. seer of breath and derse dreamer. she had a ghost symbol.

rose loved video games and the like, along with ghosts and the paranormal. she also liked to play pranks! she lived in a suburb with her mom (roxy crocker). she also had jaspers as a pet.

dave, my man.…. blond curly-ish hair. less curly than rose's though. more…wavy. green eyes, freckles, and he wore a pair of glasses that changed into sunglasses. he wore a patterned green flannel, a shirt with a bird symbol, and board shorts + a pair of flip flops. he went birdtier at some point. he lived on the pacific island. knight of space + derse dreamer. he liked to talk to me personally about animals. oh, and he was penpals with dirk english because of weird time bullshit.

terezi had short hair too; sometimes she kept her hair back in a ponytail. wore a pair of goggles w/ thick lenses and had them with her most of the time. very expressive and always had something to experiment with. i don’t know what she built exactly, but she did build some stuff.

vriska always tried to be mysterious and cool. it…didn’t really work. she often changed her text color.

not really a description, but eridan and i butted heads really often to say the least. i think by the end we managed to get along though.

i think that jake had shaggy, curly-ish black hair (think like..almost a mullet but not quite.) + orange eyes along with a black tank top and a pair of black baggy cargo pants. he wore fingerless gloves and had plenty of scars with triangle shades. he was pretty serious most of the time from my knowledge (although truly, he was kind of a dork lmao). regardless, it was kindaaa awkward when i first met him. he sometimes wore square glasses and had his ears pierced. i made a sprite edit of him if anyone is interested.

he loved robots. loved tinkering with them and everything. he also loved watching different types of movies.

jane had curly black hair that went a few inches past the nape of her neck + pink eyes. she wore a white short sleeve with a pink skirt and black gym shoes along with round glasses. she was hardworking and wanted the best for everyone.

roxy had super curly blonde hair + cyan eyes and wore an off the shoulder white long sleeve and a cyan skirt and fishnet tights. i feel like she had these chunky black boots too. she was very nice to everyone and had this positive vibe to her.

roxy told me that she skateboarded and baked a lot.

dirk had semi-curly blond hair + green eyes. he wore a green jacket and grey pants and had square glasses. he wore white gym shoes and had freckles. i think he might of had tattoos of some kind too? i don't remember much about him other than we had at least one conversation. he used some funny words i didn't understand that much but i still listened anyway.

my opinion on all main homestuck characters now that ive actually reread it cw for 8rief discussion of a8leism for tavros', terezi's, mituna's, and wv's parts, racism for damara and m33nah's parts, and cw for a8usive rel8ionships for gamz33's part. also i dont like/care a8t a lot of hs chars so if you a8solutely cannot handle s33ing any dislike towards chars you kin/like/are ur comfort chars read smth else
