frustrating that my current read is a digital one because don’t like looking at a screen after a certain time but I always read before I go to sleep now. my book is through the library so it’s free so I suppose I can’t complain too much haha

Underrated aspect of TOTK is the fact that they've changed how the Rito shoot.
Let us compare and contrast Revali and Teba from BOTW and AOC, with Tulin from TOTK:
I am A HUGE fan of this change for the following reasons:
Practicality: the Rito use their wings to, uh, fly. They're aerial archers. They need to be able to stay airborne and presumably the bullet time thing isn't a universal ability. Having them stop flapping, take out their bow, nock an arrow and draw and aim and letting it fly? Seems like a great way to break yourself on a cliff.
The arm strategy doesn't work for Tulin's character design regardless. He is just a lil lad! and it makes much more physical sense for him to draw back the bow with his feet, allowing him to keep flapping and stay aloft, especially when working in close quarters with Link, and even more while Link is on the ground. Also. using his hooked beak to draw back the bow string? Very clever, extra bonus points.
And finally, the most important thing of all: Feather fingers. What are they? Why do the Rito flight feathers alternate between looking like actual flight feathers and fingers. are they like bat fingers? There appear to be finger joints implying that there are bones throughout the Rito extremities. How do they work??? I'm so glad they're gone because it's a design element that just makes me go "eeughgghrelugheih" when I think about it for too long.

Okay I finally found the Anakin Palpatine badtouch comics I was looking for. It's in the Obi-wan & Anakin Comics Issue #4. Anakin is 12 years old and gets captured and badtouched by pirates (or something, I can't remember if they're pirates exactly but they're ambiguous bad guys).
You turn the page and Bam! It's a flashback of Palpatine touching Anakin in a similar way.
It is admittedly less explicit than I remember (I thought he touched his face in the same way) but it's the same place on the page in the same 3 panel layout and I'm sure they're meant to be paralleled.
And right before he touches him he says this to him:
He's talking of course about taking 12 year old Anakin to The Club to fuck up some senators, which he just did earlier in this comic, but it's still textbook groomer and it paints a very nefarious picture for us, the readers.
