I remember the scene from the first war where ochako’s fighting toga on her own and toga continues to ask her what she want to do to her and all ochako could focus on was: capture, capture, capture, stop her stop her stop her before she hurts someone else!

Which is completely understandable for ochako to think this because despite all the trauma toga has gone through- it is not okay to hurt others because of it

She couldn’t see Toga as Toga, a teenage ( though mentally unwell) girl who likes to love people

But about 120 or so chapters later, I see a role reversal

Now,togas is so consumed by her anger and grief- that she can’t see ochako as ochako ( the girl whom she has something in common with: love) but as a hero. And a hero killed Twice. She can’t stand heroes who get in the way of her love and so because of this death in her life that hit so close to hope, she can’t stand ochako

But now ochako is focused on toga as a person- and what she thought she knew about toga she’s thrown out the widow and now she’s trying to get to know the real toga- to see beyond and to read who she really is ( kinda how like toga was able to tell when they first met that ochako had a crush)

And now, even though bloody and banged up from head to toe, she’s willing to do everything, out of love of helping others and to protect their smiles, to help toga, who is willing to do anything to receive or feel genuine love from anyone, just once

Is it any wonder Horikoshi said that Toga was created for Ochako??

so i wanted to make a more coherent post about this but im impatient and don’t have time so you guys get whatever this mess becomes:

i have been having so many feelings about Wilhelm’s wardrobe. 

we know Wilhelm’s color is blue. aside from the interview where the costume designer explicitly stated it, we kind of already knew it since almost everything he wears is blue, with very few outliers (his red button down, his orange sweater). it’s super interesting to me, however, that in the promo pictures for season 2, blue is entirely absent from Wilhelm’s wardrobe.  

we only see him in casual clothes in 3 photos, and in those he is wearing gray, green, and purple. no blue. 

[ i would also like to note that even in the promo video with the cast, in front of the Hillerska building, he is again wearing gray and not blue ]

and it’s had me wondering since they came out, as to why he suddenly wasn’t wearing the color we associate with him. 

and really, i have 2 theories:

1: separation from the monarchy

blue is, of course, a color most often associated with royalty. aristocracy in europe is almost always some form of “blue-blood”. and i’m pretty sure the only other character who we see wear blue significantly is Queen Kristina. 

so the removal of blue from his wardrobe could be reminiscent of his fight with her, and with the monarchy. we know he’s going to be causing issues, with the revenge and the “danger to the monarchy”, so, again, visually pulling away.

2: losing himself

aside from the connection to the monarchy, we know that blue is Wille’s color. it’s about him just as much as his status. 

so the removal of it also brings up the idea that he is fighting to keep a hold on who he is. we know he’s going to do some... questionable things thanks to Edvin (”why, why, why?” im so afraid still) so i wonder if it will also tie into him doing something like that, and then struggling with himself to understand if that is who he really is.

im really so so excited to see if either or both of these come out with some truth to them, but really im just so excited to get new content to spend hours looking at the smallest details of.

hi yo hey anon!!!! I unironically listen to like jazz radios on YouTube because I'm a nerd BUT

I tried to make a playlist for Kalpas. sort of? it is Not Great but there was an attempt lol its kinda a mix of songs that remind me of kalpas, some I think he would listen to, some I think he listens to but would sooner die than let anyone know, and some that just kinda fit the vibe I guess maybe? the playlist isn't very long, it's more of a starting point I guess? you can obviously copy it and add or remove songs as you want or lmk and I can make changes, but I hope it helps!!!🧡🧡

never feel like drawing anymore

it was a quick phone call. she hadn’t thought about him in a while. after billy told her about how he had played a part in the death of the castle family, emily did what she was practically made to do: she ran away. chicago had quickly become her second home and her job within the intelligence unit had pushed her to be busier than she had planned to be in the first place. part of it was nice, really. emily was back with her friend erin and things felt nice, but there had always been a hole that she was ignoring. ignoring until now. 

it was curtis that got to drop the news. of course it was, right? because in reality, who else was there? frank got to be the one to do it and that honestly brought her a weird sense of relief. it was almost like - well, it was almost like the entire story between the two men got a real ending. 

emily had fallen in love with a man who - through all the trauma that life had thrown at him, became a monster. he was a man who wanted to feel something, something other than what the war overseas and at home had given him. he wanted to feel loved, he wanted to feel good and he wanted a purpose to life that was more than putting his life on the line with no one to take care of him at home. he was a man who liked to eat desert before dinner, who liked to pretend he didn’t like wine but snuck sips of hers when he thought she wasn’t looking. he was man who was infatuated with the smell of a perfume that she had gotten on a trip to italy with her mom. he wasn’t born as the man who he ended up being and even though he was gone now, emily hoped that he knew that there was someone in this world that understood that. there was someone that understood him...at least she tried to. 

so there she was, sitting on the floor of her living room as a heart broken girl who had lost the love of her life in one fifteen minute phone call. of course she was sad, but she was even sadder knowing that she might have been one of the only people mourning over a man named billy russo.

just a lil emotional headcanon that after jack died, emily doesnt really said goodbye anymore. if she does, she makes sure to not just end it with goodbye but add something else so it’s not as concrete like a “bye, see you later!” moment. if not, it’s usually just a see you later, goodnight, love you, etc. 

sorry the people who don't understand the concept of things that make you uncomfortable as sometimes having narrative value are yelling again
