most of the villains in one piece give wayyy to much credit to the straw hat's
im watching Dressrosa rn and Doflamingo is trying to interrogate Law about how the straw hat crew and the dwarves started working together
he says something along the lines of "that's not something you could've just formed on a whim one day"
and that's exactly what happened
the straw hat pirates are just down to over throw an established governance at any point, that's just a tuesday afternoon for these lunatics

This is exactly how I think the trend of kids being obsessed with Sephora happened:
Kid goes online to look up how to get rid of pimples, oily skin, etc-> finds it -> algorithm pushes 20 skincare routine vids made by 25y olds (for 25y olds) to the kids looking to clear their acne up-> kids feel obligated to get drunk elephant cuz everyone said it was the best for their problem n why experiment with products that 'the experts' say are less effective?
Then, of course, they bring their normal kid behavior with them into adult spaces. I think the biggest difference is that, even as someone who grew up with the internet, I didn't grow up with having a million videos on how to paint my nails, or clear up my skin shoved into my face after watching one 'how to' on the subject . I saw the ppl I followed n while I got one or two recommended vids from the person I'd watched to get me to follow them, it didn't become my entire experience. I could disengage easily at any time where if you wanna disengage with content today, it's a 20-step process just to do it right n of course they aren't going to do that when they're still in the stage of life where absorbing info is more important than protecting themselves.
Im not defending the parents either- it's their job to say no, but as a kid who grew up missing out on all the trends if my kid came to me crying about missing out on something their peers had (and that I didn't really understand) I'd be inclined to consider the request first n ask later.
My mom didn't get why I wanted a DS so bad, but she still got me one anyway, you know? It's just what worked for our parents (supporting even tho they don't get it) unfortunately, can’t really fly anymore. Because sales folk are not only more predatory than ever, but are actively in your pocket at all times, pretending to be an average joe just trying to give their besites advice.
Modern kids are far from dumb, but the level of bullshit they have to learn to detect is in the stratosphere compared to what I had to deal with.

I did a dig in and research into the account that you all were mentioned that k just followed
I’m a medicine student doing my last rotation and here some of my thoughts
Some posts are okay like the first one because those are actually good tips.
But the link tree
Omg no just no
What concerns me is that she do this and also put her daughter into this
Which btw confirms she is anti vx because this type of pseudoscience people don’t believe in pharmaceutical things but also want to do dangerous not regulated and non scientific proved procedures
I have an aunt that it likes this and she claims she is happy and healthy and she needs no take im not kidding or exaggerating 50 pills everyday
Ozone, oils, seeds, vitamins, minerals, etc etc etc non of this works trust me
Like if you’re body is okay and healthy why do you need all of this stuff? It’s like tea has good benefits but won’t cure you
It’s okay to be curious, it’s normal. But also go to professionals, you know the ones with a license to safe people and prescribe and the ones who actually studied medicine for a decade. Not to any person that googles 10 things and now believes stuff that some conspiracy guru on YouTube says about the body and health.
If you see any of this just take that info and ask the professionals. They are the ones who can work with you and help you. Don’t blindly follow things on the internet.
About enemas, what if you don’t know and you have polypos, or you are genetically prompt to a chron disease or Irritable bowel syndrome
You need a colonoscopy first. To check everything is okay. Intestine are delicate and absorbent. Coffee is acid (check the composition) you can burn the walls of your bowel.
I had so many people at ER for enemas and other weird pseudoscience procedures that went wrong
Someone put a quartz into their 🍑 to absorb bad energy yes people do that
And when they do that to kids it’s worst. We call the family department to handle the case because parents like to believe that kids are toys and they can do anything to them.
If you want to know weird medical cases I had just ask
I can give more info about coffee enemas and why they are dangerous
Thank you nonnie! And feel free to share anything you want!

Cannot wait for the day were i can just choose to set my cell phone down for a week without signing off my social life by doing so.
I hate so many things that arise from notification based conversation and social media, they suck, i want a landline, if someone really needs to talk to me, while im checked out from the internet, they can call me
I already bought an alarm clock so i can wake up without seeing notifications in the morning, if i so choose. I hate that so much of my basic daily functioning requires me to passively absorb whatever information pops up on my screen. It's not even an intentional process i can change in some instances, because 90% of the time i see a notification, i scan all the relevant info from the preview instantly.
And it's not like I don't think my phone is useful! it's not like I'm antisocial, either! I love spending time with people, i just find it so incredibly agonizing at times, that i have to interface with so much spam to be able to talk to someone or do something basic. And I just get so little of the dopamine i would normally get from interacting with people i care for. And unfortunately closing my phone and social media down for a week rn would turn my circle of people i can talk to, to literally one.

I Have Too Many Opinions. ep. 1
lmao. i got encouragement to post my opinions on fandom things and now i want to make a miniseries doing just that. so here i am. doing just that.
im putting it under the cut cuz this was 4 whole pages including the disclaimer. yes i put a disclaimer and i explain why.
Anyways, here is the first piece in what inevitably will become fandom info dump, this time on thomas astruc’s writing on miraculous ladybug. but only some of my opinions cuz we would be here all day otherwise.
So… a disclaimer before I begin…
I do not hate Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Chat Noir (yes i'm using their government name). I am quite a fan of the show actually despite its faults. I am also older than the intended audience but was obviously younger when the show first aired which is how my interest was piqued (the fact that its been 6 years and only 3 seasons says more about the show than me being a fan for that amount of time but also i never want to rush content creators cuz they're doing their best) and due to my age, there will be inherent bias in my approach of what i'm about to say as there is in EVERY opinion. The fact that it is an opinion should imply the presence of bias but most people tend to lack the critical thinking skills required to draw that conclusion ANYWAYS…
If I did hate the show I would not have this blog nor would I be even writing this because i tend to not give more than 2 seconds of thought to things i actively dislike (some of yall should give this a try) and i'm allowed to like things that are designed for an audience that i was originally a part of but grew out of. (I don't suddenly stop liking things because I'm older despite what many younger fans seem to believe about older audiences. I also don't need to be ‘allowed’ to do anything cuz i wasn't asking for permission anyways.)
This will not be character bashing, astruc bashing nor fandom bashing cuz, again, that would imply i hate any of those elements and if i did, i would not dedicate brainpower to them. Analyses and criticisms of media are fun and engaging and required if you wish to produce good enjoyable content. Now most of this should be already assumed and self-explanatory but people on the internet like to play morality roulette roll dice on purity culture and I rather have documentation that I am in fact not bullying fictional 14 year olds or a grown man. But alas, people get trigger happy whenever someone has less than 1000000% positive opinions on something they like and will throw out words they can't define (gaslight, baiting, toxic, problematic, gatekeep etc) in an attempt to defend their blind devotion,
which is not needed, if you like something you never have to defend it, even if i don't like it. If you respond to anything I post saying you disagree with me, I will not argue with you. I won't debate back and forth and try to convince you that the things you like are wrong. Unless you are being absolutely tone deaf to what i'm saying, you wont get a negative reaction from me. So don't try to fish for a fight. Please. I got metaphorical hands for days and I'm mean, you don't want me hurting your feelings on the internet. Do yourself the favour. Difference of opinion is how we get diversification in media and is inherently a good thing. Now that that's out of the way, please don't ever let me have to say that again. I beg.
Now onto the fun stuff
I didn't know what I wanted as a first topic so my trusty internet friend @moonlitceleste suggested astruc’s writing…
AND BOI do i got some opinions on ole tommy boi. Again I don't hate the dude. In fact, he has worked on a few shows that had defined my childhood, including but not limited to W.I.T.C.H. (all eps available on youtube for those interested, 2 seasons, general fun time all around).
So I don't think he’s scum of the earth but I do think his approach to writing mlb specifically has more misses than hits.
The first big miss is that he has no idea how to write 14 year old girls. At all. Almost every girl he has ever written feels like some terrible archetype built entirely for marketability and childish projection and pubescent self-insert (kind of). He has never been a 14 year old girl. I have. In fact when the show first aired, I WAS around the (assumed) age of the mlb characters. The behaviour he passes off as quirky or awkward or just the character’s genuine personality tend to perpetuate harmful stereotypes of teen girls found in the media and are never actually addressed as harmful. they just get swept under the rug. Marinette’s exuberant collage of teen heart throb model boi Adrien Agreste and her very painful almost fan worship she has of him (which flip flops like a paper sandal in the rain) being portrayed as a cute school girl crush uwu, Chloe being the y7 Regina George, Alya being the token best friend of colour with her ‘sassy’ personality (i want y'all to imagine me eyerolling so hard i bust a vessel in my eye), Kagami being the very damaging Perfect Asian Child stereotype. And before y'all get on your dusty soap box and defend going on about “BUT IT'S FOR CHILDREN”,,,, know this.
 i don’t give a solid fuck.
Not one.
Children arent stupid. Children are always going to remember the richy bitchy blonde who bullies the art kid, and the big kid, and the shy kid, and the non white kids, and was only nice to her equally rich white friend who she probably had a crush on or was only ever civil to her equally white lapdog. They're going to remember the half asian girl who was never allowed to actually be asian or the only black girl who existed solely as a soundboard for enabling bad habits or chastising the main character for the same habits she enables in the first place (boi aint THAT a topic for later). Like do i really need to explain that alya chastising marinette for taking max’s spot in gamer just to play with adrien rings absolutely hollow when she actively encourages her to sabotage the contest she’s in just so Kagami doesn't win?? Like I don't have to explain that right?? Again kids arent stupid and its quite something that Mari gets chastised for proving herself the best video game player regardless of her intentions just cuz it comes at the expense of max’s feelings/ego but is actively encouraged to sabotage not only kagami but herself by extension cuz kagami is ‘competition.’ Adrien is not a trophy to be won. And no I don't expect 14 yrs old to be perfect and to always make good decisions but these decisions are never addressed as being bad decisions. they get swept under the rug cuz those decisions were necessary for the ‘plot’ but astruc can barely keep characterization consistent and his characters suffer for it and it's the same children you preach are watching it that suffer as well. Cuz guess what? I KNOW 14 yr olds aren't like that cuz i've been there done that (this is the last time i'm saying that i promise) so I know astruc is just metaphorically throwing darts to figure out who says and does what without consideration for pre established personalities to drive the stalemate plot along. The same kids you say are watching this don't know that that's not how preteens work and will absorb and internalize those dynamics like baking soda and vinegar. Cata-fucking-strophically.
And I haven't even gotten to the boys yet. Which honestly doesn't require much explanation anyways cuz they suffer the same fate as the girls. Tired archetypes with nothing to give them life. Nino falls into Adrien’s person of colour token best friend who dates the female lead’s person of colour token best friend so they can have cute double dates uwu. Except the plot goes nowhere and we have no inclination of romantic development beyond moments that only act to actively convince me to anti ship the lovesquare (i don't want to do that so i self indulge in fanon that actually cares about the characters and plot. may i interest you in True Sight on AO3?). Max is the residential nerd but it doesn't matter (cuz he and everyone are dumbed down for the sake of ‘plot’), kim is the sports jock (which interestingly subverts the asian comedic relief stereotype but only barely) and luka is cute older guy ™ that wears black nail polish and is in a band. The point of all this is to say there is no depth in the characters. It's especially blatantly obvious with the characters astruc doesn't like (chloe). Again, it being a show for kids is not an excuse to be absolved of putting effort into the characters you make.
This is one of the biggest misses astruc has. I haven't even gone into all the nuances of this particular miss. And i havent gone into how that works against him in the plot either. Mostly because the plot itself hasn't gone anywhere and partially because I wanted to go into the plot (or lack thereof) separately as its own miss.
AND BOI is it a miss.
SO home boy astruc wanted to reap the benefits of a serial show with ‘engaging’ plot without putting in any of the work to make a linear storyline and relying on the episodic format for, again, marketability. You can't have the best of both worlds, you are not Avatar: The Last Airbender. Which btw has a lot less episodes and a desired end goal that didn't involve top dollar. Legend of Korra did but that's not the point and it had its failings with that too. I challenge you, tell me how many episodes actually contribute towards a plot point or introduce new thematic elements to the show? Can you name them? I can and I'm going to include the plot points that moved the story in some direction if only temporarily. Yes only temporarily for some of these and i will explain later. (if you're in the server you already saw this list *wink*)
25/26. Origins- self explanatory, the beginning of the story,
24. Volpina- introduction of the grimoire and Master Fu (kind of) and no, Lila is not a plot point,
28. The Collector- proper introduction of Master Fu,
37. Sapotis- introduction of Rena Rouge,
41. Syren- introduction of new aquatic power ups,
44. Anansi- introduction of Carapace,
47. Frozer- introduction of new ice power ups,
48/49. Style Queen- introduction of Queen Bee,
51/52. Heroes’ Day- introduction of Mayura and mass akumatization,
66. Startrain- introduction of Pegasus,
67. Kwami Buster- Marinette wears multiple miraculouses,
68. Feast- backstory as to how the miraculouses were lost,
69. Ikari Gozen- introduction of Ryuko,
70. Timetagger- introduction of Bunnyx,
71. Party Crasher- introduction of Roi Singe and Viperion,
73. Chat Blanc- alternate timeline that essentially means nothing but got a reaction out of fans anyways (myself included)
77/78. Love Eater/Battle of Miraculous- Marinette becomes guardian and other heroes lose their miraculous,
New York Special- other heroes exist and there is an American miraculous box,
That's 21 episodes. 21 out of a heaping 78 plus 2 specials. Everything else was just your typical akuma of the day episode and everything that happened outside that had no lasting consequences on the plot thanks to the miraculous status quo. Was it entertaining to watch Lila stir the plot of the class dynamic? Hell yeah. Too bad it meant nothing by the end of the episode cuz we were struck with miraculous status quo. She literally doesn't appear again until Heroes Day. that is from episodes 25 all the way to 51, she means nothing and yet she is treated with the severity of a b-villain/rival thing. She means nothing by the end of Volpina if I'm being honest. She is only relevant for 20 mins of episode time she’s in then it's back to magic status quo that undoes any shift in dynamics and relationships. It's like Spongebob who can't get his driver’s license. The worst part is I actually like Lila and I wish the story treated her with the seriousness we as an audience are expected to treat her with. Despite being painfully inconsequential by the end of each of the 3?? 4?? episodes she’s in, it's entertaining to watch a character create drama just because.
Too bad it means nothing.
Astruc is constantly building up suspense to something ‘important’ only for it to not deliver and fans are constantly having the rug pulled out from under us. Oblivio teased us with a reveal only that gets undone cuz memory akuma. Chat Blanc teased us with romantic development but that gets undone cuz time travel bullshit. Feast introduced more miraculous lore and the history of the guardians but that means nothing by the next episode or ever (i'm not including any reference to the season 4 trailer cuz i've been around the block a few times and im familiar with this lil dancy dance). Heroes Day teased us with a possible future team of heroes but that gets undone in Battle of Miraculous cuz ????? why?? (here's why; astruc was having a jolly ole time letting us know how irredeemable Chloe is at the expense of shooting his own stagnant plot in the foot. Again, discussion for later.)
Too bad anything that slightly swerves off course from the akuma of the day gets undone or ignored. Too bad nothing has any lasting consequence. I mean, if anything did, the episodes would have had a consistent order and release schedule so im not scrambling to watch the leaked ep in Portuguese or something while the french dub is two episodes behind while the english version hasnt even been dubbed. I really wonder how he plans to conclude the show when he’s so afraid to step out of the corner he painted himself in.
Again, not going into nuances. If you want you can ask for more specifics (i doubt anyone would) but this is really just a slightly detailed general overview of my opinions on astruc’s writing.
I was going to include another miss in his approach to this show but imma save that for another time.
How’s that for a ‘first’ post?

I've come to know that I'm pretty sure I'm trans and I have issues. For one, I don't know the politics in queer male spaces (just to be clear, I didn't even understand the nuances of queer wlw spaces, so I'm fucked both ways) I'm also multi-racial but present as black so I'm worried about being in mainly black queer spaces because I don't know how to thrive in those ones either and I don't want my sexuality, transness, or racial identity to make me the target of fetishists. Help?
disclaimer: im white & so i dont want to speak on behalf of qtpoc or anything. so i will speak to my experiences as a white queer trans man & then link to some resources that are specific to qtpoc (they are very USA specific tho since i am an american but hopefully they might still be able to help with info & stories even if ur not an american)
i think there is no one way to learn abt the "politics of queer male spaces" since....every where is different? of course there is an overall queer culture but even that experience differs due to race, class, age, etc. it can be overwhelming but everyone starts somewhere. sometimes you just have to dive in , by going to an lgbt+ group or event, or a queer bar or a club at school/campus.... social media can be helpful sometimes but there are a lot of intracommunity issues that often get in the way.
ive found that ppl i meet in real life & stuff are way more understanding abt the 'learning curve' of coming out to being A Part Of The Community(TM) than internet ppl tend to be. chasers can be a problem but i find they are typically p obvious like how dudes hear a girls bi & are like "does that mean u'd be down for a threesome?" idk
i think for me just the switch from occupying female spaces to occupying male spaces in general public was the hardest.....like not knowing how to act in bathrooms (mens rooms are so quiet ! no talking ! if i pee too loud will i get clocked ?!?!), not knowing how to like shake hands or do that weird little handshake shoulder bump thing, or if the use of pet names with friends who are girls have changed.....those kind of general things that you absorb over time of being socialized in a gender. i was so scared that any mistake in this would out me and all that. but over time i got more comfortable in interactions & navigating spaces esp as i pass more & more.
I really feel its just a time & experience thing, the more you interact & make friends & just Live as your true self the more that the little worries abt "correctly performing ur gender/sexuality in a public space" start to fade more & things feel natural.
im sorry if this wasnt the answer u were looking for.....here are those resources i mentioned: http://transcaresite.org/?page_id=2054 which maybe will have some more specific or relevabt info that u will find helpful

Ok, Here goes nothin...
This is the forst of many stages that I made in tribute to guilty gear and digimon, Guilty gear being my all time favorite franchise and digimon being one of my favorite franchises. To celebrate the up and coming release for guilty gear strive, Im gonna post these photos every tuesday until the release of guilty gear strive and to celebrate the release of the digital monster vital bracelets!!!
😊😊😊🥳🥳🥳
This is area 42, Dizzy's stage in guilty gear xrd. I believe digimon that appear in this stage are from the nature spirits and jungle trooper fields. And knowing that this is a city of water, Digimon from the deep savers field also appear as well!!!
Tentomon
Level Child Type Insect Attribute Vaccine/Virus/Data Field Jungle Troopers Metal Empire Nature Spirits
Info: The original type of Insect Digimon who, although it has a hard shell, still has low aggression. It has one hard claw on each of its fore-legs, and four on each of its middle- and hind-legs, and in particular, the middle-legs are able to skillfully grasp objects just like a human hand. Although the other Insects at its evolution level only possess fighting spirit, it still retains its naturally friendly sentiments, and displays its carefree way of life by doing things like sniffing the scent of flowers and napping in the shade of a tree. Its Special Move, which it possesses just in case, is hurling static electricity that it amplified with its wings (Petit Thunder).
Kunemon
Level Child
Type Larva Attribute Virus Field Nature Spirits
Info: A Larva Digimon which has lightning-patterns all over its body. As young insectoid Digimon are very unique beings among other Digimon, its evolved form is still unclear, but it seems to be obvious from Kunemon's discovery that there exist Insect Digimon other than Kabuterimon. Although it is uncertain whether the lightning-patterns on the portion considered its face can are organs equivalent to eyes, because they change shape in accordance with its emotions, it is said that they probably are eyes. Its personality is fairly malicious. Its Special Move is an electrically-charged thread of silk spewed from its hard beak (Electric Thread). If you get entangled in this thread you can get knocked out by the intense electric shock.
Tyranomon
Level Adult Type Dinosaur Attribute Data Field Metal Empire Nature Spirits Nightmare Soldiers Unknown
Info: A Digimon that resembles an ancient dinosaur that existed in the prehistoric world. It sweeps everything away with its two well-developed arms and its gigantic tail. It is extremely easy to tame due to its intelligence and docile personality. For that reason, it is highly valued by beginner Tamers, and is often raised with care. You could probably say that it is a representative figure of the most basic Digimon. Its Special Move is spewing out deep crimson flames the same color as its body (Fire Breath).
Elecmon
Level Child
Type Mammal Attribute Data Field Deep Savers Nature Spirits Metal Empire
Info: A Mammal Digimon that retained Tunomon's mammal-like elements and evolved. It's very curious and lively, and inherited its prank-loving personality from Tunomon. Also, Elecmon possesses nine tails, and during battle, it fans out its tail like the plumage of a peacock to intimidate its opponent. Its Special Move is "Sparkling Thunder".
Wormmon
Level Child
Type Larva Attribute Free/Virus/Vaccine/None Field Jungle Troopers Nature Spirits Unknown Nightmare Soldiers
Info: A Larva Digimon with a timid, cowardly personality. Just like V-mon and the others, it's a descendant of an ancient species, so it is able to perform special Armor evolutions, but since Wormmon is powerless when by itself, it can't possibly match up to larger Digimon. However, by Armor evolving with the power of the Digimentals, it is able to manifest unbelievable power. Also, it is said that in order for the fragile larva to grow into a powerful imago, Wormmon will one day evolve into an Adult overflowing with power. It can definitely be said that it is a Digimon who has hidden potential for the future. Its Special Moves are spitting out the threads of a tough, adhesive net, completely restricting the opponent's movements (Nebaneba Net), and spitting out stiff threads that are as thin as a silk thread but as pointed and sharp as a needle (Silk Thread).
Stingmon
Level Adult Type Insect Attribute Free/Virus/Data None Field Jungle Troopers Nature Spirits Nightmare Soldiers Wind Guardians
Info: An extremely unusual Insect Digimon with a humanoid form. It possesses nimble movements and a tough exoskeleton, defining traits of Insect Digimon. It excels in its abilities as an assassin, aiming for the opponent's vitals with its nimble movements and keen judgment, and specializes in attacks that silence the opponent with a single blow. It is highly intelligent and has great composure, along with a cool disposition. Its Special Move is a terrifying technique in which it skewers the opponent with the Spikes on both of its arms (Spiking Finish).
Morphomon
Level Child
Type Insect Attribute Vaccine Field Nature Spirits
Info: A Digimon with butterfly wings as its ears and hands. It has feelings of enjoyment for nature and a carefree personality. It touches those who have seen it for the first time to determine whether or not they pose a threat, and will follow them once it is satisfied with them not being a threat. It appears to be in a very good mood whenever its ear-wings move a lot. Its "Rinrin Therapy", fluttering scales shaken off of its wings, has the effect of healing the mind and body, or conversely, paralyzing the body, and is used for different purposes depending on the opponent.
Palmon
Level Child Type Plant Attribute Data Vaccine Field Jungle Troopers Nature Spirits Wind Guardians
Info: A Plant Digimon with a tropical flower blooming on its head. Although it evolved like a reptile from Tanemon, it is an unusual Type which is classified as a Plant based on its outward appearances and special qualities. During the day it opens up the flower and spreads its leaf-like arms to perform photosynthesis. It usually buries its root-like feet under the ground, and although it is absorbing nutrients, it is also able to walk. As for the flower on its head, when it is joyful or happy it will waft about a sweet fragrance, but when it is angered or senses danger, it releases a foul stench that will drive off even large Digimon. Its Special Move is entangling the opponent in ivy laced with a powerful toxin (Poison Ivy). If you suffer this attack, your body will be completely paralyzed.
Liollmon
Level Child Type Holy Beast Attribute Vaccine Field Nature Spirits
Info: A Holy Beast Digimon which has a golden coat. There seems to be very few surviving individuals, so its existence was not confirmed until recently. It is a Digimon with very intense territoriality, so it doesn't show mercy to those who enter its territory, even if they are the same species of Digimon. When it is on alert, the hair on its head becomes tinged with static electricity, and it is said that it produces a sound when threatened. Its Special Moves are cutting the opponent to pieces with its sharp claws (Lio Claw), and aiming at the opponent's vitals with its fangs (Critical Bite). Although "Critical Bite" has the power to take down an Adult Digimon with a single blow, its success rate is low.
Liamon
Level Adult Type Holy Beast Attribute Vaccine Field Nature Spirits
Info: A Holy Beast Digimon that exudes the style of a "King", even though it is only an Adult. It is said to be a Digimon that evolved from Liollmon, but there are even fewer surviving individuals than those of Liollmon, so its existence is becoming an "illusion". It tends to prefer capturing prey that is stronger than itself, and it has often been observed commencing an attack against an Ultimate Digimon without even flinching. Its Special Moves are charging and then releasing electricity generated in its mane (Thunder of King), and reliably aiming at the opponent's vitals with its fangs (Critical Strike).
Gaomon

It's a very cute type of Digimon, and from its calm behavior it doesn't seem like a "Combat Species" Digimon, but in the case of battle, it shows that it is more powerful than it appears. Its Signature Move is generating a tiny tornado by spinning its ears like a propeller (Petit Twister). Its Special Move is spewing out a shot of superheated air (Blazing Fire). Its Signature Moves are generating a tiny tornado by spinning its ears like a propeller (Petit Twister), and its Unison Technique "Double Typhoon". Its Special Move is spitting out shots of supercooled air (Blazing Ice).
Criticisms are much appreciated!

okay sorry didnt reply to ur reply to my ask i was cleaning an entire house bc im a slave to my parents existence amirite ladiez but anyways oh also i love that you give long replies to asks so sexy of you, but tru about a lot of things but also as a fellow poor broke bitch internet is expensive some devices get shared etc and so maybe i think im more worried about getting people to read and like acting on what theyve read then as well like putting in the effort in this economy ?? and like sometimes i wonder if younger kids will be able to like sit down and fully read n absorb info because its not rly instant gratification theyre used to like how they are with likes and comments or super in your face consumable content maybe (i sound like a boomer i swear im not i barely turn 19 this year 👁👁) also idk why but i genuinely laughed out loud at you having to explain to someone what it is for smth to be political “i was like omg ... i live in a such a diff reality to u” omffgg n that sounds like a fun course to TA for technology and education on it rly went zjoom in the last couple awf years innit, do you think some of the info being taught in the course is going to change as quick as the tech is ?
LOL relatable ... the worst was having guests over so i’d have to like make every corner spotless with my sister while my mom hovered angrily jkdfhg and cleaned the kitchen? i guess? even tho my sis and i would still do that too ... o good! u don’t mind long replies i feel bad sometimes replying too much cause i’m like omg i doubt they wanna read all that but ... i’m happy u don’t mind. i see what u mean .... no idt u sound like a boomer it truly is a valid concern but like i think maybe it’s cause a lot of the ‘solutions’ that are presented to this problem really are like maybe not addressing the root of it? cause like ok if u think abt the kids engaging with insta-activism like the slideshows and shit and let’s say they only ever engage with ones that have like pretty uncontroversial accurate info (which obvs isn't’ the case but pretend it is) like they won’t b inclined to do the reading if they’re under the impression that it is accurate and uncontroversial even if the reading and source material is literally referenced, but urging them to do the reading is also gonna have no effect cause it doesn’t have that instant gratification right, instead .. like personally ... i think it has to b self-starting right for it to be self-fulfilling and to get ppl to engage,  and i think a really great way of doing that is instead teaching ppl and teaching kids to practice education and to practice like ....reading and the consumption of information critically... cause if u make ppl always consider things like who’s writing this, from what standpoint, why would they write this, who is saying something in contradiction to it..... like once u sow that seed of doubt, doubt is impossibly difficult to get rid of.... like it just sticks in u like wait but what if... is this info legit ???? and usually thoughts like that prompt further investigation and further reading and largely like buzzfeed articles will end up unsatisfying cause duh and so it might direct ppl to the source authors and the source material u know what i mean.... but if the doubt and the drive to engage with shit criticalyl doesn’t take in a person, then i don’t think there’s anything that would make these kids engage with things more deeply anyway like no matter how much info u throw at them that might contradict their attittudes idt it’s gonna change.... like again to the uni example even in uni where students might be required to read a whole syllabus, if they don’t vibe with the content for whatever reason it’s really gonna have no lasting impact. but if u make ppl doubt the content and the attitudes with which a media text has been constructed then maybe they would go out and find other stuff.... i mean obvs there’s an issue abt how a lot of these facebook moms have too much doubt and not enough reputable information but i think that’s proabbly another important skill ppl are simply not taught ...... like the extent of MY education, personally, on reputable sources was “don’t use wikipedia” and then in uni “try to stick to academic articles from big journals” and obvs another issue with that is not everything that makes through the hoops of the academy is going to be reputable or good but like u kno that’s the critical thinking part .. but at least in my experience neither thinking critically, not vetting ur source info carefully were taught to me in high school, and in university it was ONLY taught in courses that had more of a humanities valence to them ......... so what i guess i’m trying to say is that it’s NOT entirely a social media thing for ppl to be behaving that way but also social media does nothing to discourage patterns of thinking and behaviour that urge for instant gratification. like obvs social media has a gajillion other issues too that are entirely unregulated so .. overall disaster but like yea .. and ya !! it was legit  i was sitting there like omfg ..... bro ...... and apparently another TA had someone ask for the TA to mark less harsh cause they just “don’t really care about politics so they can’t write abt it well” like okay? cop out??????? grow up omg ur in third year .... but yea i think the technologies are definitely changing even between when we worked on the course in the summer and now in september more relevant things have come out like we have a lecture on materials and computer science and part ofit talks abt exploitation of kids in the DRC for mnining things like cobalt and just a couple days ago an article came out which said that apple and google i think? are being named in a lawsuit aroudn that so like yea the landscape is shifting but the base concerns are not u kno like ours is structured more high level with case examples so like data politics, technology is political, privacy, use of materials, disposal of technology/repair, etc. etc. which have and will always b relevant when discussing technology u kno!

Run Your Own Organisation By Reselling Wholesale Child Clothing On Ebay.com
Tumblr media
In order to speak about love and also still create a socially acceptable metropolitan identity, musicians often tend to implement one of the five effective love narrative forms. Nobody recognizes circumstances like that, individuals cant manage it, so they 'll discuss it for life. The lady attempting to sell me their newest phone package referred to a television advert. She maintained me talking for roughly 10 minutes throughout which time she referred me to this particular TELEVISION advert a further 4 times, and also each time I ensured her I had not seen it since I do not enjoy television. Knitting can be picked up throughout the adverts and also operated at for 5 or 10 mins each time. New threads as well as stylish pattern designs make weaving enjoyable and also quickly, and also I can weaved even if I am seeing TELEVISION, albeit an uncommon occurence for me directly! With the internet, even if you live in a neighborhood that is little, you aren't restricted to your local location, as well as can find people not just around the UK, however across the world as well! Then enhance with baby images and also such, after that take it to your local copy store, like Kinkos, and have them publish the web page on pastel colored paper. In some cases weve come across neighborhood road fairs or windsurfing events or a version train gallery. Weve discussed endometriosis, that which can be a cyst. So, you can have hemorrhaging with a cyst yet the majority of the time those are unusual scenarios. The endometriomas, if they persist, as well as theres continual blood loss in the abdominal area as well as the ovary that can create attachments. Any kind of hemorrhaging cyst can be a trouble. A maternity with a corpus luteum, the second sort of practical cyst goes on to create as the baby is expanding. Most of these, the larger blood materials, the larger blood vessels on cysts are generally the corpus luteum cyst. Many ovary cysts in and of themselves are not going to be causing an issue. However, the vital thing below, is that cysts themselves, in as well as of themselves are not mosting likely to be an issue or life harmful trouble. The nature of the celebration is most likely mosting likely to have a tendency towards the feminine side; if the organizers of the party have a stipulation for this, then inviting guys would certainly be fine. Undoubtedly, there are countless men as well as females that are making excellent loan making use of the internet company path. In this song, the poet uses the perceptual story to acknowledge that some guys "dont be comin right ", yet that he has a different perception of women than these various other guys. Meant to aid with the pain, supposed to assist me keep In this tune, Guru makes use of the different narrative to share his sight of what love need to be. Nevertheless, aspartame was enabled on 1981 for dry goods as well as 1983 for carbonated beverages.

Individuals made use of to exchange items and also solutions for various other products as well as solutions before money was produced, and also some individuals still trade today to stay clear of using money (primarily for tax reasons I am informed). Some other terrific solutions are a diaper service for towel diapering moms, or perhaps a baby diaper delivery service for disposables, and pay for the very first two weeks or a month worth of diapering items. Even the colors used in the textile must be natural and safe. You might be at first attracted by all the eye catchy shades and also the fanciness of the attire, yet if your child is not mosting likely to like it, it is going to come to be ineffective. Pajamas and bodysuits for little child girls been available in all different shades and designs, and also are produced all kinds of climate. A couple of items would certainly do - a pair of rompers, a set of t shirts, a set of jammies. Alternately, you can place a Tee shirts over their jammies. They intend to have dresses with breathable textile and very easy on the body. Is this what we have concerned, - everybody in our area enjoys the same adverts, the very same programmes, the exact same newspaper article every solitary day or evening? Note: After attempting single foods, excellent combinations are potatoes and also carrots or carrots as well as peas. And also not only will I review it for him, Ill make it seem like the Elvis of foods, since Im currently quite certain that Sickness love a hamdog. He also describes his love interest as "this Ethiopian queen from Philly ", making use of the imperial characterization so common in spiritual love stories. If you're truly strapped for money, then you can probably make do with using your bed as a changing table, but if you can, this is something I very suggest. Its far better to feed child very first point in the early morning, then enable some play or remainder time in between prior to offering infant a bath. At a "Pamper Event," an idea progressively prominent for mothers that currently have several children and therefore most of right stuff they really need, they might take residence health facility devices such as a loofah or bubble bathroom. An excellent bath-themed present basket would certainly consist of some hypo-allergenic bath products, like child bathrooms, talcum powder, towels, and bath playthings.
The major plus is that the majority of, if not all of these complimentary products, are supplied right to the mother's house. And also, with that said, allows solve down to the nitty sandy. Do you have the software application you need to begin? At some factor you are mosting likely to wish to transport your infant, so you will need to purchase something. Unless you're intending to hold on to them for your next baby, they're just gathering dirt. With a few simple skills, a helpful collection of "stuff, " and simply a bit of preparation as well as preparation, youll get on your method! There is a location for TELEVISION in our lives as well as it seeks all the fastest method of absorbing news from worldwide. Taking courses abroad Right here, the poet makes use of the spiritual narrative to define the time, area as well as emotions that his love was started on, talking of them as if they were somehow suggested to happen. Perhaps she believed that was her place worldwide and also no-one could fault her if she did her responsibilities to the utmost of her capacity. I when had a neighbor who educated the world and it's mother she thought sanitation was beside Godliness and spent throughout the day each day cleansing her home. It is thought that from this you truly have the choice to take a look at every little thing before you even need to acquire something. Tight neck lines would difficulty you and also even the placement of buttons at strange settings would cause you issues, so examine these ahead of time. At the very same time the switches as well as other elements in the design must be meticulously stitched. But Betty had the money whenever I went to prison This track further illustrates the use of contrasting stories to reveal love. This example additionally shows the usage of initial language in conversational narratives. The poet feels it is unacceptable for anybody to "call you out your name ", or simply put, make use of negative language towards his love. Several of the infant shower concepts will certainly help any kind of place, indoors or out. Do you desire your child to look cute or great with baby clothes however you don't have concepts on where to seek them? Expense is a significant thing you would desire to take into consideration when purchasing baby clothes. It's simple, look at a child apparel store. Apparel treatment plays a large duty in your infant's security. Thus, it is constantly advised that you maintain the safety and security and also convenience factor in mind even when you are looking for celebration gowns for your youngster. Also when you have actually purchased a lacy blouse for your little woman, if you finish up obtaining a dimension that takes place to be a little bigger than her actual dimension, she will certainly be comfy in it. And, parents will certainly be most likely to keep purchasing garments to stay on par with the alterations in the baby's development - dimension, weight, length, as well as shape. Hence, getting clothing that are somewhat larger than the real size of your children body presents will be good as it makes sure optimal comfort for the child.
Nonetheless, these booster shot processes will only make their systems strong yet it does not offer an assurance that microorganisms can't penetrate their method in. So why did she behave in this means? The exact same point can be real with, absolutely with tube pregnancies, thats why those 2 can be perplexed. Yes it holds true that baby clothing do not last long with children expanding as quick as they do, however taking treatment of a babies clothes is still simply as, if not even more, essential. Hip-Hop, you the love of my life and also that's real This passage is distinct due to the fact that it utilizes both the metaphoric and contrasting narrative strategies. The discussion of Hip-Hop enjoy narratives is a really uphill struggle. Which leads us to the most popular metaphoric Hip-Hop love story of our time. Infants will like this dish. Thick as well as fluffy attires will certainly keep the infant cozy from head to toe. Here is a checklist of popular products that has actually been looked into with some of the largest online stores of child products. Right here are some of the basic things you'll want to have. Do you want to give a present to a brand-new mom without spending a great deal of money? They utilize it when cleaning to eliminate smells, soften the materials, and give your infant and also young child clothes a fresh and also a lot more natural aroma. When you are considering your childs comfort, its not only concerning the style of the clothes youre purchasing it will certainly additionally be a matter of how the item rests on your infants body. Take into consideration just how much you have right into the thing. The following time you are re-assembling your package, make certain to add that product. I would certainly instead hang around with my family and also friends, chatting on the phone, going for long walks or dancing the night away. With all that having actually been stated, Ive found a new food that I recognize I'm going to like. Soon you'll uncover that having just a couple of nice clothing ends up being not practical. I had an excellent cost-free website a few years ago I checked out every day. Utilize your Roadway Adventure logbook to tape every people remarks about the day. This will certainly offer no good as acquiring infant items indiscriminately will not simply be waste of money however additionally wild-goose chase and also power which you can place for some positive use. If passing by cars and truck you must constantly use a child seat as well as comply with the producer's directions for suitable. If your trip restriction is no even more than a one-hour auto ride one means, then try to find areas of interest within about 40 miles of house. Which is not an issue due to the fact that similar to kidneys, just like testis, females with one ovary can have equally as many babies as a lady with two ovaries and also two tubes. Obviously it is a 2x matrix, implying those initial 2 people you got to join are on your initial degree. You ought to constantly have two pairs in the evening time, because you never ever know when a baby is mosting likely to spew up or have a baby diaper leak that can call for a complete garment modification.

26 Marketing Tools for Non-Tech-Savvy Marketers
Marketing tools are essential for streamlining and automating the more arduous aspects of the process.
The only issue is that you’ve got to actually learn how to use them.
You have to learn their capabilities, their limitations as well as their nuances.
It’s no biggie if you’re tech-inclined.
But what if you’re not so tech-savvy?
Using marketing tools can nearly negate the purpose if it’s a struggle just to figure them out.
That’s why I compiled a list of 26 marketing tools for non-tech-savvy marketers.
Each one is practical and user-friendly and requires a minimal learning curve. Many are even free.
Content creation
1. WordPress
Let’s start with the absolute basics: WordPress.
You could consider it to be the “OG” of content management systems.
As of late 2015, it powered 25% of the world’s websites.
And it’s very likely that number is even bigger today.
A large part of WordPress’ appeal is its utter simplicity and non-technical nature.
You can create and maintain a beautiful website with literally zero knowledge of coding.
And if you happen to understand HTML, you can completely crush it.
If you want to create a site for your business or blog, I highly recommend WordPress.
You can learn how to do it from scratch with this video from Quick Sprout.
2. Google Drive
When it comes to cloud storage, I think of Google Drive as being the universal platform.
I can’t count the number of times I’ve worked with clients or business partners who’ve made Google Drive their platform of choice.
Like most Google products, it’s super intuitive and easy to use.
I use it for writing and backing up content as well as for sharing content with others.
It’s perfect if you have multiple people working on a project because sharing and editing is a cinch.
Besides docs, you can create slideshows, drawings, spreadsheets, and more.
3. Grammarly
I don’t care if you’re Mark Twain, everyone is bound to make mistakes when writing.
Whether it’s a silly spelling error or poor grammar, it’s impossible to catch everything.
But Grammarly will do just that (or pretty darn close to it).
Add it to Chrome, and Grammarly will monitor everything you write, point out any issues, and offer advice on how to resolve them.
It goes above and beyond Word and will make you look like an expert even if your writing skills are lackluster:
The cool thing is that it will also scan your emails before sending them out so you don’t look like an idiot when corresponding to customers or clients.
I highly recommend it!
4. Word Counter
Word count is kind of a big deal, especially if you’re writing long-form content and need to reach a specific number of words.
But not all online writing platforms display word count.
I love this tool because I can quickly copy and paste a body of text, and Word Counter will let me know how many words I’ve written.
It’s super quick, and I’ve never experienced any sort of glitch.
Content ideas
5. Google Trends
Coming up with new ideas for content can be a major struggle.
Even if you’re an expert, it’s not always easy to come up with stellar ideas.
I’ve found Google Trends to be a great place for getting a sense of what’s popular at the moment.
Often, it will point me in the right direction, and I can then use it to gauge the exact interest in a particular topic.
For instance, here’s how the interest in content marketing has grown over the past five years:
6. Alltop
Using Alltop is a breeze.
Simply type in a search phrase, and hundreds of popular blog posts on that topic will pop up:
I use this for brainstorming all the time, and Alltop has helped me come up with some epic ideas for blog posts.
7. BuzzSumo
Words cannot express how much I love BuzzSumo.
Pretty much anyone can figure it out within minutes, and it’s the perfect tool for generating an arsenal of content ideas.
But what separates it from other tools is the fact that it provides you with key info such as:
how much engagement content receives
who is sharing it
links pointing back to the content
The only caveat is that you must purchase the Pro version to unlock all the features.
But you can still do a basic search with the free version.
8. Ubersuggest
This one is a bit like the Google Keyword Tool, only simpler.
Enter a search term, and Ubersuggest will spit out dozens or even hundreds of ideas:
It’s really easy to use, and it’ll keep supplying you with topics whenever you need them.
Communication and collaboration
9. Basecamp
If WordPress is the OG CMS, Basecamp is the OG of project management and team collaboration.
Countless other products have been developed, many of which are cooler and sexier.
But Basecamp still retains its status and continues to be one of the big dogs.
I love its clean interface and how intuitive it is.
It’s very non-intimidating even for the most non-tech-savvy of marketers.
10. Trello
At this point, you probably know I’m big on visuals.
Images make it easier for me to absorb information and stay on top of my game.
That’s why I love Trello.
It involves a system of boards where you can communicate with colleagues and keep tabs on project progress.
It can easily be scaled up or down as necessary and can really boost productivity.
I know many people who swear by it.
11. Asana
This is another visual-oriented platform that I’ve used on several occasions.
I prefer Basecamp over Asana, but it’s the number one team-collaboration platform for many marketers.
In fact, some companies that use it include TED, The New Yorker, and Uber.
My favorite aspect of Asana is the ease with which I can track a project from start to finish.
I’m a stickler for deadlines, so this helps me ensure they’re always met without a lot of stress.
12. Slack
When I think of Slack, I think of hipsters. But in a very good way.
It’s perhaps the coolest, sleekest, sexiest collaboration app in existence.
And it’s dead simple to use.
Slack revolves around creating “channels” where you communicate with team members either publicly or privately.
Drag and drop your files to share with others, and search your archive any time you need specific information.
Slack makes it easy.
Task management
13. Wunderlist
I stay busy, so it’s easy to feel overwhelmed when I’m bombarded with a barrage of tasks on a daily basis.
One of my favorite weapons to counter that is Wunderlist.
I place it on my desktop so I can see exactly what’s going on and what I need to take care of on any given day.
And, of course, I can also access it from my smartphone or tablet.
I can easily save links, photos, and other media I want to keep.
I also use it to set reminders of specific tasks’ deadlines and make note of any business/project ideas that pop into my head.
In other words, Wunderlist helps me keep my you-know-what together.
14. WordPress Editorial Calendar Plugin
If you use WordPress (like I recommend), you’ll want to take advantage of this plugin.
It’s a little like Google Calendar, but specifically for scheduling your blog posts.
You can:
Manage drafts
See what’s been posted
See what needs to be posted
Manage posts from different authors
Like most things on WordPress, it’s user-friendly, and it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out its features.
15. Todoist
The tagline of this platform is “Accomplish more, every day.”
And that’s fitting because I’ve found Todoist to be a major catalyst for productivity.
You simply record tasks, prioritize them as needed, collaborate with others, and get stuff done.
I love its no-nonsense interface and minimalist vibe.
SEO
16. Yoast SEO
This is another WordPress plugin and one that I highly recommend if you’re fairly new to the SEO game.
Here’s a screenshot of its features:
In other words, it handles nearly every major aspect of SEO.
The best part is its simplicity.
I love Yoast SEO because it’s very hands off and automates many of the more arduous SEO tasks like creating optimized URLs, keeping track of keyword density, and so on.
Before you publish your content, Yoast SEO will rate its readability and your keyword usage by giving it a color: red for poor, orange for okay, and green for good.
If you loathe the technical nature of SEO, this is a great plugin to use.
17. Google Keyword Planner
If you were to use only one tool for performing keyword research, this is it.
Even the biggest SEO nerd will agree that it’s useful because you’re gathering data right from the horse’s mouth—Google itself.
The cool thing is that you don’t need to be technically adept to figure it out. Most of the features are pretty self-explanatory.
18. MozBar
In my opinion, Moz is perhaps the Internet’s number one resource for all things SEO.
I especially love its Whiteboard Fridays, offering in-depth analysis and insight.
If you’re looking for a quick and easy way to determine key SEO metrics like links, page authority, and domain authority, I highly recommend MozBar.
Simply add it to your Chrome toolbar, and you’re good to go.
19. SEMrush
This is another great SEO tool that’s amazingly easy to use.
Just enter a URL or keyword, and you instantly get a boatload of useful information such as:
Organic search volume
Backlinks
Top organic keywords
Main organic competitors
Branded search
If you’re looking to perform competitive analysis for keyword or content opportunities, look no further than SEMrush.
Images
20. Canva
If you’re creating content, you’ll need plenty of beautiful visuals.
In my opinion, Canva is hands down one of the best platforms for creating your own images and documents from scratch.
It’s really easy, and Canva offers a wide array of images that are totally free.
You can modify them as needed for your content or for branding purposes.
The best part is that you can do this with virtually no design experience.
21. PicMonkey
PicMonkey is a photo editor that allows you to design, resize, do touch-ups, create collages, and a lot more.
Using it is no sweat even if you have no clue what you’re doing in terms of design.
It’s perfect if you have your own images you want to customize, and PicMonkey helps you make them look like a million bucks.
22. Pixabay
Here’s my take on stock photos.
I prefer to pay for them and get the best of the best.
But if you’re just starting out or are on a budget, Pixabay is one of my top picks.
Everything is royalty-free and available for the public to download, modify, and distribute.
They have a massive archive of pictures that covers most topics, and the quality of their images has really improved over the past couple of years.
Here are just a few samples:
23. Creative Commons
Creative Commons is basically an aggregator of images free to use for commercial purposes. These images can be modified, adapted, or built upon.
You enter a search query, and choose from multiple platforms like Flickr, Wikimedia Commons, Open Clip Art Library, and even Google.
It’s a great tool for streamlining your image search.
Metrics
24. Google Analytics
There are countless metrics platforms out there for measuring your website’s performance, traffic numbers, and so on.
But I think it’s safe to say that Google Analytics is the be-all and end-all tool.
The free version is more than sufficient for diagnosing your website and, in my opinion, quite easy to use.
I’ll admit there is a bit of a learning curve, but most people can figure out the basics in a day or two.
25. Bitly
Bitly is perhaps best known for being a URL shortener.
In fact, I use it all the time for condensing URLs on my Twitter page:
But it’s useful for way more than that.
Here’s the deal.
Bitly allows you to track individual links and gather key information about their performance.
You can tell what your audience is responding to (or not) and tweak your marketing efforts accordingly.
26. Clicky
Finally, there’s Clicky.
Despite its comprehensiveness and level of detail, I consider it to be one of the most user-friendly analytics tools.
You can see what’s happening on your website in real time, monitor the actions of visitors, and even look at heat maps, which I love.
I know some marketers who actually choose Clicky over Google Analytics.
Conclusion
I totally understand the frustration that many non-tech-savvy marketers feel.
There are many tools that are great but require serious knowledge to be utilized properly.
These can really cramp your style and drive you crazy.
But the marketing tools I’ve listed are ones that will get the job done without being overly complex.
With most, the core features can be learned within just a few minutes.
This way, you can spend less time trying to figure out your marketing tools and more time reaching your audience.
Can you suggest any other easy-to-use marketing tools?

Rant
And wow this is long, and i have no idea how to keep reading it so I apologize in advance,
Just watch the Omar interview with Trevor and wow, does the trolling JUMP on the comments.
Alas, these american idiots be like, tHeiR rEliGioN is vIoLenT, iN tHe bOok theEy sAy tHis, aLL mUslIm haTe us, Isis is iSlam. -_- i mean they are probably troll cuz I just can't believe that someone from the US would actually believe an organisation (terrorist no less) is representative to all religion. Like that's literally saying the blue / the red are representative to all american. Like come on.
I mean as muslimah who spent most of her internet time in foreign english-speaking domain (which is dominated by america), I aint new on islam-hating words. But like it has and always been alittle frustatingly hilarious to me.
Also disclaimer i aint from english-speaking country so im translating the terms of my language, cuz y'know i dont know what english-speaking people would called them, i only know the terms in my language. Also im pretty sure my experience and lessons I get are island or even small city-oriented, but you may be surprised (like i did) but the islamic lessons that are taught have small differences in each country or nation based on cultures or even country's history.
Cuz it's always the same thing. AND the hilarious thing for me is that their arguments most often are similar to the radical or the terrorists. Just swap the people they called the devil worshipper / the enemy. Like the terrorist/radicals would say that the Jewish people (which honestly is very telling how they never say israeli) is a satanic / genocidal / evil etcetra, while these islamic-hating comments would say Islam is a satanic / genocidal / evil etcetra.
Which, huh, maybe those comments/posts are the reason why I never paid much to the radicals.
Like judging from those rhetorics where 'Islam as a religion hates christian and/or jewish people' etc, many non-muslim seem to not know this, but like there's this 6 elements that you HAVE TO truly and wholeheartedly believe (put faith on) in your heart to be muslim. And one them is having faith (as in truly believe) that Torah came from Prophet Moses and Bible came from Prophet Isa. So, whenever I spy these rhetorics, I just can't!! Because we were supposed to also learn from Torah and Bible too. But, I also think it's understandable, cuz it's probably an awkward thing to openly say right? Esp in these tension-filled interaction between religion where aLOT of things has been said to attack. Or maybe it's not an awkward thing, but words that cannot penetrate the walls that was built from conflict and hatred.
Also
I was taught that Qur'an is the last Holy Book to round-up or finish off all lessons from previous books that came from previous prophets. But I did come to realize that the lessons I was taught were only words they parrotted without meaning. Why? Because I was taught that in my single digit year old, now I'm on my twenties and I never learn what's in Bible or Torah. Even tho, the holy books we were supposed to learn, understand, and apply were Torah, Bible, and The Quran.
You maybe wondering if I do believe that why don't I research those holy book myself. Well I did, but the young me got confused at the bible versions that pop out from my initial search that I give up because I aint touching that without any Christian with me., Thats just a disaster in waiting, cuz I wouldn't be able to spot whats true or not since I have no base knowledge on it ya know? But, I did get that children book of Christian's prophet stories. Tho, I can't mention it willy-nilly cuz people would think I'm converting. T.T amd nobody would want to read it for fear, but like if anybody ask me I would say you are not afraid of the christian tales, you are afraid to find out how fragile your faith is.
I get to that point after many of these news that are viral on the islam part of internet where they glorify and amplify the news whenever someone converts to islam or whenever someone 'owned' non-muslim's in debate or whenever someone get non-muslim to convert.... Not gonna lie, at first, I did join on these people in amazement and happiness until I realized these people were only using these stories to back up their choice of religion. Like they scream while acting humble, I am right in choosing Islam, see it is undeniably the truth, those are the proofs!, look non-believers got converted the islam is true!. And my fellow muslim you would thought there was nothing wrong with these words (like I did) until you realize these people don't actually believe in Islam. They only interest to be saved or want the benefits of Islam, but they only filmsy believe the religion so they use as many of those stories to prop it up. They are in denial, deep deep denial how fragile their believe is so they seek these stories to prop up their faith.
How do I get there? Well, one of them is flat earth. Bro, I have interact wih these fools who jump on flat earth because apparently a quote in the Quran said so. At first I was like bro what? I did say that the word used for implying flat earth is ambiguous before I realize I don't have the authority nor accredited knowledge to say that. But I did jokingly say 'what are all the fusses with the earth shape and the Qur'an quote? What, you gonna stop being muslim over that? Lmao, can't relate' before i realized that THATS THE THING. These people have used those stories and believe blindly and narrowly that everything in the Qur'an is true and applicable to everything to prop and use as a foundation for their believe, that when they found any surface disperancies, they lost it.
I can already feel muslim frowning at me saying what's wrong with having these stories affirming their faith. you see, on the panic over the fragility of their believe they went on full stupid and just swallow ANY SENTENCES without any thought whatsoever abt Islam that would strengthen their faith. Girl, some ustad be saying that islam prohibits drinking while standing is proven scientifically right because when drinking while standing will make the water fall hard straight to your bladder and cause the water to not be absorbed and just pee out. And people be subhanallah God and God's wisdom. And when some profesor be like 'sir, please be careful on spreading these info cuz that's not how our body work', she got blasted and labeled as a non-believers, or proof that getting higher education is to be corrupted and losing ur faith.
Which, yo muslim fellow, was I dreaming this thing or did Prophet Muhammad did actually said 'to pursue knowledge, even to China' ( i am paraphrasing this)? I can't believe how I was taught this at young age, as a girl, that it is very important for mothers to pursue education as highly as possible because mother is the first person children are gonna learn from. To be at this age of mine, where some muslims be dissuading muslim from learning higher. Like what?! Actual religious muslim man be telling me I shouldn't get a master degree because no man would want to marry me. The muslim man who was taught like I was that every person on earth has their 'soulmate' that is predetermined before our birth by Allah. Seriously? He didn't even say that my 'soulmate' would not be attracted to me, which is how i know he was taught the same thing as me. He also went quite when I hit him with 'is he questioning Allah's decision and power over my soulmate? That a mere master degree will over overcome my predetermined 'soulmate' that Allah has chosen for me?'
(and yes, idk whats the English word for it so im using soulmate)
And no, he did not stop pursuing me, he just stop using religion as flirting method. He downright stop saying any religious thing around me, and straight on asking me on a date, as an 'uber' driver on my way home, at night, almost midnight, note: i was a restaurant waitress. That muslim getup really be accessories for him.
Wait, my main point is Islam lessons isn't as perfectly similar as alot of people believe. Like I said the islam lessons really be different. Like the foundation is the same, but the details differ.
One simple example is how I found out that English speaking country (idk which one) use he, him as god pronoun, when I was taught that Allah is genderless and is referred as ?substance? (idk the english term, just that Allah is not humanize ya know? Someone help me explain), and the mere thought of implying Allah's gender be a huge blapsemy (notice how i never use one) let alone using the pronoun he,him. But honestly I figured it's because english doesn't have neutral gender he/she/they like my language.
Also, yes I have a joke I thought when I first learn of non-binary people, but it is very blasphemous so i can not say it. Been hoping someone else say it, but alas I have not see it. :(

The Problem Isnt Just Trump. Its Our Ignorant Electorate.
For many of us, mornings have taken on a certain nauseating sameness. We roll out from beneath the blankets and, before the scent of coffee has reached our nostrils, we are checking the news feeds for the latest semi-literate tweet coughed up by the ranting, traitorous squatter occupying the Oval Office.
The rest of the day is spent in a kind of horrified suspension, holding our breath, waiting for whatever outrage will inevitably belch forth from the White Houseonce a bastion of seriousness and decorum, now ground zero for the demise of western democracy. How many lies will Trump spew today? Which dictators will he suck up to? Will he smear a Gold Star family? Attack a woman who dares to call out his smarmy predations? Unveil a puerile, racist nickname for a Senator or member of his own cabinet?
As much as we loathe it, however sickening it might have become, every day seems all about him, a former game show host and real estate failure, a hawker of rot-gut vodka and bullshit degrees from a fraudulent University who once styled himself as the Donald. The cable news shows lead with his most recent flatulence, the op-ed pages brim with intimations of doom, late night comedians are having a field day.
He is the president and, thus, bears watching. But we would be mistaken to think that he is truly the center of our universe, a man with a plan, commanding the heights, directing the action.
Virulent as he may be, Donald J. Trump is a symptom not the disease. Without us, he would amount to nothing more than what he had always been before the bizzaro presidential election of 2016: a foppish narcissist desperate for any measure of affirmation; a joke; a nothing. He did not create his voters. They have been there all along, seething with sometimes justifiable anger and suffering their various insecurities. They created and enabled Trump. And make no mistake, in all their vulnerable humanity, they are us: Gullible, compliant, distracted, marinating in irony.
At root, we the people are the problem.
We are understandably reluctant to impugn the intelligence and integrity of our fellow citizens. It is arrogant, uncivil, bad form. Who are we, any of us, to hold ourselves superior? When Hillary Clinton referred to some Trump supporters as deplorables, she was roundly castigated on all sides. How dare she? Yet it is an uncomfortable reality that anywhere from a fifth to a third of our electorate can be fairly (if gently) described as low-information voters. If the results of numerous polls and questionnaires are to be trusted, they know very little about the world they inhabit and what they do know is often woefully incorrect.
Surveys conducted every two years by the National Science Foundation consistently demonstrate that slightly more than half of Americans reject the settled science concerning human evolution. They are not unaware that virtually all credible scientists accept the overwhelming evidence that we evolved from earlier species. They simply choose not to accept that consensus because it doesnt comport with their deeply held beliefs. Many also embrace the absurd notion that the earth is only six thousand years old. Astonishingly, in the early 21st century, around a quarter of our citizenry seems unaware that said earth revolves around the sun.
It is a mistake to regard concern about such ignorance as effete snobbery or elitist condescension. While misapprehensions about basic astronomy, earth science and biology may have little impact on these folks daily lives, does anyone actually believe that similarly uninformed views arent likely to affect their grasp of policies regarding, say, climate change? Income inequality? Gun violence? Immigration?
Profound knowledge gaps like the aforementioned reveal an inability to think critically and leave a person vulnerable to all manner of chicanery. We are all ignorant about many things. Dont get me started on my dismal grasp of mathematics! But the hallmark of a sound education is not glorying in what you think you know, but, instead, appreciating the vastness of what you dont know.
If ignorance is the key that opens the door for charlatans like Trump, improved education, whether in school or in the public square, would seem to provide an obvious solution. But here we confront the perverse Dunning-Kruger Effect identified by psychologistsessentially, the less we know, the more certain we become of our superior knowledge. We have also discovered that exposure to facts and evidence does not always have the expected impact. Many people, when confronted by irrefutable proof that some core belief is incorrect, dont change their minds but dig in their heels. What feels right to them must be right and no amount logic and reasoning will dissuade them. Emotion trumps evidence.
Not too long ago, I fell into conversation with a woman aboard an airplane. Our chat somehow turned to health care. She offered the opinion that people who couldnt afford health insurance didnt deserve medical services. Why should she pay for someones care when they were obviously too lazy to earn their own money?
Because Im my own kind of fool, I rose to the bait. Did that mean they should be allowed to die in the street? I wondered. Well, no, she said. That would be inhumane. They could always go to an emergency room. So she was willing to pay for their care, I observed, but only in the least efficient, most expensive manner. This gave her momentary pause, but she quickly regrouped, simply repeating her prior assertion: Why should she pay? I didnt ask who she planned to vote for in the then-upcoming presidential election, but given that she had also voiced the opinion that women were, by virtue of their gender, unqualified to be news anchors, Im guessing it wasnt Hillary Clinton or Jill Stein.
She is hardly the worst example of an unthinking voter. Bill Maher once invited onto his show former GM Executive Bob Lutz. One supposes that such a fellow has benefited from an adequate education and that hes open to reason. Yet, when the subject of climate change arose, Lutz denied it was happening. A bunch of nonsense as far as he was concerned.
As it happened, Maher had also invited Neil deGrasse Tyson, an astrophysicist, educator and Director of the Hayden Planetarium. Tyson patiently explained why Lutz was misinformed. The planet was warming. Humans were largely to blame. This is how we know.
You might expect an educated person to respond by at least engaging on the topic. Tyson was, after all, vastly more knowledgeable on the subject at hand. Had their roles been reversed, with the topic being cars, I have no doubt he would have deferred to the automaker, asking questions, trying to improve the state of his own knowledge. Not Lutz. You could see him shutting down before Tyson had even warmed to the topic (no pun intended). As Upton Sinclair famously put it, Its hard to get a man to understand something when his salary depends on him not understanding it.
youtube
Anyone who has watched the focus groups of Trump voters has seen this sorry dynamic played out again and again. Everything, no matter how tawdry or malicious, is excused or minimized. You get the feeling these folks would accept the sexual molestation of teenage girls as a trade-off for Neil Gorsuch. In fact, many did in supporting Roy Moore.
Welcome to the Post-Truth Era.
Much has been written about the impact social media and the internet in general have had on how people receive and absorb information. By now, we are all familiar with bots, trolls, phony scandals and the tendency of folks to hunker down in their own info-silos. The old adage that a lie is halfway round the world before the truth gets its socks on has never been more salient.
Consider the recent attacks on one of the young Parkland shooting survivors. A teenager who had just witnessed classmates being gunned down at his own school quickly discovered that speaking up for common-sense gun regulation resulted in vicious trolling and the viral lie that he was a paid crisis actor. This was similar to what befell the grieving families of the small children murdered at Sandy Hook Elementary School in 2012. Imagine waking one morning in a state of searing grief over the violent death of your baby to discover that some odious prankster like Alex Jones is telling his gullible audience that the whole tragic incident was staged, that your child was actually a paid performer doused in artificial gore and posed in a gruesome tableaux of death.
That Jones and his ilk have not been thoroughly shamed and driven from the public sphere says a lot about our growing tolerance for vile nonsense.
Trump did not invent Fake News. The Big Lie has been the stock in trade of con men and tyrants since time immemorial. But he understands its value. Alternative facts as his lickspittle factotum, Kellyanne Conway infamously put it, has long been his metier. Hes a bullshitter, a phony and now hes our president.
This shouldnt have happened. But we let it happen, though Trump did have plenty of help
Unsurprisingly, the Fox propaganda machine and any number of right-wing radio ranters enthusiastically clambered aboard the Trump Train. They were abetted by many in the mainstream media who, mindful that Trump lured eyeballs to advertisers and too timid to call him out as the carnival barker he so obviously was, went along for the ride. A number of Republicans in Congress dismissed him at first. But when it became clear he had a shot at winning and that his devotees comprised at least half of their party, they scurried to adopt him as their useful idiot.
Its true that we are not all equally culpable. Roughly three million more people voted for Trumps chief opponent. But the right-minded among us didnt do enough to forestall the plainly looming disaster. The proof of that is the Trump presidency itself.
So, if we in our various incarnations are the problem, then what is the solution? Is there any way out? Wed better hope so. Whats certain is that its on us. We made a wreck of our government and its up to us to fix it.
There are positive signs:
A once compliant media has begun to take the gloves off. Genuine conservatives, outraged that their movement has been hijacked by philistines, are sounding the alarm. People are rising up and calling BS. For every Sean Hannity there is a Rachel Maddow, Jake Tapper or even Shepard Smith (at Fox News, no less!). For every Paul Ryan, there is a David Frum or Max Boot. Frothing crowds at CPAC are countered by the #MeToo movement and impressively eloquent teenagers fed up with politicians of any stripe who cower before the gun industry. On a good day, a John McCain or Jeff Flake will stand up to the cringing accommodationists in their own party. And, of course, Donald Trump himself, along with his corrupt lackeys, face a formidable foe in the person of Robert Mueller.
NSA Director Admiral Mike Rogers recent testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee should mark a turning point, though he merely confirmed what has been apparent for some time: that even as our nation is under attack from a Russia determined to subvert our democracy, the president has not directed any relevant agencies to defend the country. This is a violation of the oath Trump swore on inauguration day and smacks of treason. We have entered uncharted waters.
Whats clear is that we need to use all non-violent resources at our disposal to rid ourselves and our country of the dangerous infection spreading from the White House into our body politic. These are not normal times and our usual reflexes will no longer suffice.
Trump is a problem of our own creation. We must become the solution.
Ron Reagan is an author and political commentator who lives in Seattle and Arezzo, Tuscany.
