His behavior was problematic but never once portrayed as romantic at the same time. Katsuki said and did awful abusive things, and he also chose to be better when he was given the chance. If you’re still hung up on chapter 1 Katsuki now then I don’t think you’ve been reading the same story I have.

I can’t speak for everyone, but I’m not shipping Izuku with an irredeemable abuser. I’m shipping him with his most important person. His narrative foil. His childhood friend who made awful mistakes and then made it right when he saw he was wrong. The person Izuku looks up to and strives to emulate, despite their past struggles.

Bakudeku is so good because of how flawed these boys are, and how hard they’ve worked to get over it, and how much they matter to each other after it all

Sometimes when I’m writing my lbl au I get nervous and self conscious about how the different Link’s are written and I’m afraid that people won’t like it, but then I remember that it’s my au and I shouldn’t care what other people think and that they can suck it

anyway the scariest character in stranger things, to me, is neil hargrove

because not only is he such an accurate depiction of an abusive parent who gets away with their actions by making their child look like the bad guy

not only is he the definition of a wolf in sheeps clothing who has the ability to fit neatly into society while causing unimaginable pain behind closed doors

not only does he have the ability to control the people around him like puppets, pitting them against each other and essentially being able to create his own narrative through this

but he also gets away with it all

he gets away with it in the show, he gets to leave as soon as his number one victim dies, he gets to sound sympathetic when they give a reason for him leaving

but he also gets away with it in how people talk about billy, he gets away with it every time someone minimises the harm neil did and pushes the entirety of the blame onto his son, every time someone pushes the ‘billy is a bad victim’ or ‘billy deserved it’ lines, he gets away with it every time someone compares billy to lonnie, brenner and vecna and neil’s own name gets left out

there were absolutely no consequences for neil’s actions in the show and there never will be

and isn’t that all very realistic

It’s confirmed Max was the one who told nyck (long time friend!) to just call marko about the AT seat 👀 and I assume put in a good word. CH never even wanted Nyck, but Marko insisted. Imagine if someone else was put in AT…… Daniel would’ve never been able to come back that soon!! Crazy how things pan out

i know we talk a lot about classic daniel luck but this was fate conspiring in a good way. he was lucky to be put back in that seat! and when you go back even further like, the only reason nyck was put in that seat was because of daniel leaving red bull all those years ago, and red bull still struggling filling all their four seats… the dominos that fell because daniel left… how it turned pierre off from red bull forever… how it did alex… how it had other people hesitant to take that second alpha tauri seat……. and then daniel was back to finally fill the gap he left with himself like how crazy is that!
