I fully believe with my entire soul that Will was one pronoun correction away from being kissed by Mike in the van.

Like look at how Mike was lookin at him as it is:

That is the look of someone who is thinkin about a smooch.

Can you imagine if Will had actually said “you make me feel like I’m not a mistake at all, like I’m better for being different” ???

Legit do not see any scenario in which Mike doesn’t kiss Will before he even finishes, regardless of who was in the van. Like I honestly do not think he was even aware that there were other ppl in the van as it is 😭

Little headcanons for Lockwood & Co

Lockwood is a Star Wars nerd. Star Wars came out in the seventies which is around the time the Problem started so it’s plausible that there was time to get a couple of movies out before the economy became centred around iron production and other ghost-hunting equipment. It’s reasonable to assume that it’s fairly popular even in the Lockwood & Co universe. Anyways we see Lockwood do the Obi Wan pose with his rapier and I feel like that’s his inner nerd showing, because he tries to be cool and charming, but underneath it all his inner child is absolutely dying to wear fun socks and make Star Wars references.

George prefers coffee to tea but is Too Inherently British to admit it. He drinks tea because Lockwood and Lucy drink tea, and when they say they’re putting the kettle on and ask whether he wants a cup, he finds it too hard to say no. It’s just become a bonding thing for him that they all drink tea together, but while he enjoys it, he’s a researcher. He sits awake at night over his papers, researching for a case. He needs the caffeine. He is definitely more of a coffee drinker.

Lucy looks better in suits than Lockwood does. He is eternally grateful that she prefers not to wear suits, even at formal events, because she absolutely steals his thunder. One time Lucy came down to breakfast wearing a suit she’d thrifted just to see what Lockwood would do if she copied his style, and he was speechless. He was so shocked he dropped his biscuit in his tea (George found it hilarious). I feel like Lucy just prefers a casual, comfy style because suits are a bit impractical for getting in a sword fight (she’s convinced that one day Lockwood is going to get his favourite tie sliced to pieces) but if she wanted to, she could definitely wear a suit well.

I love the storyline where Alisha falls for future Simon and then present Simon can’t live up to his own self in Alisha’s head. It’s like a modern day Gatsby and Daisy but with super powers instead of parties and time travel instead of a green light.
