hi. ive taken this trip now. ive come out with new and controversial opinions on bus systems

im having a not great week. hopefully my wrapped is good.

Just saw an email from a professor saying she the class to meet in person at least 3 times for an ONLINE class…

I’d have to spend more money on transportation bc I was only planning on commuting to school twice a week and now she’s tryna make us come in.

AND I’d be there from 5:30-8:00 pm which means I wouldn’t get home till 9:30-10:30 pm… like school hasn’t even started yet and I’m already annoyed. I hated taking late afternoon/evening classes during the fall bc I had to wait for the bus in the dark and I’d come home hungry 😭. I purposely signed up for morning in-person classes and online night classes so I wouldn’t have to deal with this type of stuff smh.

Anyways I’m not gonna show up, I’ll just use the excuse that I commute to school and I’m not tryna spend extra money on bus tickets. This is my go-to excuse to get out of going on campus late at night (that and having work)

why don't buses follow timetables. why. that's the point of them. how am I ever supposed to get buses anywhere if they turn up whenever they want. it'd be a little better if the online timetables kept up with them but no. they only tell you when they are supposed to turn up not when they actually will.

me talking to my social anxiety like:

this will be great. we're gonna get a good grade in Taking The Bus, something that is both normal to want and possible to achieve. it won't be terrible at all. it will be v normal. v great. completely normal indeed

in like a month i'll be back living in london full time. sickening and horrifying

me and my friends are getting worse at planning our going outs which i think means we're becoming better friends

i need to do my hw and then go to sleep earlyish. it’s only the second week of school but i’m already becoming desensitized to my alarms. there’s 4 of them set for 5 5:15 5:25 and 5:30 i guess i should add more....? i can’t just keep adding alarms whenever they start wearing off but i don’t know what else i can do. the 5:30 is named “you are yjh. you ARE yjh. get out of bed” to try and encourage me to get up but it doesn’t work anymore. yjh is my babygirl but even he means little to me at 5:30 am. and that’s if i’m even awake enough to process the title most of the time i’m still half asleep and just turn off the alarm through muscle memory while not fully conscious. well good night everyone
