Is this how you do it- (Not a frequent tumblr user so) Anyways I'm in love with your writing and always look forward to reading new content from you everytime I open this app it's fabulous tbh. On a side note, I wanted to request the lookism guys with a s/o who loves to draw, is generally into art and just lives a normal life like going to college, travelling by the metro, staying up till 3 am to finish art school assignments or just homework you know. Gun Park x Reader: Masterpiece
Gun with art student!reader. You're creating your final assignment.
"What's this piece?"
"Wait and see."
Gun watches you move the oversized blank canvas, rearranging your paints and material. Preparing your little corner of his penthouse. Your studio, you call it. A spot he has cleared aside for you when you gasped at the lighting one afternoon.
Between your art assignments and Gun's job, any free time you have together is sparse - you both take what you can. A call here or there, sporadic messages, infrequent dates if both your schedule allows.
It only made sense for you to move in, to make it easier to steal time together.
Still, your final project looms on the horizon. You need to focus your time and energy on this for now.
Regrettably.
Because as Gun sits and watches you, tie hanging loose, top shirt buttons undone, hair casual and flopping over his eye, you think he looks good enough to eat.
Focus. You shake your head, redoubling your efforts to concentrate. Strike while the iron is hot; you're inspired right now and you don't want to fail an assignment due to an art block. Again.
Gun stays quiet as he observes you. Gracefully moving, pencil between deft fingers, sketching out your ideas.
There's a lot of things that Gun Park can do, but he knows he can't do this. His hands are better suited to create and mould other sort of masterpieces.
His eyes watch you as much as they do your hand. The crease between your brows as you work out the angle, nose wrinkling when it doesn't quite work out how you imagine. Tongue out in concentration, hair up in a bun and wispy tendrils caressing your neck.
He is in awe seeing the lines and shapes take form.

The buzz of Seoul softens at 3am when you finish a few weeks later.
You look proudly at your work. It may be your best one yet.
"Is that me?" Gun takes in the figure you have painted.
Suddenly shy and self-conscious, you nod. It's not the first one you've created of your boyfriend but it's the first one that he has seen more than a passing glimpse of.
Gun blinks at the canvas. Is that how you see him?
He studies the angle of the face, scar softened in shades of pink between eyes that should be demonic. Recognises himself in the pose, odd that it is comforting and protective rather than intimidating. The lighter shades of your paint strokes illuminates, frames him like a halo.
Gun looks at the painting and feels your love poured into it.
It's him all at once and not at all. At least not in the way anyone else could possibly see him.
"It's a masterpiece," he kisses you softly as you smile against his lips, "And you're mine."

Am I (20M) the asshole for trying to forgive an old friend?
We were super tight for years but suddenly he decided, idk, murder is bad or something (totally pathetic btw. Bitch boy move) and decided to leave in the most destructive, annoying way possible. I mean, seriously, I lost an eye! What the hell.
Anyway, I found him years later and decided to strike up a friendly deal instead of getting revenge for what he did to me, like the generous, genial guy I am - he steals something that should really be mine anyway, hands it over & I learn to forgive and forget, right? I didn’t even hurt him much to get his attention. Instead of completing the deal like he promised, he cursed me and ran away again! What a bastard. You’re all on my side here, right? Drawing the Rest of the Copy Ability Stars, Round 1!
I wasted a lot on this... so let's get this show on the road!
Yes, there are oh-so-many abilities that are canon in Technician Uprising, but HAL doesn't bother making ability stars for them. And so, as an AU owner... I have a full reign to design all of them! I am going to comment on each of them as well! Click down below to learn more about the process of making each star and what I think about the ability overall.
From top left to bottom right:
Balloon - The first one I draw overall (and the first ability fully illustrated, though I wanted to design Light fully first). This ability really just appeared in Canvas Curse, which is canon to TU, and due to a totally not secret plan of mines, I had to turn this into a full-fledged ability. Honestly. It just existed for Canvas Curse, so I hope the revamp moveset will give it a bit more versatility outside just "haha easier to control ball go brr".
Light - The MOST underused and underrated ability, FIGHT ME. God I love the concept of Light being used as a power but MAN. BIGGEST OOF FOR THIS ABILITY. Literally exists as early as in Adventure and was left for the slumps, never to be adapted. Watch as I make this a permanent use ability. I had to check the illustration of this ability in Adventure to get the icon.
Metal - Once again taken here due to a due to a totally not secret plan of mines. Honestly this is just Stone but Stone Change is always on. But I'll figure out what to do with it. And no, we're not using the scroll's additional ability, that's just Ball (which is also here in this round). I really just ctrl+c ctrl+p the icon from Squeak Squad directly.
Missile - Oh I would make this a Technician Mode... IF JET DOESN'T HAVE F^CKING MISSILE SALVO, making this ability UTTERLY OBSOLETE. Thanks HAL, but okay. Honestly it's pretty... eh. Maybe I haven't seen it too much in action. Also redrawing the Missile was. Hm. Okay I guess. I struggled setting up stroke thickness and setting since I'm limited to two colors and I don't want it to look weird, but the flame exhaust effect on the back is nice.
Bubble - I would make this a Technician Mode but at the same time I'm not so sure, it's already perfect enough to, you know, not change much... while the point of the modes is to EXACTLY twist the abilities' skills in a sense (at least for Technician. Idk. Most of Robobot Armor's ones are just normal attacks with bigger damage™ and that's it). Thank you Squeak Squad icons for saving me once again. Btw, Animal aside, this is my favorite ability in Squeak Squad. Though I'd change it to just trapping opponents in bubbles in my AU perhaps. Idk, turning them immediately to ability stars sounded... OP?
Ghost - Hahahaha spooky. I would also make this a Technician Mode... except I have an OC with Technician + Ghost with a rather complicated backstory, so, uh, no. I tried drawing a ghost, ends up just being frustrated because the proportions aren't right, but hey I did it!
Freeze - I cheated from Air Ride. Anyways, I guess I remember a Kirby gijinka artist (KirbyTardos, if I recall that username) who noted this might be more focused on defense, which I'll happily steal. Sir if you see this, I hope you're doing well, I should really check your comic series. Anyways... this one was supposedly fused with Ice nowadays, but whatever, it can co-exist I suppose. Trying to make it fancy but ends up giving up and settled for this.
Paint - Uhhhh... Isn't this just Artist? Nope! Decided that Artist and Paint are for two different specialties just like Ice and Freeze, in this case Artist is for precision while Paint is for R A N G E. I think their style should be differentiate too, with Artist you have the user having much cleaner, detailed art that needs thinking into it, while Paint is just. Graffiti. Go crazy. Go insane. Spread 387493743 splashes of paint to the wall of your neighbours!! I tried to recreate the icon in Super Star Ultra, but then I realized it looked wrong every single time and after more tweaking I just leave it like this. Could've done it better. Maybe I will revisit it someday.
Animal - Another one I could've done better I guess. Stealing again from Squeak Squad's icons! Tried adding a claw mark. Didn't work. F^ck. But oh well! ANYWAYS I LOVE THIS ABILITY HOW DID HAL DIDN'T ADD THIS TO FORGOTTEN LAND??? NOOOOO!!
Magic - Insert that one song from Milgram here. I love Deco*27. Anyways. Went simple with this one. Three cards and a magic hat that I stole from Squeak Squad. I also stole the colors of the illustration as we already have abilities with black and white ability stars and I doubt I can change em much to make it distinct. Yeah, yet once again taken here due to a due to a totally not secret plan of mines.
Ball - Ballin huh? You guessed it, it is, yet again, once again taken here due to a due to a totally not secret plan of mines. I don't think this one has to change a lot, it's just so goofy. I like its vibes, but I bet it will be a pain in the ass to use properly in-game somehow. Shoutout for Nightmare in Dreamland's little ability illustration for this. Also it's hard to design the ball icon itself so I went with a beach ball.
Laser - I kinda want this to be a Technician Mode, so we'll see this one with great interest! I wanted other colors but the illustration artworks only gave me colors that already exist or too close to other ability star's colors... then I realize that not all copy abilities have to share their outfit colors with the ability star, because Wing existed - it doesn't have blue but the star's blue-ish anyways! So I decided to go for pink, the color of the laser beam that was shot in the illustration!
Iron - Yes this is canon. Yes I will have to revamp this to avoid this being just Stone 2.0 but with deflect system, and in fact, I have made a full moveset from this long time ago! It's now a construct creating ability, creating simple things such as pillars and stuff. Still retains the "deflection with staff" technique and the one that reminds you of Stone Change... but I made the latter time-restricted rather than "as long as you hold it you're invisible" spiel. Anyways. The ability hat, as well as some iron blocks to hammer it to the point that HEY THIS ABILITY'S ENTIRE THING IS IRONS and not just "snek????"
Top - Went with green because that color is rare for copy ability stars, THANK GOD. It's also one that I purposely made canon because it's funny! Also young me already made a full-fledged moveset for this, thank f^ck. Tried to make it look like the top is tipping and gliding. And still spinning. Kinda looks smooth me thinks.
Baton - Oh god the ability's design itself is kinda mid imo but I'LL REDESIGN THAT JUST YOU SEE. Anyways. This is another one in the "so underused it hurts" category. For some reason the ability is one-use in the anime!!! Wow!! F^ck it!! Young me made a full-fledged moveset so WE'LL GO BY THAT THANKS. I went with pink... again... Or red... uh... I guess it's just pale dark pink, I used color picker on the staff don't ask. Tried to bring more of a Suplex vibe with a puffball holding the staff as if spinning it. S p e e n. I like the concept of the ability though, Motion Manipulation baby!
We might have more abilities on the go, but we'll see. I might move on to redrawing all Technician Modes after this. I'll also update the spreadsheet eventually with all these damn stars WAHOO.

not only do i have unorganized miguel heacanons but i have unorganized HOBIE ones too
i have unorganized random headcanons for all the characters i brainrot over these two are no different!!
identity headcanons first hehe:
hes trans. he probably diyed his hrt and also has top surgery somehow hes magic. (i also think he'd have tattoos over his scars, either super cool bat/devil wings or an intricate spider design on their whole abdomen cant decide ill draw it later 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉)
he, however, doesnt really have any specific sexuality or gender labels they feel like they fit into. theyre attacted to all genders of varying degrees but doesnt really put a label on it. he just exists.
also doesnt mind what pronouns you use for her. any/all. basically.

theyre very crafty and dabble in basically every form of art. music, graffiti, painting, sculpting (mainly with trash or scraps or random discarded items he finds, more on that later on), sewing, whatever. if he can learn to do it she will.

very emotionally intelligent, i feel like this is canon anyway but ill just put it out there, ze can basically sense if someone is upset.
LOVES ABSOLUTELY LIVES FOR talking to new people, will go out of their way to introduce himself to basically everyone, especially new spider-people she meets.
he is a bit of a joker, ofc, but he wont try and push boundaries that he clearly sees or hears from the person theyre talking to. hi people who hc him as being an unself aware dickhead shut up you are very wrong did you even watch the movie.
this one is probably my favorite but he will pick up random things he sees around him and keep them for art projects. cool rock on the sidewalk? its a rock, hes gonna take it. funny lookin bug? might pick it up for a little to look at it and put it back in a safer spot. bottle cap? "mine now". like i said before he likes using litter to make art.
he will stop mid-mission if he sees something cool that he can take home like "oh [riff] cool leaf" and put it in his pocket.

this stealing of random objects from all around the multiverse has caused many lectures for miguel (they arent listening)
they have some kind of control over what texture/color they turn into if xey really think about it but most of the time he just kind of.. lets it do its thing. (sort of like a RainWing?)
shockingly good at vague yet oddly specific threats that are unrealistic but if you really think about it it's like "oh yeah he could totally do that..." but she wouldn't. yknow what im saying right???
while he does live in the 70s where technology was uh... not as popular nor as advanced as they are now, he's aware of modern tech through Gwen, Miles, Pav, DEFINITELY through Margo and Miguel, but she doesn't really use it often. doesnt really see the point.
along with that he also is aware of modern music as well, he has mixed feelings (gwen is probably the biggest influence though she is such a Pinkshift/Paramore/My Chem girlie it hurts to think about)
100% collects record of artists, especially smaller artists, that they like.
if you get them going about music he will talk for HOURS. HOURS until you tell him to shut up, even though fae totally wont listen and will keep going anyway. (just like me teehee projecting is fun <3 )
while hobie does use his guitar as a weapon for some reason he is quite protective of it. they wont try and stop you from touching it or playing it, but he will watch you like a hawk. half out of "oo look another person is interested in guitar" and the other half of "👁️👁️ dont break it i can only do that /j" (a lot of musicians are like that, i would know, im one of them. ha)
loves stray animals. cats, dogs, birds, anything. he will stop to pet them if they let him.
he also will talk to cats like any other person. especially spider cat. spider cat could make a cat noise and he'd act like he understood it. "yeah totally man, i get it. meow."
he can sing like... averagely? he has a good sense of pitch and timing, as most musicians do, but she isnt professionally trained or really does it too often
they will scream though
also really likes messing with makeup and bodypaint. he will spend hours on it if he can.
FUCK I AM SO HAPPY I DIDNT POST THIS IMMEDIATELY BECAUSE I KEEP REMEMBERING THINGS ACK HERES ONE LAST ONE POST THIS AFTER ASH I SWEAR (edit from two weeks later: i forgor): he definitely isnt a morning person. he loves to sleep in. definitely values rest, like a lot. miguel will call him at like 7 am and hobie will flip him off and say 5 more minutes when they really mean 2 more hours.

Get toasty for The African Ice Caper!
Late again. Whoops. I swear I have good reasons. Anyway, super excited for this!!!
Lets-a go! Notes under the cut as always :)
First off, since I forgot the title last week, let's take a stab at it! I super love this title. It's a play on words in some ways; it refers to the literal "ice" meaning the diamonds they find in Botswana. But using "ice" also refers to the aftermath of Stockholm and how Carmen is dealing with the consequences! Cool shit!
Overall beginning thoughts- I LOVE this caper. It extends that whump/angst from Stockholm ever so much and ACTUALLY DEALS WITH CONSEQUENCES!!! I love when shows carry over serious events!!! Even with S1 finale -> S2 opener there wasn't much aftermath of Carmen's fight against Brunt (two weeks? really? she healed from that in two weeks?) but they DELIVERED here
This caper is just all aftermath, consequence, and effect. Carmen makes the decisions she does in Botswana to call in ACME because of their rescue in Sweden. They've proven themselves to be trustworthy (for now) and as Chief said a valuable ally. However, without Carmen calling in the cops, Roundy would never have been alerted and the mines would never have been blown up. It's all so delicate and interesting, and opens, for the briefest of moments, so many pathways for options- good and bad. I'll get to more stuff later but let me actually start commenting on the episode now
it's a terrifying moment but I can't help but laugh about Zack and Ivy's cover story being that Carmen is a shitty driver and they are right
while I also understand that it's the fastest way to convey information why did the nurses just let them seize the gurney and start sprinting back into the hospital with her without even knowing what happened
but okay. man. carmen's eyes just barely being able to open and see what's happening before she slips into unconsciousness again is so damn good
why does she have an oxygen mask on btw she was freezing not suffocating can anyone inform me on that
he's family 😭 happy day after father's day yall he's dadowsan official now
AUGH. her face kills me every time she just looks so vulnerable. but like she's trying to tell him that she's okay
i love found family but the nurse must have been confused when this 20 year old argentinian lady's family turned out to be two white american teenagers and a forty year old japanese man

that quick shot of ivy ducking down and checking carmen kills me every time augh
i love this quick, rough but getting smoother dynamic player and shadow-san get with taking the capers while red is down. i also LOVE that they took this opportunity to move into and decorate the warehouse further. it becomes home while carmen recovers
also the way carmen is barely ever awake is just so. augh
OOOH CARMEN'S DREAM i love this scene. there are so many little tiny things to pick up on before the brunt reveal that it's not real: ivy's voice waking her but ivy being nowhere in sight, chief not having a pen to beam from, chief not being able to activate pens from her end, etc. the first time i saw this, though, I was totally fooled. i was like ohhhh shit chief??????
btw have i ever talked about the sound design on chief's voice? her real voice intertwined with mechanical/digital noises that sometimes even blot out parts of words that just sell the illusion that she's coming from a speaker
god the way carmen jumps as soon as she hears brunt's voice ugah
the dutch angle on brunt to sell the fact that this is WRONGWRONGWRONGWRONG MM its so good
and carmen's pupils contracting when she wakes up mm
LOOK HOW HARD DEVINEAUX HAS BEEN WORKING GO SIR DO THAT PAPERWORK
that little side glance devineaux gives to see if he sold it thats so funny
and the sad sick face dropping off his face for an evil little grin he's literally so funny
"roll of red yarn" has become another one of the phrases I just repeat over and over it lives rent free in my brain for some reason
he's crocheting a little carmen hat and coat for his pet cat
the music going really sinister and lowkey a little concerned as soon as it reveals that devineaux's got this crazy ass conspiracy board
the callback to the very first capers devineaux/julia reeled off in the pilot!!! (plus boston tea party of course)
the shot of devineaux tacking up papers on the "camera" is one of my favorites, so fun
carmen has so many kettlebells what the fuck
man i love how you can see the wave of exhaustion hit her like a truck. she's not even close to a hundred percent still, but she's "relaxing makes me fidgety" carmen sandiego so of course she's up using the punching bag
oh hey also one thing about this episode is i dont think i've ever realized but it spans over a TON of time. like, maybe a month?? more?? girlie doesn't trip and slam her face on death's door and then get up and go work out in a week
ALSO WAS THIS THE FIRST APPEARANCE OF CARMEN'S WORKOUT OUTFIT?? SO GAY ABOUT IT THANK GOD THEY BROUGHT IT BACK MORE TIMES
augh also you can hear the frustration in carmen's...not exactly voice because she's just kind of panting but she does this little scoff/growl/ugh that just shows how annoyed she is that she can't do this like she used to and that it still hurts

alright anyway what a top tier episode. in spirit stockholm, african ice, and deep dive are a three parter and the next episode is just the payoff to EVERYTHING im so excited. they seriously went so hard on s1 and s2 and by producing them basically together they are so fucking solid man i love it

Sup guys, gals, and non-binary pals~!
I’ve decided to go against my parents’ (totally not better) judgement and use my self-taught art skills to do FREE commissions for people! (I used to do this all the time on TikTok about 2-3 years ago, so I’m completely serious about the free part.)
(Btw, when I say commissions I basically mean I’ll draw any character(s) you want [Oc or not your own] and post a pic of the finished product along with a mention and a thank you!)
Now! For the rules: (these have a chance of being changed at any moment, so make sure to stay up to date)
1. Characters: As of right now, I do not have a limit of how many characters I can put in one picture HOWEVER if you ask for 3 or 4 or more, I will most likely have to make it a digital piece. (I do digital 15”x11” and traditional)
2. Media & Traditional/Digital: My traditional pieces are done in my sketchbook with prismacolor lineart and all coloring is done with alcohol markers (mostly Copic). My digital pieces are done on Procreate (15”x11” with a max of 68 layers).
3. Styles: I have one style which is basically detailed realism turned into cartoon. This style only shows usually the shoulders and up of a character (or occasionally torso and up).
4. Page Amounts: Every commission is default one page no matter the amount of characters. However, I do have one other option for the more detailed style-if you want a bigger drawing/want to see more of the character (ex. torso and up) and have me using traditional media, I am willing to use two pages for the product. (Example will be given.)

I started this concept last summer and it worked great because I had a bunch of free time, however that is no longer the case for me. I might start up commissions again at some point within the next few months or when summer starts again. Thank you to all of those who received an order from me, and I apologize to those who are still waiting on theirs. I’m not sure if I’ll be sending an apology message to those people stating that I’ll have to cancel the commission, or if I should keep attempting to find the time and motivation to do their pieces. I might appreciate some help deciding. Thank you.

Totally not me projecting. But imagine the spider person is like top agent. Most reliable spider person in the entire Spiderman HQ. Everybody loves them and if they're on your team you know you're gonna come out on top.
But the minute the words Hobie or Brown are mentioned in their general vicinity it's over for everyone. Now they can barely even walk straight. And don't even think about asking them to strategize a plan at that point.
Miguel had to ban all use of the word Brown. An alarm goes off whenever a Hobie is on site so that way the other spider people can escort them out of the room discreetly. This almost never works tho because it seems like their spidey senses seem to go into overdrive. The last time they were in the same room together so much happened that words cannot describe the amount of chaos that their interaction caused.
After a while they get used to him but they're probably vice president of the Hobie fanclub. (Second to the lovely Ms. Disco.)
(I may or may not be adding these traits to my Spidersona as we speak um.....)

Disco works a more boring job at HQ like Margo - delivery woman on skates - and is always trying to get them into situations where they can run into him and flirt with him kjdghfdkg or steal parts for him
Hobie like a true anarchist would of course see it as an opportunity for chaos and use the Hobie Brown FanClub as such, trying to seek them out just to see what happens
and it works EVERY time - which Gwen and Pavi find hilarious, so he ropes them into it too.
he could say the wildest vaguest anarchist things and our sonas would still be like 'omg so true, facts'
Yours would be out on special op missions or mines going through important files and he'll still find a way to pop up and be like 'right whats all this then' just to catch them off guard

another question for Funsies; how did Quintor end up in the neutral territories?? I've entirely forgotten how it works in canon but don't they have to light leap to get there? or is it kind of more he just Popped up one day and cyrus was like 'he's MINE don't question it'
(i'm totally gonna forget about the questions about josie's design so I'll just leave this here as a reminder to myself to send those cause i have to go to sleep lmao)

ok so Quintor had a physically abusive father who pushed him to hard to young to be a soldier, and would physically punish him when he didn't do enough and a push over mother who didn't stop her husband from harming their child. but he had to deal with it because his father was a respected soldier and no one could imagine him hurting his son. when Quintor mentioned what was happening at home people thought he was lying for attention and it just made the abuse worse.
when his father died in battle protecting his soldier when he was 9. he thought it his father was put in the hall of hero's and deemed a amazing man and was idolized by the community. Quintor had to deal with people constantly asking what his father was like, and how lucky he was to have such a hero as a father, how he had quite the legacy to uphold. one day he blew up and screamed at his mom about how his father treated him and how he wasn't a hero and how he was nothing but a fake. his mother scolded him and told him that he needed to respect his father and that his father was only doing what was best for him.
at 10 Quintor decides he had enough and steals a random crystal to the neutral territories from his parents bedrooms and takes a tent, some weapons and food and light leaped to the neutral territories.
he lived on his own for about a week, then Cyrus found him trying (and failing) to hunt a deer, Cyrus killed it for him and told this tiny child that he would help him skin it and break it down of he came back to his camp, and it took some arguing but eventually Cryus convinced him to come back to camp for just one night and he literally never left 
how the conversation kind of would've gone down under the cut because the way im writing it is gonna be long
Cyrus: come on kid lets go back to my camp, ill teach you how to skin it and break it down,
Quintor: no i don't want to you're not my dad
Cyrus: well then, ill take my deer back to my camp and share it with my sisters
Quintor: its not your deer!!
Cyrus: i killed it, you didn't, and if you want me to share you're gonna have to come back to camp with me because i don't have my hunting gear with me and can't break it down
Quintor: *angry 10 year old noises*
Cyrus: you coming or not
Quintor: *sigh* yes im coming
(back at the camp)
Quintor: i thought you said you had sisters?
Cyrus *gestures to the twins sitting by the fire*: yep they're right there
Quintor *looks between Cyrus and the twins*
Quintor: but they're elves!
Cyrus: so what, family isnt blood kid, its what you make it
Quintor:
Quintor: you can choose your family!!!
Cyrus: yep, *hands him a bar of soap* now go wash up in the river, you smell like death
Quintor: yes sir
(after Quintor runs out to the river)
Calista *cooking dinner*:Cy, who was that?
Cyrus: some kid i found in the woods
Calista: yes but whos kid is it?
Cyrus: i don't know but hes mine now
Calista: Ida, Cyrus just found a child in the woods and wants to keep him
Idelia *not even looking up from her notebook*: finders keepers
Calista: that doesn't apply to children
Cyrus and Idelia: it does now
Calista: so does this mean we have four months to feed now
Cyrus: well im not about to leave a 10yo alone in the woods im not your council

This is a really old idea of mine, I hope you like it^^"
Melban au where Ban is an infamous pirate captain, plundering all kinds of ships, but usually leaving the people on them alive, because "killing them all is such a hassle. They can't do shit anyway, just leave them be." This is pretty unconventional for any pirate, so most people don't take him seriously, and some even doubt he's a real pirate (mostly in parts where he's never been to). The marines do take him pretty seriously though, because he steals a LOT, which seriously disrupts trade of any kind.
In this au, Baltra would be the leader of the marines with Zaratras being his second, and Mel is also pretty high up on the ranks.
So because Ban has never killed anyone (not directly at least), Baltra wants to try to convert Ban to their side, since a pirate is also an experienced sailor. Mels job in the whole thing is to convince Ban to do just that.
The problem: they can't confront him, because they've tried that and Ban has shown no interest at all.
BUT there was a time when Ban had laid anchor in a port city where Meliodas also happened to be and they met, Mel being out of uniform, so Ban had no idea he was a marine. And Ban actually flirted with Mel and while Mel obv couldn't tell his superiors, he was interested in Ban.
So Mel proposed a strategy. Since Ban knows him, and seems to like him, while having no idea he's a marine, Mel is to infiltrate Bans crew and convince him to switch sides. He's gotta be sneaky while doing it though, so Ban doesn't get suspicious, because even if Ban probably wouldn't kill him, being a pirate, he won't be too keen on having a marine on his ship.
And to get Mel on Bans ship, Mel gets put on a ship as a lowly sailor, lowest in the ranks, the kind that just scrubs the deck all day long (I'm not familiar with the terminology^^"). Ban will then raid that ship and either take Mel with him (as a "prize" if you will) OR Mel will beg Ban to join his crew of his own free will, if Ban doesn't take him.
The plan is put into action and Mel gets "abducted" by Ban, who takes one look at him and decides that he must have him.
I haven't thought too much about Bans crew, but considering how "harmless" many people think he is, instead of scary, I doubt he'd have many people. People that he cares for, if only to make sure they're satisfied and don't mutiny. And he takes extra special care of his "prize" (that prize being Mel) and spoils him a little.
Mel is so flustered that he almost forgets about his mission, because even though Ban is a pirate, he kinda seems like a good guy once you get to know him? And when Mel asked him why he became a pirate in the first place, Ban responds, "Why? To get rich, of course!"
And all the while Mel is trying to nudge Ban into the "right" direction, he can't help falling in love with Ban.
As for background, I don't really have much. Ban became a pirate, yes to get rich, but there's probably more to it. Same for Mel, he might have a dark past in this au or something, idk what it would be though.
(And this can totally be an nsfw thing btw, I have nothing against that.)
Ooh this sounds like such an inventive AU!
I think that there would be some sort of personal reason as to why Ban became a pirate. Maybe his former lover, Elaine, was killed or kidnapped or taken by the marines for some reason.
And maybe Meliodas' family were pirates, and Meliodas didn't want that life for himself, plundering and looting things that didn't belong to them. When he tried to tell them off and say that what they were doing was wrong, he was put on an island with little food and just one bullet in his gun.
Meliodas was eventually saved by Bartra and his crew, seeing the smoke that he created from a fire.

Title: Riya's TRUE IMPREZA custom car look - No 1
On Oct 26, 2018 (Friday), decide to go to my current arcade at the current mall I've went (Quantum Amusement Arcade, SM City North EDSA) to play more Wangan Maxi Tune 5DXPlus for continuing Riya's "TRUE IMPREZA". So I made a HUGE update for her "TRUE IMPREZA"! 🔧🚘😁
• That being said, here's an example part of my huge update for Riya's "TRUE IMPREZA" as you can see the picture above. After I manage to win three opponents , one of which was the G Special Ghost Armored Car (please don't ask questions and click that link → [CLICK ME!]) in Online Ghost VS Battle, It seems her stats has just gone leveled up. And not just that, but also my earning points as well in the game. So now I decided to buy some item parts to suit her taste and the result - It's cool and amazing look for her"TRUE IMPREZA" car. Although, there are some few item parts that need to be unlocked but hey, we have to work hard progress until her final look will be revealed very, VERY SOON.
So but for now, this will be her best looking custom car, so far. 🙂
BTW: Here are the item parts that I purchased at the gaming terminal (good thing I listed some names and types):
• GT Wing (3D) 1 ; Costs: 5,000 Points 🔧🪙
• Aero Parts C ; Costs: 12,000 Points 🔧🪙

Riya 🐰🏎️: Yes sir! BUT, as of 2023, my "TRUE IMPREZA" was still in solid "WR Blue Mica" without my signature dual pink stripes, Man, I missed that. The only changes I made are the muffler and wing spoiler, which are now fitting to my "TRUE IMPREZA"'s taste! 😀 Otherwise, it is the same as before, dude! 😊 I can't wait to race it again, but I have some tasks that need to be finished.
