What great questions. I would love to answer 'em both.
Oh, I love my nephews Morty and Ferdie. They're just so fun and energetic and every time they come over and visit, I just know that my day is about to be 100 times more interesting. They can sometimes... get into things they shouldn't. But I also was a mischief maker back in the day, so I have no standin' to say anything. In fact, I actually see a lot of myself in them. Just like me, they can go overboard sometimes. But they also have hearts of gold and are usually clever enough to fix it, or at least know when to get help. That's usually when I come in 😆.
I know the boys can sometimes seem as if they are the same person, but they're pretty different. Morty, who tends to dress in reds, is definitely the more rowdy and brave one. He's usually the one findin' the trouble in the first place 🤦. But it comes from a strong drive for life and so much excitement for what the world has to offer. He has such big dreams and hopes and honestly, I hope he goes far. Unfortunately, he doesn't always think through what he does. He tends to run into things head-first and without warning, but he has good instincts that help keep him safe. And a lot of times his spontaneity is just what the situation needs 😉.
Ferdie, the one wearing more blues and sometimes wears glasses, on the other hand, is more shy but is extremely smart and mature for his age. He's usually the one being dragged into trouble by his brother🤷, but I think he enjoys the adventures they go on, just as much as his brother. They help him come out of his shell and be more prepared to face the unknown. He prefers when things are more planned out and can be hesitant to unexpected changes. But it is because he cares about havin' a good future. He was just askin' me about good colleges yesterday and he's not even in high school. He has a very bright future ahead of him and I cannot wait to see where he goes 🌞.
As for your second question,
I'm actually currently workin' as a Detective for the Mouseton Police Department. And honestly, things seem okay so far. I used to have another job, but they weren't treatin' me right and wouldn't let me grow in the ways I wanted to. It was tough movin' from that job as I genuinely thought that it was my dream, and revolved so much of my early life around it. But it wasn't makin' me happy, and I kinda think I misattributed some of the positive experiences I had with my sister, who is still workin' in that field, with my feelin' towards the work. Honestly, it can be tough figurin' out where you belong. And even I still feel like I haven't figured that out yet
Luckily my new job is definitely a step up. For starters, the people I work with are much better. I was already pretty close with Chief O'Hara as he was my neighbor growin' up. He tends to be very supportive and even recommended me for the detective role (even though I think I might be a bit underqualified, I didn't realize how high rank of a position it was 😓). But he says he trusts my skills and convinced the others that it was a good idea. So I guess I better not mess this up. There's so much pressure.
Though I mostly work with the other two detectives. Brick can seem a bit intimidatin' on the outside. He's pretty big. But you'll soon learn that he's neat once you talk to him. If you ask questions 'bout Texas, he'll be your best friend in an instant. Though be prepared to listen to him for hours, haha. Casey on the other hand... Well... He can be a bit of a... challenge sometimes. I think like me, he's also under a lot of pressure, and that causes him to be a bit stubborn and hesitant to get help. He apparently was really strugglin' with cases before Brick and I came into the picture and it probably felt like an attack on his pride when we came to help. But I think he genuinely cares and wants to do a good job. And with the right push, he can do a swell job.
However, it isn't just the people that make this job a step up. I actually think I am enjoyin' the work more. There is just something 'bout investigatin' and solvin' crimes that clicks with me. Every time we get a new case, I don't wanna put it down until I have it all figured out. Maybe O'Hara was onto something when he hired me. And even better yet the work I do is actually helpin' people get justice which is what I really care about. I've always wanted to make the world a better place, and I feel like I'm doin' my part with every sinister scheme I stop and every person I help.
Though, I can't say everything is perfect. While I do enjoy my work and the people I work with. There are quite a few elements of working with the Police Department that... I am not sure how I feel 'bout. It's honestly hard to talk about. I just don't want O'Hara to feel like he made a mistake. But I also want to make sure I'm doin' the right thing.
But hopefully, that answers your questions! 😄 This was pretty long, but I wanted to give you my best answers.

So I think I may make my Mickey Askblog account, somewhat connected to my fanfiction. He won't be a straight one for one, but some of the lore will be the same.

Sorry, I don't mean to be rude. It's just... I've had very bad experiences with both of these "gentlemen". They are some of the slimiest rotten villains that you would hate to meet. I guess it would be good to answer your question, so you know why you should avoid them at all costs...
First up the "Green Lawyer" which I am sure you are referrin' to the deplorable Sylvester Shyster. What do I even say? He's a corrupt lawyer who abuses the law to swindle innocent people and try to evade consequences for his criminal activities. Did you know that he tried to steal Minnie's inheritance? And after she trusted him as a friend too. Yeah, I know. And that's barely the tip of the iceberg. There's almost no end to his depravity. He'll do anythin' to get a quick buck, even put multiple people's lives at risk.
If he ever offers you any legal services, SAY NO!!! I'm not jokin'. He'll try to come across as someone trustworthy, but he's not. He'll somehow find a way to screw you over and take all your money. It's best to ignore him, or even better yet report him. I honestly can't stand people like him. People who just see others as potential targets to squeeze every penny from. I can't even imagine how he sleeps at night.
And now for the "Inky Dog", I know exactly who you're talkin' about. The wretched evil that is The Phantom Blot. Him. Well the most important thing you need to know about him is ...
I mean to say that he's ...
It's just that ...
Sorry. It can be hard to talk about him sometimes. I have had some... intense... experiences with him and while he's not the only one who I struggled with... With him, it just feels different. I don't know how to explain it. He just feels so... off. He's unsettling in a way that is hard to describe. He masks it pretty well with his "charisma", but once that mask starts to slip... Well...
... He kinda scares me.
It doesn't help that he is extremely conniving and can make devices and schemes unlike the world has ever seen. Every time I know he is involved in something, I just feel like I have to be on high alert. He always manages to surprise me. And not in a good way.
I guess what is most important for you to know is that he's extremely cruel and manipulative, and will do anything, anything, to get more power and control. I wouldn't recommend tryin' to deal with him. It's not worth getting entangled in his traps, both physical and mental. He's a wicked monster with a stone-cold black heart made of coal... Then again, I wonder if even that's true. Sometimes I feel like there's still some humanity in him. A part of him that does know better... I kinda feel like that makes him worse.
Regardless, I think it's important not to be afraid of him. That's exactly what he wants. He's not as invincible as he tries to appear. He's not unbeatable. In the end, he's just a guy. Just a guy in a cloak. And just like any guy, he has, can, and will be defeated.
...
But seriously if you happen to catch either of these two in suspicious activity please alert me or the Mouseton police. We'll do our best to try and take care of these scoundrels.
Perhaps this is a blessin' in disguise. I could use this as an opportunity to keep an eye on these two and keep them out of trouble.

How'd you come across Donald and Goofy?
Y'know, your two best friends, I mean you have a lotta best friends but they're the best of the best!

You're definitely right that Donald and Goofy are my best of best friends. Whenever we're together, I feel like I'm part of an unstoppable team. I couldn't have asked for better pals.
I actually met Donald when I was a part of the Junior Woodchucks when I was much younger. There was a regional summer camp-off where Junior Woodchucks from all around Calisota would meet. They had us split into groups of two, as sort of a buddy system, and guess who I was paired up with... Not Donald. It was another kid actually. But he ended up getting sick and had to go home early. So I was then paired with the only kid without a buddy, Donald.
We initially didn't get along as we butted heads and pulled some pretty nasty pranks on each other. We were both kinda troublemakers 😈 if you could believe it ha ha. But when the Official Junior Woodchuck End of Camp Competition rolled up as well as some potential sightings of Bigfoot, we learned to put aside our differences and work together... We didn't win or even see Bigfoot. But I think we got something even more valuable 😉. After that, we found that we actually had a lot of similar interests, like cameras and fishing. And we've been friends ever since, writin' letters to each other or even visitin' each other's hometowns.
I know some people like to give Donald flak for his temper or his bad luck. But he's one of the bravest most hardworkin' people I know. I believe a lot of his rage comes from the fact that he cares so much and wants life to be fair not just for him, but for everyone.
As for Goofy, I actually met him a little bit later. Goofy is a little bit older than us, so while we were teens, he was a young adult just startin' in life. He actually worked as a janitor at the high school and college I went to. To be honest, a lot of people saw Goofy as well... goofy and didn't give him the time of day. But that never really discouraged him as he was always confident in who he was and was friendly with everyone he met.
Unfortunately, I hate to admit I was kinda in that crowd who didn't really see much in him😓. What could I say, I was a teen just followin' the crowd. But one day I was down in the dumps at school and you wanna know who came to comfort me. It was Goofy. It was at that moment that I found how truly wise, kind, and dependable he was. He just knew exactly what to say and was even willin' to drop everything and help me out with the problem. After that, I started to treat him differently and we quickly became close friends. I even help him babysit Max when he came into the picture 😊.
Honestly Goofy is a friend I really need at times. Whenever an issue seems too complex to handle, he somehow can find the simplest solution where you wouldn't even think to look. He also has such a huge heart and is willin' to do anything to support anyone in need.

Tbh I think of Epic Mickey's Blot (Even though he is technically a different character) because Rorschach feels more monstrous and magical while the Phantom Blot is just a guy in a costume.
I also want to add that I like that you seem to be focusing on his intelligence as that was a key part of the original. It is arguably what made him so scary despite not really have any supernatural abilities because of how quick he could think on his feet and the type of stuff he could create.
Though I do wonder if you are going to have some of his greed or lust for power like the original. The original Blot and in many of his interpretations seems to crave more power and control whether that was through fear or through wealth. Would your version be like that with magic, or would you go a different direction?

This is a very interesting take on him. I like the idea of taking the DT17 and making him a but closer to the original.
He definitely varies from comic to comic, but the Phantom Blot definitely is sort of a gentleman thief (with a little bit of Moriarty, Batman, and even Tony Stark depending on the comic). His love notes are an underrated part of him.
But I like the idea of his inky form being a curse. And him stealing magic is more of a survival thing. I think I am getting a bit of Epic Mickey Blot as well (which you did reference in the picture above)

I honestly really love the idea of the Phantom Blot having an incredible singing voice (as if he was professionally trained 🤔). I also am into the idea of him singing mostly love songs in sort of an ironic morbid way. Sort of adds to his "romantic" element of him.
But as for what specific songs he would sing. I actually do have a list of some songs:
