It was past midnight and the apartment was enveloped in silence. You couldn't hear anyone talking in the living room, meaning everyone was asleep.
To be able to enjoy a quiet rest in this place was rare. Midnights are the most bustling hours, when everyone gathers to discuss “important” business until early in the morning, before leaving for whatever they have to do.
Considering this, you could have had a nice sleep for once… if it wasn’t for the rain storming outside.
A sudden thunder crash caused you to abruptly wake up in the middle of your dream— Your heart thumping quickly against your chest and your breath coming out in heavy gasps. You felt disoriented for a few seconds until you eventually calmed down.
Usually, storms don’t scare you, in fact, they’re quite enjoyable along with a lecture or a movie, but not now when you're alone in your room and in the middle of the night, surrounded by the darkness and with your vision barely helping you to perceive your surroundings.
Among the dark, shadows shape into tall monsters lurking from the corner of your room, seemingly waiting for the right moment to lay their ghostly hands on you before disappearing after each lightning. The brief second of luminance makes you realize that those shadows are just that, no one was going to actually hurt you.
Yet, going back into the land of dreams was difficult under these circumstances.
You tried by closing your eyes, ignoring the “monsters” and the loud rumbling of the thunderstorm, and taking deep breaths to calm your unsteady heart but you just couldn't fall asleep. The unsafe sensation wouldn't go away, perhaps until the sun rises again.
However, you had some kind of idea that could help you sleep.
You sat on your bed for a while, contemplating the storm through the window that doesn't seem to end anytime soon and trying to gain the courage to leave your room.
Maybe this idea wasn't the best one you could have, but it was the first thing that came to your sleepy brain, and it's not like you were in the mood to think of any consequences due to what you were going to do.
With a light groan, you leave the comfort of your bed and grab your fluffy pillow in between your arms. The wooden floor cracks under your feet as you make your way to the door of your room then carefully opening it, peeking through the small gap, making sure no dangers are around before stepping outside.
Luckily, the hallway was slightly illuminated with one lamp that hung from the ceiling— The old wooden floor cracks under your deliberated steps as you make your way to his room. Once you stand in front of it, and just as you place a hand on the knob, another sudden thunder makes you jerk in surprise.
Was that a sign from God to not do this?
Without properly rethinking —also too tired to think of any potential risks— you twist the knob, and immediately your eyes land on his sleeping peaceful form; almost completely wrapped with a blanket but letting you see his face. His lips barely parted and his eyelashes rested over his cheeks.
It's not every day when you see Fyodor sleeping on a comfy mattress…
Until now, you had always seen him working day and night underground, sitting in front of his bright purple monitor screen and typing away weird codes or messages that seemed impossible for you to deceive. And if he was not working underground, instead, he was taking a stroll through the city or drinking tea in some restaurant that picked his curiosity.
But sleeping didn't seem to be like a normal activity for him to do.
“To what do I owe this pleasure, hm?”
Fyodor's groggy voice makes you snap out of your thoughts. Now he’s looking at you with a gentle smile as you stand on his doorframe, gripping your pillow awkwardly as you wait for some type of permission— And almost as if he’s reading your mind, he motions for you to come closer with his hand.
The mattress sinks under your weight as you get into the bed and place your pillow just beside his. Wasting no time, Fyodor wraps his blanket around your frame. And it takes some time for you to realize that he's gladly sharing his personal space, which adds to another unusual thing he's doing tonight.
“I couldn't sleep.” You mutter, as he pulls you closer.
“Why's that, dearest?”
“The storm…”
A small chuckle escaped his lips, finding adorable the fact that you needed company just because of a mere storm. Though, he knew the answer even before you said it.
One of his hands —usually cold— is now warming up your cheek, cupping it and rubbing small circles with his thumb as if to soothe you, to tell that he’s there for you without any words needed, simply light touches and whispers shared in between the two.
And for a small second you return the gesture, gently tracing the dark circles underneath his eyes as you scan his features; his thin eyebrows, his purple eyes, and his nose before finally stopping at his lips— His lower lip a little bitten and red.
Unconsciously, your own lips twitch upwards as your mind clouds with the idea of kissing every inch of his pale skin, having him softly laughing underneath you.
To hide your smile, you rest your head against his chest, pressing your ear to where his heart is. The soft thud makes a gentle symphony, a calming sound, that allows any tension left in your body to slip away. Fyodor’s presence fills your senses, making you forget about the rain violently storming outside. Something pulls you closer as your arms wrap around him.
Fyodor doesn’t complain of the proximity, instead, his slender fingers play with your hair, twirling it around his digits or untying knots that were made while you were sleeping before the thunder strike woke you up.
It’s not a surprise that your eyelids eventually start feeling heavy, with all the sweet caresses and the warmth provided, your body is ready to resume your sleep, enveloped in the most comfortable shelter you could ever ask for—
“Oh…”
One of Fyodor's hands cups the back of your head tenderly, pulling you flush against him as if to avoid someone from snatching his most precious thing.
“…What’s wrong, Fedya?” You want to pull away, but a high-pitched giggle comes from behind you, accompanied by the sound of rustling the sheets.
Seems like we have company.
“What are you two doing sleeping without me? That's mean… Leaving a friend out is not nice, dovey.” Nikolai grumbles as he climbs to the bed, lying on his side and hugging you from behind, “Why not come to me when the storm startles your peaceful sleep, hm?
The jester seems not afraid in the slightest to have physical contact with Fyodor, or anyone really…
You can feel his hand removing Fyodor's from your head before he nuzzles against the crook of your neck; the tip of his nose brushes up and down your skin purposely to tickle you. Oh, how much Nikolai loved hearing your giggles as you squirmed around his bear hug, it made his heart almost beat out of his chest.
“I do not recall asking you to show up in my room, Nikolai.” By the tone of his voice, Fyodor doesn't seem pleased with the additional company taking space on his bed and ruining your peaceful encounter.
Nikolai’s hands trail up your ribs, and without any warning, he begins tickling you— not stopping even as you try to pry them away among laughs.
“Dove, you’re not gonna make me leave, are you?” He whispers against your ear, voice whiny and you are almost completely sure that he's pouting right now, hoping you at least feel pity for leaving him out, “Tell Dos that you want me to stay…”
But just by eyeing Fyodor, the answer is more than clear on his face. Refuting his words to let Nikolai sleep with the two of you is most likely ending with you and the jester being kicked out.
“C'mon, C'mon! You're scared of the storm, aren't you, birdie?” Nikolai pecks your cheek and pets your hair dramatically. “Poor baby! Shouldn't we help this frail dove together, Dos?”
“There's no need for that.” Fyodor's patience is going thin.
Nikolai clicks his tongue in annoyance, sitting up on the bed with his arms crossed like a child and glaring at Fyodor for a while, trying to convince him just by holding eye contact until he gives up, knowing there’s no room for negotiating.
“Fine, I'll leave… Gosh, you're such a killjoy.”
As he slips out the bed, muttering curses under his breath, Fyodor sighs and pinches the bridge of his nose. It's not the first —and definitely not the last— time he has to put up with Nikolai’s behavior.
God blessed him this time, it seems. He didn't need to make too much of a fuss to make Nikolai leave.
When the door opens and the jester intruder is ready to leave in order to resume the calming moment that Fyodor was truly appreciating, instead of leaving, Nikolai throws his arms up in the air excitedly.
“Dear Sigma! What a great surprise!”
The casino manager stands in the doorframe, rubbing one of his eyes. It appears like his sleep was interrupted as well.
“Uhm… Could you guys keep it down, please? I woke up because you're so noisy and I'm trying to—”
Sigma didn't have time to finish speaking before he was dragged by Nikolai, tugging on his sleeve and pulling him to the bed. Fyodor’s bed. Then pushing him down to the mattress as if he was nothing but another plushie added to the collection.
“Gogol! I didn’t come here to have a sleepover!” Sigma complains, rolling his eyes before meeting your gaze, and giving you an awkward smile.
Then meeting Fyodor's.
Something didn’t seem to add up.
“Am I… missing something?”
“This little dove needs our help, my dear friend! You see, the storm ruffled their lovely feathers so they needed to shelter in our embrace.”
Sigma raises an eyebrow at the jester’s words, and even if he's stuck in this —unwanted— situation it's not difficult to understand the message. He sighs, lying back on the bed and holding your hand, “It’s going to be okay, angel.”
He gives your hand a reassuring squeeze before bringing it to his lips and placing a soft peck on the back of it. He cares about you more than he hates having to deal with Nikolai.
The four of you managed to fit in Fyodor's bed with little space in between. Nikolai's head is now resting on your chest, him in between your legs, his arms around your waist. On the other hand, Fyodor and Sigma were lying on each side of you, either playing with your hair or stroking your hand. Any soft touch brings you closer to dozing off.
Fyodor mutters a small apology because of his "friends" behavior. His fingers graze your palm before he locks his fingers with yours as well. Silence slowly begins flooding the room; you feel perfectly safe with them around, so you close your eyes, letting your body relax.
“Oh! I have the greatest idea, how about we have a sleepover and do our nails and—”
“Nikolai.” The three of you called his name almost as if grounding a child; making the jester frown and pout.
You couldn't suppress your giggles, thinking that this might be the first —and the last— time you'll have the three men from the same dangerous organization sleeping together in the same bed only because they care about you, in their own way.
The storm slowly fades away, forgotten in the warmth of their embrace.
When waking up the next morning, you'll have to face the pain in your limbs from being entangled around them… And wondering how you and Fyodor ended up in between Sigma and Nikolai's hug.

Hello, Hello!!
I hope my request isn't much of a burden-- however, I was wondering if you could do a one-shot with the decay of angels(Fyodor, Nikolai, and Sigma) with a male reader who has white wings?
Quick rundown for the idea;
The reader is the leader of a different organization called the Aviators; the Reader doesn't exactly have an ability but they do have wings-- the reader and their group side with the Armed Detective Agency because reader is heavily in love with bringing people to Justice, like the Decay Of Angels; however, something goes wrong and the reader gets captured while the three DOA members figure out what to do with them.
You can choose if it's more yandere-like or violent, I don't mind, really!! I usually write requests longer but I'm in a rush <\\3

These wings bind me | Bungou Stray Dogs x Male Reader
Characters: Nikolai Gogol, Fyodor, Sigma
Summary: Those wings you had didn't even grant you freedom
Warnings: Yandere behavior, Gore, Obsessive behavior, manipulation, death, kidnapping
Taglist: @nightshade-clown
A/n: This is very Nikolai heavy because I am biased. Also, sorry, the wings aren't mentioned as much
Tumblr media
Y/n was a big name in Yokohama, well, a moderately big name. He was a well-known justice bringer with his group called the Aviators. It was a group of people who thought everyone deserved freedom and the choice on where their wings take them. Some of them were like Y/n, with giant wings granting them flight through the sky.
But some had abilities that helped with bringing justice into the world. Y/n heavily believed in bringing justice to everything that tried to inflict on it. The Aviators seemed to be of decent popularity that even the ADA sought them out as an extra branch. The two organizations were seen as partner groups, essentially.
Y/n still did whatever he really wanted under his association, but he would give the ADA extra people when they needed them. The same went with the ADA sending the Aviators people when they required them. It was quite the relationship between the organizations. No one really expected it, since Y/n was more about vigilante work and the ADA worked with the government in a way.
But here is the leader of the Aviators, analyzing a case with some of ADA's best detectives. Dazai, Kunikida, Autsushi and Y/n were all lurking around the crime scene, looking for any form of evidence to link anyone or anything to the scene. Y/n was with Atsushi, as not wanting to deal with Dazai's shenanigans or Kunikida's harsh comments. Atsushi and Y/n were decent acquaintances and worked well with each other.
The two made basic small talk as they searched the crime scene and conversed with passerbys to see if any of them were a reliable witness. Atsushi left Y/n on his own to look for something, though Y/n didn’t know what. He was on his own, just standing out in the open, it seemed pretty safe with the amount of people around. However, there was something off, and Y/n felt it.
Something in him made his white iridescent wings fluff out in anxiety. None of Y/n’s associates were near bye, and that worried Y/n. No one was there to protect him if something bad were to happen, well, something incredibly bad. Y/n could fend for himself, he knew basic martial arts, but against ability users all he could really do was fly to avoid as many hits as he can until back up comes.
Y/n wasn’t completely helpless, but he preferred being with someone who could save him if he were in trouble. Y/n didn’t only feel just one pair of eyes on him, but multiple. They were watching him, marking his move and every twitch he made. But Y/n didn’t know who was watching him.
Just as the paranoia subsided, Y/n was swept away from where he was standing. The kidnapper knocked him out, and everything else was blurry in his head. Atsushi came back only to find where Y/n stood was blank. He wasn’t the only one who was worried, however.
Atsushi went to his two fellow co-workers and told them what had happened, both seemingly hid their panic on the inside. Those other pairs of eyes that kept a close watch on Y/n left, to find their dearly beloved Angel. The crime scene was left barren by both the ADA and the Decay of Angels. Both were on the hunt to get Y/n back.
Sigma, Nikolai, and Fyodor looked everywhere in Yokohama, all the places they knew Y/n might have been taken. But there was no luck, not until a few days later. It was late at night, and the three DOA members followed some of what passing witnesses said they heard or saw a couple of days before. There was a tiny sliver of hope in all three men.
Nikolai was the first to step into the abandoned shed that rested near a busy roadway. It was covered in foliage and trees, keeping the whole building a secret, or so it seemed. Nikolai, however, paid no mind to any of that, only focused on finding his Angel. Fyodor and Sigma only followed Nikolai, keeping the white haired man at a distance.
The two didn’t trust anything about this place. They were prepared for any form of attack from anyone. Nikolai wondered in, carefree, not caring about anything else other than his Angel. The three stopped in their tracks as they heard metal bars swishing around.
Nikolai ran in deeper into the building, stopping to marvel at the sight of a beautiful golden cage. What quickly knocked him out of the trance was the iridescent, feathered wings of his Angel. Nikolai felt angry that someone would do this to his Angel, no one should cage his dearly love up like this. He jumped up against boxes that were stacked to reach the cage.
Y/n was startled by the sudden stop of the cage he was trying to escape from. He looked outside the bar with teary, enraged eyes. He was met with piercing blue gray eyes that streamed raw anger, yet there was love that trickled lightly. Y/n was left so confused as he just stared deep into the eyes that looked back.
Y/n didn’t notice two others walking into the room that held him in the golden cage. The metal shined slightly with the whisps of moonlight beaming through the cracks of the wooden roof. Sigma glanced up to see Nikolai gazing at Y/n, holding the cage still. Something wasn’t right about the whole situation.
Fyodor felt the same as Sigma as the two shared a knowing look of imminent danger. They stood back to back, covering each other's blind spots. Nikolai used his ability to bring himself into the cage. Y/n was taken aback by what this man did, why bring himself into the cage?
Nikolai crouched down to meet Y/n’s face, a sickly smile graced his face. It unsettled the winged boy, he tried to move out of range, but he was stuck to the floor of the cage. He felt the touch of Nikolai, and it increased the anxiety that floating in him. He brought Y/n into a warm embrace, his smile not ceasing from his lips.
Nikolai gave the other two men a knowing look, and they nodded in agreement. The kidnapper seemed to notice the three and came out of the shadows. Their eyes gleamed with insanity, their laughing was incoherent to the three men and Y/n. Y/n’s fear was practically spilling out of his body, and Nikolai noticed.
“Don’t worry, my dear Angel, we’ll set you free!”
Y/n felt disgusted by that nickname, coming from a stranger. There was so much going on, he didn’t know what to make out of anything. Nikolai covered Y/n’s ears and brought him even closer to him. He silently whispered to him.
“No need to be scared, my Angel. Everything will be okay. You’re safe now! Sigma and Dotsoy have it all covered!”
Just behind Y/n, Sigma and Fyodor were fighting the kidnapper. Their anger was shown in their attacks, and it was scaring the kidnapper. The hood fell off, and it showed the face of the persecutor. Y/n glanced behind his back slightly and gasped as he saw the face of his kidnapper.
“How did you find this place?! I was sure I kept everything out of the public eye!”
Sigma’s face stayed flat, but his emotions were clear to both the kidnapper and Fyodor. Nikolai was too busy with Y/n and comforting him to even notice. Fyodor managed to immobilize the assailant, pinning him to the ground. Sigma walked closer, as he bent down.
“It’s easy for us to find what we want. Now you will pay for stealing from us.”
Sigma looked at Fyodor with an approving look. Y/n and Nikolai were watching from the cage, Nikolai waiting for a change to get Y/n out of said cage. He gripped Y/n harder, to a point it hurt, but he didn’t want to let the h/c haired boy go. Blood splattered everywhere, as Fyodor used his ability to get rid of this pest.
Y/n wasn’t shocked about the death and red soaking everything around him, but it amazed him how easily someone would end other's life. He has killed others before, but only because they were hurting and taking other’s freedom. Nikolai scooped Y/n into his slender arms, hopping out of the cage, unknown to Y/n how he did, but Y/n couldn’t get out of his grip. Y/n was then surrounded by Sigma and Fyodor.
Y/n tried to stand, but his legs were still asleep and he collapsed. Sigma caught him, being careful of his white wings. As Sigma stroked Y/n’s h/c hair, loving how it felt against his fingers. Fyodor was busy taking care of the dead body, and Nikolai was gently touching Y/n’s wings.
Y/n looked up at Sigma, with watery eyes glistening the little moonlight that let itself into the cracks. His lips quivered a bit, fear still settling in his heart after a traumatic event. Sigma brought one of his hands to cup Y/n’s cheek, wiping away tears that threatened to fall. Y/n’s voice was sweet and soft to the three men that surrounded him, they all slightly blushed, feeling honored to hear it.
“Why did you come and save me?”
Fyodor came back, gently walking to the side of Y/n. Y/n’s e/c eyes looked at Fyodor, he stopped slightly. Oddly enough, those e/c eyes froze Fyodor right in his place. He sighed, trying to keep Y/n’s eyes on him.
“Why wouldn’t we? We adore you, my dear.”
Y/n was so confused and look to all three men. He didn’t know who any of these people were and why they were here. The silence filled the building, making Y/n even more uneasy. He wasn’t sure what was going to happen to him.
Y/n looked back to Sigma, hoping he could bring himself to ask the most important question. For some reason, Y/n already knew the answer based on the grip Sigma had on him. The more Y/n slightly struggled to get out, the harsher Sigma’s grip became. The hope Y/n had was slowly diminishing.
“Can I go home now?”
The quiver in his voice was noticeable. Nikolai slightly hugged Y/n’s back as a big grin once again found its way to his face. He was noticeably giggling, seemingly finding the question Y/n asked funny. He brought a hand to pat the winged boy’s head.
“Oh, my dear Angel! Of course not! How else are we supposed to keep you safe if you go home? We can’t watch you every day now, can we?”
Y/n’s eyes widened, more questions and confusion were swirling in his head. Before Y/n could speak again, he was knocked out once again, but this time no one would come to save him. Fyodor carried the winged boy out of the building, leaving NIkolai and Sigma to walk behind him.
Y/n woke up in a dark room, nothing but a bed, a desk, and a bathroom as all that filled the room. The bit of light came from a small lamp on the desk. Y/n panicked and ran to the door, trying to open it, but to no avail. His wings fluffed out in panic, feathers falling due to the amount of stress Y/n was under.
Y/n fell to the ground, trying to hold in sobs. He was so busy with trying to not make a lot of noise, he didn’t notice the three people that came into the room. Y/n froze, feeling arms snake around his body. He frantically looked around and recognized the people as the ones who saved him.
Sigma looked down to Y/n, seeing the fear in his eyes. It did something to him, he cupped Y/n’s face and brought his lips to Y/n’s. Y/n’s e/c eyes widened with fear, but for some reason he couldn’t bring himself to push Sigma away. Fyodor and Nikolai kissed Y/n’s cheeks softly, trying to calm the boy down.
Sigma spoke up, his voice was warm and loving.
"No need to worry anymore my doll, you are safe now. No one will take you from us. Never again."
Y/n choked back sobs. He didn't understand what went wrong. He remembered being with Atsushi, and somehow it came to him being caged once more.
What irony this was, wanting to bring freedom to others and not having any of his own.

The 'God', The Masochist, and the Crazy Scientist
I just found out that I'm anemic that's why I'm so frail and pale :'(
I twisted the plot a little
I actually don't know if Bram is made from human experimentation but I did it anyways.
TW! Explicit Language, Death, Human experimentation, Murder, Slight Yandere, Gore(?), Straight up crazy scientist, Slight suggestive content.
Pairing: Nikolai Gogol x Reader(you) x Fyodor Dostoevsky
Synopsis: F!Reader joins the DOA as their doctor because of her ability and piqued the interest of a certain clown and a person with God complex.
F!Reader has a personality like Mobius (Honkai) and Reader is a little unhinged
You were a normal doctor in Yokohama, working overtime. Now you were sitting across a wanted terrorist, offering you a job in their notorious group.
A few months back then the Port Mafia's boss, Mori Ogai came to your office to make you an offer to join them. You had great intelligence, but mediocre at combat, though you worked as a normal doctor, you had an ability: "The Souls of the Damned". Your ability allows you to bring the dead back to life through souls, but as the saying goes: an eye for an eye, it was the same for your ability, a soul for a soul. You must sacrifice an alive soul to bring back the dead. Soul Manipulation, is a better description of your ability; you can manipulate souls per will, to identify an ability user's soul they have a certain color in their soul's core. If you will bring back a dead ability user, you must exchange another ability user's soul. You owed favors from Mori Ogai, so you brought back dead people for him, he of course gave you the live souls. Yet, you didn't accept his offers. Which leads you back to now:
"Hello, miss Y/n" the Russian says from across the table.
"Well.. May I ask why you are here sir Fyodor?" you asked, offering him tea.
"Hm? Hibiscus?.. Though it seems you have already known my name." He said drinking the tea quite impressed.
"Of course.. Fyodor Dostoevsky, known as the face of The Decay of Angels." You said
"I have an offer to make for such an intelligent individual such you." He chuckled amused by you.
"..What is it?" You asked sipping your tea.
"Work as the DOA's doctor" he explained which piqued your interest.
"Hmm.? Why would a terrorist group full of powerful and dangerous ability users need a normal doctor like me? You sarcastically said raising a brow.
"Well.. To be precise we need your ability.. "Souls of the Damned" he smirked sinisterly sending shivers down your spine.
"Oh? What would I get in return?" You asked. There was no need to feign ignorance, he already knew it all.
"Advantages, and equipments for your experiments" he explained.
"Haii.. Same offers with the Port Mafia.. I must say it was quite a let down" you sighed dissatisfied. His eyebrow twitches from annoyance, yet still kept his facade.
"Then.. What do you want in return.?" He asked
"Guess it. After all, you DO believe you are smarter than me, don't you sir Dostoevsky?" You sarcastically said.
"Information."
"What.?" You said, eyes widened.
"You want information about THAT book" he said.
"Huh."
"Well I look forward to working with you Dostoevsky-kun" You said sitting up with him smirking.
He sat up and offered you a handshake, a very suspicious one. In every human body you can see their soul's color; normally a soul would be gray or slightly darker but his... It was pitch black. His soul's core was bloody red, the core is supposed to represent the ability; red, it means death. For him to offer you a handshake means he may kill you, yet it only excited you even more. You smirked accepting his handshake. When your hands met, his eyes could only widen, you were still there in one piece, alive and breathing.
"Your ability is as interesting and powerful as they say." He said pulling away. You could only chuckle in response.
"How rude of you Dostoevsky-kun.. already trying to kill me" you pouted sarcastically. He smiled in return, not a friendly one, the one that says "your correct" yet a little sinister.
"Well I must go.. Come here tomorrow" he said giving a piece of paper. As you opened the note, he closed the door. You could only clench your fist on what was written there.
"Сволочь..." You muttered. The note was quite unique, it's one that you have to decipher until tomorrow afternoon.
You spent the entire night, deciphering the note.. Actually you didn't, you put a tracking device on him earlier. As you looked at your computer for his location, it looks like he stopped at a certain building until he probably saw the tracking device and tossed it away.
The next day passed and you had no intention of actually coming to the building, because Fyodor found the tracking device it was most likely that you came but being the little bitch you are, you didn't. The afternoon passed and it turned into evening, the evening passed and midnight hit. You were taking a warm bath after you came home from your shift. As you finished bathing you noticed someone's presence in your home. You dressed and opened your laptop, water was dripping from your washed hair. As you typed, you got sick of the presence chuckling in the shadows so you decided to close your laptop and speak.
"Why do I owe the pleasure of you being here?"
Creeping up from the shadows, he finally decided to show himself, Nikolai Gogol.
"You're just as perceptive as Dos-kun said!" He excitedly said suddenly appearing beside you. As you took in his form, he was very tall. When your eyes met his, it was quite unique.
"As I said earlier, may I ask why you are in my home?" You raised a brow.
"Ah! right! I forgot about that part! Keke!" He chuckled.
"Dos-kun is annoyed because you didn't show up earlier!" He shrugged sitting on the table beside you.
"Oh.? He would actually be there?" You asked intrigued.
"Hueh?" He blinked twice not expecting that to be your answer.
"Since you already know the location by tracking him.. Let's go!" He said pulling your wrist to him as he put a cloth to your nose and mouth, drugging you. You passed out and fell on him as he chuckled.
"kekeke, works every time"
You woke up in an unfamiliar room, sitting up, dizziness caught up to you, your vision was very blurry, you looked around and there was Nikolai Gogol sitting beside you with an unfamiliar man.
"Maybe you added too much drugs onto the cloth.." A man with white and lilac hair could be seen uncomfortable and concerned.
"nah! I'm perfect at estimating! Keke" he replied. As you groaned in response, your vision finally became clear.
"See! She's awake already!"He exclaimed feeling proud.
"Are.. you okay.?" The other man asked feeling bad about your condition.
"Ugh.. Yeah.. I mean he could've used cholorform instead of Fluothane! tch!" You glared at Nikolai still feeling dizzy. He could only blink in response and chuckle while the other stood still.
"Let's start with introductions first shall we?!" He excitedly said.
"I'm Nikolai Gogol! My ability is Overcoat!" He exclaimed.
"I'm Sigma.. My ability is 'information exchange ability'.." help I don't know the exact name of his ability Sigma said looking away; as you observed him, he looked uncomfortable with Nikolai.
"I'm Dr. Y/n L/n, My ability is "Souls of the Damned". You said.
"I look forward to working with you Y/n-san!" Nikolai exclaims. Sigma could only nod at best.
Eventually, you met everyone of the Decay of Angels; including their leader, Kamui. Though you always tried to read everyone you met, you didn't try to read Nikolai; you didn't know why yourself but suddenly you felt reassured with him, Nikolai took noticed of that too.
You did experiments at your will and it all involved your ability so they gave you 'souls' or to be exact alive humans per your request. During your experiments Nikolai came for some unknown reason, during this time too..
"Hey~~ Dove~" He teased going down your lab stairs.
"Nikolai.? What are you doing here?" You were puzzled.
"I told you to call me Kolya! Hmph!" He pouted.
"...Fine.. Kolya" You murmured
"Finally!" He said jumping to you.
"Now what are you doing here?" You asked turning your head back to your experiments
"Well.. I was bored!" He exclaimed.
He took notice of the three bodies on the experiment table and asked:
"Hmm.? Why do you have three bodies here? Don't you usually do two?" He asked.
"I'm currently trying to bind their souls together then use the third body as a host" you explained putting your hands on the pockets of your blood stained lab coat.
"Well it's certainly bloody here!" He said looking around.
"May I watch?" He asked
"..." You still kept your cold poker face, you sighed and muttered a small "yes"
"Yay!" He celebrated and turned back to the side.
As the man strapped to the table awakens, he started struggling against his restraints and muffled screeches are heard from the other. This man was certainly interesting, his ability allows him to turn anyone to a 'vampire' immediately, that's why he has cloth on his mouth. The other 'patients' woke up and screams could be heard. You took the soul of the man on the side, it was an inhumane ability; one that grants immortality, he can't die. As you took his soul, his body slowly fades away turning into cold flesh. The man on the middle was a little calmer than the others, after all he did make a deal with Kamui. As you grabbed your knife you slowly made incisions as he groaned through the cloth. You took his soul as the man slowly became unconscious, your eyes widen at how pure his soul is. Taking both souls you binded them with the movement of your fingers. Crimson light covered the room as you laughed maniacally. In your hand was a soul, two pure and impure souls mixed together. The soul still has a core, it was crimson and in the middle was yellow; immortality and power. You succeeded, glancing at the body of the man, you caressed the soul, a sinister smile appearing on your lips. You controlled the soul at your will, as you slowly inserted it to the body of Bram Stroker.
With the insert of a soul to the unconscious body, he quickly awakens sitting up and groaned
"Hah! Finally!" You laughed forgetting the presence of Kolya.
The scene was watched by Nikolai until the very end. He was mesmerized by your beauty and craziness. Every flick of your finger, he felt his heart beating. Everytime you gave him attention and patience, you interest him. Every chuckle of yours, he wanted the be the reason of your chuckles and laugh. Everytime you smiled, he wanted that smile to be his and his only. He wanted you.
He was snapped out of his thoughts when he heard your laugh. He smiled at the sight of you, bloody, messy hair and laughing maniacally. Now he noticed where you were looking, a man with pointy ears and crimson red eyes. For some reason Nikolai craved you your attention.
He walked closer to you, without you noticing. He applauded at you catching your attention. When you turned at him he was so close to you, your head facing his chest at how close he was. You turned your head up to make eye contact with him.
"Ah.. Kolya..." You murmured.
"Why hello Dove! I'm certain you forgot my presence since earlier!" He said with a playful facade.
"..." You looked away to the side. Without you noticing Nikolai shot Bram a cold glare in which he didn't notice.
"Anyways let's go! I have to make the experimentation records!" You said grabbing him by the hand, oh how excited you are. Your usual demeanor was replaced with happiness and excitement. His eyes widened at you holding his hand, you weren't looking at him so you couldn't see his blush. His attitude completely changed and kept his facade on.
"Then let's go to Kamui first! Keke!" He laughed and held your hand leading you to Kamui's office.
In reality, Nikolai didn't do that to see Kamui; he did that so he can hold your hand longer. After all, Kamui's office is very far from your lab. Minutes passed as you two walked together, hands intertwined, now you were Infront of Kamui's office, only when you were supposed so knock at the door did you notice you holding hands with Kolya. You took your hand away from his and cleared your throat to try and keep composure. You knocked on the door and entered not even looking at Kolya, you were too much of a blushing mess to look at him. You had a friendly conversation with Kamui, then as you told him about the experiment being a success, he's expression was full of sinister, not that you did mind.. As you lead him to the lab, you didn't see Nikolai perhaps he decided to annoy Sigma at the Sky Casino. The experimentation was a success, Kamui took in charge of Bram so luckily you didn't have to take care of a vampire. You did the records and most was fine. You had quite fun with Fyodor by playing chess and cards with him, he of course wins by a point or two much to his delight. He didn't find you as bothersome as back then in your first meeting. Sigma... was quite scared of your antics and you being a mad doctor but most of the time he finds you quite comfortable with.. in his eyes you are better than Nikolai, because you aren't THAT crazy like him; For Sigma you are the better choice than a masochist with God complex who calculates his every move. The DOA got used to you being company to them, and you got used to how weird each member is.
A few months passed since you joined the DOA and Nikolai became more flirtatious and he initiated physical contact a lot. You and him kept on friendly terms as he refused to accept the lingering feeling he has for you. Eventually you learned more about The Book. You didn't plan on using it or anything, you just planned on studying it and maybe making a few writings on the book if you can, it depends on the possibility of getting the Book. After learning that Sigma was from the book, you were absolutely... pissed.
"Fyodor.." You barged into his room with a glare.
"Y/n.. What brings you here without even knocking.?" He raised a brow shifting his attention from Nikolai to you.
"I need to talk to you. Privately. Five minutes at minimum" You looked at Nikolai as he pouted. Fyodor nodded at Nikolai and he sighed, standing up from the table, he left closing the door.
When he left Fyodor stood up and walked over to you. You clenched your hand and grinded your teeth. He stopped Infront of you and lifted your chin up with his hand. As he took the sight of you his was a little shocked. You always tried to keep composure, you never really shared when you're angry, you just had a cold face, yet now you were certainly angry trying to calm down.
"Now. tell me what's wrong милый?" He asked you coldly.
"Why didn't you tell me..?" You muttered.
"Hmm.?" He asked raising a brow.
"Why the fuck didn't you tell me about Sigma being from the book?!" You snapped clearly angry at him. After snapping at him Fyodor was certainly pissed yet kept quiet.
"Huh. You knew from the fucking start since you made me that offer a few months a ago.. Сволочь." You hissed. He suddenly grabbed you and pushes you to his desk.
"Ah! Fyodor?!" You exclaimed. Now your back was on his desk, he was on top of you holding your arms above your head. He placed his leg in between yours as his face started getting closer to yours.
"I really don't appreciate you screaming at me like that, Дорогой.." He said with a low tone.
"Besides.. You never asked did you.?" He whispered in your ear. You chuckled before swiftly switching positions with you now on top.
"Fyodor... How could I know.? After all you did not fullfil the terms of the contract did you?" You said to him leaning on his face.
"Or perhaps.. You're not a man of your word?" You seductively whispered leaning on his ear as he snapped. He pushed you away and pinned you to the wall.
"You really do know how to piss me off, don't you Милый?
"Ugh.!" You groaned as he tightened his grip on your wrists.
"Stop with the nicknames Fyodor, I'm not your 'love' or your 'darling'." You hissed. He leaned to your neck and chuckled.
"Whatever you say Моя любовь" He exhaled his warm breath hitting your neck.
"mmh.." you huffed.
"Stop resisting me Любовь.." As he leaned closer to your neck. He stopped and looked at you for a second. You were looking up at him, wrists red from his grip and his body leaning close to yours, for him your current state was a sight to behold, his favorite part was your glistening lips. As he leaned in, you turned your head to the side. He held your wrist together with his right arm, as his other arm made it's way to your chin grabbing it. He forces you to look at him and as he leaned to your face, the door barged open.
"Alright! Time's up!!" Nikolai halted when he finally saw the two of you. Fyodor let you go, as you stretched you arms; he grabbed you by the waist and whispered to you:
"We'll continue this later милый" He pulled away from you and gave you peck on your head.
"Whatever" you glared at him walking towards the door as Nikolai stood still and Fyodor smirked at you. The door closes and Nikolai was there facing the door.. speechless. His expression darkens and his fist clenched as you left.
