"Dang, Mal, you've really scraped the bottom of the barrel with this one," Jayne said, looking down at the cage full of Jack Russell Terrier pups. "Although I heard there's some good eatin' on 'em for sure."
"Jayne! That ain't right!" Kaylee scolded, kneeling next to the big cage.
River giggled when one of the puppies licked her finger.
"Can taste freedom. Tastes like cornmeal."
Jayne glared at her, his hand straying to his gun.
"You keep yer mouth shut crazy-"
"Jayne, your mouth's moving. Might want to do somethin' 'bout that," Mal said, glaring at the merc. His eyes were hard and his hand was already on his gun.
Jayne threw Mal one last look before he stomped off, shouldering past Simon. The doctor glared at him before joining his sister at the cage.
"Wash!" Mal yelled to the pilot standing above him on the catwalk. "Set a course for Cassia. The client wants their goods before the week's out."
"And don't the rest of you have something else to do?" Mal added, looking at the group huddled around the crate.
The three kids shook their heads and turned back to playing with the yapping puppies.
Mal shook his head and slowly made his way to his bunk.
Sometimes the bottom of the barrel held all the treasure, Mal thought, gently patting Serenity's hull before he dropped down the ladder. Laughter sounded from the cargo bay and the Captain smiled. Just look at what it brought him.

A collection of my Skibidi fanfics
These links all point to my own website - if you prefer reading on AO3, all pages have links to their versions on AO3 and anywhere else they might get hosted.
Unless indicated otherwise, these are all SFW, barring a few swear words.
Reader helps to perform maintenance on Titan TV and then enjoys a cuddle-pile with the engineers inside the Titan's core chamber. (~3.4k words)
This was the first fic I wrote for this fandom and the first fic I'd written in nearly 20 years, so it's less polished and considerably shorter than what came after it. I still think it's kinda cute! I first posted it to Tumblr and was surprised and delighted by how people said I should put it on AO3.
Reader gets to watch Titan TV's upgrade installation + testing (at some point before the events of episode 67), and hang out with a few TV-units they've not met before. (~7.5k words)
This was the first time I included Polycephaly in a fic (and the TV Matriarch, come to think of it). They were only meant to be a cameo, but oops, a giant sweary TV is super fun to write!
Some fluff/angst/comfort. Sickening. Mostly Reader and robots hugging each other and crying. Also the human acquires a nickname. (~8.9k words)
Possibly borderline not work safe: there's no lewd activity in the fic itself, but the characters talk about explicit stuff that's happened in the past. Maybe don't show this one to your granny or the vicar.
This is the one in which my human character acquires their current name (Phaeton) instead of going by 'human'. Reader/Phaeton catches Feelings about being the last human and needs cuddles. Cygnus (TV unit) has a close encounter with a skibidi and needs cuddles also. (This one was basically @cosmica-galaxy 's fault - she wanted to see angst, so I had a go and was surprised by how satisfying it is to write!) Title came from a Talking Heads lyric; that's why the title is slightly sillier.
Angst o'clock! Reader and your TV-headed friend have an encounter with a skibidi. It does not go well, and both of you have to deal with the consequences. (~10k words)
Continuing the angst theme - I suddenly got the idea for this one and had to hammer it out. You know how it is.
Phaeton and Cygnus have a bad time but of course there's plenty of cuddling to make up for it.
Some big fluff! Reader and Polycephaly hang out as friends and have quite a nice time together. (~6.4k words)
Relatively short one. I just wanted to write something cute with Polycephaly because I've become fond of the foul-mouthed machine! Phaeton and Polycephaly hang out, some skibidis get decked.
We haven't seen what happened to the Brown Coated Cameraman after the events of episode 57. Who, if anyone, rescued them? Turns out it was you, Reader. You're a feral human survivor with no reason to trust the hardware-heads, but you feel compelled to help this one for some reason… (~4.4k words)
Because I wanted closure on what happened to Browncoat!

Brown cameraman is such a cutie <33. I'd like to see more content about him, maybe him and the human can hanging out somewhere while holding hands
The human rarely gets time to themselves, especially since they got the mimics and with the war effort and all.
But with one fortunate break in between jobs, they finally had a moment to themselves in the courtyard. They can only let out a sigh of relief as they stretch from their exercises they were doing earlier, taking notice of the approaching footsteps. They mentally sigh. So much for being alone.
However, when they turn to look at whoever approached, they were surprised to find browncoat standing there.
"Oh! Hello again, browcoat!" The human smiles. "What brings you to the courtyard?"
The cameraman takes a moment and taps his fingers together before signing out that if he was intruding on their break, to which the human shakes their head. "Oh no, I was taking a break after some exercises! You're free to join me!"
With the invitation to sit next to the human, he does so and a moment of semi-pleasant silence takes place. Then, the human feels something touching their hand and they look down...to find browncoat's hand covering their own.
"Browncoat?"
Upon them saying his name, he picks up his hand like it was burned before suddenly signing "sorry" very quickly and repeatedly. "No, no! It's alright! But, I wanted to ask...are you having a rough day? Do you...do you need some comfort?"
A moment of silence before a slow nod takes place. The human can only smile.
"Well then! You should've just asked!" They beam before reaching out and gently taking his hand in theirs.
Then, they sit together while the human speaks idly about their day and their future missions...all while holding the camera unit's hand.

"I would love to do it but uh, that will take a bit unfortunately as I'm not actually in my Home Universe! Plus I don't really want to deal with Dr.- the Skibidi Scientist at the moment. I doubt any of them wouldn't exactly be pleased about becoming smol!" Galaxy aka Smols shakes their head as they're balancing trays of goodies for the presently DILFified/MILFified units in the Hidden Lounge area. I'm dressed down with comfy clothing as I check on each of the Units.
"Admittedly, I'm enjoying being surrounded by all of these fellows. Don't tell Cosmica this but I think BrownCoat... or well, I've been calling them Brownie, is a bit confused and seems overwhelmed, could it be possible to send TV-woman (Echo) here?"

@igglemouse tagged me and it’s only taken me a week to get around to doing this haha.
Rules: Always post the rules. Tag 11 new people you’d like to know better
1. Dogs or Cats? Dogs, dogs are my life.
2. YouTube celebrities or normal celebrities? I don’t really care about either tbh. I guess I have some favourite celebs but for the most part, I don’t really care, they’re just people.
3. If you could live in anywhere were would that be? Oh man, someplace where it’s green and mountainous and on water where I can have several acres for my dogs to run.
4. Disney or DreamWorks? Disney, definitely.
5. Favorite childhood TV show? I don’t know that I had one, I never really watched TV shows much until college. I grew up overseas and my parents didn’t want us growing up glued to the TV so didn’t get satellite.
6. The movie you’re looking forward to most in 2020? I honestly have no idea what’s coming out this year. I haven’t paid much attention to movies ever since my best friend moved overseas.
7. Favorite book you read in 2019? Hmm, to be honest my computer has taken up most of my attention so I haven’t done much reading. I re-read Watership Down though which is always a favourite.
8. Marvel or DC? I’m so pathetic lol but I haven't kept up with either Marvel or DC so I don’t think I have a favourite.
9. If you choose Marvel favorite member of the X-Men? If you choose DC favorite Justice League member? I have no idea.
10. Night or Day? Night for sure, I’m a huge night owl.
11. Favorite Pokémon? I don’t know, my brothers were really into Pokemon but I never got into it. I guess animals have always occupied my time and energy lol.
12. Top 5 bands: Currently I’m really liking A Day To Remember and Thousand Foot Krutch.
13. Top 10 books: I don’t know that i really have any favourites tbh. I seriously need to read more.
14. Top 4 movies: Hmmm, Serenity is definitely one of my favourites (yay Firefly), apart from that I don’t know. I’ve got favourite TV shows but I’m not sure I have favourite movies. Apart from Serenity because I’m a big Browncoat.
15. America or Europe? The United States
16. Tumblr or Twitter? Lol this is making me feel all old and out of touch, but I don’t do much on Twitter (I have an account and follow people but I never post), and my Tumblr is just sims.
17. Pro choice or Pro life? Pro life.
18. Favourite YouTuber: I don’t really have a favourite, I mainly watch ASMR videos on youtube to fall asleep and then some simmers (Vixella being my favourite). Other than that I use youtube to either listen to music or I end up watching a gazillion snake and gecko videos because I really want a snake and I love geckos.
19. Favourite author? I don’t think I really have a favourite actor.
20. Tea or coffee? Tea.
21. OTP? I don’t have one
22. Do you play an instrument/sing? No, I wish :( I’d love to learn how to play the piano and the guitar.

Serenity was quietest at night.
Simon sat reading on the common room couch, his sore leg stretched out in front of him. The only sound in the room was the silent turning of the pages and Serenity's gentle hum. The book dipped, Simon's eyes fluttering shut, when a sudden thump from the cargo bay made him start awake and drop the book, the movement jostling his sore leg.
"Wo de ma he ta de fen kuang de wai sheng dou-"
"Easy there, doc," Mal said, appearing in the doorway, the portable Cortex held in his hands. "Just me."
"I don't know if that's better or worse." Simon muttered, grimacing when a spasm shot through his leg.
The captain smiled and put the Cortex down on the coffee table next to Simon's leg, taking a seat on the chair next to the couch. "Leg botherin' ya?"
"Not at all," Simon deadpanned. "I've had mosquito bites worse than this."
Mal laughed, a small smile making its way onto the doctor's face.
The Cortex pinged and Mal's smile fell.
"Is something wrong, Captain?" Simon asked. He tried to push himself up but hissed when his leg shifted. Mal passed him the screen and sighed.
"They, uh, they updated yer wanted bulletins."
He didn't need to see the screen to know why the boy froze. Hell, he would have done the same.
Both of the Tam's bounty had been increased with a 1000 credits and the words Dead or Alive flashed next to Simon's name.
It was quiet, Serenity's engine a steady hum.
"It's a few days old-"
Simon's voice was soft and Mal almost missed it, but missing what he said was as hard as missing a brick wall.
"We'll leave."
Mal stopped, stunned.
"Huh?"
Simon's eyes were downcast, his jaw set and his body tensed.
"I said, Captain, we'll leave. River and I are a threat in more ways than one and-"
"Doc."
His voice was harsh but Mal wanted, needed, the kid to hear this.
"Doc, listen to me. You and yer sister are crew and that's not nothing. Ya ain't leavin' this ship just because yer bounty'd been increased. Yer safer here than anywhere else."
He tried to catch the doctor's eyes.
"If ya want to leave, then so be it. But it should be yer own decision, not out o' some misplaced sense of protection. We can look after our own, and, well," Mal smiled, "having a doc on board to patch us up after ain't too bad."
Simon laughed quietly and looked up at the Captain with suspiciously bright eyes.
"Why?"
"How many times do I have to say this, son? Yer on my crew."
Mal gently clapped Simon on the shoulder, careful not to jostle him.
He stood up, picking up the fallen book and handing it to Simon before he left. Just as he reached the doorway, he turned back. Simon looked up at him, frowning.
"Oh, and doc?"
"Yes Captain?"
"Try not to get shot again, dong ma?"

Polycephaly questions:
50. A memory they’ve blocked out
I see Tabieeee's comic as canon because it makes so much sense.
If you haven't seen it, go look now; it's only 8 comic pages and has probably <30 lines of dialogue - you can spare the time. It'll chill you, break your heart, and give you such brain worms! All Skibidi fans should read it!
Read it? Okay. Therefore, going by this, Polycephaly was once a normal TV unit before being upgraded to their current form. Since Polycephaly is apparently the only large TV unit, I'm guessing it was an arduous process, because the TV faction didn't repeat it (though it could be simply that there aren't that many TVs to begin with). Poly has probably chosen to 'put away' their memories of who they once were; it's easier for them to think of themselves as having only been Polycephaly.
46. The person they most admire
TV Matriarch, because that's the only entity who can match them for banter.
They also begrudgingly admire Browncoat cam for having the audacity to run after TV Matriarch for a hug like they did. (The Matriarch does dish out hugs fairly liberally but only on their own terms.)
37. What they really think about themselves
Drawing a bit of a blank on this one, because Poly has appeared in so few episodes. I guess they think of themself as a 'no-nonsense' person who gets shit done, since that's largely true.
28. How they feel about [insert character of your choice from the same fandom]
Skibidis: "Ugly-ass bitch" :D

Titan TV questions:
24. Most annoying habit
I liked @askthesmoltitans's answer that Titan TV stims when idle, which causes issues when repairing/upgrading. I also remember seeing someone else's headcanon that their back-grabber spikes are ticklish. If both of those are true, it could be very annoying for the mechanics who have to service the spikes!
Also, when playing videos to entertain other Alliance members, they like to drop in silly captions and add sound effects, which is often funny, but can be annoying when you just want to unwind and watch something but the Titan keeps adding comedy trombone noises, Inception BWAMs, etc. You can't really ask them to stop, because they're the bloody Titan.
16. Deepest darkest secret they won’t even admit to themselves
They worry about what they'd do if they encountered a skibidi that challenged their proclamation that 'all toilets will die', i.e. if they encountered a 'good' non-hostile skibidi that doesn't 'deserve' death. (Perhaps one that remembers being a human and wants to go back.) Morally they'd be obliged to spare it, they guess, but it doesn't sit well with them to have to go back on their word. (The obvious answer is to say that a 'good' one doesn't count as a 'toilet' and therefore does not have to die. But is that the answer or is that just playing with words?)

I Aim to Misbehave
I’ve already joined Dumbledore’s Army (codename Neville) and am working on putting together a regiment of Browncoats (yes, all real drumpf resistance organizations), and now it looks like I’m going full Magneto.
What does that mean? That I will protect My People at all costs. The persecuted, the marginalized, the different, those deemed unworthy, less than, the freaks, the divergent, the minority, all those feared, unwanted and unloved; I will be there for you.
Those doing the persecuting and those who have stood by and let it happen? They are the enemy and they are on their own. Anyone interested in kicking out Delores Trumpbridge, signing up with the Independents or fighting on the side of the mutants? It might be a weird mix of fictional ‘verses to fight a real world problem, but it seems fitting.
