Steve Harrington x reader, Robin Buckley & reader
You walked into family video at around midday, knowing Steve and Robin’s shift would be starting any minute.
When you entered the store only Robin was there, who lit up as soon as she saw it was only you, bouncing towards you before she encased you in a hug, one you eagerly returned as you took in the perfume you got her for her birthday.
“Thank God it’s you. The second I put my badge on and a customer walks in, I feel like my whole day is cursed.” Robin laughed into your shoulder, before pulling back with a smile, both of you still holding onto’s each other’s arms.
“Well thank God then. Can’t have your day being cursed. You’re riding in the same car as me when Steve takes us to the movie theatre later, I don’t wanna be collateral damage.” You joke, Robin lightly brushing your shoulder as she backed up a step closer to the tape rack. “And you don’t want me to be cursed?”
“Hmm, that too.” You agree, both of you laughing through your noses, before you sighed at the tapes that were definitely on the wrong shelves. A Nightmare On Elm Street was definitely not ‘kindergarten & under friendly!’
It only took you a second however, now you’d pulled away from Robin, to notice the dark blue shirt she was wearing, accompanied by some dangly bracelets and a black pair of ripped jeans. “Is that’s Steve’s shirt? Or is another one you both accidentally bought?” You asked good naturedly, remembering the time they both showed up to Nancy’s party in the same sports crop top.
Robin sighed, pinching the material and pulling it out from her stomach. “Yeah, I didn’t like any of my clean clothes today.”
You both nodded together, knowing the feeling.
It was a normal thing for both of you to steal from Steve’s wardrobe. You were both over at his all the time, sometimes hanging out there when Steve wasn’t even in.
One day Steve had left bed early to drive Dustin somewhere, but you were still lounging about in his sheets. You heard someone using the front door key, and Robin bounded into the bedroom, only giving you a slightly too ealry in the morning but still cheery “Oh hey!” as you tried to at least put a bra on under the sheets.
Robin had been swiping all of Steve’s jackets on a rack to the side one by one, and when you had last nights bra and Steve’s basketball shorts on, you joined her side, asking “anything in particular you’re looking for?”
“Yeah. His brown jacket, you know the fake leather one? I’ve just got a new bunch of shit and I need to see if it fits these tops that pretty much will only go with that.”
You found it in a small pile and handed it to Robin, used to her raiding Steve’s closet before, and she knew you did the exact same thing. Occasionally with Steve in the room, where you both promised to give it back. Although now, you knew you weren’t the only one to use Steve’s gifted house keys to your advantage.
Now though, in family video, you took in the top Robin was wearing, feeling the material by stroking the sleeves on her bicep, and nodding knowing the answer to your internal question.
“Oh yeah. I wore that one yesterday.” You kept nodding. It was a good shirt. Very fashionable, and unisex. Not that shirts had genders.
Robin blinked, although wasn’t really surprised, looking down at it “Oh really?” She lifted the collar, giving it a small sniff test. “Well at least you smell good. It was on his clean pile.”
“Yeah I put it there last night, I only wore it for a couple of hours when we went shopping.”
“Probably for more clothes. Poor Steve.” Robin pulled a dramatic face at you, woeing for him, and you both shared another laugh. Helping Robin in her duties as you took three copies of Friday The 13th, and four of The Exorcist and helped move it to the horror section.
“I mean, I’m wearing his top and his pants today. Not my fault I can convince him to get pants that comfortably fit both of us.” You gestured down to your outfit, Robin giving it a quick applause in appreciation.
“Yeah” Robin started “Have you noticed he wears this one to work a lot?” She nodded down to ‘her’ shirt, flattening it with a brush of her hand. You weren’t even surprised at how well Steve’s clothes fit you or Robin anymore sometimes. Almost like he wanted you both to steal them, you could argue.
“I think he thinks this one is more ‘professional’ or something.” Robin gave air quotes at the word, rolling her eyes and smiling at you before returning to the task at hand.
You pull it a little from her waist, Robin of course doesn’t care, as you rub the hem of it between your fingers. It really did seem like a good material. “Well do you think he was gonna wear it today?” You asked, only for Robin to give an uncaring shrug at you.
That’s when Steve ran through the door, a good twelve minutes late to his shift.
Luckily his face went from panic and trying to keep the door from flying off its hinges, to a relaxed puff of air flowing from his cheeks, as he realised it was only you and Robin in the store, no Keith.
“Well thank God for that.”
“God’s getting a lot of thanks today.” Robin noted, leaving the tapes for Steve to sort as she went to lean against the counter. There was a really good spot the sun shone through at midday, and Robin rolled her head and relaxed into it like a cat.
“Yeah, that’s probably why so many people are avoiding curses.” You noted as you walked up to Steve.
“Amen!” Robin called with a finger out to you, eyes still closed, as you came and bundled Steve’s sweater up in your hands, leaning over to give him a kiss on the cheek.
“What?” Steve said quietly, a lost look in his puppy dog eyes as he looked between his girlfriend and his best friend.
You and Robin both just chuckled, and you used his sweater to pull him in for another kiss. One Steve smiled against, even if he wasn’t quite in on your antics of the day. Giving just a quiet and happy moan, simply because he was happy to be giving you your first kiss of the day.
It was only when you leaned back, Steve still smiling hooded at you, slightly licking his lips, that you looked at the darker colour between your hands. And as you took a step back, still holding him like he owed you money, you were just a tad surprised. “Is that my sweater?”
Even Robin looked up now, peering her head aorund to catch a glimpse.
“Yeah babe. I’m sorry, I just couldn’t find anything work suitable left for today.” Steve relayed, his hand rubbing the back of your neck, still there from when he’d been kissing you. You could tell it was from a drawer you left at Steve’s house, for when you didn’t pack for an unplanned ‘sleepover’.
Steve still felt comfortable in it though at least. Even if he was late with the chaos of tearing his bedroom apart. “I swear my laundry machine eats my-“
Steve stopped as you gestured smiling apologetically down at your shirt... and at your pants. And when you looked over at Robin, Steve followed your trail. Watching her cheerily wave, before he realised what she was wearing too.
He fell back on his feet, an amused smile on his face. “Oh. That’s where all my clothes went.” He bemused, unable to even sound chiding.
And even though you kissed his cheek in ‘apology’, you knew he loved the easy going and close friendships and relationships he had with you and Robin. And the others, because Eddie definitely stole that sports crop top from Steve after that party, because you remember chucking it out a window at him. You knew Steve loved his little family, even if you punked him sometimes like this.
“Well I’m eventually gonna give it back.” You rolled your eyes dramatically, pulling on ‘his’ sweater sweetly, as Robin called out “I’m not!”
Steve only wrapped his arm around your neck, kissing the shell of your ear. “It’s fine. It looks better on you than it does me. Although Robin could use a little help.”
“Dingus!” Robin called out, letting her middle finger stretch far.
Steve only retuned his half heartedly, before shaking his head at both of you. Getting his attention drawn back as your fingers graced his toned chest. “Just don’t get any badge holes in it Stevie. They look awful in that sweater.”

GENESIS RHAPSODOS
🎟️ SEXUALITY HEADCANON: Genesis is what you call a Raging Homosexual
⚧️ GENDER HEADCANON: He identifies as cisgender, but presents in that way where he's like "I'm a man and I get to decide what that means." For Genesis, this means that he owns dresses and stilettos and lingerie and no he's not crossdressing, they're his clothes and he's a man so they're men's clothes, fuck you.
💕 A SHIP: Sephesis is the OTP, obviously, but I also absolutely adore Valenstrifesodos and all permutations thereof!
🖇️ A BROTP: Genesis+Tseng (platonically, although my headcanon is that they boned once and will never do so again)
🚫 A NOTP: Genesis/Angeal (romantically)
💭 A RANDOM HEADCANON: Genesis found Rapier somewhere deep in the Banora Underground before he left for Midgar, which is why it resonates with the Light of Doom and transforms with him when he's turned into a Weapon to cure his degradation. It's technically an ancient artifact (maybe even an artifact of the Ancients) but he never told anyone because he worried that Shinra would confiscate it if they knew. It is to Genesis what Cerberus/Death Penalty is to Vincent—an extension of his inherent power, the tool with which he's meant to carry out his duty to the Planet, bound to him until the end of time.
🗣️GENERAL OPINION: My second-favorite character in FF7. Second place blorbo.

Yorozu
Sexuality Headcanon:
I would say probably bi? Although I'm not sure if she's actually attracted to men because our only point of reference is Sukuna and with him she cares more about status and what she projected about herself onto him. She doesn't really seem to be attracted to him or even care much about his personality. Still gonna tentatively say she swings in all kinds of ways. If someone can give her a horny fight, that's all that counts.
Gender Headcanon:
I'd call it like woman+ or maybe a smidge of multigender. She clearly likes her body as is and places a lot of importance on her being a woman as far as status is concerned, but she also likes having a flat chest, big defined muscles and a bulge, so I think there's definitely some variety in her gender and non-conformity. Non-conformity definitely especially if you look at her in the Heian era, where she defies traditional gender roles of women by not really being bound to a man. She works for the Fujiwara, but that seemed to have been more out of convenience. She can choose what she does freely and doesn't even have to bother with social etiquette.
A ship I have with said character:
Takako, just like in the previous ask. I think Takako's avoidant CT could really rile her up and make her interested in her. Yorozu likes getting physical, so that would be a new challenge for her. I'd like to believe she paid her a short visit when coming to Sendai in the modern era and check up on how she's doing.
A BROTP I have with said character:
Maybe with Uraume? I do like their bitchy attitudes and Yorozu seems to appreciate their cooking. They could be very fun together if they are not fighting over Sukuna.
A NOTP I have with said character:
I guess kind of with Sukuna. I don't really like them as a serious ship or anything sexual between them really. They can be fun for a while, mostly because Yorozu just has such an engaging and fiery personality, but they both should just move on to better things/people.
A random headcanon:
When Kenjaku scouted her for the Culling Game, they bonded a bit over insects. Kenjaku seems to have an affinity for centipedes or arthropods in general and Yorozu is fascinated by all kinds of insects. They could sit together in the grass and study the wildlife like the two nerds they are.
General Opinion over said character:
As annoying as she can be, I still love her. I just wish Gege would've highlighted more of her that doesn't directly relate to Sukuna. I would've liked to see more of Yorozu's studious side in general because I mean she worked really hard to get to where she was and she a lot of research on herself and her environment that often gets overlooked. She actually seems to know a lot about entomology and physics, but all people remember is her throwing herself at Sukuna. Still firmly stand by the opinion that Sukuna was the most boring aspect of their fight. If he had actually engaged a bit more, had some fun and gone with the flow, the fight would've been a lot more entertaining. This way Yorozu had to carry the tension and provide the excitement all on her own, while Sukuna (like he often does) just stood around doing nothing.

Name: Short answer: Ts’ono’ot Karst

A cenote is a natural pit or sinkhole formed by dissolution of rock resulting from the collapse of limestone. The word cenote derives from the mayan word "Ts'ono'ot" and refers to any subterranean chamber with accessible water. Cenotes were the only source of freshwater in the jungle and are considered sacred, cenotes were sometimes used by the Mayan civilization for sacrificial offerings because the mayan considered cenotes an entrance to Xibalba or Underworld (place of fear).
So she was named after the feature that straddles the surface and Underdark, just as she herself does. Karst is the type of geology in which cenotes form.
Gender: Female, but a tomboy in terms of presentation
Sexuality: Mostly straight, but might enjoy the occasional romp otherwise.
Pronouns: She/her, but doesn’t really care what anyone uses.
O T H E R
Family: Her mother was Drow, her father was a Wood-Elf (which I can't actually do in-game; insert rant on why fantasy always makes half-anything half human). She left the Underdark (semi-permanently) after the murder of her life-partner by his house. She found comfort and love she did not expect with Halsin.
Birthplace: She doesn’t know where her mother was when she was born, but she was raised pretty equally between the surface and Underdark.
Job: None, she’s a ranger, she enjoys wandering far and wide and might do odd tasks for coin but she’s largely self-sufficient and does not care about such things.
Phobia: She thought the worst thing she could imagine was something crawling into her ear. Turns out, she was wrong.
Guilty pleasure: I don’t think she’s ever felt guilt in taking pleasure anywhere lol
Hobbies: She enjoys the many little skills and crafts that make her ranger life easier (or are straight up necessities), but would not classify them as ‘hobbies’.
M O R A L S
Alignment: True Neutral, her personal morals align with Good in certain situations.
Sins: She has absolutely no reservation about killing other Drow. She will almost always make the choice to do so, even if/when they are no longer a threat.
Virtues: She takes every act of violence against those she loves personally, and she is extremely dedicated to freeing (most) captives, especially those bound in slavery.

Character ask: Orpheus and Eurydice
This is a good ask for me! My college senior thesis was a comparison of Monteverdi and Gluck's operas based on the Orpheus myth!
Don't expect any comments on Hadestown here, though – I'm not familiar with that musical at all.
Orpheus
Favorite thing about them: His love for Eurydice. A love so strong that he's willing to journey to the Underworld to bring her back, and almost succeeds, except for his act of "too much love" when he looks back at her. The fantasy of being loved that way is hard to resist!
Least favorite thing about them: His misogyny after coming back from the Underworld in some versions of the myth. I don't mind versions where he just avoids women out of faithfulness to Eurydice's memory, but it's all too common to portray him as coming to hate women, either because they all seem so inferior to Eurydice, or because they remind him too much of her, or because he blames Eurydice's feminine charms for causing his misery. And Ovid's claim that in his rejection of women, he became the first man ever to sleep with young boys? Ugh. Just ugh.
Three things I have in common with them:

*I'm very loving and passionate.

Three things I don't have in common with them:

Favorite line: His song in Ovid's version of the myth, where he pleads with Hades and Persephone:

nOTP: Hades, Persephone, his mother Calliope, or any of the Maenad women who tore him limb-from-limb.
Random headcanon: His father was the Thracian king Oeagrus. Or to be exact, I prefer the version of the myth where Oeagrus is his father to the version where Apollo is his father. It's generally agreed that his mother is the muse Calliope. So if his parents are a god and goddess, why is he a mortal? Doesn't it stand to reason that he should have one mortal parent?
Unpopular opinion: I get slightly tired of seeing people quote Portrait of a Lady on Fire to explain why he looks back at Eurydice, claiming that he makes "the poet's choice" (i.e. that he chooses his idealized memory of Eurydice, which he can fully possess and which can inspire his art forever, rather than face an uncertain future with a living woman). That's a fascinating interpretation of his backward glance, but it's not the "true" meaning of the myth. There is no single "true" meaning. Different retellings have interpreted his backward glance as excessive passion and a lack of self-control, or as a fatal lack of faith in either Hades, Eurydice, or himself, or as an act of concern for Eurydice which shows that Hades' command was inhumane, or as a commentary on the nature of grief (i.e. that we can't help but look back at our memories), or simply as inevitable because death can't be reversed. All of those interpretations, and others too, are just as valid as "the poet's choice." That's part of the beauty of mythology: it has so many possible meanings.

Eurydice
Favorite thing about them: A woman who inspires a love that almost conquers death itself is a fascinating character, and I enjoy seeing the different ways she's characterized in different retellings of the myth and other works inspired by it. When the same mythical figure loosely inspires such different characters as innocent, girlish Pamina in The Magic Flute and seductive, jaded Satine in Moulin Rouge!, then you know (a) that she's not the most fleshed-out character, but (b) that her very "flatness" makes her a wellspring of creative ideas for authors and artists who retell the story.
Least favorite thing about them: She's not very likable in Gluck's opera Orfeo ed Euridice, where she doesn't know that Orpheus can't look back at her, assumes he must not love her anymore, and hounds him into finally looking back. I'm glad that only happens in one adaptation and she isn't always like that.
Three things I have in common with them:
*I'm loving and affectionate.
*I find good singers very attractive.
*I enjoy walking in nature (preferably with no snakes in the grass).

*I'm not as captivatingly beautiful as she's traditionally portrayed.

nOTP: Aristaeus, who tries to rape her in Virgil's version of the myth, leading to her death as she steps on a snake while running from him.
Random headcanon: When Orpheus was killed and his spirit went to the Elysian Fields, the judges in the Underworld debated whether Eurydice should join him there or stay in the Asphodel Meadows with the other ordinary, non-heroic souls. Ultimately, they chose to send her to Elysium, both because it would have been too cruel to Orpheus not to reunite them, and because after Eurydice's second chance to live was snatched away from her, she deserved to at least spend her afterlife in paradise.
Unpopular opinion: I'd like to see at least one retelling of the myth that portrays the legendary philosopher-poet Musaeus of Athens as Orpheus's son (as one Greek historian claimed he was, though others disagreed), and portrayed Eurydice as his mother. Giving them a child could add even more weight to the tragedy.

A random headcanon: If he knew what ABBA is he would love them. He also seems like the kind of guy who will eat everything on his plate no matter what.
General Opinion over said character: He's great!!!! Like he honestly a really engaging protagonist and I love him.

3. How would you describe your writing style?
Introspective, I think is a good word. I do love getting in my characters' heads 😂

I gotta be honest, I don't have any new fics 😅 it's been the same WIPs for a while. But here's the first sentence of a WIP I didn't share during the rose game today:

15. What's your favourite plotless fic you have written?
ooh this is tough but probably “what’s going on (in that head of yours)?” Cisco & Morgan are such a sweet brotp, and I loved writing them coming to terms with Ronnie being back in their lives after a whole year 💞 (it's a big adjustment! Especially for Morgan)
16. Are one-shots really underrated?
...well, yes and no. I think long one-shots are generally pretty beloved. Short (and short-ish) ones though...definitely underrated!
26. What would you describe as OOC?
Ooh well ik people have different lines they draw for where OOC begins for them. But generally speaking imo...if you're writing a character in such a way that doesn’t resemble their canon portrayal…you’re stepping into OOC territory. Of course, there’s the idea of “well, I’m putting them in a situation they weren’t in in canon, so ofc they react differently,” which is fair, but if it’s not even believable given prior canon precedent, then yeah, it’s OOC
As an example: Zuko canonically struggles with vulnerability during the course of ATLA. The only person he can be vulnerable with is Mai. And, given his words in LOK, we can assume this extends to Izumi as well, once she’s born. He canonically has trouble talking about and processing his feelings during ATLA
So when I read a fic about Zuko joining the Gang and openly crying and being emotionally vulnerable…yeah, that’s OOC. Teen Zuko is NOT at that point. We can have a discussion about whether or not he becomes emotionally vulnerable with the Gaang years later, but…within the bounds of canon, no. That’s not Zuko
36. How do you come up with fic titles? What's the one you're most proud of?
Usually I scroll through my playlists/liked songs! I'll usually land on something. And if not, I usually ask my in-the-know irl friend for suggestions
(Exception: the prompt fills. I usually just use the prompt as a title, or something similar/related)

Favorite thing about them: The way that Ranna speaks was designed for every ounce of my theater tendencies, and I love it. Yes, queen, throw in an extended metaphor and an insulting euphemism. Make that sentence five times longer than it needs to be.
Least favorite thing about them: ... Having to improvise those theatrical lines as the DM.
Favorite line: All the insults. But really, the answer is something she said as the party was ramping up to go north and defeat the prince of frost. Forgive my terrible memory, it was improv multiple years ago, but it was something like, "If you are bound to face this evil, then what meager help a poet can offer, you will have. Friends and heroes, I travel with you."
Brotp: I enjoyed the rivalry between Ranna and Oliver. They bickered, they didn't respect each other, but nonetheless they had a kind of professional understanding and party loyalty. Sibling behavior.
Otp: Against all campaign and player designs, OriRanna bloomed wild in our hearts~. Oh for a burdened, genuinely good hero and the scribe who knows how the story must end but will not leave her side. I'll never be over it.
Notp: We haven't run into any. Probably Ranna/the nice young man her parents hoped she would marry.
Random headcanon: Ranna's singing voice is no good! Shocking for a bard but true; it's why she sticks to instruments and poetry. She can carry a tune, and her technique is simple but sound. But her tone is dark and brassy. She's just never going to sing prettily.
Unpopular opinion: What's to be unpopular about?
Song I associate with them: I have a whole playlist!
Favorite picture of them: [chinhands] The first portrait you did, before we knew the otp ride we were in for.
Hmmmmmmmm I miss my terrible girl.
Favorite thing about them: Char's flexibility makes her really fun to play in Situations. She's far more practical than proud. If her plan is shit, then she'll ditch it. If she needs to do something tedious or unimpressive, fine, that's her job now. She doesn't need to come out of it looking cool as long as she comes out of it.
Least favorite thing about them: I do not know how to get this woman a happy, conclusive ending.
Favorite line: I am a little stuck on the wack laugh I produced when Ledo asked, "Char... did you kill someone?"
Brotp: The great part about this party is the amount of potential in this sphere. Char already likes these losers all right. But will she form that unbreakable bond with anyone? More news in 2024!
Otp: We wait in hope. Something might come up!
Notp: None as of now.
Random headcanon: How about a random fact? If the party had left the Fenston estate with business concluded and that poor bastard had still been strung up for thieving, Char would have slit his throat on the way out.
Unpopular opinion: You guys let me know what the popular Char opinions are so that I know what to stand against. ;P

Favourite thing about Ryuji? He’s just the nicest guy ever. He loves his friends. He would give his life for them without a second thought. He is a bright sunshiny ball of friendship, he is so funny and silly, and I just really love him
My least favourite thing is so impossible, but I guess I’d say it’s the way the game treats and utilized him after the first chapter. I know that by virtue of introducing new characters as the story progresses old ones are bound to become less relevant, but I think they should’ve used him more. He was the brawn, the muscle of the operation, and I think they could’ve found better ways to keep him more important (like he is in my heart)
“*GASP!* Does that mean you have a phone!?” It was. Soooo hard to pick a favourite line because he’s got a lot of very good ones, but I have to say this one stands out because he’s talking to a fucking CAT
Brotp gotta be him and Makoto. Their dynamic is so funny to me. It’s the studious student council president and her absolute himbo best friend. The shenanigans they could get into together would be so good

I hc that he is an adhd king. Honestly that’s basically canon given what we see of him in the game but still- it’s important to me. Specifically I think he bounces around a lot, both physically and mentally. He is very hyperactive and he rotates through hyperfixations frequently. He and Ren like to infodump on each other all the time and they love encouraging each other’s interests
I genuinely don’t know what opinions are popular or not so I’m skipping that one again 🤭

Arthur Hastings For The OTP Meme Please
This is going to be so much less varied in partners than the Sally one because Arthur’s a big ol awkward mess of a man haha
My NOTP for them: Bobbies
This is an incredibly popular ship that I've never understood. I mean, I intellectually get it from a fanservice and thirsting perspective, but I don't get it from a character perspective. I think it wouldn't be such a notp for me if the fandom wasn't so oversaturated in it.
My BROTP for them: Sally
Before all else Sally and Arthur were best friends and at the end of the day, beyond any romantic interest, they just want to be friends again. I like the idea of them finding their way back to friendship in the future. Rebuilding the trust they used to have for each other and getting to know each other again as the adults they’ve grown into.
Alternatively, a friend pointed out Richard Arkwright and the potential friendship there had Arthur taken him up on that impromptu job offer and it’s a fun little worm of an idea.
My OTP for them: Sally (under certain conditions):
I expanded on this more in the Sally post, but I’ll chat about it again here with an Arthur focus. Friendship is the foundation of their relationship and when friendship meets mutual attraction, it has the potential to grow into a very healthy, loving relationship. Of course, they have their issues and have had their conflicts, but if they could rebuild that trust and truly learn to love each other for who they are, not who they think the other person is, then they have the potential to be a really healthy and cute ship. What can I say? I’m weak for malewife x girlboss.
My second choice pairing for them: Beatrice Gates
He ticks all her boxes for a perfect partner: He’s tall.
In all seriousness though, they do both like books and once Beatrice goes off her Joy she is distraught over a lost loved one. I think that’s something she and Arthur could maybe bond over. Not a serious ship, but, you know, I don’t not ship them.
My fluffy pairing for them: Sally (older and well adjusted)
To expand more on their being my Arthur otp, this is all under the condition that they’ve taken time to get to know themselves, get to know each other, process their respective trauma, and settle into lives as functional adults. I like the idea of a slowburn love growing between them amidst their rekindling friendship. Arthur stepping in as a dad-figure for Gwen. Both of them supporting each other in their respective lines of work. Arthur learning to trust and Sally learning to be trustworthy. Not jumping into a relationship, but slowly walking into it over the years side by side until one day they realize they’re making their way through life hand-in-hand.
My angsty pairing for them: Sally (under certain conditions)
With all those caveats, we were bound to wind up here too. I’ve gone into this in depth on my Sally version of this.
As a different angsty pairing for him, while I actually don’t read Arthur as being bi (totally okay if you do, I just personally don’t), I’ve seen the Arthur/Nick pairing go by a few times in the fandom and I find in interesting in a super toxic way. What with Nick being an active drug addict and Arthur trying to get clean of Joy.
My favorite poly ship for them: Arthur/Sally/Gemma/Margaret Oliphant polycule
Kind of a “Hi this is my girlfriend Sally and this is Sally’s girlfriend Gemma and this is Gemma’s girlfriend Margaret” thing. The is with the caveat that Arthur can handle an open relationship which I doubt. He strikes me as the kind of person who really wants and needs a monogamous relationship (if he were to be in a relationship at all, that is). But I do like the idea of this polycule.
My weirdest pairing for them: Gemma
While I do ship Gemma with Margaret Oliphant and/or Sally more than this, I think she and Arthur could have been a pretty fantastic journalism team with maybe a little bit of romantic interest mixed in there. I don’t actively ship them, but I could see it. The only real complaint I’d have is that Gemma can do worlds better than Arthur haha
