Mercury is technically an outcode, a ‘glitch’ as some may say

His universe was destroyed (no backstory for this yet) and with a small bit of help from the Stars he can now basically world hop, or ehatever the phrasing is

It would be a shame if he was targeted by the Bad Guys™️

A total shame :)

Mercury is probably a monster (see : definitely) but I need to come up with like a species for him. Could make him a fire elemental but that’s a but basic.

Outertale is like a safe haven for him (he got his necklace as a gift from a certain pun maker who resides there <3)

This is my first post and it's for a tournament. Here we go -w-7

Name : Arnika, the Witch of Winter

Images :

Personnality : Passionate, socially awkward, hot-head and gentle.

Backstory and Lore :

Arnika is born on the cold side of Old Odessey in Floralia and since she was little, she always had ice powers. Even thought she love her powers, it didn't really goes well with a kingdom who's mostly flower based. And so, Arnika is lonely and desperate to have a friend. Which bring her into dangerous situations like when she became friend with a thief who cut one of her horns when she was sleeping.

One day, in some ruins, she found a magic broom who change its apparence based on its owner's powers. Thinking that the broom have a mind on its own, she called it "Broomy" and start travel around with it.

Years later, Arnika found herself in Dreamland during summer and decide to help the inhabitants by turning summer into winter. But she quickly became mad when Dedede start a fire to warm himself up. Out of rage, she turn Dedede into a snowman monster with Broomy but lose control over her creation. She ask Kirby to help her stop her broom and together, they manege to defeat the snowman and free Dedede.

Arnika apologize for letting her feelings get over her, telling that she feel so proud of her powers but nobody need them. But Dedede decide to make a deal with her : coming back his castle every summer to cold it down and they will forgive her and even became her friends. Arnika accept, greatful of the king despite having turn him into a horrible snowman.

And so, when she's not travelling, Arnika come back every summer to help King Dedede with the hot weather. He even train her to how to defend herself after hearing how she lose her horn. And since, Arnika couldn't be happier.

There you go! Thanks to give Arnika a chance in this tournament. And a chance to me 'cause English isn't my main language (it's French). Hope you will like her ^^

PS : the name "Arnika" came from the plant "arnica" who's used in medecine to calm down muscle pains. The application of the cream give a cold sensation.
