For me, the strong back is grounded confidence and boundaries. The soft front is staying vulnerable and curious. The mark of a wild heart is living out these paradoxes in our lives and not giving into the either/or BS that reduces us. It’s showing up in our vulnerability and our courage, and, above all else, being both fierce and kind.

The paradox is one of our most valuable spiritual possessions... only the paradox comes anywhere near to comprehending the fullness of life.

🌟 Self-talk matters! 🌟
How do you speak to yourself? Are you kind and compassionate, or do you criticize and judge yourself harshly?
It's easy to forget that the way we talk to ourselves can have a big impact on our mental health and well-being. That's why Brené Brown's advice to "talk to yourself like someone you love" is so important.
Imagine how you would speak to your best friend or your favorite family member when they're going through a tough time. You would probably use words of encouragement, support, and empathy, right? You would remind them of their strengths and their worth. You would listen without judgment and offer a shoulder to lean on.
Now, try applying that same level of kindness and understanding to yourself. Instead of beating yourself up for your mistakes or flaws, try to see yourself through the eyes of someone who loves you unconditionally. Speak to yourself with gentleness and warmth, and you might be surprised at how much better you feel.
Remember: You are worthy of love and respect, and that includes the way you talk to yourself. So be your own best friend, and watch your self-confidence and self-esteem grow.

Ultimately, our lives end for us all with an unavoidable stage right exit—Death: The end of our physical existence as we know it… An ocean crossing scales with the wind… We are all carbon-sparked stories pulsing in the cosmic filament strung through space and time.  When we are gone—awakened, perhaps, in some other side of consciousness—someone may take care to memorialize our lives with an…

[ My cousins used to do photo challenges in which they would take a photo or photos of a day in their lives through their eyes (or lenses hehe). Not only did these photos serve as updates to one another this year, but these behind-the-scenes shots also etched what was once my current status into memories. ]
dear cool kid,
those last two are for you 📚🧃🍪🥔

📢 External Validation 101 ⚠️ If you live to seek praise from others, you're handing them control over your life! 😵‍💫 This is a BIG one & especially in today's day and age. I have to check myself & catch myself slipping sometimes. Some forms of external validation are healthy. Especially when you're a child and you receive positive reinforcement from your parents. It becomes harmful when it's all you seek. ⚡ Here are some harmful examples: ➡️ You date someone based on what your family wants for you. ➡️ You pursue a career because society or your family will see you in a high regard. Not because you're passionate about it. ➡️ You overwork yourself to seek praise from your boss ➡️ You agree with everyone to be liked and considered a "good & nice" person ⭐ Ultimately, relying on external validations to define your self worth. ✅ If you resonate with this, you are not alone. Seeking praise can become a cycle easily. You may not even notice at first. Send me a DM if you'd like to start relying on yourself vs giving control to others. ----------------------------------------------------------------- #impostersyndrome #recoveringperfectionist #impostersyndromeisreal #socialanxietydisorder #socialanxietymemes #momlife #womenempowerement #bosswomenmindset #singlegirls #singlewomen #callherdaddy #selfhelpbook #selfhelpquotes #babyfoodrecipe #selfhelppodcast #confidenceiskey🔑 #confidencebuilding #selfconfidencequotes #peoplepleasers #insecurities #externalvalidation #plantlovercommunity #jayshettymeditation #brenébrown #callherdaddy #affirmationpositive #selfworthquotes (at Kitchener, Ontario) https://www.instagram.com/p/ClFVV8Asj-r/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
