ah!!! I mostly just started to improve at writing him over time, like the more I wrote about him and reread my writing, the more I was able to better grasp his character. but I've also read the manga so many times, and when I'm writing, I read through it often to study the way aki acts and the way he talks, that way I could get his personality and the way he speaks down. it's a lot of editing and trial and error...
