I just couldn't make up my mind on some of these #I spent way too much time overanalyzing the casual sweaters/jumpers. I was trying to only show each one once but then just gave up #deep dived research on the Todd Snyder site that's the kind of overanalyzing that happened #there is a lot of lighting messing with colors and for sure there are some repeats in this but whatever #I had this idea way back when we saw the variety of color sweaters/jumpers for S3 #but after the end of S3 I lost a lot of feelings for this show #my motivation for giffing this show is not so strong anymore but there is a part of me that still wants to maybe try a layout set #I'm thinking of doing all 3 seasons and just an overall sweater/jumper encompassing gifset. both the work and casual together #kind of meh on how some of these turned out ¯\_(ツ)_/¯#it might be the added switch to the new editor and that all of these have been turned into gifv nonsense #also couldn't get the caption font to do what I wanted in html or at least it looked alright in drafts but not in preview #PS: thank you talldecafcappuccino for reading/helping with my color debate/same vs not same sweater/jumper nonsense

Laceys Games and Valle Verde are so criminally underrated it's a real shame. I consume a lot of digital horror/arg content but truthfully those two are the best I've seen besides classic Petscop. The way they weave their narratives and their aesthetics are truly phenomenal. One of the reasons Petscop got so big when it did is because there was nothing really like it. I think the same can be said for both Lacey and Valle Verde, I wish there were more people who appreciated just how insanely good they both are. But, I suppose, it is always fun to be "niche"

#the biggest complaint people always have is oooohhhhh its so OVERSATURATED its all the same...#and i get that. to a certain extent #i think there is a Lot of digital horror/arg stuff out there especially nowadays i think it only becomes increasingly popular #but i think most of it is usually pretty good. i think sometimes you'll have something a little subpar like i didnt really care for #the man in the suit but even so i appreciate that someone probably put their heart and a lot of effort into making it and i like it just #bcuz of that. does that make sense?#and i think a lot of it is made by younger people as well. the good stuff is out there you just have to know where to look #or also understand that both genres as a whole are still pretty quote unquote new and also predominantly run by a younger generation #for an overall younger audience. when i say younger i mean like teenagers and young adults #although my bfs little brother loves the mandela catalogue and hes like 11 so maybe even younger #anyways this was kind of rambling but i highly recommend both laceys games and valle verde. its very rare that something like this #Actually scares/creeps me out but both have done so with flying colors.

For our newest specord event called "Fairytales and Folklore", I drew a piece for Lack-Two based on the Scottish folklore of the water kelpie.

In the past days of Crown Tundra, there lived an Alpha Keldeo that people called the water kelpie. It was known to lure children on its back on the shores of lakes. But once the children touched it, their hand would get stuck and Keldeo would dive deep underwater, and the children were never to be seen again. A young lad named Lack-Two has found himself being dragged down to depths... But maybe he can still make it, who knows?

Not gonna lie, my OC Veronica kinda looks like she could be related to Artful Art.

#woody woodpecker #artful art #original character #oc #mostly because their hair looks kind of similar #and they both have a pale skin color #also their body shapes are somewhat similar #that was literally one of my thoughts when I first saw Artful #I thought he looked like he could be related to Veronica #no #part of Veronica's design was not based off him #I found Artful after creating her #I made Veronica back in 2022 #while I discovered Artful just this year around a month or two ago #other than him being an artist #looking like he would be related to Veronica is one of the things that attracted me to him #also his overall character design #he's basically a caricature of a French artist but also has a bit of a gothic look to him #they also each have their little neck accessories #Veronica's spiked choker #and Artful's little neck tie thingy #i'm sorry i don't know what that's called #done rambling now

#personal #random #so anyway's solar's bouquet is picked out #i just have to slap some color on that bad boy #which is unfortunate cuz I suck at coloring #i wanted it to look more natural so i'm putting the colors over the lineart #but now I'm having trouble with shading it #anyways this is really fun and I'm immensely enjoying myself #i found the most perfect flowers #i love analyzing symbolism so so so much #my english teachers would be so proud #symbolism is just so cool cuz it's the equivalent of the author sliding up to you and giving you something #and it looks really innocent and simple but in reality that thing has a ton of lore packed into it #and you now know the struggles of the character because you can see the connections to both the plot and the overall theme of the novel #and it's so fun to tie these things to human nature #and the best part about symbolism is that you can read it in anything and that different people have different ideas!#like if i give you oh i dunno glasses or something #it can represent knowledge and wisdom or it can represent flaws within a character and broken infallibility #or it could just mean glasses!#it really just depends on what you're looking for!#and since i really like tying things to human nature i always find this stuff really fun :)#anyways ahaha sorry for rambling #flowers are so cool...

Suchhhhhhh a good day

•lovely sunny weather but not too hot

•didn’t have work and don’t have work tomorrow

•took a shower in the morning and had my hair braided right after while still wet

•got bakery goods mmm

•made toffee and chopped some up which was really satisfying

•wore two different comfy cute outfits that I really enjoy and feel myself in

•blasted ridiculous songs on the way back from the bakery and looked ridiculous in a lovely way

•crocheted blanket I’m working on

•DIDNT GET A HEADACHE DIDNT GET A GLINT OF HEADACHE NOT EVEN AN INKLING OF PREHEADACHE

As far as getting things accomplished I didn’t do hardly anything but in the business of enjoying life I excelled today!

#my thoughts #one of the outfits was my carhartt overalls with ny light blue tank top #the other is an athletic tank top with athletic shorts but both actually fit me which I haven’t had any that really fit in years so woooo #oh and it’s a black tank top :) I love wearing black and I thought for a long time it was because wearing color made me anxious #but now that I’m pretty much over that I think I just really love wearing black #I feel sexy in it >:)#saying that as someone who literally never rarely ever feels or is compelled to feel “sexy #I think I’m experiencing something like gender euphoria of late #pardon me for using terms not really suited to my situation I don’t know how else to explain it #but basically I’ve never been enthusiastic really about myself and how I present in the world #being called a woman felt not good. felt like I was not a woman because a woman was supposed to be someone who looked and acted certain #“desirable ways #like I was not what society considered to be a woman. girl was fine I guess and I definitely wasn’t a guy. I just felt like woman was #an incredibly high standard to meet that I did not meet nor really wanted to meet. being called a woman made me internally cringe #I’ve known for a while there’s no right way to be a woman but I think I’ve finally internalized that and am at a point #where I truly love myself and accept myself. and now being a woman seems all right. so being a woman feels euphoric to me #and expressing myself in clothing and other presentations is incredibly fun and feels euphoric #I never really had much of an interest before. probably because I felt like there was some standard I had to meet that I couldn’t and didnt #want to meet. but now I’m discovering what I really like and doing things because it’s fun and silly and goofy and it’s so FUN #anyway. thanks for coming to my ted talk #playing around with gender is beneficial to everyone
