"Uno! Take that!" You exclaimed with enthusiasm, celebrating your third victory in the one-on-one game against Javi.
"This is so unfair," Javi said, rolling his eyes. "Let's play again. We're not leaving until I beat your ass." He spoke with determination.
You were grateful that you had packed your Uno deck in your backpack for the trip. Being stuck in a cabin with a bunch of teenagers and having nothing to do except stare at the rooftop for hours turned out to be more boring than you had anticipated.
Since the crash occurred, you and Javi had grown close. While you shared a few classes at school, you had never spoken to him before. But the shared misfortune of being on this trip as guests brought you together — Javi accompanying his dad, the team coach, and you accompanying your older sister, Jackie Taylor, the team captain. Not to mention that both Travis — Javi’s older brother — and Jackie were being assholes.
The initial weeks were challenging, to say the least. Jackie was being extremely annoying — she still is —, constantly bossing you around and disregarding your feelings. It seemed as though she was too absorbed in her own frustrations, always venting about the unfairness of the situation and the social events she was missing out on, like Rutger's rush week and all the frat parties. You knew Jackie didn't mean any harm, but it still bothered you. Additionally, the age gap with everyone being around three years older than you made you feel like an outcast and useless. Thankfully, you and Javi started getting along. You were assigned similar tasks, such as picking berries or fetching water from the lake, since both of you were younger and unable to handle more demanding activities. Thanks to this, you began spending a lot of time together and eventually became very close friends.
"What are you doing?" Javi asked incredulously, his eyebrows furrowing. "You can't play a +2 card after a +4 card," he pointed out.
You were aware that Javi was right, but decided to push back. "Yes, you can. It's literally stated in the instructions," you replied, attempting to gaslight him.
"No, it's not. You're lying," he insisted, firm in his belief.
"Fine, you got me," you admitted, flashing a playful smirk. "I'll take these four cards just so you don’t start crying," you teased.
“Ha, ha, so funny,” Javi responded with a smile.
Interrupting your playful banter, a voice called out from behind. "Hey, Y/n," Jackie said, grabbing your attention. "Have you seen my red lipstick?"
You let out a sigh as you glanced at your sister. Lately, she had been even more irritating than usual, probably because of the problems she was having with Shauna. Not that you were particularly invested in their drama. But the last thing you wanted was to engage in conversation with her, knowing all too well that it would probably lead to another argument.
"Yeah," you responded casually, briefly glancing away before returning to the game.
"Okay... So, where is it?" Jackie asked, her tone growing slightly impatient.
"I used it to write the S.O.S message on the plane," you replied nonchalantly, as if it were the most obvious thing.
"Wait... What?" Jackie exclaimed, her anger starting to rise. "Why the heck would you do that?”
Rolling your eyes, you replied sarcastically, "Oh, I'm sorry, Jackie. I forgot that packing a sharpie was at the top of our survival essentials checklist in the wilderness."
"You didn't even bother asking me!" she complained, her frustration evident.
"Well, maybe I didn't ask because you're such a self-centred bitch, always whining about missing out on your stupid parties," you retorted, your voice tinged with irritation. "It was the only thing I could find to leave a message for whoever might be searching for us. Stop being such an ass. I mean, you clearly wanna get out of here, dont you? Cooperate a little."
Jackie let out a loud huff, her lips pursed and a deep frown etched on her face as she stormed off, making her way towards the cabin. In her haste, she bumped her shoulder harshly into Van, who was heading to the lake. "Hey! Watch out!" Van exclaimed, her voice filled with surprise and annoyance. She followed Jackie's retreating figure with a confused and perplexed expression before turning back to you. You simply shrugged your shoulders, raised your eyebrows, and nonchalantly returned your focus to the game, leaving Van with a sense of bewilderment.
Javi gazed at you in stunned silence, but he didn't utter a word. After all, if someone could understand you it was him, as he had to deal with Travis. Without saying anything about the previous exchange, both of you chose to brush it off and swiftly changed the topic, resuming the game as if nothing had happened.
Three hours had passed since your argument with Jackie. After playing with Javi for about an hour, you decided to lend a hand to Tai with boiling the dirty pads. Once you finished the task, you stayed there for a while, gossiping with her and Van.
“I’m getting kinda cold, I’ll be right back,” you announced, rising from your spot on the ground and making your way towards the cabin to retrieve a hoodie. They nodded in acknowledgment as you left.
You entered the cabin and opened the shared closet, scanning its contents for your favorite hoodie. Once you found it, you slipped it on and turned around, ready to make your exit. However, Jackie stood there, blocking your path to the door.
You tried to walk past her, but Jackie swiftly reached out and grabbed your arm, preventing your escape.“Nope, you’re not leaving. You’re finally gonna tell me what the heck is going on,” she declared, her arms folded and her stance blocking the door knob.
You hesitated for a moment, contemplating your response. "What are you talking about? Nothing's going on," you insisted, trying to downplay the situation.
Jackie pursed her lips, clearly not convinced. "Okay... Liar," she responded, tilting her head slightly.
You made another attempt to leave, but Jackie swiftly blocked your path with her arm. "No! You've been distant and acting weird for weeks. Not to mention how mean you've been towards me," she argued, her frustration evident.
"Well, what did you expect?" you retorted, your voice laced with exasperation. "Huh? The only thing you've done since we got here is complain and do nothing except act like a child. I'm scared and I miss home too, and the fact that my older sister, the person I should be able to rely on the most, is behaving like a brat, doesn't help me at all, okay?" Tears welled up in your eyes as you spoke, the pain evident in your voice. "I just wish you were more like Tai or Van," you expressed, your voice filled with disappointment. "They take better care of me than you do.”
Jackie's expression softened as she listened to your words, her remorse evident on her face. She let out a deep sigh and her shoulders slumped. "I... I didn't realize," she admitted, her voice heavy with regret. "Shit, I'm so sorry, Y/n," she apologized, her words sincere. Without hesitation, she pulled you into a tight hug, holding you close. "I'm really sorry," she whispered, her voice filled with genuine remorse.
Overwhelmed with emotions, you couldn't hold back the tears any longer. "I'm sorry too, for being a bitch," you confessed, your voice filled with regret. "I just wanted my sister back. I'm so scared, Jackie," you admitted.
Jackie gently pulled away from the hug and tenderly wiped away your tears with her fingers. "I'm scared too, but we'll get through this together, okay?" she reassured you, her voice filled with warmth and determination. "Everything will be okay, I promise," she added, a soft smile gracing her lips. A tear escaped from her own eye, reflecting her sincerity. You nodded in response, feeling a renewed sense of hope and comfort in her words.
You embraced Jackie once again, holding onto her tightly. "I love you, Jackie," you whispered, your voice filled with genuine affection. She reciprocated the sentiment, her voice soft and comforting. "I love you too," she replied, her hand gently caressing your hair.
"But, shit, I just lost 10 bucks," you exclaimed, separating from her with a disappointed expression.
Confused, Jackie asked, "What do you mean?" Her fingers continued to caress the sides of your arms.
"Javi and I made a bet about who had the crappiest older sibling," you explained with a mischievous smile. "You apologized before Travis did to him, so now I owe him 10 bucks."
"Oh my god, I can't believe you," Jackie responded, playfully pinching your side. "And don't ever compare me to Travis. I might be a brat, but he seriously needs professional help with his anger issues," she argued.
You burst into laughter. "Yeah, yeah, whatever you say," you replied with a grin, grabbing her by the arm and dragging her outside with you.

gossip girl reboot 2x07 spoilers below !
i feel so bad for monet yall. she was upgraded to main character for maybe 3 episodes and now shes being treated like dirt. everyone of the main cast has had a or multiple love interest(s), and all shes gotten is a queerbaiter ?? seriously ??
and DONT even get me started on her mom. i liked the notion of monet getting her cutthroatness from her mom, and i was excited to see them as a mother daughter duo with flaws of course. but camille just...replacing monet with zoya is cruel, and even crueller when she criticizes monets actions when girl YOU are the parent, YOU are what shes influenced by !!!
luna is still barely a side character who we know nothing about and just gives the others advice. not much else to say really.
dont even get me started on julien and audrey. i went from disliking julien and liking audrey to way the opposite in a WEEK 😭 audrey is making no sense to me. first she wants to reconnect with her dad and his mistress, gets mad when julien calls them out and says maybe they really are in love and seemed to believe julianna (the mistress idk her name) when she said they didnt cheat, gets mad when gg posts a most likely fake email that julien sent to her dad saying she saw them, then gets even more mad when julien tries to talk to the girl to get the truth and gets manipulated. this is on audrey to me because i would not trust the man and woman who so thoroughly broke my mother down like we saw kiki at the start of season 1.
i hope georgina and kate both go to jail im so sick of seeing them yall i stg.
obies storyline is still so....fucking boring and hes do disconnected from the group the contrast to his scenes is so jarring. and i saw him trying to flirt with julien like PLEASE dont try her after you got mad at HER because she exposed ur lil girlfriend was a brother fucker.
aki is just kinda there. but i like him much more this season so he can just be there and im cool <3
max is trying to win the approval of audreys cheatin ass dad who is judging him and. oh the irony.
still heavily dislike zoya i wish i didnt but oooo lets just say you can tell shes a fifteen year old girl (incredibly annoying).
i wrote this 33 mins into the 57 min episode so i might rant more if something pisses me off. im gonna write more monet fics since the writers wanna do her dirty. bye.

Hmmm…. seems to me like they assumed ej would be the one person Ricky would answer. And yes they were ALL worried but my Caswen heart going crazy bc EJ WAS THE FIRST TO TEXT- and then plays it casual. Like, “I’m not worried but the others are”
“someone was worried about you and told me to message you…” i am combusting where the hell is my slow burn caswen frenemies storyline ??? we have truly been robbed of this shit like they really couldn’t take two seconds out of the boring ass romance plots to toss in a couple more awkward i-don’t-know-if-we’re-friends scenes like the ‘you’re wearing all black one’? also wait actually at first i was thinking oh ej probably wasn’t the first to text there’s prob someone else underneath but like. who? nini and gina are out for obvious reasons. perhaps caswen does stay winning……
also don’t get me started unpacking ej being the first to text and phrasing it like someone else forced him to like first of all ej’s obviously a person who looks after his own and that probably reluctantly includes ricky so the minute big red was like uhhhhh yeah ricky’s going through it during the group call you know ej was immediately getting out his phone to be like what’s up with disaster boy bowen? ‘someone’ was worried about him? ej couldn’t even be bothered to make up who it was. the someone is ej. fool.
also it annoys me that the props dept isn’t more fun on this show like who the hell has their friends in their phone as their actual names ?? where’s the nicknames?? where’s the nonsensical inside jokes??? where’s the emojis, people!!!!! between this and the wardrobe dept the crew for hsmtmts are boring and don’t know what they’re doing bye

Hey guys! So even though I mostly post Voltage USA related content on the blog, I also did/do play some of Voltage Japan games as well. Though I don't really anymore considering that it mostly consists of men and also lis these days are either predictable or boring sooooo.... But if there was one franchise in the Voltage Japan that I love to play, it's the Liar games! The game are basically calling out fake assholes and finding the "right" person and the stand out in these games is usually the MCs cause their not the usual MCs that voltage puts out. So I'm gonna talk about them from worst to best. Some people might get mad while some might agree but anyway let's get it

Compared to the other two MCs on this list, SS MC feels so boring to say the least and might I say.....kind of dumb. Like the whole purpose of this game is to get suspicious and gather clues from other people but sometimes she gets suspicious over the most stupidest things, like in the last chapter of the game she keeps thinking Shotaro is lying to her cause he kept touching his nose which is supposably a sign that someone is lying when A. a day ago she literally watched a commercial about allergy medicine and she said herself that it was allergy season so you would think that he has allergies and B. Unless you were like a terrible liar then you wouldn't touch your nose that much if you're lying. Also in the 7th chapters, she thought her friends were trying to steal Shotaro/Sosuke from her when she literally isn't going out with either one of them at the time and she didn't know who she liked again at the time, like wtf. Also another thing is that unlike the other two MCs who have jobs and that's why they have money to get shit, this mc was born into a wealthy family so her relatability is already done by a lot, I don't want to read about how every night she can go partying with friends with loads of money while I can't even bye movie tickets. P.s. Her and Shotaro become endgame in the story and they are literally one of the most unbelievable couples in the liar series, especially on her part.
2. Now people might get mad at me for this placement but
Yeah ok so let's talk about the positives first: she's pretty, she's knows how to stand her ground and fight back, and she at least has a job so that's cool......now for the negatives and the main one is that she's a hypocritical bitch. Like idk if I'm the only one who thinks this but I just don't like her. She consistently judges other based on their appearances even if their a nice person and I kind of lowkey think she's homophobic considering her reaction to Johnny whenever she meets him (Johnny best character btw) same with the SS mc. And she swears that she's like the most perfect person ever when she's lying about her life and lifestyle to her other suitors in order to get her perfect man ugh... Two examples of her being a complete hypocrite is in the 7th chapter she accuses Kazuki of being an addict, with her only major evidence being that he's tired alot and white power she found, and turns he's not an addict at all but he infact has a heart condition that if he doesn't take his medicine he will likely die. And does she apologize for accusing him for being an addict....nope that would be too nice of her, she instead just says she feels bad she accused him and just leaves....with no apology.....wtf. Another example is actually in the squeal of Itaru's story where she finds that he actually knew her since childhood and he has loved her all this time (not sure why, he needs to get better taste) and decided to change for her because she actually called him ugly before in said childhood when he did confess to her and then she has the audacity to call him a complete liar afterwards and that she can't believe he deceived her WHEN SHE IS LITERALLY DOING THE SAME THING YOU FUCKING HYPOCRITICAL ASSHOLE... I'm not going to ramble anymore so just to recap, I do not like this bitch but she's certainly more interesting then the SS MC (Itaru, you deserve better then this fucking bitch and I hope in whatever universe you can find someone better)
And for 1.
Yes! This is my favorite mc and probably the best mc (at least in the English version) in the liar series! First of all, she can actually take care of herself and knows how actually take stuff seriously and be professional about it. Even if she doesn't like somebody she's know she can't flip out over them because it wouldn't be the right time or place to do so, especially in an office setting. I also actually like how they handled her and her ex-boyfriend's (Taichi) plot line as she doesn't really forgive him but she knows that he's at least sorry and feeling guilty about cheating on her with her fucking bitch of a friend, and that they can put it aside and go their separate ways (unlike the other stories in the series) it's the same with the people she exposed, besides some people who left because she either didn't want them for things that were either gross or unforgivable, she remains mature with them and knows that even though that they can't be trusted, she works with because well they still have the job but also they're trying to be better. I also think she has some of the best relationships with the characters, especially with Keisuke, who is her endgame in work and love. God I love their relationship, like it's start off with Keisuke being kind of cold to her but it eventually turns into a relationship filled with respect and even minor teasing with one another, plus he's legit the only one in the cast of characters who actually went to her apartment in the liar storyline and got to be more comfortable with her, god I love them both. Anyway the OD MC is one of the best MCs in the series and I absolutely love her. Bonus points to her having a cute-ass cat.

Shout out to that time in the preboot universe, when Lilith showed up to Donna’s wedding to the red-headed man she’d once prophesied Donna would marry and who would die horribly and thus is the reason Donna broke up with Roy originally, thinking the prophecy was about him, (its a long story, just go with it).....
.....and so then here’s Lilith just popping up at the Wedding of Doom she forewarned against, after being out of touch for ages, but she’s flying solo with no plus one and thus no sign of her caveman boyfriend Gnaark (its a long story, just go with it) and when all the other Titans were like hey wtf where’s Gnaark she was just like oh something terrible happened there but I don’t want to get into it now, its a wedding, cheers, because Lilith just does that, when she’s done talking she’s done talking lmao.....
....and then this winged angel named Azrael started popping up all the time and the other Titans are like wtf Lilith, is this dude stalking you, and she just casually waves them off and is like oh yeah, he’s been doing that for ages, he wants me to be his ‘mate’ or whatever, its this whole thing. Don’t worry about it though, its no big deal.’ Because again, Lilith’s just like that.
And then when Azrael keeps showing up Lilith starts glowing every time he’s near and turning into a combustion engine about to blow, and her teammates are like Lil, once again we are just here begging you to call this a big deal, this dude seems to be turning you into a human glowstick, but Lilith is just like omg stop being so dramatic, that has nothing to do with him even, I’ve been having those little ‘heat attacks’ for like years, and the Titans are like WTF LIL, WHY DID YOU NOT MENTION THIS BEFORE, and she’s just like ‘I forgot to okay, god, get off my ass already’ and she stormed off and dramatically quit the team with a huff and a “AND IM NEVER COMING BACK except for when I totally will cuz I already foresee this apocalypse we’re gonna have to prevent in like two years, so nobody take my room okay, thanks bye, and NO DICK, I DON’T WANT TO TALK ABOUT THE UPCOMING APOCALYPSE JEEZ I HAVE OTHER THINGS TO WORRY ABOUT RIGHT NOW, I’LL GET TO IT WHEN I GET TO IT'’.....because I mean....Lilith. *shrugs*
And then she came back and joined the team during the Terror of Trigon storyline and she was all dramatic and prophesizing left and right except lol it wasn’t really Lil as she was possessed by a bajillion Azarath spirits who were like, hey we’re gonna hijack you to cleanse Raven of evil, sorry not sorry, but don’t worry, we’ll tidy up after ourselves before we leave’....
And then she got depossessed and Azrael starting popping up again and she starting doing her human glowstick thing again except this time with actual fire actually burning shit all around her, and Lilith’s like “okay, fine, I’m willing to concede now that this MIGHT be an issue,” and everyone’s like GEE YOU THINK???
And her ‘heat attacks’ were now big and noticeable enough that they eventually got the attention of Lilith’s birth mother, cuz Lilith had been adopted and found that out and started searching for her birth parents and answers about her powers and where she came from when she was like, thirteen (its a long story, just go with it), and so Lilith’s flame on moments finally caught her birth mother’s attention and she showed up and was like surprise, oh hey and also I’m the Greek Titan of the sun, who escaped from Tartarus awhile back and came up with this whole plan to get back at Zeus and the rest of those turds by making a secret weapon baby - that’s you hon, so proud of you - and yeah your dad was just this rich dude who had a company I wanted to take over, I just kinda incinerated him once I had you and didn’t need him anymore, sorry but its not a big loss he was kinda dull, you wouldn’t have liked him anyway, but also, then this random nurse kidnapped you and derailed my master plan of using a toddler Titan to topple the Olympians, but now I’ve found you and we can get right back to that, and that’s what you missed on Glee!’
Cue the rest of the Titans being like......ummm, we have some questions and also some concerns, but Lilith’s just like huh, so what you’re saying is I’m a divine celestial being? Huh, yeah that tracks. Okay, I believe you! But also I don’t like your plan and I think you kinda suck so I’m gonna like....not do that and instead help the gods defeat you again sorry not sorry but I mean yeah, I’m just not feeling it here, I don’t think this mother/daughter thing is gonna work out on account of the you sucking part.
So then that happened and then Zeus was like, hey we’re down a demigod, how would you like to be a goddess? And Lilith’s like yeah, that sounds good, I’m not busy right now. And the rest of the Titans are like umm, Lilith? The team? We do occasionally save the world and protect people and stuff? And she’s just like oh relax, you’ll be fine without me and I’ll be back in time to help out with that alien invasion in a couple years....and Dick’s like wait what, but Lilith’s already gone and getting her demigoddess on. Because, y’know. Its Lilith. She has her priorities figured out.
And then post-Crisis she eventually rejoins the team as the masked and mysterious figure Omen, who wouldn’t reveal her secret identity, because like, she’s Lilith, and she decided hey I’m just not gonna let the team know that its me and just like, idk see what happens. No particular reason.
Except then she’s abducted by this villain named Haze and she has to use her powers to summon the original Titans to free her, at which point her identity is revealed and she’s like yeah, surprise, it was me the whole time, and the Fab Five are all like WHAT THE HELL LILITH, and she’s like WHAT, I WAS BORED, LET ME HAVE HOBBIES.....and also at this time she and the Titans found out oh btw, turns out that whole backstory about you being the daughter of that Titan was a lie, we’re not really sure how that works but just FYI, you’re actually just the illegitimate daughter of this super rich tycoon, and also FYI, Haze is actually your half brother who hates you because of something to do with the dad you didn’t even know existed, soooooo....that’s a thing....
And then she goes back to the Titans for awhile, still as Omen but with everyone now knowing its her under the cloak and mask, the jig is up, Lilith’s like ugh, lame, now what am I supposed to do for fun. But then it also turned out that for some reason that was never actually made clear, now she also had telekinetic and illusion casting powers and she was like ooooh now these I can have fun with. Coincidentally, like, half the team decided now would be a good time to take a sabbatical and focus on their own cities.
And THEN she was kidnapped by Vandal Savage, who wanted to make her use her powers to divine the perfect lineup of bad guys to take down the Titans once and for all, and Lilith’s like ‘well shit, you got me, guess I gotta do what you want,’ except of course she purposely chooses villains she foresees the Titans beating, which they do of course, and then they beat Savage, and Lilith is just like, dude, I know I’m the only precog here, but how did you not see this coming, like seriously, what on earth made you think there was gonna be any other way this was gonna go? OMG you’re so stupid, what happened to all the smart villains, ugh even being kidnapped is boring now, lame.
And then she died, and like, never actually came back except as a spirit in one story and a Black Lantern in that Blackest Night event, and that sucked. But oh well.
Anyway, the point is I miss THAT Lilith, the unpredictable, whimsical, always dragging chaos in her wake and not giving a shit because look its not her fault Destiny is like totally obsessed with her....
She was just a guaranteed source of WTF and she did it all with unnecessary flair and drama and she was one hundred percent a primary reason Dick Grayson was destined to have gray hairs by the time he was thirty, but oh well, that was just the price of being friends and teammates with her, because Lilith was just...*sighs* she was just so Lilith.
That’s really the only way to sum her up. A dozen writers took her in a dozen different directions cuz they couldn’t decide what to do with her so she ended up doing everything and being extremely extra about it which really tied it all together and just made it a universal truth that when it comes to Lilith, don’t just expect the unexpected, like....just accept that with her anything is possible and plausible and the most random shit will end up connected to her and you just gotta roll with it, because that’s just how it goes with her.

2. A HERO OF EVERY RANDOM GIRL
One long while later, Julia sat in a train, stuck between her own backpack, the ancient rusty bike frame and the not so ancient Dave.
She was thirsty, sweaty, probably smelled worse than she could imagine (which wasn't a compliment at all), exhausted and a little bit annoyed but still in somehow good mood. There were only nine of them left now, sitting in a train from Redding to Portland, including herself, Dave, both Jack's, a way-too-sweet-and-cheesy couple, and three other guys. The rest of the great group she had met in the inn said their goodbyes to the most of their members on a way to Redding, making Julia stand by and watch everyone saying their hurried seeyousoooon's, patting each others shoulders and giving friendly, firm hugs and handshakes for nearly half an hour. As Julia stood by and later, when she remembered the small details over their long, boring train ride, she couldn't think of one person she had known back home she could possibly might want to give a hug and promise she'll see them soon somewhen again, let alone someone from America. Dave, whom she knew for a day was at that time probably one of the people who got the closest to her, which speaks for itself.
She was getting too lost in her own thoughts when Jack brought her back to reality with his rather loud, drunken exclamation:
"Fuck man, my woman better be there, 'cause I ain't..-" he hiccupped, gave a though to the possibility the sound might have come from someone else, abandoned the thought and finally found out he had no idea where he left off.
"We know, darling boy," Dave interrupted, "you got no more patience with these stinky trains, and stinky bikes with fuckin' leather seats that get all sucked to your ass when you try to sit on them for a while, and stinky.. well, I guess I made my point. We've already heard all that, man. Maybe calm down."
Dave watched him for a while with a clearly exhausted look on his face, then turned to Julia and shrugged his shoulders.
"He's just tired, as we all are," she pointed out.
Dave nodded, then leaned closer to her, if it even was physically achievable.
"Irons told me earlier today we'll have to head up to Seattle pretty soon."
Julia waited for some other information to follow, then urged him with a little nudge.
"We'll take a detour from Portland, to drive some fellas back to where they belong, and then return these stinky bikes to their rightful owner."
"Why do you have them anyway?"
"You know, it hasn't come to that yet. Or, it has, I just wasn't there when it happened, so I don't have all the information," Dave trailed off, then remembered what he was saying, "you see, it should work like that: When the guy who check's the tickets comes, we ain't got any tickets, so he'll-"
"-WE DON'T NEED NO TICKETS!"
Julia and Dave both turned just in time to see Jack Irons gesture wildly to a small, old lady who seemed to be just the person they were talking about.
"We're here on bikes. We got these unlimited tickets for train rides. For one month. With bikes. Yes, we payed for them on the train station. There's the price down there. Yes, there really is such option."
The lady didn't seem to comprehend what he was saying, so he tried again.
"See these bikes? We got a ticket, which we bought and paid for at the train station, that allows us to travel, for one month straight, whichever train we choose, as if we had bought the ticket for exactly this train. It was an offer for bikers and hitch hikers and god knows who else. Yes lady, we I got the ticket right there," Jack explained.
The poor lady finally resigned and made her way to the next couple of passengers. Jack turned to us, held his thumbs up and grinned.
"Yeah, that's what I was saying, right there, " Dave added matter-of-factly. Julia chuckled a bit, giving the leather seat a friendly pat. She thought of the lady telling the story to her daughter, waving with her hands all around and wearing an outraged and somewhat still confused expression. She envied the lady for knowing where she was going, and she envied Dave and Jack and Jack and the other people for knowing where they were going. She'd like to know too, or to have someone make that decision for her. But all she knew was she might and might not go to Seattle, or Montana, or Alaska, or she might and might not leave the group wherever their next stop is.
She came to America just the same way. She didn't mind, but it did annoy her now and then a little, just like now.
"D'you know any drinking games?" Jack asked. There were a few suggestions, but unfortunately they had to wait. Obviously the train just stopped in Portland, where Irons should have his van parked, waiting for taking a detour to Seattle.
They got off, said bye to Jack, who was way too drunk to properly understand there was already his girlfriend waiting for him, and found Jack Irons's van. It was once white, had only 6 seats and a big trunk. They managed go fit all their backpacks and two bicycles in there, then quickly seated Julia on Dave's knees (just temporarily, as she was assured) and the same procedure repeated with the one couple in their group.
Soon, there were eight of them in the van, listening to a cassette record from some Seattle band Green River, a band Julia had never heard of but was obviously well known to the rest, chatting and playing one of the games that had been suggested earlier, but without the drinking part.
Julia didn't participate at first, but when the couple got off some half an hour later, she decided to play truth or dare with the rest.
"Soo..what do you do for a living?" Dave tilted his head as it was his time to give a question to Julia.
"You mean, apart from having obviously no job?"
He nodded seriously.
"I was working on becoming a tattoo artist back home. Worked in a studio since I turned 18, it's like the 21 here in America. Started tattooing when I was 16, so I had some experience. I also worked as a part-time waitress, to earn enough money to pay my rent and save some little extra."
"So you're a real tattoo artist then?"
She nodded, glad they didn't seem to mind.
Now, it was Dave's turn and he wisely chose a dare, because, as he said "why fucking not".
"I dare you to get a tattoo of our very own design when Julia gets a place in some studio," Irons said calmly.
Everyone else nodded enthusiasticly and expectantly turned their heads to Julia.
"Woah guys, I don't even know if someone will have me.."
"Of course they will, we leave you at someone's doorstep in Seattle and come back in two months to get the tattoo done."
She turned unbelievably to Irons, then to the rest of them.
"You're not joking, are you?"
"No. You want to go to Seattle?"
Julia hesitated. Did she want to go to Seattle? Did she finally have a direction, a destination for a while? Did she want one?
"I guess I do," she exhaled.
Loud cheering came, then one of the men returned their attention to the previous topic:
"I suggest you get a limp dick with some nice tribal pattern tattooed."
That started a very soulful discussion:
"Man, how could I-"
"How 'bout a teddy bear?"
"A vacuum?"
"Get a lacy panties, dude."
"Why not just some text?"
"Yeah, tribal limp dick in a very stylish, pink letters."
"That's sick man, one hell of a tattoo."
"Fuck off, assholes."
"So the panties, right?"
The conversation continued for a while, leaving Julia stunned at how stupid some ideas could be. After a while, Irons summoned some notebook and a pen and got Dave to describe his vision of the tattoo.
"I want a space to be there, some astronaut with stars and planets and all that shit. Uhh should represent, like, how great our mind can be..."
Julia started sketching, somehow feeling this design is going to be great.
"Oh, and one planet's gonna wear lacy panties, like, pink or purple or something," one of the guys interrupted.
"And the astronaut's gonna wear sunglasses, that'll do great man."
"He'll be floating near the she-planet."
"And there'll be, like, a galaxy and Uranus and everything in the background."
"Uranus? That's just disgusting, man."
"Oh and some text above it, like Girl power, or Ladies night."
"In pink! Make it match to the panties!"
"What happened with the vacuum?"
"How about 'Girls night in the vacuum'?"
"That's stupid."
"Well, it'll match you, perfect. Asshole."
"No, it's great, come on man."
"Girls night in the vacuum?"
There was a collective "Yeaaaaah" of approval and Dave sank defeated in his seat.
Some minutes later Julia finished her drawing and showed it to the rest of them. Dave's face lightened up, Irons held his thumb up and the rest cheered and screamed and compliment each other.
"I'll buy that picture from you, to torture him with it," Irons said finally.
"What?"
"Yeah, it's good."
"I mean, you can have it for free.. but, out of curiosity, what would you trade it for?"
Irons smiled knowingly, then, in an offhand manner, he noted:
"A place in Seattle. I know a guy who might be looking for a roommate."
Julia grinned wildly, then pushed the paper in his hand, together with a loud peck on a cheek.
"You, mister, are a hero of every random girl you pick up in California," she exclaimed and met with other round of cheers.
Author's note: I'll try to post my own version of the tattoo design somewhen soon (hopefully). Yeah anywayy hope you liked it, it's got like 1 (ONE) note so it's already exceeded my expectations 😂😍 In the next chapter I want to finally have some MLB/Pearl Jam content so the storyline can get somewhat less random! also sorry for any grammar errors, I'm not a native speaker and I'm too lazy to look up every second word or proof read so..

With all the news and the celebration on Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, I thought... let's spread some positive vibes by remembering what you love about the trilogy. So.. here is what I love about Mass Effect :)
I've been a fan since: 2007/2008
I got the game not long after it came out. It looked interesting and a friend recommended to play it. It had not been long since I had got into Xbox 360 (was my brother's Xbox that I was using) - I was still playing on PS2 or the PC (very into Sims back then). So thought I'd give it ago. I found it hard at first (never played a game like that). But after the first mission I stopped playing, as I was sad that two characters died. I didn't get a chance to finish that playthrough as my brother then sold his Xbox and I lost my saves (and even some of my games). Oh well.
Luckily later in 2008 my dad kindly bought me a new xbox 360, so I could play games again and play with my friend. I still had Mass Effect and started it again. After I finished the first mission, I was able to finally carry on and I fell in love with it!
It was the first time I experienced a game that you could do dialogue choices and I romanced Kaidan :) I didn't managed to collect everything or explore everything (and Ashley Killed wrex, so I left her ass behind on Vimire because of that. lmao). But think I did well on my first playthrough!
Favourite game of the series: Mass Effect 3. It's the dlc and romantic interactions that wins it all for me. The story is great too and the abilities are so much fun to do. Though I think the story of ME2 is spot on and was my favourite game before Citadel DLC came out.
Mshep or Fshep? Femshep! I have played MaleShep a couple of times, but just prefer playing a female character. I've actually met Mark Meer in person and he's such a cool guy.
Earthborn, Colonist, or Spacer: I don't really have a favourite. I've done earthborn and spacer multiple times. But my last play through was Colonist, and it was nice to see the extra dialogue, when you arrive on a colony mission and I felt it suited my Shepard for my storyline.
Soldier, Biotic or Tech? Biotic 100% I don't do anything else. I've only played as Vanguard or Sentinel (which is half tech and Biotic). Having biotic abilities is so much fun in this game!! If you pick soldier then you're boring, sorry 🤣
Paragon or Renegade: Paragon mainly with just a few renegade options thrown in.. I've never done a renegade playthrough, I just couldn't bare it 😤 I never like losing characters.
Favourite class: Sentinel! Find it very handy that I can be Tech and Biotic at the same time, and If don't have anyone who is tech. Though Kaidan is usually always with me and he's a Sentinel aswell lol. I might do Vanguard when I start Legendary edition though as the Biotic Charge is so fun!
Favourite companions: Kaidan, Garrus, James, Wrex & Grunt.
Least Favourite: umm maybe Jacob? Didn't find him very useful and boring 🙈
Squad choices:
ME1: Kaidan and Garrus
ME2: Garrus and Grunt
ME2: Kaidan, and Garrus/James
Favourite in game romance: Kaidan as femShep and Jack as MShep.
Favourite NPC: CONRAD VERNER 🤣
Favourite Antagonist: Kai Leng.. I hate him because of what he did to Thane. When you get to finally fight him, this is where I use a Renegade option.
Favourite loyalty mission: Garrus (It's so cool when he comes out and you find out he's Archangel) and Grunt (Tuchanka. Wrex. THRESHER MAW? Need to say more?!
Favourite missions:
ME1: Noveria- I always bring Liara (and it's the only time Liara leaves the ship) because I want her to be able to say goodbye to her mother. It's always sad and I also love helping Tali out with her Pilgrimage.
ME2: Suicide Mission? Like the music, all the choices you have to do. So many serious consequences if you get it wrong.. I had to restart this mission so many times to get the right choices and not loose anyone. Horizon was great too, but I want to kick Kaidan in the ass for him not believing me.
ME3: ugh everything was so good. Priority Thessia, and every other world that has been attacked. Thessia is the first planet Shepard tries to save and yet we still have to watch it fall, despite our best efforts. It’s the first time we fully get to see the repercussions of the Council not listening to Shepard and the warnings about the Reapers. It's also the first time we watch Shepard completely fall apart because the planet couldn’t be saved no matter how hard they tried.
Then finally London of course. Saying bye to your crew/romantic interest makes me tear up.
Favourite DLC: Bring down the Sky, Lair of the Shadow Broker, Leviathan and Citadel.
Control, Synthesis or Destroy?: Destroy. Always. My Shepard always lives.
Favourite weapon: Biotic powers 😅 but I do like the particle rifle you get from Horizon.
Favourite place: the Citadel Apartment and on the Normandy with all the crew.

Supernatural 15.03
Compared to last week's epi this is a masterpiece.
And judging it on its own....it's actually pretty good!
There's some good content in here, and I will get to it, but not everything worked so before singing praises....
My biggest problem in this episode is Castiel. I've made no secret of my hatred for this character but after this episode my hatred has grown which I didn't even think was possible. He is so fucking annoying and such a hypocrite, he calls demon!Jack an abomination because the demon is wearing Jack as a coat when he's doing/has done the same thing with Jimmy Novak for years! Hell, he's still wearing the clothes Jimmy was wearing back in s4! And angels need vessels, half of them have gone running around using people as coats, haven't heard him call his own kind abominations.
And, if him being an annoying hypocrite wasn’t enough, he killed demon!Jack which meant the spell didn't work so Rowena had to sacrifice herself. And, if you're thinking of going 'what was he supposed to do he had no other option' he could have just beaten him up! Or tried to use the crook himself after beating him/killing him. Or just let the demon do what he was gonna do and deal with it later because between the two evils: hundreds of angry spirits that keep growing in numbers contained in a small suburb that are ready to break free and cause havoc or hyped on power low level demon that thinks it's a god the demon is the lesser evil. And by lesser evil I mean probably easier to deal with; he's so fucking useless the one time he does something he fucks it up.
On the small side of things, the effects are still pretty bad, spn is your budget ok? And while I don't give a fuck about the character of Arthur Ketch I did use to find him interesting and I think it's a pity he got turned into this and had such a boring death. What a fucking waste, I'd be more upset if I cared more.
But I don't!
Moving on, the whole Lilith's crook thing is such a plot device it's annoying. I'll give it to the writer he tried to make it less obvious of a plot device by having Castiel ask why they hadn't heard of that thing before and demon!Jack giving a simplistic answer: because Lillith and Crowley didn't need it but his attempt failed, it's still an obvious plot device. You expect me to believe that Crowley wouldn't have loved to have gotten his hands on that thing? Especially during season 6 when he and Castiel had that whole soul thing going, this tool probably would have made that quest easier/faster for them; and Crowley and Lilith are not the only ones to sit on the throne what about Lucifer and the KFC dude? You want me to believe Lucifer wouldn't have loved the chance to get his hands on this thing and make himself God like? No, show. No. The real reason why Lilith's crook had never been mentioned before is because the plot didn't require it to exist.
By the way, demon!Jack wanting to absorb the spirits and demons and whatnot to become god-like is pretty much the exact thing Castiel did back in s6 when he opened Purgatory to get all those souls. Is that what made you so angry Castiel that demon!Jack reminded you of what an abomination you are and of one of your mistakes? The demon even lied to Sam and Dean just like you did back in season 6!
Moving on!
I assume this wasn't actually the end of Chuck's apocalypse cause if it is then this isn't just a sloppy ass ghostpocalypse it's also a half-assed one. I'm not a fan of this storyline but they ruined a good character to get it so they better use it instead of discarding it.
All of that being said, there was good in this episode!
There was not one but two Sam and Dean scenes, and one of them was Dean trying to comfort Sam about what he had to do to Rowena. Plus there were some little things like some casual touching.
There was Sam using magic! I loved that, I want more!
The ghost town part of Chuck's apocalypse seems to be over which is good cause it was getting boring.
There was Dean calling what was happening a sloppy ass ghostpocalypse and Chuck a glorified fanboy, which cracked me the fuck up cause that's an accurate description of what this storyline is and of Dabb.
And then there was my favorite part, usually I hate Dean and Castiel scenes but in this episode I loved it, it was a highlight for me; Dean finally told off that jackass.
Castiel tried to defend himself going "[about the plan] something went wrong, something always goes wrong" and Dean went "Why does that something always seem to be you?" me @ Dean: You tell him baby! 👏👏👏👏
And Castiel decides to leave but not before saying: "you and Sam have each other" which YES THEY DO BITCH YES THEY DO! Good bye, don’t let the door hit you on the way out!
And I am paraphrasing and shortening this scene for the sake of this post but if you hate the useless potato sack as much as I do I highly recommend seeing it, it's a lot of fun. Listen- listen I don't care if this only lasts one episode, any time I can get of him away from my screen and/or away from my boys I will celebrate.
And this whole episode is filled with Dean being angry at Castiel which I personally like.
I can't end this post without talking about the big thing that happens in this episode: Rowena's death. Y'all know how much I love this character, some of y'all know I did not want her to die especially so early in the season but, while I wish she hadn't died till later on, I would be lying if I said I didn't think her death was handled properly; I hate what led to her death but her actual death, when she decides she's going to sacrifice herself was a beautiful scene. So, I’m not mad that she died, I wish it had been later on, and I am sad about it but I think it was handled properly.
Ruth's and Jared's acting was fucking amazing, I love that it was just Sam and Rowena in that scene and nobody else, it was heart wrenching and my heart breaks for Sam having to do what he did 💔
My beautiful Rowena, you will be missed but you shall live on in fandom 😭
I think this episode is worth checking out if you haven’t already seen it; it has moments, it has highlights and, in my personal opinion, the good content in it outweighs the bad.

So I was nostalgic about seasons 2 and decided to choose for every remake I watched the ONE thing in the season I think they did best out of all the remakes.
- Druck: 1. The first kiss: I don’t know what it is about it but it’s my favorite out of all the first Noorhelm kisses (also one of my favorite first kisses in general in Skam), the music and the timing and the fact that it somehow caught us by surprise even if we knew it was coming, Mia’s little smile. Just pure magic. 2. Alex panic attack, I don’t think we talk enough of how talented Cris is, that scene made me sob like a baby and it gave us everything that William never did –or, actually, everything that about William was always only implied. Easily one of the best scene in the whole Skam universe.
- Skam Italia: 1. The entire sleepover clip: one of the longest and most beautiful in the whole Skam universe, that incredible one shot sequence that gave Joseph Harding a boner, “Tisanina?”, the teasing and the chemistry on fire, EDOARDO INCANTI SINGING CREEP have you ever heard anything more beautiful because I sure as hell haven't. 2. The fight scene: the fact that we saw how everything started on screen a few episodes before (and I loved that it all started by Marti being a good protective friend to Eva) and then culminating with Rich King Incanti chairing the shit out of some homophobes to defend Marti while the boysquad was also ready to kill: poetic cinema.
- Skam Austin: It’s funny because I went from genuinely disliking the first half of the season and not being into this remake much to CRYING MY EYES OUT as soon as the SA storyline started. So for sure: 1. The aftermath of the SA, the morning after, Grace waking up and going home, how slow everything was and how we could feel her panic while waiting for the Uber, it was just so real and close as if we were actually inside her head. And then the scene where Grace runs out of the shop and tells the girlsquad what happened, I cried during that entire scene and Kennedy was really incredible, I don’t care what everyone says about Austin actors, she did amazing. 2. “I thought you were chill.” It always makes me the happiest watching William’s brother get told off, but this was my favorite after the OG.
- Wtfock: Okay here’s the thing, I wasn’t into wtfock at all when I watched this season because it just didn’t inspire me as a remake (I hadn’t even finished season 1 at the time) and I watched season 2 “by accident”, just because I kept seeing the clips on IG, and funnily enough it was this season that made me change my mind on wtfock, not season 3 (even if I AM Sander’s bitch don’t get me wrong): I can’t even name a specific thing, I just liked every scene between Zoe and Seanne, even when they didn’t change much they still felt different. But: 1. Probably the hottest making-out at school scenes and 2. I know it wasn’t in season 2 but since it’s a continuation of that storyline, I LOVE how now it’s the first time we get to see on screen the whole testifying thing going down and with Seanne being supportive as fuck and wanting his brother ass in jail. 3. Also Seanne and Zoe are the first Noorhelm couple to adopt a child, they make such a cute family with their son Robbe.
- Skam France: Feel free to complete this in the comments with a thing/moment they did best in your opinion (I can’t because I got bored and never finished season 2, sorry, but a good thing I heard a lot about is the Lucas/Manon friendship, which I also saw in season 3 –the couch scene where they cry together is one of my faves from Skam France. Also the fact that Manon poured her drink on the asshole’s head deserves an honorable mention I feel –yes, I totally watched that scene because I will ALWAYS watch that scene in every universe possible.)
- SkamNL: I MISS MY BABIES YOU MONSTERS GIVE THEM BACK #RENEWSKAMNL. Anyway. 1. The parallel clip of Liv and Noah getting ready and how he was waiting for her at the door with that ridiculous smirk, and the run for the stairs while she took the elevator, and in general just everything about their dynamic, Noah felt like his own character and in general the first half of the season was incredible. 2. I know I already gave the sleepover to Skam Italia but honestly the whole mother storyline here was so different that I don’t even consider it the same thing, I specifically live for the moment Noah is like “okay bye” and she leaves and then she goes “hell no” and walks right back in and invites herself over lmao 3. Every single time Liv sings.

(I mean don’t get me wrong: it WAS self defense against someone literally stalking and trying to rape Tyra, but the point still stands that if Landry was a black kid he’d have been tried as an adult and convicted no doubt)

-wow Riggins protecting Julie from the SUPER DRAMATIC TORNADO that made me laugh. Do we get to have a Riggins-Julie friendship??? bc I’d be down. We need more friendships.
-Thank you, Tami, saying “EW” to her sister watching Riggins work out! Someone has sense to know a fully grown woman shouldn’t be lusting after a teenager! Julie can lust if she wants tho, that’s age appropriate.
-DYING at Landry being aghast that Tyra’s never heard of West Side Story.
-oh god, Lyla — it is totally fair to assume your mom would tell your dad she’s getting remarried, especially if she knew you’d be seeing him — so I’m sorry you’re the one who accidentally set off whatever nonsense Buddy is gonna pull now that he knows his ex wife is “marrying that treehugger.”

-Aw poor Julie got drunk af to deal with all her feelings. This really is the season where they have Julie and Matt being sixteen year olds in the most painful ways. So maybe it’s good they’re not together during this tho I’m still looking forward to when the tide turns their way again.
-anyway, Tim is a good friend for getting the creep who thought he was “one beer away from getting laid” off of Julie.
-And....in true Texas dad fashion, Eric Taylor misinterprets everything! Noooo. We can’t have nice things.
-This Noelle-Smash partnership is definitely an interesting pairing. Two very ambitious football people courting all these recruiters while Smash’s mom side eyes them in the corner? Hilarious.
-omg not this Oklahoma tech recruiter harassing smash’s mom in the grocery store! GTFO here! Give her some fucking personal space. They really do such a good job of showing as much of the toxic shit about football culture as the inspiring, big moments.
-Aw and I love that Tami tried to help Mama Smash get the guy to go away. It’s such a familiar scene, women helping each other get a dude harassing them away. And then they have a heart to heart in the parking lot? Love that.
-omg what a throwback that Shelly TAPED OVER Eric’s football game to tape a NEW EPISODE of The Office! Love it. “Y’all should get a TiVo.”
-omg watching Tami and Eric work out arguments is so beautiful, they communicate very well! We stan a good marriage.
-wow seeing the other coach from tornado school lose his shit publicly after he knocked down Riggins was uh....wild???? This is the second time he put his hands on Riggins!
-awww Eric actually coming to apologize to riggins for overreacting about Julie when he hears the real story??? Love it.

-hearing that Lyla burned her cheerleading uniform is one of the most badass things she’s done so far tbh along with that dealership destruction
-off the rails update: 2x12 was toooo much!! Like, Jesus between Smash’s sister getting harassed at the movie theater by the racists who hate on smash and Noelle...and this plotline with Santiago and his old friends trashing Buddy’s place...it’s like, can we breathe.
-I could not be more excited for Carlotta to leave and another teenage boy with adult woman relationship to end.
-wow can’t believe the plotline where Riggins stole $3000 from a drug dealer isn’t ending well for him. And now Smash is getting arrested bc of those racist guys from the movie theater episode? One recap I read said that too many of this season’s plots feel contrived and I think that sums it up.
-is there any character who HASN’T worked at Buddy Garrity’s dealership at this point?!
-and yikes at all the other salespeople being mad that a salesperson in a wheelchair was hired...y’all mad ugly and ableist for that

It was almost two months ago that the first pictures of you two leaked to the tabloids. Your first day at work after new years eve was suprising. You stepped into the shop and saw the magazins, with you on the headline.

The boys who were your everyday costumers felt hurten about you being taken, and not just by some guy, but by Roger Taylor the drummer of Queen. They started to teas you with you being a groupie, and fucking your way up. You loved your job, but at this moment it felt bad, and Mira saw it too.
“Y/N, can we speak?” She asked as you walked in for an another day of work. She pinched your side as you get on some fat already.

“And it is really worth it?” He looks at you like you are an alien.

“Hey are you listening to me?” Waves Will in front of your face.
“Sorry, where were we?” You try to look at her, instead of the man in the garden playing with Robert, who was staying with you two tonight.
“How can you be not bored of him already? I can’t stand a man after a time!” She chuckles.
“Because you are with boys, not mans!” You answer. “He is just great...” you can’t help as your eyes are again in him playing with the fallen leafes.
“He is a rock star, is he not bored of you?” You look at her in shock.
“Fuck you, Will!” You feel hurten by her words.
“I’m not saying I would be bored of you, but man he has millions of fans and most of them are horny girls...” she continues.
“You know that his friends are mine too? If he would do something bad on tour I would know about it!” You answer.
“Are you sure?” She looks at you in disbelief.
“John can’t lie to Veronica, and can’t keep secrets neither, so either way it would get to me!” You resure her. “It is that hard to believe someone want to be loyal to me?”
“No! Honey, just he is he, you know...”
“Will, fuck, you don’t even know him, and don’t even give him a chance to make you like him!” You are mad, she is just so reperative. “I know him, and trust him!” You end your conversation and get up from the kitchen table to put away the empty plates.
“It is your choice not mine!” She stands up too. “Thank you for the food, you should work in a kitchen!” She continues as she gets his jacket on.
“You know it is not my style! Do you want me to walk you out?”
“Yes, please!” You walk out, and both of you are already lighting cigarettes. You walk her to the gate and let her out. “Only be good if it’s not worth it to be bad!” She kisses your cheek before walking to the bus stop two blocks away.
You just let out the last smoke croud when you get to the garden. Both Robert’s and Roger’s face is lighting up as they look at you.
“Auntie Y/N, will you play with us too?” Runs Rob to you, and grabs your hand.
“Ofcourse honey, what are you boys playing?” You smile at them.
You see the sneaky look what they are sharing, but your brain is not fast enough. “You are the catcher!” He hits your hand and runs away, just as his uncle.
The three of you run around the garden until it gets dark, and you can see your breaths. “Boys, it is time for dinner! Who will help me?”
With two helpless man in the kitchen it is a mess, but the laugh you have is worth it. The fun time is really worth it. After dinner you let Robert take his bath alone as he is a big boy now, and your heart stops when you see Roger helping him dry himself.
After showering and getting on your pj’s all of you lay in the big bed, with books in your hands. You read until Rob falls asleep between you two. You put down your books too and turn down the lights.
“I love you” you wishper.
“I love you too!”

So Star Wars these days...
I am entirely neutral about Star Wars sequel trilogy. I dislike parts of the but I also really like parts of them.
Dislikes:
Anything in TLJ that doesn’t involve Rey, both Finn’s and Poe’s storylines were haphazard and pointless, Finn’s was literally just him redoing his arc from the first movie and Poe’s could easily have been combined with Finn’s easily enough.
The fact that they very clearly didn’t plan anything in the trilogy which absolutely fucked the entire plot. The first two movies were a pretty good duology but then the third movies tries to throw the second movie under a bus and tries to be an entirely different plotline all on its own.
All the Reylo shit, they just are not a good romantic relationship, it’s toxic and really disturbing as a romance. However if they had made it into a siblinglike relationship it would have worked so much more. Attacking a romantic partner is abuse, attacking a sibling is pretty normal.
The rise of the toxic fandom. Frankly we forgot that this is a space western samurai franchise about space wizards. We take this shit way too seriously. Its a fun part of our lives and we fucked it up getting pissed off about every fucking thing. (Of course Rey is a competent protagonist, it’s a fucking space adventure, if the protagonist is an idiot the movie will be boring) (Nitpicking is not being a well informed critic, it’s being an ass and trying to make people who enjoyed a thing think it was actually terrible, especially when you aren’t actually nitpicking and just being an amnesiac asshole)
Likes:
I really liked the first movie, it is a fun return to Star Wars that, while a little bumpy, is still a satisfying experience.
I liked Rey’s storyline in TLJ a lot, it was leagues better than any of the other character’s storylines.
I liked the plot of TROS in theory (exept Rey being a palpating that was just stupid) I just had a lot of issues with its execution, for example it should have been an entire trilogy on its own.
So rant about the sequel trilogy is over.
However, the Mandalorian and Fallen Order were fantastic. We really need more long term storytelling in Star Wars. Star Wars is a perfect setting for stories that involve a lot of downtime and exploratory storytelling. We desperately need more space archeology in this franchise. The clone wars was fantastic, rebels was good (as long as you ignore Ezra) and I’ve heard that resistance starts getting good about halfway through season 1.
Solo and Rogue One were actually pretty good, not bad but enjoyable on their own.

I think Bates Motel has a better storyline but the plot twists from La Casa de Papel bring a lot of excitement to it so to me it’s 60/40 slightly better on Bates

Loved your dialogue about season 10 Jamie. First sack season 9 writers - well not siobhan-oconor and K Wade esq.. Then give Will a crash course in the intricacies of being in love and happy. Also burn all his T shirts bare chested Jamie is always a crowd pleaser. Make them watch and learn from their sizzling acting in the Kiss 7 x 8 and the dance 7x9
Okay but let’s talk about Siobhan for a moment. @ontherockswithsalt and I just had this conversation actually. What is it about Siobhan that has the fandom all excited when she writes an episode? I used to be the same way, tbh. But then I actually looked at which episodes she wrote to see what Jamko moments she’s responsible for. There are a couple examples of actual Significant Episodes (5x01 with Jamie’s talk with Erin, 7x13 with the I Kick Ass shirt, 8x18 when Eddie got shot) and a few times where she wrote a cute scene in an otherwise unremarkable episode for Jamko (I liked specific scenes in 5x07 and 6x20). But she didn’t write the 4x19 or 7x08 kisses, the dance, or really anything that stands out to me that much. I think people have a false appreciation for her because it’s true that for a while it seemed like she included Eddie in more episodes than other writers, so a Siobhan episode hopefully meant at least an Eddie sighting. But now Eddie is more or less guaranteed to show up in every episode, at least at family dinner if she doesn’t have her own storyline. So getting excited for a Siobhan episode where we might just get to see Eddie isn’t really valid now.
Kevin Wade. Lol the one who wrote Jamie Reagan saying such nauseating lines as “I’d spend the five million on you” and “As of this morning, the future Mrs. Jameson Reagan”? NO THANKS, FIRE HIM TOO.
So yep they could fire the entire writing team and probably be better off.
As for Will, I don’t even know what to do with him anymore. I think he signed on to play a cop and he legitimately enjoyed action scenes and development like his character had in earlier seasons. I don’t think he’s here for all this precinct/desk work as a sergeant and I think he really dislikes being the Romantic Draw of the show. Obviously that’s all speculation but I wonder if he’d enjoy his job more, and thus Jamie would look less miserable all the time, if he still got to film more on the streets with Real Cop Storylines instead of all this Boss crap where he doesn’t do much as an actor except walk down precinct hallways and look bored. There wasn’t much balance to Jamie Reagan’s character in season 9. I’d hope that fixing that would make Will appear happier and in turn, make Jamie seem like a person who is overall happy with his life.
As far as the shirts thing, I agree. No shirts ever. But I unfortunately doubt we’ll see Jamie shirtless ever again because Will is probably dying of liver failure and isn’t actually hot anymore.
There’s been little opportunity for Moments like mid-season 7 because the majority of Jamko’s scenes occur at the precinct or at family dinner. I really seriously hated all the times they’d chat while walking down the hallway like Jamie’s too busy to stop for 8 seconds and Eddie’s yapping at his heels for something he doesn’t care to give her (lol like attention or love). Plenty of the S9 precinct scenes could just have easily taken place in their apartment or elsewhere — I wonder if they stuck to the precinct to either avoid any speculation about Jamko’s living arrangements for the benefit of conservative older viewers, or to make it seem like Jamie still got to be seen as a cop just because he’s in uniform while talking about something unrelated. The dynamic will never, ever be all that the viewers want during scenes in uniform where, even if they’re not actually talking about the job, we are constantly reminded of Jamie’s authority over her at work. So if they take some of those scenes out of the precinct in season 10, and show us a more equal, less gross side of their relationship in the privacy of their home, things might be a little bit better. But probably not by much. Like do we have to spend the rest of our lives watching Eddie beg for Jamie’s opinion on towel colors or even like, nursery ideas while he acts uninterested and lame? Because ew no thanks bye.
