Getting There In The First Place

The road to a romantic relationship with Craig Boone is a long one, and it is filled with a lot of confusion, guilt, and self loathing. He feels as though he is unwittingly dragging the Courier into the eternal punishment he is enduring because of Bitter Springs, and he also feels guilty, for Carla. Even though she is gone, he feels like a dirty cheating husband, being unfaithful to his wife's memory.

It would take a long time for Boone to even realize his own interest. There'd be a lot of emotional confusion involved; why was he suddenly feeling so jealous and possessive seeing the Courier talking to anyone else? Why did sleeping in the same room as them give him a sudden tightness in his chest?

There would be some sexual confusion, too. I always imagine that Boone hasn't jerked off or even had an erection since Carla's death. His libido was just nonexistent, not even something to think about. So suddenly getting hard over something the Courier says or does, even something innocent, would be a bit of a shock and embarrassment to him.

Boone would try his best to see Carla in his new lover. It's fucked up, but somehow it would make him feel better about wanting them in the beginning. It would take some hard truths and some emotional pain for Boone to realize that the Courier isn't a replacement for Carla, but someone new and beautiful entirely.

When a relationship finally happens, Boone feels a little clueless. He doesn't know how to take the lead in these things, but he is also just absolutely overjoyed to be with the Courier. He just wants to hold and touch them every chance he gets. Smiling like an idiot to himself when he's holding you at night. Communication and boundaries is something he has to learn, but he wants to eagerly, for you.

The Good Stuff

I imagine there is two sides to Boone when it comes romance. When you are out and about, or wandering the wastes, he's not very affectionate. He'll brush the hair out of your eyes, and stare at your in admiration, but he's not big on PDA. When alone together, however, that's a different story. He'll want to kiss and touch you every chance he gets.

Boone is so absolutely grateful that he has you. It was just like with Carla; he can't believe his luck.

Boone isn't huge on big romantic gestures. Don't expect a bouquet of flowers or chocolates from him, not that they are abundant in the wasteland anyway. But he'll get up early to cook you breakfast in the morning, and clean up wherever you're staying while you're still asleep. He'll also give you something like a cool rock he found while walking around, or a pretty little flower he saw. It's his way of showing he's always thinking of you.

He absolutely loves receiving affection from you. When you grasp him gently by the arm, or rest against his shoulder. He just loves knowing you're here, with him, right now.

To Boone, sex is sacred. He treats every night you're intimate as if it's you're first time together. He's passionate and gentle, and mostly seeks your pleasure above all else. He can be rough if you want him to, though.

This man lovesss missionary. It's just the perfect amount of intimate for him, and he loves being able to kiss you and nuzzle your neck while you're fucking. He also loves when you're on top, as he can just worship your body.

He's great at aftercare. He'll shower with you, and dry your hair for you, and afterwards, he'll hold you and rock you until you fall asleep in his arms.
