Now unlike what most people would guess, when cats reincarnate (especially after being the Jellicle Choice) they do not keep their previous name. Instead, their reincarnated names have some form of distinct connection to their name from their previous life! A cats previous name could also be considered one of their 3 names!!

For example! Demeter in her last life was named Rhea, and in her next could be Persephone

Bombalurina was Bombshell or Tangoblitz and would next be something similar

Mungojerrie was Jerriemango and Rumpleteazer was Ruffleteaze

Victoria was Elizabetha (future incarnation Lizabeth), Alonzo was Alessio and Mistoffelees was Mephisto!! Bustopher was Bhilip Jones
