My grandmother had this plant for years. We didn't know what it was or even think it put out flowers, but it started to this year and we found out it's an amaryllis. It's a shame she never got to see it bloom, but I'm glad for something that reminds me of her & how much she loved her flowers.

Some pictures from my daily walk. I've been seeing a lot of woolly worms, and they've all been solid colors, which usually means a mild winter. They normally have a black band on them, and the more black, the harder the winter.

Lately I've been enjoying an evening walk every day. A lot of summer flowers are in bloom. I'm trying to savor the season while also looking forward to the fall colors. 😊🌻

This little guy was found in the front yard. We weren't sure if he was abandoned or not since Mama didn't show up all day. But the next day, he was gone & doe prints were around the area. 😊
