You know what I love about The 100? There's both strong men and strong women.
I'm tired of watching shows or reading books where the women have to be weakened for the men to be strong or where the men have to be dumbed down for the women to rule.
Bellamy and Clarke are the undisputed leaders of the story and neither has to put the other down in order to get people to follow them. Even when one of them makes a mistake, the other forgives them easily because "You did what you had to do. Like always".

he’s obsessed, addicted even.
the first time he hugged you, you physically melted in his arms.
after all, what place is safer?
bellamy’s love language is physical touch, and so he’s always touching you somehow
whether it be holding your hand, having a hand on the small of your back as you walk, or even just having your knees touch while sitting
you grew up touch starved, and when you told bellamy of your past, he finally understood the way you responded to something as simple as a hug.
bellamy is absolutely determined to make up for the time you lost without the touch of someone who loves you.
clarke :
clarke doesnt always want to be holding your hand, or touching you
shes a leader, and doesnt want to make herself look weak
not that it would, but youre her weakness
she has many enemies who could take advantage of that
she prefers the privacy of your shared bedroom.
however, despite not being as physically affectionate in public, she does make up for it.
when youre alone, clarke will always be touching you.
she needs that connection. to show that youre safe, alive.
with her.
when you first started dating, she sat you down and told you how she wouldnt be too affectionate in public. and you accepted it.

But before she could reply, Bellamy stood up, pulled Clarke to her feet, and kissed her.
He was still wet from the lake, and as he wrapped his arms around her waist, her damp skin clung to his. For a moment, the world around them faded away. All that existed was Bellamy—the warmth of his breath, the taste of his lips. He moved one of his hands from her waist to her lower back and Clarke shivered, suddenly acutely aware that she and Bellamy were standing in their underwear, dripping wet.
A cold breeze shuddered through the thick canopy of leaves and danced across the nape of Clarke's neck. She shivered again, and Bellamy slowly unlocked his lips from hers. “You must be freezing," he said, rubbing his hands up and down her back.
She cocked her head to the side. “You're wearing even less clothing than I am."
Bellamy ran his finger up her arm, then tugged playfully at her damp bra strap. “We can fix that, if it bothers you."

Me, still being traumatized by season 7 of The 100 and the end of Bellarke. At this point I prefer the ending of season 5. It would have just been enough to free Echo and it would have been perfect and the open ending as it was in season 5 would have been enough for me ! Damn, where did this stupid idea of Bellamy and Echo come from ? The girl who tried and almost succeeded in killing her sister and already threatened Clarke ? WTF ?! (But let's be honest, especially in the last episode, we forget that Bellamy is in a relationship with this girl) I console myself every day by remembering that Bellarke is canon in the books and that the actors are together. But I will always remain deeply traumatized.
