Chapter Seven - Disney Pixar's Cars
Daniel is a Formula One driver, but, more importantly, he was a single dad to a wonderful little girl. He wants her to be a normal little girl, to have a normal social life, so he sends her to daycare. That was where she met Milo, her future best friend.
Milo's mother was incredibly stressed. She worked so hard to provide a good life for her son. But then he makes a new friend, a friend who has a hot dad (ofc they fall in love)

Daniel arrived home in the middle of Monday. The first thing he did was pick up Olivia from her mothers house. "DADDY!" Olivia screamed as she went running towards him. Daniel picked her and and placed him on his hip as he carried her back towards the car.
"Hi Badger," he said, carrying her over to the car. "Did you enjoy watching the race with Milo yesterday?"
Olivia nodded her head as her father buckled her into the car. "Daddy it was so fun," she said. "Miss L/N made us snacks and then we all watched the race together and then you said hello to Milo and me and then we had dinner and then Miss L/N took us home and that made me kinda sad."
Daniel laughed as he began driving her home. "Are you looking forward to seeing Milo tomorrow?" He asked as he drove.
Truthfully, Daniel couldn't wait to drop Olivia off at daycare. Not because he didn't want to spend time with her, but because he couldn't wait to see Y/N and Milo again. During the race weekend he'd managed to procure a child sized AlphaTauri hat and he couldn't wait to give it to Milo.
"Daddy, are you racing this weekend?" Olivia asked as they pulled up outside of their house.
"No, Badger," he said as he parked.
Olivia eagerly unbuckled her seatbelt and waited for her father to pull open the car door. She took his hand and skipped with him up to the house. "Daddy, can Milo come over to watch cars?"
"Of course, Badger," Daniel said as he opened the door.
The next day, Daniel got Olivia to daycare early. He kept her in the car while he waited for Y/N's car to pull up. More and more parents pulled into the car park, all of them walking their kids to the gate and then swiftly walking away. He tapped his finger against the dashboard as he watched time go on.
At long last, Y/N's familiar car came speeding into the car park. She quickly parked, grabbed Milo from the backseat and rushed him to the gate. Daniel grabbed Olivia from the back of the car and rushed her over to the date. "Y/N, wait!" He called, putting Olivia down.
At the gate, Y/N turned around. She put Milo on the floor and grabbed a hold of his hand. "Daniel," she said, slightly breathlessly.
The children stood side by side as they watched their parents interact. "For some reason I didn't expect you to be back so soon," Y/N said as Daniel pulled something from his pocket.
"Well, I got Milo a present," he said, presenting her with the hat. It was dark blue, with white ALPHATAURI printed on the front. There was a three on the brim, Daniels driver number.
"Wow, thanks, Mr Ricciardo!" Milo cheered as he took the hat and looked at it. Instantly he placed it on his head and turned to Olivia. "Look, Livvy!" He pointed up at the hat on his head.
"Yeah, thanks Daniel. That was really nice of you. But Milo really needs to be getting into daycare now," she said, pushing her son along.
The teacher at the gate waved the kids through the gate and Y/N and Daniel waved them goodbye. They turned around, walking back tot their cars. "That was really nice of you to get Milo a cap. He's in love with racing now," she said as Daniel kept up with her quick steps to get to her car.
"How about you?" Daniel asked as he leaned against her car.
Y/N couldn't stop herself from smiling. "I did," she said. "I had no idea what was happening, but I think Olivia enjoyed teaching Milo and I all about it." She'd pulled open her car door, but stood just outside of it. No matter how concerned she was about being late for work, she was still gonna hang around to talk to Daniel.
"Speaking of Olivia," he began as his fingers drummed against the car door. "She wants to know if Milo wants to come over to ours to watch the Cars movies," he offered.
"Cars as in Pixar Cars?"
"Lightning McQueen, yeah."
Y/N nodded her head. "Yeah," she replied. "When were you thinking?"
The two settled on a date and, regretfully, Y/N had to get going. She was going to be late for work as it was. She waved Daniel goodbye as she pulled out of the car park, driving away from him.
Daniel had always been nervous about bringing people back to his house. It wasn't that he didn't like his house or that he felt like it wasn't good enough, but it felt too much. Too extravagant, too... extra, if you will.
It was excessive, and he knew it wouldn't impress Y/N.
Daniel had a cleaner, but he still went around neatening everything up. He made the living room cosy, placing all the blankets and cushions he could find onto the sofa, ready for when Y/N and Milo came over.
It was the middle of the week Y/N and Milo knocked on his door. Y/N had Milo on her hip while she waited for somebody to pull the door open. There was commotion from inside before somebody unlocked the door, left it shut, and somebody else pulled it open.
That somebody else was Daniel. He welcomed the two into his home with a smile on his face and a cap on his head. He was always wearing caps.
"Welcome, welcome," he said as they walked through the door.
Y/N put Milo on the floor and looked around the foyer. Holy shit this man was rich. Maybe she'd underestimated just how much Formula One drivers got paid. "Daniel, this is crazy," Y/N said, suddenly embarrassed for the two bedroom house she had shown him. "This is..."
He took her and Milo through to the living room, where Olivia was waiting on the sofa. She had already emptied the bowl of popcorn Daniel had given her and she did bother to get up from the sofa when Y/N and Milo walked in. Her eyes lit up, though.
As Milo sat beside Olivia (and Daniel handed him his own popcorn), Daniel turned on the television. He and Y/N hovered by the door for a moment, waiting until the kids settled.
When their eyes were glued to the television, Daniel turned around. He took Y/N out of the room, taking her back into the hallway. "You want the tour?" He offered and she nodded her head.
Daniel took her from room to room. He took her upstairs, showing her into every room. She saw into Olivia's room, where she had a four poster bed with a pink canopy, every kind of toy a kid would ever need, and her own walk in closet. What five year old needed a walk in closet?
Y/N held her tongue as Daniel moved her through the upstairs. His own room was rather plain, but his bed was huge. "Oh my god, Danny," she said as she felt his sheets. "This bed could fit, like, fifteen people."
She couldn't stop herself from toeing off her shoes and throwing herself onto the bed. Her body bounced as she starfished out, trying to take up as much space as possible. "I think this bed is bigger than my entire room."
Daniel laughed as he watched her. It was an endearing laugh, like he couldn't get enough of her (maybe because he couldn't). "Come on," he said and took her hands. Daniel pulled her up off the bed and picked up her shoes for her. He kept a hold of them, carrying them for her as he showed her around the house.
Y/N's favourite part of the house was the kitchen. It was huge, with a huge fridge full of... everything. But it was the wine rack that had Y/N's attention.
He had red wine, white wine, prosecco and more. He had everything, but one wine caught her eye. When Daniel saw her looking, he pulled it out of the rack and presented her with the bottle "DR3 shiraz," Y/N read out. "DR3 as in you?"
Daniel nodded his head. "You wanna try some?"

Nimona! *spoilers*
*WARNING! Major spoilers for Nimona follow.*
It's colorful, queer, and finally here. Trials and tribulations can make the victories all the sweeter, or so we are told. Only it seems there is some proverbial proof in the pudding: #nimona has finally made its way to Netflix after something of a bumpy ride, to put it lightly—and we are here for it. It's been a long time coming, too, with years and years spent in development hell.
Since its inception in June 2015, the film has survived a mega media merger between The Walt Disney Corporation and 20th Century Fox Animation (and delayed twice); in February 2021, one year before its projected release, Disney announced it was shutting down Blue Sky Studios, and production of the film was canceled entirely; it was then revived by Annapurna and Netflix; experienced several changes in creative leadership and a global pandemic (you may have heard of it) and a studio shutdown just as the film was finally coming together.
Now, the story that started life in ND Stevenson's beloved webcomic finally has made its way into silver screen heaven with its arrival on Netflix these past days. And it seems the dashboard's faultlessly loyal, long-time fandom can't get enough of this wild, wonderful, and life-affirming adaption.

Today We Honor Don Cheadle
Don Cheadle, actor, film producer and philanthropist rose to prominence in the late 1990s and the early 2000s.
Cheadle is the recipient of multiple accolades, including two Grammy Awards, a Tony Award, two Golden Globe Awards and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. He has also earned nominations for an Academy Award, two British Academy Film Awards and 11 Primetime Emmy Awards. His Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony nominations make him one of few black individuals to be nominated for the four major American entertainment awards (EGOT).
Following early roles in Hamburger Hill, and as the gangster “Rocket” in the film Colors, Cheadle built his career with roles in Devil in a Blue Dress, Rebound: The Legend of Earl ‘The Goat’ Manigault, Rosewood, Boogie Nights, and Bulworth.
His collaboration with director Steven Soderbergh resulted in the films Out of Sight, Traffic, The Ocean’s Trilogy, and No Sudden Move.
Cheadle lead role as a Rwandan hotel manager in the genocide drama film Hotel Rwanda earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor. He also campaigns for the end of genocide in Darfur, Sudan, and co-authored a book concerning the issue titled Not On Our Watch: The Mission to End Genocide in Darfur and Beyond.
Don Cheadle film “Miles Ahead” is based on the iconic jazz musician ‘Miles Davis. His role as War Machine is popular in the Marvel Universe, and the hit series Black Monday, has brought the best out of Don Cheadle artistry, as he plays Mo Monroe the lead character of the show.
Cheadle extended his global recognition with his role as James “Rhodey” Rhodes / War Machine in the Marvel Cinematic Universe beginning with Iron Man 2, and garnered a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for his guest appearance as the character in the Disney+ miniseries The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. He will lead the film Armor Wars as part of the franchise.

Mike is a character who we associate with the blue color the most, right? Also, blue is kinda associated with the Upside Down and Vecna because of that blue light we see there.
Blue is the basic color of mlm pride flag. It was created in 2019. And you know what? In russian slang голубой (which is translated as “blue”) means “gay" and it originates from the '60s.
Almost every outfit Mike wears in s4 is blue.

The phrase голубая мечта (translated as "blue dream") caught my attention. The expression appeared under the influence of the famous play (with a very fairy-tale-like setting -> "It looks like a fairytale") "The Blue Bird" written by Maurice Maeterlinck in 1908. The blue bird is a symbol of happiness that has been in the home all along; the children simply have not recognized and valued it.
As we already know, dreams are one of the key themes and focus in ST, especially in season 4 with “Dream a Little Dream of Me”, but let’s not forget about “Never Ending Story.”
Not only has it a line "fly a fantasy," but "dream a dream, and what you see will be." What is Mike’s blue dream? Of what is he dreaming secretly? Or better say, of who? It’s a rhetorical question for bylers. But the GA will find out too, with the help of Vecna and his mirror (aka the visions he shows to his victims of who they really are). The answer is upon a rainbow. Literally.
In the picture of Mike's room I pinned above, you can also notice a heart with a heart, cloud, rainbow and something written on it.
"Rhymes that keep our secrets will unfold behind the clouds, and there upon a rainbow is the answer to a neverending story."
"Without heart, we'd all fall apart." Will's words rhyme and Mike is Will's heart.
@angelwithnightmares 's guess is it may say If you can dream it, you can do it" (Walt Disney's quote) and doesn't it connect the dots? Taking into account @madwheelerz manifestation theory and how Mike (the writer and the DM) & Will (the artist) -- the duo with huge imagination manifested the events in ST because of their dreams nightmares feels very real to me.

cupcakes and late nights
they had put hallie to bed a mere fifteen minutes ago, tucking her in and reading her a bedtime story.
teagan’s washing her face and jimmy is queuing up the episode of suits they left started watching last night. teagan goes to sit down on the bed when hallie shows up at their door, tears running down her cheeks.
“hallie? what’s wrong?” jimmy picks her up, sitting her on the bed between him and teagan.
“lylas mom no give me a cupcake for her class birthday.” the four (almost five) year old sniffles out.
“what? why not?” teagan furrows her eyebrows, glancing at jimmy who has a glint of anger in his eyes.
there’s a group of moms who take issue with the fact teagan and jimmy are so young and have hallie. they know to let it roll of their backs, but they both draw the line at bringing hallie into it.
“lyla’s mom said the cupcakes could have peanuts.” her voice is so sad, and it’s shattering their hearts.
hallies preschool classroom was peanut free, and no nut products were allowed.
“bug really wanted a cupcake too mama.” the four year old sniffs from their bed, the tears pour down her face as a rapid pace as she looks at her parents.
teagan and jimmy look at each other, silently communicating. it was a friday night, and it wouldn’t be the worst thing ever if hallie stayed up a little bit later than usual on the weekends.
“we can make our own cupcakes. cmon, let’s go for a ride, bug.” jimmy picks hallie up, heart melting at the giggle that escapes his daughters lips.
“really?” her face lights up.
“really. let’s go get the cupcake ingredients.” teagan follows them down the stairs and into the car.
a half hour later, they’re back at home, hallie working hard at mixing the batter with jimmy’s help.
“let mama put the batter in the cupcake pan.” jimmy scoops hallie off the counter into his arms, walking to the living room to put on a disney movie.
once they’re done, teagan speeds up the cooling process by putting the pan in the fridge for about fifteen minutes, so they don’t have to wait an hour.
“do you want to frost your own cupcake hallie-bug?” teagan looks at her daughter, who’s again sitting on the counter, with jimmy standing in front of her so she doesn’t fall off.
“yes! i’m a big girl and can do it!” she takes the spreading tool from teagan, spreading way too much over her cupcake. “it’s blue, see? because daddy’s team is blue and that makes it my favorite.” she rambles, not wasting any time after before taking a bite of the cupcake.
“mama you try.” she practically shoves the cupcake in teagan’s face.
“no, i’m okay bug. i’m gonna have my own cupcake. but thank you for offering to share with me, i appreciate it.” she looks up from the pan as she was occupied frosting the rest.
it’s silent for a second as hallie takes another bite of her cupcake, before she leans over and goes unnoticed by the two. she dips her finger into the baby blue frosting, before leaning towards jimmy. her finger touches his nose, dragging the frosting down from the middle of his nose to the bottom, and lets out the loudest laugh they’ve heard from her.
“is that funny bug?” he tickles her stomach, which elicits more laughter from the four year old.
“dada stop.” she shrieks, touching his face.
he dips his finger in the frosting, and does what she did to him earlier.
“jimmy! she had a bath earlier. seriously?” teagan has her hands on her hips, but a grin on her face at the moment between her boyfriend and daughter.
“sorry t.” he presses a kiss to her cheek, earning a giggle from hallie at the sight.
later that night, after hallie’s long asleep, jimmy and teagan stand in the kitchen, as teagan works on decorating a ladybug cupcake.
“it’s for her lunch monday. a ladybug cupcake, for our hallie-bug.”
“she’s gonna love it.” jimmy grins, wrapping his arms around teagan’s waist and leaning in to kiss her lips.
the smile on hallie’s face made the late night they had so worth it, even if they were so, so tired the next day.

What about a silly 3 men and a baby type fic except it's just Clexa somehow getting an infant forced on them out of the blue and then falling in love while figuring out how to care for the kid. Or maybe you could do one where one gets a letter not meant for her and it's from the other. The rest is up to you😂
I will be affectionately referring to this AU as 2Girls1Baby until I think of, or am recommended a new title.
This is a work in progress, but I wanted to give you a little snippet, Anon, because this AU is living in my head rent-free now.
A little back story. Raven and Anya have an 18 month old baby, and they have to go out of town. Their last resort for childcare is leaving their daughter, Tris, with Clarke and Lexa.
Clarke and Lexa have been roommates for a while now, really only knowing each other through Anya and Raven. Anya is Lexa's sister; Raven is Clarke's best friend. They live together, but don't really associate aside from that.
“So what now?” Clarke looks at Lexa, perplexed.
“Well, I guess we'll just keep her alive until Monday. That won’t be too hard… Right?” Lexa searches for comfort in Clarke’s gaze, receiving nothing of the sort.
“Anya is your sister! This is your problem.” Clarke gestures toward the 18 month old in the car seat currently chilling on their living room floor, kicking her feet at a dangling raccoon that is attached to the handle of her carrier.
“Raven is your best friend!” Lexa scolds in a hushed voice, not wanting to disturb the currently occupied toddler.
“Blood is thicker than water, right?” Clarke scoffs and walks away, to close herself up in her bedroom as per usual.
With a heavy sigh, Lexa cautiously approaches the toddler. “Hey, Tris.” She mumbles, “I’m your Aunt Lexa, we’re going to be great friends.” Suddenly, Tris realizes that neither of her mothers are within sight.
A wail that Lexa is surprised didn’t shatter their windows, falls from Tris’s mouth.
“Oh, God. Oh, God. Oh, no. Shh- Shh, it's okay sweetheart. You’re okay. Aunt Lexa’s got you. We’re going to have so much fun…” Lexa searches around the living room, desperate to find something to occupy this kid’s attention. Anya had warned her that they were trying to limit her time with electronics, so she wouldn’t become reliant on them. The TV was out of the question.
Lexa whips her phone out of her pocket, scrolls through Spotify, and comes across a Disney playlist. She turns it on, and connects the phone to the bluetooth speaker in the living room.
“HAKUNA MATATA WHAT A WONDERFUL PHRASE” comes out entirely too loud, and only makes Tris cry harder.
“Shit, shit, shi- shoot, shoot, crap, dang it.” Lexa silences her phone. “Okay, maybe a bit more preparation for that, eh? Okay, so, find the speaker… where is it? Oh, there it is!” She locates the bluetooth speaker next to the television. “Now to turn the volume down, huh? That was wayyyy too loud. Aunt Clarke must have been in the zone the last time she was painting.” Lexa continues to ramble to herself, not realizing until she pulls her phone back out that Tris has stopped her wailing.
“Oh. You’re a conversationalist, are you?” She asks with a cheeky grin towards the 18 month old. She puts on the Disney playlist, on a low volume for background noise.
“Did your Mamas tell you the shi- crap I’ve been going through at work?” She waits a beat, Tris looks at her with big, bloodshot eyes, from her crying fit.
“No? Okay, so let me just tell you. My boss,” she clears her throat and takes on a comedic Renaissance accent, “Executive Chef, Charles Pike, total idiot,” Lexa then resumes her regular speaking voice, “decided today that he was going to have a five course meal planned for the Water’s wedding tomorrow.” She scoffs.
Tris just babbles along while kicking her raccoon and eyeing Lexa suspiciously.
“Exactly, that’s what I said. And then Pike has the gall to walk over to me and ask me to get it done by the end of the day, like I don’t already have 42 things on my plate. Because this man has made weaponized incompetence into a fuc-freaking art form.”
“Truck truck truck?” Tris all but screams at Lexa.
“You’re totally right, I should’ve told him to walk in front of a truck.”
"Truck, truck, TRUUUCK” Tris starts to wail.
“Truck? Where is the truck?” Lexa starts to rummage through her diaper bag. “Oh god, WHERE IS THE TRUCK?!”
In her panic, Lexa doesn’t realize that Clarke had emerged from her bedroom, and is currently walking towards Tris with a small yellow Tonka truck in her hands.
“Is this what you want, baby girl?” Clarke coos.
Lexa’s head snaps to attention and finds Clarke currently knelt next to her niece, shaking the truck slowly in front of her face. Tris has stopped crying, and currently has her full attention on Clarke’s hands.
“Clarke?”
“Don’t mention it, I was just tired of hearing you talk about work.” Her roommate quips back, and then starts making vrooming truck noises to occupy the toddler.
“You don’t have to do this, Clarke. I am more than capable of-”
She’s cut off by Clarke, “Babysitting should be about more than just surviving, don’t we deserve better than that?”
Lexa gapes at her, unsure how to respond.
“I might be a hypocrite, Lexa. But you’re a liar. You have no idea what you’re doing taking care of a baby.” Clarke jests with a raised eyebrow.
“I didn’t lie to everyone, not you.” She mumbles quietly.
“Well, if you care about me, and Tris, you’ll go make a bottle for her. I think she’s hungry.” Clarke retorts, a bit softer than she had been previously.

Eddie Glenn - Son of Bat

Gender ID and Orientation: Pansexual; not overly pressed about gender. If he really sat down to think about it, he may identify as agender, but for now cis male is fine.
Pronouns: He/him mostly, but he doesn't mind others.
Other: Is autistic and ADHD
What's Eddie's role in the band? Eddie co-founded Son of Bat with James shortly after high school. He is the primary drummer, and he also designs the band's album art and merch.
Fun Facts about Eddie:
He thinks horses are kinda gross. Why are they like that?
Tarzan is his favorite Disney movie, and inspired his love of Phil Collins.
He believed in Santa until he was around 13-14. (Despite growing up Jewish herself, Eddie's mom wanted to give him as much of a "standard American" childhood as she could, including a secular Christmas.)
His sleep cycle is hyucked, so he usually ends up sleeping on the couch rather than his bed. Technically, he and Vince shared a room until Vince moved in with Cassandra.
He had to have his right ring finger amputated due to an infected injury at 12 years old. Luckily, he's left-handed.
Because of his AuDHD, he tends to forget to eat/misses hunger cues and struggles with low blood sugar, so he always keeps snacks/candy in his pockets for emergencies. Plus, gum is a great subtle stim and sour candy helps calm anxiety attacks.
Biggest Secret: Maybe not the biggest, but he's never told anyone that when he and James first met, he had a bit of a crush on him. As they got to know each other better, it quickly shifted into a more brotherly/platonic love, but he would still die of embarrassment if anyone found out.
Inspired by this post by @amaralionelli. I might not do all of those specific prompts, but I'm working on ideas for how I can rework it for my preferences. Also, this was just a lazy sketch so there's a ton of mistakes, pls don't judge lol
