Blooper Friday Week One

My sweet sweet Kaylee, thank you so much for participating in Blooper Friday. It means the world to both of us. I'll probably have more to say then Nat will about most of these, but I will definitely include her on here. Also we are so sorry this is getting posted late. I {Faith} who does most of the posting worked very late on Friday night and was unable to post this for you until now.
{Faith} What inspired it? With that being said to be completely honest with you I don't fully remember what actually inspired this one, but I will say that when I first got the idea it was after I had been reading a lot of Marcus fics plus I was also like on my fifth rewatch of The Mentalist so it was a little bit of probably both. Honestly this one was just an original idea that I got just out of the blue and a lot of my Marcus ones will be ideas I just got out of the blue. Also Marcus is one of my many guilty pressure men 😂 and he happens to be in a lot of my daydreams, and I daydream a LOT 😂 so it's really just my brain conjuring things up lol.
{Faith} Were there more/scenes you wanted but didn't fit and if so what? For part one there weren't really any scenes we cut, because it just flowed really. I mean there was definitely some dialog changed around to make it work better, but other than that part one really just wrote itself in a sense. Part two however definitely already has a scene I cut only because it didn't really fit as well as it just didn't flow with the attitude or "narrative" of the story. However, I will not be sharing that cut scene just yet, because well... It'll give a little bit of part 2 away and I wouldn't want to give much away for this one.
{Faith} And lastly, why would you leave us on such a cliffhanger!?!?!?! Honestly, it wasn't much of Nat's choice. I normally write and she just reads as she edits. So she gets just the same amount of shock as you guys do when she reads though and edits 😂. She always is leaving comments of her shock on the docs and it is just sometimes the absolute funniest thing ever (it's definitely a plus to have your best friend be your editor really). Also I love leaving people on the edge of their seats so a LOT of our fics you'll find cliffhangers. When we started this page we made a hard stopping point as well. We said each fic we wrote (or that I wrote...) we'd only write up to 5,000 to 6,000 words, only because I knew if I didn't have a hard stopping point I would write and write with no end in sight. So when I write I tend to write up to the 5,000 then me and Nat will discuss if we should keep it going in one part or separate it into different parts, more often or not they normally become more parts then one.
{Nat} As Faith said, I was just as surprised as you are to find a cliffhanger and I was just as upset 😂 But being editor has its perks as I usually get a sneak peek at the next part of the story. Cliffhangers are a fun little way for us to mess with the readers and keep them hooked. Also as Faith mentioned, sometimes we have to split up a story into multiple parts and don't have much choice but to end it in the middle of an intense scene. Trust me it'll be worth the wait.
Oh its always a good wait with me, I love to add in shock and awe factors to every story I write. I do love me so good angst 😂. I think Nick definitely has just a coldness about him. It’s not particularly dudeish, just not very sexual. I got really uncomfortable on his behalf with Taylor “farting” on his neck like that. Intimate scenes are not the places to joke around that’s why there are intimacy coordinators x

It's not like it's Henry that pushes Alex around, grabs his hair, is the one to suggest they have penetrative sex for the first time, and pretty much leads all of their hook ups, or anything
And tell me you haven't read any of their interviews without telling me you haven't read any of their interviews. You could not be more wrong.
I reblogged a post literally this morning, where a person who used to work in the industry sent in an anonymous ask to a mutual of mine. I'll put what they said here:
"I retired from acting in 2019 for obvious reasons and when it comes to intimate scenes you GOTTA do stupid shit like that or else it becomes unbearably uncomfortable. When you’re *that deep* into working an intimate situation your brain doesn’t really know what’s real and what isn’t, and fucking around like Nicholas and Taylor were for half of the shoot prevents you from panicking and thinking “oh fuck I’m being assaulted” and creates a bond between cast members. If you can’t joke around while on set like that you will absolutely and 100% become traumatized"
So not only is it common practice for actors to joke around during intimacy scenes, but Nicholas and Taylor have both EXPLICITLY STATED in interviews that they joked and teased each other during intimate scenes to keep themselves from getting "too in their own heads".
I don't know how many more times I have to say this. I'm going to end up creating a post of screenshots of all the interviews where they talked about this at some point so I can just link it whenever someone says something this stupid to me.
I'm not going to act like you're obligated to read and watch every piece of side content for this movie, but maybe know what the fuck you're talking about if you're going to make a stupid accusation like that.

Any faith in the Silent Hill projects sticking the landing?
I'm the most curious about Silent Hill f, because I've had different layers of friends and acquaintances over the years get into Ryukishi07's visual novels (Higurashi, Umineko) and all of them universally become total sickos for his work. All of them fall utterly in love with those games.
I want to see what that guy does when turned loose with something like Silent Hill. Seems like he's very good at extremely complex, extremely strange concepts with lots of fun and weird characters. Could be very interesting if Konami truly lets the freak flag fly.
The rest? No. Silent Hill Ascension already sounds like a repeated disaster. Nothing Blooper Team has shown me of their Silent Hill 2 remake sounds like it's being delicate or respectful enough to that game's subject matter, and I know of some extremely vocal people who are outright against their involvement at all.
The movie could be interesting, I guess. The second Silent Hill movie was total garbage, but that first Silent Hill movie by Christopher Gans was sort of okay-ish, and he's the one coming back to direct the third movie.
I don't know enough about Silent Hill Townfall to say one way or the other, but I think it's fair to take a "guilty until proven innocent" stance with that one for now.

do you think the blowing raspberries part was in the script? im confused, i think it would be a bit weird and wrong? if it was taylor doing it suddenly so i hope the whole thing was alex and henry
We can't really know, but to me, it looked like just Taylor messing around. However, I think that acting like it's weird/wrong of him to do that is an overreaction. They have mentioned countless times that they were always doing things to make the other laugh or tease each other on set. They knew each other's boundaries. They wouldn't do anything that would make the other uncomfortable.
Nicholas starts smacking him because it probably tickled, and that's what you do when you're being tickled in some capacity. But he pushes him off and says "go back to America" like he was still in character, instead of something like "oh fuck off Taylor". He was clearly playing along.
I am going to think positively and assume you're not trying to, but this is teetering on the edge of implying that Taylor and Nicholas have an issue with each other, or don't get along.
That is simply untrue, and there are people actively trying to spread this misinformation to create a rift in the fandom. The same people have been trying to say that Nicholas and Taylor don't care about RWRB or don't like it due to their lack of promotion, when it is due to the strike that is still actively going on. They legally not allowed to promote it without breaking the union's strike rules.
Both have still done subtle things to indicate their love of the project, like Nicholas posting pictures of him with blond hair from back when they were filming "for no reason", and Taylor setting up his Instagram to be only following Alex's official account. Nick posted a single red heart on either Twitter or Threads on the day of the movie's release. Taylor said he wasn't going to be signing things at the London Vogue event he participated in, but saw fans with the book and made an exception.
Like I said, I'm going to assume that it's not your intention, so I'll just say, please be careful with what you say with things like this, because those people will jump on any opportunity to perpetuate these lies.

Thoughts.
Everytime I look at singers getting interviewed, the Hamilton cast bloopers, funny behind the scenes, harry potter moments, anything with acting, I find that I long to meet them. I wish I could see them. If I could meet at least one cast in my life, It would be one of the greatest shows of all time. Hamilton. I say this because I may never get to meet them. I barely every get to see concerts with singers and actors, actually, I've never seen a Broadway show before, but I would pay top dollar to meet and see a performance. What would you guys like to see if you had the chance?

late night. [isagi yoichi x f!reader]
notes: this is self indulgent. but this is a nice one hour break to have. i miss yoichi and many things. for everyone who is working hard, hang in there. warning: none, just fluff, domestic, established relationship, and bf!isagi supporting and comforting you who works late at night while trying and failing not to be clingy. as usual, the only thing that is serious here is my love for isagi.
“What if I snap,” you said to yourself, both of your hands holding your forehead as your bloodshot eyes stared intently toward the screen of your laptop. “What if this is my last straw before I decided to—”
“Hey, you okay?” Yoichi asked as he peeked from the kitchen. It took you less than a heartbeat to spin your head towards him and calm down.
It was two in the morning. Three more hours and Yoichi is supposed to go prepare to his practice again. Six more hours and it would be your deadline.
Yoichi was supposed to sleep, yet he was awake because he was thirsty. You were supposed to be asleep and be done with this job of yours since who knows when, yet here you were pushing through the heaviest last twenty percent progress in your life.
That was why, with honesty, you answered your favorite soccer player honestly, “…I’m not.”
While you did try to make yourself sound far from crying, the sympathy and softness in Yoichi’s eyes certainly said otherwise. “…do you want me to make you some coffee?” Yoichi asked again, this time with a caring smile and a pair of eyes filled with worry.
“Since when can you even make proper coffee?” you questioned him bluntly, not bothering to sugarcoat anything due to both exhaustion and familiarity with his lack of skill in the kitchen.
Yoichi laughed nervously, the twitch under his eye told you he took offense at that. After finishing your current predicament, you made a note to hug him as tight as possible.
“Well, I can manage with the instant one, I guess?” Yoichi tried to offer you an answer. Or perhaps, a reassurance. Who knew.
“…I don’t really need one. It’s okay.”
“If you doubt me that much, can you at least try to cover it up a little bit?”
“Everyone knows your whole stat is in soccer, Yoichi. I won’t even trust you with instant noodles.”
“Hey! I’m not that bad!” Yoichi, who crossed the room somewhere in between your conversation, tucked your head with his arm in imitation of a headlock. A poor imitation, however, as it ended up with both of his hands wrapping themselves around your neck and him burying his face in your hair. You could feel a grin that slowly faded as he pressed his lips to the top of your head.
If you could move your head, you would. But doing so at that moment felt like a waste. So, instead, as you blinked slowly in confusion, you called him whilst resting a hand on top of his that was circled around your neck, “Yoichi?”
Yoichi didn’t seem to react to your voice. A silent moment passed, before he finally took a deep breath and found his voice again, “…I miss you a lot. For some reason.”
The way he worded it sounded a bit less like his usual self. More quiet, more open, and more like the Yoichi you always greet in the early morning, who would cling to you before he would start anything.
You chuckled at that. It had been a week since the two of you managed to wake up beside each other. You thought you would be the first one to get the withdrawal symptoms. Yet there he was, your Yoichi nuzzling into your hair as if he wasn’t supposed to be fulfilling his healthy sportsman schedule.
“Me too,” you said in return. You held one of his hands while taking his head to your shoulder with the other. “This will be the last day of my all-nighter. After this, I demand lots of hugs and kisses.”
Yoichi scoffed without much meaning behind it. “Shouldn’t it be me who demands those?”
“Oh, what’s this? You don’t want to spoil me?” you teased, pressing a peck on his cheek.
While still clinging and pressing his face on the junction of your neck, Yoichi protested, “Don’t put words in my mouth.”
“Then, don’t be grumpy now and go back to sleep, Mr. Striker. You won’t beat any of your rivals by being sleepy tomorrow,” you said. You pushed himself of yourself without much difficulty, even as a more mellowed look grew on his face. It was adorable, so you offered him a parting gift for the night, “You can be as clingy as you want after I’m done. I promise. I also don’t want to waste you being clingy like this.”
“Who are you calling clingy?” Yoichi shot back with a joking glare, both of his hands still resting on your shoulder. Then, within a blink, his expression once again shifted into a brighter, sleepier grin, “I’m taking on that promise though. Let’s go eat some vegetables or something after this—I might snap if I see you slurping on one of those cups again. You are starting to look like Ego.”
“I’m not eating them for every meal, mind you—but sure,” you replied. Then, as an afterthought, you added, “Also remind me to ask you some other time if you would love me if I become Ego Jinpachi—”
“Please don’t,” Yoichi sighed exasperatedly, with humor plastered on his face.
“Why not?” you asked, with a laugh bubbling right in the back of your throat. You missed this.
Yoichi stared at you, then, instead of answering you. He still seemed to be a few steps away from going back to his slumber, yet you could still feel that his focus was still only on you. The silence between the two of you was far from unpleasant, yet pushed by a sense of curiosity, you felt compelled to ask.
You tilted your head slightly. “What is it?”
Yoichi gave you a light hum. Then, quickly and gently, he pressed a chaste kiss to your lips.
It took you by surprise, in the way it ended as quickly as it started. Yoichi pulled away with a mix of taunting cheekiness and charming affection written on his face, along with a hint of flush coloring his cheeks. It felt like you were falling again when you looked at him.
Then, with a boyish chuckle, Yoichi looked away from you. “Aha ha—sorry. My bad—what was we talking about again…?”
You wished you could call him out for acting like some flustered high schooler. However, fully aware of a part of you that also acted like some shy little animal with mush for a brain, you decided to just order your boyfriend to go to sleep again—to avoid anything that might risk your work in progress. Raising a leg and pushing it lightly against his hips, you scoffed with dizziness still haunting your skull, “Who cares—now go back to sleep, Yoichi!”
“Uh—are you angry?” Yoichi, unsurprisingly, stood completely unfazed by your attempts.
“As if,” you answered him, quick and smiling, before immediately erasing any trace of your happiness in favor of a stricter face. “I just want you to go back to sleep so you won’t regret it in the morning!”
Yoichi’s lips turned into a doubting pout for a second. Thankfully, it seemed that whatever rational, more professional soccer-obsessed part of his brain kicked back in and he decided to walk towards the bedroom.
Turning back to you one last time, with a glance full of demanding promises, Yoichi bid you a smile, “Good night. See you in the morning.”
You, halfway to once again face your work, paused and gave him an equally fond smile.
“See you in the morning, Yoichi. Sleep well, okay?”
