"Hands of Barnard and Columbia students in the Gaza Solidarity Encampment. Surrounded by more students holding hands to create a protective perimeter. All unflinchingly staring down imminent threats of suspension and arrest"
I saw a tweet that said something like "for the first time in 6 months Israeli warplanes had left Gaza skies" and I just want to say that it isn't only untrue, it has no reason to be true in the first place.
As a matter of fact, various areas have been struck in Gaza last night including residential areas in Nuseirat where apartment buildings have been flattened and a number of causalities have been reported to Alawda hospital.
Don't aid in diverting attention away from Gaza by sharing these baseless tweets. We already see how people apparently are only capable of focusing on one event at a time.
