Block of the Month: Completed!

The natural light is a little harsh here, but yeah, it's pretty bright IRL :D This is the Summer Garden Block of the Month by @vafibrearts, all assembled. I'll still have to get it machine quilted since it's too big for me to do myself, but I like how it turned out. I absolutely ran out of that shade of orange by the end, though XD

This was my first BOM and a lot of fun! Also a useful stashbust :D I learned how to make some new blocks, too.

I can't keep being fundamentally changed as a person by animated movies, it's just not sustainable.

I finished an 8.5" by 8.5" Jigsaw Block for one of the two Block of the Month quilts that I'm doing in 2024. And now I'm trying to talk myself out of doing a 12.5" by 12.5" one out of Christmas fabric (because holy crap do I have a lot of Christmas FQs in my stash).

Finally got the March blocks for @vafibrearts Block of the Month done. For some reason I had the hardest part with the HSTs lining up properly - everything was sized right, everything was sewn right, and yet the HST strips kept being wonky and I had to rip and resew.

But in the end they all came out okay. The colors in my blocks give a rather "southwestern US" kinda style feel.
