a/n: Hi hi!! ive really been wanting to do headcanons for Black Hat for a while, I'm open to asks and requests so dont be afraid to drop a suggestion in!!
(Platonic):
Black hat is by no means an easy boss. He’s ruthless, unmerciful and bitter, and you are no exception in the Eldrich’s case.
At first.
When you were first hired to be an employee at Black Hat Organization, Black Hat treats you as he would any of his other employees.
With zero respect.
He has very little tolerance for inefficiency
But you were absolutely determined to live up to his impossible expectations.
Maybe you spent a little extra time organizing his paperwork, or added a smidge more arsenic to his tea than usual (he had a sweet tooth for poison occasionally) and maybe you even bothered to dust some of his prized artifacts and tomes from his glory days as villain, making them look as new as the day he got them, and so many other things you did that seemed to make his life a little bit more stress-free.
At first, he thought nothing of it, it wasn't uncommon that his henchmen would grovel at his feet and suck up to him, it amused him really.
But overtime the eldritch realizes that you wanted to do these little tasks.
But why?? He was the most feared being in existence, and you went out of your way to do the smallest task to appease him. You seemed to worm your way into his thoughts, even as he sat perched at his desk in the wee hours of the night. Why were you just so…sweet! You should be cowering in fear!!
Speaking of fear, he loooooooves to scare the shit out of you, popping up when you least expect, out of the shadows, morphing into some unspeakable abomination of eyes and mouths (possibly) scarring you, always got a kick out of him.
After working for him for some time you were the only one, he seemed to tolerate, you managed to do your job with little to no flaw or mistake, unlike his scientist.
Dr. Flug admittedly was slightly envious.
He’d never admit it but, Black Hat enjoys holding conversation with you from time to time. He allows you to ask questions, most of them being about all the things he had witnessed and accomplished in the eons he’s been alive. He almost admired the way your eyes lit up in wonder as he explained. Almost.
You enjoyed these little private conversations too, occasionally the demon would ask a question or two about yourself, which you would happily answer. He may show no interest on the outside, but on the inside he's curious. Something he rarely feels.
He does have a reputation to uphold however, and still threatens, yells and demeans you just as he would any of his other employees.
Gotta keep you on your toes, ya know?
But deep down you know. You know that he secretly enjoys your company and is too stubborn to actually admit it.
You even dare to go as far and say that he was a friend. Don't let him hear you say that though.
(Romantic):

When I say this man is conflicted
The mere thought of love made Black Hat’s face morph into an ugly scowl, something he thought was near impossible for him to ever experience. The man had no heart for goodness's sake!
Oh, but then you had to weasel yourself into his life, his home, with your sweetness, didn't you?
Let me be clear when I say that this old man has never experienced these kinds of feelings before in his lifetime, and when he does, he thinks he’s possibly dying.
Did I also mention dramatic??
When realization dawns on him, he is absolutely floored, and the first thing he does is avoid you like the plague, which confuses you and raises a bit of concern. He rarely calls you to his office, and when he does, he avoids eye contact or just faces away from you entirely, barely acknowledging your presence.
Definitely becomes moodier, and more irritable as his feelings fester.
It’s not until you confront him one evening, when the manor is still and quiet, everyone having retreated to their respective rooms hours ago. That he finally confesses.
And being the extremely old fashioned eldritch he is, he formally asks to court you, how could you deny such a tempting proposition from the lord himself??
Of course, you say yes, why wouldn't you?? It’s an honor to be courted by Lord Black Hat!
Surprisingly, nothing changes much at first, he’s still very new to these feelings.
You both come to the agreement to keep your courtship strictly private and away from prying eyes, as I’ve said the man has a reputation to uphold.
God forbid Demencia finds out either.
With all that being said, you both take things very slowly, which thankfully you were patient and understanding about, he's experiencing all these things for the first time.
It’s a good thing you're there to help guide him, right?
He may not have ever been in a relationship, but he isn't stupid. This demon is a straight up gentleman, and extremely chivalrous. Call it old-fashioned if you must, But the man is a charmer.
Despite his villainous persona, Black Hat shows rare moments of unexpected softness when he's alone with you.
He might not admit it, but he secretly enjoys quiet evenings, perhaps reading or just spending time together in one of his private studies. He personally enjoys reading the Necronomicon to you.
Black hat also has an uncanny ability to find and present unique, often mysterious gifts. They might be rare artifacts, darkly enchanted trinkets, or even personalized items that reflect his understanding of your tastes. You keep every single one of them.
He’s surprisingly a good listener and remembers just about anything you tell him.
Which by the way, this man spoils you.
When it comes to dates, Black Hat goes all out. He arranges extravagant, exclusive events, whether it's a candlelit dinner on a rooftop or a private screening at the manor.
He once brought you to another dimension to view the downfall of an alien civilization, how romantic!
Black Hat, in his own twisted way, is fiercely protective over you. He might not show it overtly, but anyone who dares to even look at you with disdain will face the Eldrich’s fiery wrath.
Overall, Black Hat is surprisingly a good lover and partner. Your life never seems to be dull with him around, and you're incredulously grateful and honored to be able to see this side of him, even if it's behind closed doors. He has a hard time conveying his feelings and being vulnerable, but you're patient and understanding and eager to help guide him.
He never would have thought love was possible for him until you came along.

Imagine being in Blackhats office, sitting besides him as he does his paperwork, an occasional hiss leaving his throat as he grumbles to himself
Imagine having to listen to the demon rant about how stupid the rest of the crew was, or how annoying a certain Herp was being, or listening to him tell you im detail how he is going to deal with a certain person
Imagine noticing how Frustrated Blackhat was becoming, how his face seemed to grow darker and more growls left his vocal cords, so before he gets to upset, you make a move
Imagine leaning over while he is talking, and gently slipping your hands under his chin and lightly scratching it
Imagine watching how he immediately shuts up, his body freezing as you rub your fingers delicately under his rough skin of his chin
Imagine instead of him lashing out at you for touching him, he unnoticeably leans into your hand as you scritch his chin. A hiss of contentment leaving his teeth as a deep purr rumbles through his throat.
Imagine him realizing it, and threatening you if you were to tell someone, which made you real your hand back
Imagine him snapping at you for stopping, grabbing your hand and bringing it back under his chin to scratch him like a big pissy attention seeking kitty

Black Hat x Adaptor Reader
(I ain't talking about plugs)
Part 1
The alarms didn't go off in Black Hat Manor, nobody noticed you, nobody ever noticed you if that's what you wished you were an adaptor after all you could adapt to any situation needs and your need was to say hello to an old friend.
You waltzed into Black Hat's office and all Black Hat noticed was his office doors slam wide open but there was nobody behind them not Dementia, not Flug hell not even 5.0.5.
What the hell? Black Hat thought as he swiftly got up from his desk and surveyed the room when suddenly he felt two fimilair fingers walk down his neck he turned his neck to see who on earth dared to touch him but somewhere in his mind he already knew.
The minute he turned his neck you were nowhere to be seen. Black Hat scowled he would not be toyed with, "Come out you filthy cretin!" he barked seething with rage
Your chuckles echoed through the room when suddenly you appeared in front of Black Hat his eyes wide with shock "I'm back" you said simply eyes filled with joy
He quickly composed himself "Y/N? No...you're dead...this is a trick" he said his scowl deepening and his form shifting into a great heap of Black flesh, tentacles, razor blades and a frightening scowl. "I don't know how you knew y/n but you will suffer for impersonating what was mine" he said angrier than you had ever seen him in all of your 1000 years together in fact he almost looked hurt
He slashed at ripping away a chunk of your torso but you didn't even flinch instead your body quickly healed and your skin grew harder as if anticipating the next attack.
Black Hat stopped he knew y/n was the last adaptor in existence "It's you..." he said as he shifted to his regular form "It's actually you!" he pulled you close to him with his tendrils and for the first time in millennia you two embraced "You're not allowed to die ever again y/n." he said sternly
"Yes lord Black Hat" you said with a laugh

Excuse the extremely detailed request, but if you are ok with it, could you do a Black Hat x reader oneshot where the reader is a demon/eldritch abomination similar to Black Hat and they work for him and they both have feelings for eachother but neither of them say anything for a long time and it eventually takes reader getting injured in some way for him to confess to her?
For some background to where the idea came from, My horse pushed me over the other day into a patch of nettles and they stung my hand and arm pretty bad and I had a reaction that meant I needed to get antihistamines from the doctor because it was so bad. while I was recovering, I was struggling to do everyday tasks as the grip in my hand was affected, and I kept dropping stuff and not able to grip thinklgs like door handles properly! It got me thinking how would our favourite eldritch horror react if the person he secretly cared about was injured? Not enough to put them out of action completely, but more just an inconvenience that was affecting their day to day life?
I also remember thinking at one point "what if he kissed it better? Like, his kisses literally made it better? eldritch saliva having healing properties or something?" Idk. It popped into my head and it seemed like an interesting concept at the time!
Sorry if this is too detailed or weird! You don't have to write it if you don't want to! I just don't see many active blogs that write for Black Hat at the moment!

Hope this will suffice! It's been too long since I've written anything other than headcanons!! I think the extra detail and context actually helped me write this, so thanks!
CW: mildly suggestive? If you squint? Thought I'd mention it just in case. Eldritch abomination licks your hand. So if that makes anyone uncomfortable, I guess... 🤷
Anyhow, without further ado:
CRASH!
That was the fourth time you'd dropped something today. Luckily though, it was almost time for you to retire from your cleaning duties for the night, but before you had chance to pick up the dropped items, Black Hat growled at you, his fangs showing in a vicious snarl. "What's wrong with you?! you're being even more of a klutz than usual."
You growled back, not intimidated in the least by the other eldritch creature. "I hurt my hand earlier, but what do you care?"
Black Hat huffed and rolled his eyes, his voice becoming softer than you though possible for him: "Why didn't you say something? What did you do?" he put his pen down and turned to face you fully; 'was he actually implying he was going to listen to me?' You thought in disbelief.
"I fell in some of those damned 'killer nettles' of yours when I went out to fetch something." You snarled back, fangs showing slightly in agitation, though any malice remaining in your voice no longer directed at the other Demon but at yourself for your own clumsiness.
His face dropped, the remainder of his malevolent snarl transforming to a look of pure worry, something that looked unsettlingly foreign coming from him: "You bloody idiot! Why didn't you tell me? Those things cause paralysis, you're lucky you're not human, or you'd likely be unable to move for days at the very least. You could be dead!"
You were taken aback by his clear concern, thoughts rushing through your head 'Was he alright? This wasn't like him. Was this even Black Hat sat in front of you right now?' You looked at him not quite sure what to say or do. "Sir?"
"Come here. And don't call me 'sir' when we're alone." His voice was quiet, and despite maintaining his usual air of confidence, the eldritch being refused eye contact, instead looking to the papers on his desk.
"But Si- Black Hat..." as if you were not already confused, his lack of spite really threw you off guard.
"Just come here, will you?" he held out a gloved hand to you. "I just want to check the damage it's done. I'm not going to bite you." If you didn't know better, you'd have said that a small smirk played on his lips at that last comment.
Hesitantly, you took a step toward him, reaching out your injured hand to rest it in his outstretched one. The moment your hands came into contact with each other, he gently pulled you over to where he was sat, the suddenness of the movement causing you to lose your balance and fall into his lap.
Black Hat grinned. "Not so bad, was it? Now, let me see the damage." He turned your hand over in his own, which was surprisingly warm. You'd always imagined he'd be cold for some reason...
You breathed an internal sigh of relief when his attention was no longer on your face and instead on your hand, for by now, you were certain your face had become a shade of red to rival a tomato.
"It could have been a lot worse, but luckily for you, your reactions seem similar to my own. Without treatment, it should return to normal in a few days." he looked back up at you after assessing the damage done to your hand, "but..." and he paused, bringing your injured hand up to his lips and softly kissed the stinging wound.
If you weren't blushing before, you sure as hell were now. 'Who was this man? And what had he done with my boss?' You thought, a mild panic seeping into you at the out of character display of affection.
Ok, so it was no big secret that you had a crush on the other demon, so needless to say, you quite enjoyed the affection he was practically showering you with - for him at least - but it still seemed wrong, or at least a little off; this was not like Black Hat at all.
You opened your mouth to speak, only to shut it again, unable to form words as his forked tongue slipped out to gently lick the stinging red patch covering the palm of your hand and part of your wrist, all the time maintaining eye contact. Despite the embarrassing position, you were beyond grateful for the fact that you were sitting down as you was positive that, had you been standing, your legs would have given out the moment his lips touched your skin.
"... But, with the appropriate remedy, it should be better by tomorrow morning." The eldritch creature smiled, actually smiled - not his usual malevolent, twisted grin - at you. "As you know, to lesser beings, an eldritch being such as myself's saliva is positively lethal, but to a creature of a similar nature, it has rather potent healing properties." The eldritch's arm around your waist tightened slightly, pulling you back against his firm chest.
"Black -" your voice was barely above a whisper, too stunned to say much else.
He purred quietly next to your ear in response before nuzzling into your neck affectionately. "You have no idea what you do to me, my dear."
his quiet voice, along with his breath fanning over your burning skin, sent pleasant shivers down your spine, and it took all of your willpower not to lean back and melt completely into his warm embrace. "wha-what's got into you, sir? Are y-are you feeling alright?"
"Never better, my love..." He hummed, leaning his chin on your shoulder. "I regret not telling you sooner, it's been torturing me since you came to work for me..." he paused for a moment as if considering whether to actually tell you or not. "...I love you."
those three words stunned you into complete silence. what had Demencia put in his coffee?!
"Sir... I-I'm not sure what is wrong with you, but you are not yourself... I think maybe I should get Flug." not that you didn't like the attention you were getting from your boss, just that it was not like him at all and you were by now convinced that somebody (Demencia) had somehow gotten him drunk for some terrible prank.
"Look, don't get Flug there's nothing he can do. It is true that I love you and I have ever since you came to work for me..." it was Black Hat's turn to avoid eye contact. "I know, you find it hard to believe, and so did I for a long time, but I guess flug has his uses after all, as it was his slip up that gave me the confidence to finally confess." The eldritch abomination suddenly didn't seem so terrifying to you. In fact, he seemed, dare you think, quite sweet.
You finally gave in and melted into his embrace; "I love you too, Black Hat." You brought your hand up to the side of his head and tilted your own so that your lips met his own.

★ This is one of the most infuriating things he has encountered in a long while, when he is around you have no reaction. not even a surprised gasp or a change in your voice when he threatens you.
★ He definitely tries to scare you, even going so far as to make flug invent something that projects a person's worst fear. if it doesn't work, oh well. He can always sell it to a lesser villain.
★ Although he never really understands your calm demeanor when in the face of danger, it does grow on him. You come off as cold and ruthless to your enemies and that's something he loves appreciates.

Hi, if it’s okay could I ask for Demencia, blackhat, and Flug with a gender-fluid s/o that has just had top surgery, and how they are when their s/o is healing? (I want top surgery sooo bad) if it makes you uncomfortable just delete it!

🥪Doctor Flug:
✈️Even though it's not his work area, Dr Flug has a certain knowledge of medicine. Of the trio, the scientist would surely be the most attentive one.
✈️He'd be quite strict with the things you can and cannot do. He wouldn't want to be mean, he'd just be a worried mess about your safety!
✈️The pilot would make sure to keep your physical activities at safe levels, helping you walk when necessary. Still, he wouldn't feel safe with you moving around a lot, so he'd convince you to stay in bed most of the time, resting. And when he is too busy with work (most of the time), he would have the Hatbots help you with things (like bringing you water or food).
✈️Regarding the things he doesn't know, he'd do research on what could help you. Painkillers? He would make an organized list of the most and least effective. Ice packs? He would set aside a whole row just for you. He may be a villain, but he's still a softie when it comes to the safety of the people he cares about.
🎸Demencia:
🦎It's a concession that Demencia would definitely have no idea what to do in situations like this, so again, you would have to explain it to her.
🦎If you were anyone else, she wouldn't be THAT caring... but assuming she cares about you, she would definitely try to help you, in her own (twisted) way.
🦎She would definitely ask to one of her racoons to steal things that'll help to entertain you, and when you're in too much pain to get up, she'd lay down next to you for cuddling, or in a more fun option: playing guitar to "help you sleep" (i'm sorry for you).
🥀Black Hat:
🎩Honestly, I don't think Black Hat would be very understanding about it. The greatest act of """""kindness""""" he could do was give you time off so you could recover.
🎩Still, this would only happen if he was in a VERY good mood. Black Hat heals people by hurting them, so he would probably kick or step on you (in a classy manner🙃), skipping the whole healing process.
🎩He wouldn't do it with good intentions, of course. It would be a huge delay for him to have one of his minions (even his s/o) on long rest, then that would lead to him healing you. You probably shouldn't thank him for that.

You really wish you knew some more words than that, and you’re pretty sure you did at one point, but they have suddenly, collectively decided to abandon ship, that ship being your grey matter.
Which is probably going to get splattered all across the lovely wooden paneling of the lounge any second now, judging by the way the tall, dark frame of your eldritch boss looms over you; his mad, triumphant grin stretching his face to the brink of physically possible while all you can do is claw at the armrests of your seat.
How?! How does he know? I thought Wingdings distracted him so he wouldn’t notice that we were talking- I thought that stupid cloak he gave me worked!
Blackhat takes a gliding step closer to you, red veins ready to burst within his single eyeball, exuding nearly tastable waves of malice now that he has you caught - thoroughly bumfuzzled, exhausted, and out of blinking juice!
“Wait- waitwaitwaitwaitwait!” Ah, so you do know at least one more word. It doesn’t help your either, though: your horrible boss crosses the remaining distance with a blurred motion, tipping the heavy armchair you’re still cowering in back with one hand, causing you to squeak at the jolt and protectively draw your arms and legs up. Ooooh you fucked up. Big time.
“No- wait- please! I c-, I can explain!” But Blackhat only bellows out a raucous laugh at your pathetic squirming.
“Mwahahahahar! Did you really think I would not notice what is going on beneath my own bloody roof?! Do you take me for a fool?! Is that it, ______?!” His thunderous roar shakes the small space of the lounge, making your ears ring even harder than before. You try desperately to come up with something that would enable you to talk yourself out of this without getting blasted to smithereens. Minor injuries were acceptable.

Just a little something before I take today off from writing, I’ll start on requests tomorrow!
How they flirt -
Flug -
Flug is a nervous wreck when he tries to flirt, though when he’s not paying attention he can be pretty smooth.
“How’s the most beautiful person in the world doing today?”
Flug: “I don’t know, how are you?”
He’s subconsciously a smooth mf. Flug also writes letters to you, with 5.0.5’s drawings attached to them as well. He’s always been better at writing out how he feels instead of actually saying it to someone. Especially a potential love interest.
Overall he’s nervous, but 8/10.
BlackHat -
BlackHat is a charmer, we’ve seen how he acts with some women. Though he only flirts with you when he wants something, usually. If you’re easily flustered however, he’ll also flirt just for laughs.
He’ll ask you for a dance every now and then as well.
6/10.
Demencia -
LISTEN. This girl is constantly using nicknames, cheesy pickup lines, THE GIRL HAS TRIED EVERYTHING. She likes to give you so many gifts, just don’t expect most of them to be normal. It’s like a cat bringing dead things to your doorstep.
Demencia: “HEY! Y/N!”
“Hm?”
“Rawr.” Said while biting her lip and winking at you.

But anyway I've been rewatching the Villainous dub an ungodly amount of times and realized that Black Hat and Alastor are stupidly similar. And of course different in many ways. Spoilers for Villainous.
Firstly, we need to address the obvious stuff that anyone will notice.

·Black Hat and Alastor both have red and black in their color schemes
·Black Hat and Alastor are both demons

But of course this surface-level stuff aren't the only things they have in common. Plenty of deep-cut information is similar.
