best decision i’ve made this playthrough was giving minthara a level in bard. mechanically i already knew it played well with paladin, and i really just wanted her to be proficient with her own lyre, but it’s heartwarming & funny as hell to watch npcs flock around her when she’s playing it like YOU’RE SO GOOD who taught you to play I WISH I COULD PLAY THE LYRE wahoo yippee girl SO TALENTED do you know any volo songs WE LOVE THIS wahoo girl. and she’s minthara. with her minthara scowl.

okay so despite all my celebration and breaking out the bottles of champagne over axe being an absolute BITCH in today's mandalorian episode, it's a little sad to let go of the possibility of a tough guy mandalorian who didn't want to do mandalorian stuff. you know how, in season 2's two scenes with him, he was stoic, reserved, kind of darkly humorous and grimly accepting of what had to be done, always deferring to bo-katan, and i wayyy extrapolated that into my fic/headcanon axe as someone who didn't really want to be in a fight all the time, but his clan loyalty and deep-seated grief over the loss of mandalore and burning need to do something about it drove him to cleave to bo-katan anyway. seems like we're getting two-dimensional tough bad guy axe instead which, while entertaining fun, does make me a little sad about the mandalorian's rather.. one-note characters

I want you guys to know how sucky of wingmen Gem and Sausage are in Withered Witch au. Like they keep trying to push Shelby and Katherine together but it never works because a) only Shelby can see them, b) they're really distracting and Shelby has to talk to them out loud, and c) they make the Evermoore look SUPER haunted and scary.

On the bright side, Katherine's coming over more for ghost hunting missions?
