#oras was literally a cultural phenomenon back in 2014. the hype for it was absolutely unprecedented.#and deserved as well they are impeccably good games.#like yes no battle frontier it's heartbreaking whatever but like every other aspect they built on made up for its absence imo#the delta episode and being able to fight deoxys in SPACE cements it in my top 3 mainline games without fail.#but i'm also biased. i am a hoenn child at heart. i can't begin to articulate the impact its release had on me at the time.#i genuinely remember tearing up in my fucking home ec class in junior high when i perused tumblr and saw that it had been announced.#like GOD!!! they're just so good.#like my only genuine complaint is that it suffers from the gen 6 curse of being a little too easy at time but#besides that they are masterpieces to me!! idc!!#and even if you prefer frlg or hgss as remakes there is no CONCEIVABLE way that it should be compared to bdsp.#they are not even on the same plane together. bdsp is an unapologetic dumpster fire. oras actually had effort and care put into it.#anyways it's trending rn on twitter and mx pokemonRUBY felt inclined to give their opinion. :)#also oras gave us impeccable redesigns. like wallace's salacious drip? Well, I mostly use it to talk about my jttw/lmk OC Zhaoyan (or just Zhao is fine). Zhao is a sorceress who was brought to the journey as a healer for Tripitaka. Basically, she has the power to heal any wound, illness, disease etc.

For now my tumblr blog is the only place. I do 100% plan to write an AO3 fanfic regards her one day (because she honestly has so much lore that isn't even jttw/lmk related). But not any time soon, I'm very busy with school and I still have to work her whole character out before I start writing. When I do publish the story I'll announce it here :D

Got any least favorite movies besides than Encanto?
Hmmm it is hard to think because I dislike or hate many movies but few are the ones that made me angry, this is more shows usually. So I don't know how I'll organize it
Oh well, just titles that just cross my mind : How To Train Your Dragons 2 and 3 (the 3rd is the WORST for total character and plotline assassination, the 2nd does resoect the franchise's spirit but oh boy I'd make a whole post about my problems with it), Ratatouille (not hate but I really do not care for cooking movies "OH NO HE RUINED THE SOUP WHAT A TRAGEDY !" I DON'T GIVE A SHIT and it randomly having cartoon physics in a "realistic" environment throws me off), The Wild (until Encanto THIS was the worst Disney movie), A Clockwork Orange (I KNOW it is a classic but I just find it boring and even if I DO know it IS on purpose to denounce society tgat the main character gets away in the end it frustrates me to have gone through all of that for naughts ; a good movie for that, it did its job good ! Just not for me lmao), Usual Suspect (it was SOOOOO boring I was nearly too asleep to get what was happening in the end, I found out like years later there was a plot twist in the end because it had sedated me THAT much I didn't pay attention at all to names and faces lmao), The Lion King live action remake (OOOH IT FELT LIKE NECROMANCY FOR HOW COPYPASTED BUT SOULLESS IT WAS IT HURT... I HATED IT SO MUCH I STRAIGHT UP STOPPED GOING TO SEE DISNEY LIVE ACTION REMAKES AFTER THAT), Star Wars 7 and 9 (ABSOLUTE FRANCHISE ASSASSINATIONS WITH A MARY SUE AND COPY PASTING FANDNSERVICE WITHOUT MAKING IT MAKE SENSE OR ORIGINAL, A FORCED SHIP, FORCED DRAMA... The 8th was flawed too BUT I liked it for DARING trying to be different !!!), Ice Age 5 (GOOD GOD IT WAS SO LAME AND UNFUNNY IT SHOULD HAVE ENDED WITH THE 4TH OR BETTER THE 3RD SINCE THE 4TH WAS OKAY AT BEST MEH AT WORST)... RIGHT now I can't think of more, I mostly have titles of movies I find meh or just too flawes but without being disliked either (like Wish. It is a BAD movie, objectively, Disbeh deserves this failure and I'm glad it flopped hard. Yet it was okay to me. And Rise of the Guardians was okay too, but no sorru folks visually sure it is gorgeous but plot and characters wise it is VERY meh and the ending/Pitch's defeat sucked ass I was frustrated and annoyed while I was like 14 and seeing how people adored it anyway made me understand/realize sometimes people will call media "good" only because it has beautiful looks) so idk more
There are also movies I didn't watch but refuse to because I know I WILL hate it or at the very least will be angry about for the posts and clips I saw and might grow to hate it out of frustration of seeing it praised. Like Nimona (a Tumblr/Twitter post that lasts for 1h30 and will be relevant only for 2 years. Also fugly artstyle and charadesigns, also I'm petty and I loathed how Tumblr used it to mock Elemental which was a masterpiece and the best Pixar in many years and the best Pixar romance so fuck this) and Wendell and Wilde (for all I read about the main character Idc she is grieving for her parents, she IS an ungrateful edgy bitch who actually HESITATED to sacrifice an innocent guy for her own gain but because she chose not to and because "she's a sad kid :(" the narrative passes her off as good and in the right. I'd have not been as patient as the nuns and her classmates, as kind as they were she kept hating and being angry over anything- sometimes a painful slap in the face and a kick in direction of a therapist's office is needed I'm sorry)

Allura: Mania. This girl is a mania stan idc idc she wasn’t very familiar w earth music but Keith introduced her to it when the were hanging out and she absolutely LOVED it. Her favourite song is stay frosty<3
Lance: Also Mania. This was during his and Keith's one sided rivalry phase so he did not want to admit he liked Keith's music (Until Hunk caught him jamming to hold me tight or don't in his room. Its his favourite song)
Keith: CORK TREE. Is this cliché for him? Probably. Idc though he loves that album so much he used to listen to it during lonely nights in the desert and it always reminds him of how far he's come. He even got Shiro and Adam to listen to it. His fav song is champagne for my real friends!!!
Hunk: AB/AP. He doesn't know much about fob besides it but he'd listened to it when he was bored at the Garrison and it really helped him bond with Keith!!!!! He loves listening to it when he's messing with the tech in the castle or cleaning his armour. His personal favourite is Favourite Record!
Pidge: Infinity On High. She's the type to relisten to a song multiple times focusing on a particular instrument each time and all the songs in ioh drive him NUTS because lbr the album is a fucking masterpiece? His favorite song is Don't You Know Who I Think I Am.
Shiro: Okay Shiro's a bit indecisive because he hasn't really finished any of their albums, just heard the songs that Keith's showed him, but he likes the songs from Folie the best! His favorite it The [Shipped] Gold Standard.

i was hungry at 2:59am and i was like i want taco bell so i opened uber eats (devil app) and i was looking for food and i didn’t even rlly want taco bell tbh it was just the only place open at 2:59am besides like mcdonald’s and fheir delivery fee was 5 dollars and i was like no that’s too much so i got taco bell and i was looking at the menu and i was like shit i can eat more than this number 2 supreme combo with large baja blast and i got to thinking abt it and i was like damn u know what i could eat two meals maybe even three at this moment and then i saw the masterpiece the taco bell menu called meal for 4. so i was like im gonna get this taco bell meal for 4 (online exclusive) and i ordered it and it was like 25 dollars and like 15 mins later my uber guy was like hey can u call me rq. and i was like oh no but i called and uber guy was like hey bro they’re fucking out of crunchwraps. what the fuck u mean they’re out of crunchwraps its taco bell that’s the crunchwrap place the place where you go to buy crunchwraps. so i was like damn if im not getting my crunchwraps that’s kinda ass dookie i spent too much on this fuck ass order to not get my 2 crunchwraps so i’m jut gonna cancel the order i guess so i tried to cancel the order and uber eats was like fuck u u gluttonous beast if u wanna cancel the order its gonna be like $35 and i was like damn. so i didnt do that i just told my uber guy to see if the taco bell guys can switch out the crunchwraps for like some more tacos or something so he asked the taco bell guy and he was like yeah we can’t do that. so i was like double damn. so i was just like fuck it its too much money to cancel this order i’m just gonna take the L and get the food without the crunchwraps. and this whole time my kickass uber driver was bending over backwards to get me my food ngl shoutout to dwaine the uber eats guy. so like we were on the phone and dwaine the uber eats guy was trying to get them to substitute some of my bullshit for other bullshit and he was like god this day has been rlly shit and i was like damn i lowkey feel bad so when he got my measly meal for 4 minus two crunchwraps to my house i tipped him like $10 mind you this was at 3 am inthe morning. and then i brought it inside and i realized i forgot to say no ice in my baja blast again like i always do so that kinda sucked too but that was my fault so idc and i sat in my nasty ass bed watching pirated adult swim cartoons and ate like 3 tacos and 2 chicken quesadillas in my bed with my dog like a fucking putrid fucking hog and i also wasnt able to finish it all because it turns out meal for 4 is not meant to be eaten by one person

about the dreaded webtoon lmao
(don't take this too srsly I'm too lazy to put much thought and effort into this post)
Okay so LO (lor3 Olympus)
It's honestly not that good, at all. I'm not going to say it's bad, but people glamorize the living crap outta it.
Basic plot summary: Persephone is a young adult out to see the world romance with hades yadda yadda fucked up shit happens yadda yadda. That's kind it. it's romance waddya expect something deep?
Listen I have a couple issues with LO. That mainly stem from the way ppl act like it's this great feminist love story it's not. Like it handles issues better than most cheesy romance stories, but key word being "better" not the best.
LO "promotes body positivity", literally Persephone has an hour glass figure and is petite. Very Marilyn Monroe, nothing wrong with that, but to pretend that it isn't the ideal body type for women is an understatement. She has some stretch marks and a slight belly, I'll give some props for that.
LO "handles abuse and trauma well". I'm not going to disagree with this point, it handles it well but the usage of trauma is just to make other characters look better in comparison. Like hades isn't exactly a stand up guy, he's better but the author had to make other men completely shit human beings to make him look good.
LO "is shows male abuse" again the author did the same thing but reversed it in order to make Persephone look like an amazing wonderful person UwU bean. She added minthe another shitty character. Hades abuse is still barely covered, Persephone might be getting help for her issues hades went to 1 therapy session and hasn't worked out his trauma at all.
LO falls into the traditional traps of literally any other romance shitty ex girlfriend, and creepy asshole. Like if you take away the fact it's "Greek mythology" it's just another garbage romance. Listen I love garbage romances I watch vampire diaries for ducks sake, the only thing that annoys me is the whole "it's super feminist uwu", cuz it's not.
It's a pseudo woke webtoon they added 1 lesbian couple for shits and giggles and 1 overweight character (in the background)
Listen LO is a webtoon that has the author's ddlg kink written all over it. (Yes she has a ddlg kink ask anyone who subs to her Patreon). Not to kinkshame anyone, but once you no that you can clearly see it in the story
Now I can't write romance for shit, but most of Persephone and hades interactions are them lusting after eachother, him buying her things, or delivering exposition. They occasionally talk trauma and set up boundaries, (which is good) but they don't have anything that makes me think they'll actually get along besides the fact they think the other one is hot.
Now the age gap thing is one of those things I gotta tip toe on, cuz people pull the "she's an adult yada yada".
It's not so much the fact that's she's "legal" it's the fact the webtoon gives her zero agency, she doesn't buy her own clothes, study what she wants, literally she has no desires outside of wanting freedom from her mother and lusting after hades. No goals career or aspirations. Nothing, ppl also like to go "she's a strong women uwu" she falls into the "the author didn't actually know what a strong female character is so they gave her some form of super power". Strong female characters aren't always physically strong, a strong female character is a female character who can stand on their own (without other characters) and you understand their wants, personality. The can be feminine and soft take wakana from utena or anthy himemiya they are strong female characters but aren't physically strong.
Persephone going apeshit on a bunch of villagers isn't queen shit it's a scapegoat because the author couldn't give Persephone actual motivation.
Hades is a whole nother bundle, dudes just kinda there? His main goal is a happy loving life (totally fair) but outside of his romance with Persephone he isn't doing much to do that. I won't get on the whole "he's creepy for lusting after a 19 year old" topic cuz that's a bag of worms that I agree and disagree with. Point is hades isn't the healthiest dude and has a lot to work through, he can still pursue Persephone but it would be nice to see him working through his stuff as well.
Now this is a tidbit that annoys the shit outta me so imma just put a big TW for RAPE and Virginity.
Okay so TGOEM or the concept of eternal maiden hood. First of of I hate the way virginity is used in this webtoon.
Like it's fucked up to say rape "counts". Persephone was raped so she according to the author isn't a virgin.
Again this is just a me thing, but rape shouldn't fucking count. It's not a "sexual experience" it's an act of violence. Yes it's sexual violence, but it's not and shouldn't count as your first time ever. A lot of women I know who's "first time" was rape are forever scared by it. And I personally would love it if popular media would stop portraying it as such.
It's fucked up, and the concept of eternal maidenhood isn't something that needed to be in the story. And the fact no one reached out to Persephone to explain this awful.

Another thing I have no issue with the age gap per say, LO isn't for kids so my issue is mainly that the platform itself markets it towards a younger demographic and had 0 ratings. It will likely also be tV 14 when it comes out, which will also annoy me at least make it NC 17 or TV MA, but only time will tell
But listen LO is summary is a trashy romance with slightly better handling of abuse and trauma. Don't expect this grand masterpiece. I read it cuz I like trashy romance.

book 4 of infinity train was amazing..... i really enjoyed it!! here are my thoughts! (spoilers under the cut)
you can tell unfortunately that this was a midway point in the overarching story. it did not have the vibe or the beats of a true finale season and it pains me to think about the fact that the show had to be cut so short. an 8 season story can’t be done justice with only half!!
regardless, looking at book 4 for what it is, i thought exploring what two passengers sharing the same problem and getting to that crossroad point in their life would be like was very interesting. AND THEM SHARING THE SAME NUMBER!! very glad they decided to have their numbers (mostly) synchronized.
i’ll get the things i enjoyed the least out of the way immediately: for one, i think most of the denizens in this book were not enjoyable at all. that talking castle was not it, and every other denizen that wasn’t kez was just ugly, annoying or a combination of both. we love to put the blame on amelia for fucking up the train but at least she put out some good god damn denizens lmao!
but also, i think the book spent too much time on fixing kez’s problem. there, i said it!! i’m especially upset that her episodes were the last two. i liked her but ultimately after going through the trauma of book 4, i was expecting some very heavy emotional stuff for the boys.
don’t get me wrong, the book hit that spot on a couple of occasions!! the museum car for one has to be one of my favorite episode in the entire series. hands down! mixing just the right amount of emotional turmoil and creepy, which is what infinity train really excels in.
i absolutely loved the relationship between min and ryan. part of me is a bit sad that we did not get the gays (i think getting two lgbtq+ asian characters at the forefront of the season would’ve been incredible), but i already knew this was a possibility going in and i.... i just wanted them to make up!!! and they delivered, ngl!
I LOVED SEEING AMELIA RIGHT AS SHE REACHED THE TAPE CAR. AND SEEING HER UNDO ONE IN THE BACKGROUND THROUGH THE STEWARD. that was so awesome and creepy! and the way she removed their boots... it’s obvious this was a set up for another book. it’s a shame we might never see the rest of it!!
also loved he first episode. i thought it was a cinematic masterpiece. the way the lives of the boys were set up after they broke apart was AMAZING. alright now to end on this cold take..... i think book 4 is my least favorite book as a whole. but it’s like saying an 80% is worse than a 90%, you know? the first 3 books are all fantastic in their own rights and so is book 4. i had a great time watching this final book. love me some relationship problems. still not over the museum car. i think what really held it back compared to the previous 3 is how a lot of the context surrounding the boys was just unappealing to me. like i did not care about morgan’s problems (or rather, i didn’t like how they approached the subject, besides kez saying “you never really left the fog” to jeremy which was great), the pig baby and the french cream cow no thanks, the bugs were annoying and relentless, the aliens ???, i guess the astronauts were funny but kez’s fake friends were so weird, idk... i really would’ve liked more of this wasted screentime to go to the boys. it could’ve been more tragic, more poignant, more intense! but what they did give to us was great even considering everything.
praying infinity train gets picked up somewhere! i desperately need more of it and i’m in denial that it’s over atm.

Shake It: it just might be a masterpiece luv. it's like this futuristic twerk anthem. ive never heard something like this before. the production is crazy. the first 1 minute had my head spinning. my favorite filter was the water one. EVERYONE SHOWED OUT ON THIS SONG. cupcakke snapped with that asmr verse. brooke candy came thru with that trashy but idc cut. pabllo vittar hammered her way thru this track loved that. 1) one song you 💛 the first time you listened to and never got tired of?
This is an easy but hard one because I have a collective mass of them but the first one that came to mind was Last Call by Adib Sin feat. Redza & Eliorkid. Adib Sin from what I understand is a hidden gem of a YT music artist and if I could afford it I’d def be funding him, I love almost every song he’s created and have them purchased and downloaded on iTunes, and this one in particular I always have to sing to. It’s kind of sad but I think part of the reason I like it so much (besides the fact that it’s beautiful) is that I partially relate to it...a lot. (Update: Idk why but it’s not on YT anymore :(( but if you wanna hear a bit of it I think it’s still on iTunes?)
2) one song you 😭 every time you listen or makes you emotional?
I don’t listen to this song much for this exact reason: Awake, BTS (Jin). Now hear me out, I don’t listen to much BTS in general because while I’m a huge fan of them individually as people I only have a few of their songs that I really like. The other is Narrow by Mayday Parade. (I’m secretly hoping that SKZ’s Chan would one day sing this? I think he would sound really good and I’d be bawling my eyes out lmao).
3) one song that always makes you happy/😁?
Again I have TOO MANY, but we’re gonna go with Owl City’s Back Home. This song always brings a small smile to my face and reminds me of home, and the life I’d like to live peacefully with my family out in country. It takes me to my happy place if you will. ^^”
4) one song that you would dedicate to your best friend and/or your family?
This one wasn’t hard: Yellow, Coldplay. This is mine and my dad’s song (whether he’s aware of it or not), we always sing it together in the car.

I almost went with Queen Lindsey and her badass violin for this one, but my heart brought me over to Stray Kids’ Insomnia and Awkward Silence. And a lot of their other songs. 3Racha and the boys are just talented af.

I have a few yet again. I’m always paying attention to lyrics if I can help it, because the meaning of songs is really important to me. I wanted to list a bunch of Twenty One Pilots songs here but I’m saving them for the next number, so instead here I’ll list Blue Roses, Flyleaf; When It Rains, Paramore; Woodwork, Knuckle Puck. I always have to sing along with these songs.
7) one song that you would recommend to anyone?
TOP’s Holding Onto You and Tear In My Heart. And just about any other song they’ve done. Tyler and Josh are two God blessed amazing guys. Also: Elevated, State Champs. I discovered this band when I was in a low point of stress and depression and they really helped to lift my mood and be more positive. Finally, Honey and the Bee by Owl City. Ummm this one I had to think about. I ended up choosing Phantom by The Story So Far because it’s not something I would normally listen to? But?? I sometimes just really like it and there’s something about it I just like and can’t explain...

I used to be really into Vocaloid just like Zero said in her post BUT I’m going with Known by Tauren Wells and Psalm 42 by Tori Kelly. I don’t think very many people in my generation listen to Christian music? Maybe it’s just the area I live in. I couldn’t go without it, I love these spiritually uplifting songs and I have many more like them.

OOF I’m not sure if this is true or not but: Chicken Noodle Soup, J-Hope and Becky G?? I just. I’m sorry I’m not a fan. It’s too memey for me. Uh the quiet type maybe. I’d rather not do teamwork and I just mind my business. Really I’m more of a get in get out type of student, I refuse to stay on campus for longer than necessary. I either get As or Cs because I sort of prioritize which classes are more important so I guess I still have hs mentality where I ignore the “elective” type classes. Need to work on that oof
Do you like school?
Sometimes. I actually took the most recent semester off (which ended like last week) because anxiety :))) My body was just not handling it well. The times I do like a school are honestly when I feel like I could get a moment of peace and quiet on campus but that’s not often

OOF I’ve had lots but here’s one from when I was 15. It’s basically my high school, all dilapidated and whatnot. I’m scrambling around trying to get to class when I reach the third floor of the main building and walk into the main hallway to see my principal, nude and morbidly obese with chains in his hands leading to a dozen naked and anorexic women with black button eyes (Coraline?) and like a mouse’s head? The women were scrubbing the floors and walls until their hands and knees bled. It’s all I remember but it’s stuck with me all these years and every time I think about it I get a bit nauseated

1. What are three things that you are proud of?
My parents. My love for reading. Harry Styles.
2. If you could learn how to sing/perform one song perfectly, what song would it be?
Change The World by Eric Clapton and/or Don’t Know Why by Norah Jonas. Those two songs are masterpieces and beautiful to play on the piano which is what I need to learn so I can stop asking my mom to accompany me on the piano. CTW is also a very beautiful arrangement that I would kill to know the guitar part of as well.
3. If you were a superhero, what would your superpower be?
What would I want my superpower to be? Power of persuasion? The power to copy other powers? Telekinesis, telepathy?
4. Do you have any tattoos/do you want any tattoos? Tell us about them.
I don’t have but I do want. The only thing i can tell you about them is that i like simple small designs like line art, minimal style things, pointillism as a method of shading, not extremely detailed or like hard just simple things like idk planets, roses, constellations, figures, cartoons or doodles, etc etc . 5. Where do you go when you need to think?
I wish I had a place. I wish I could tell you there’s this little house on a hill or a treehouse or a cafe o some interesting spot like that but I don’t leave my house much and there are no spots like those over here that I could just escape to. So I’m guessing I don’t go anywhere physically but I do mentally with the help of music or a good book.
6. What is your favourite Disney/animated movie?
I can’t choose. Every time Ella Enchanted is on I just have to watch it, but that’s not an animated movie, and I wouldn’t consider it a favourite (i can’t choose any favourites in anything sorry) Maybe Ratatouille? Or The Lion King?(the timon and pumbaa one)
7. What is your favourite book & why?
If I can’t pick an animated film how do you expect me to pick a book WOWOWOWOWOW talk about unfair, and impossible. Wings by Aprilynne Pike always comes to mind because I just LOVED it when I read it back in like 9th grade, and because I recently discovered it’s 5 books NOT 2 AND I HAVE ONLY READ 2!?

Nope. Not Saying. JK I Don’t have one. I’m always searching for new music and even older tunes that catch my eye I just... IDK. I do love sharing music, I love being able to light up someone’s day with a song recommendation cause it feels good to be all “yo listen to this, you’re going to love it” and share the love, but then again sometimes you discover a song and you’re like “nope, mine mine mine” and you want to keep it to yourself and then it’s on the radio and you’re like pissed but also glad cause now it gets the well deserved praise? That’s me too. And I don’t have any songs right now. Let’s go with Always by Panic! At The Disco. IDK why but I feel like not everyone has listened to that beautifully written jam, and everyone has to.
9. Where do you get your inspiration?
anywhere. I haven’t lived many experiences. Writing romantic fics/songs? I have the most inactive romantic life ever. It has never been activated for me to say it’s NOW inactive so... I just have a vivid imagination and I enjoy coming up with things, stories, scenarios, visuals, etc. I sometimes grab a tenth part of something that happened to me and sprinkle all the fiction possible and write it. My love songs are all stories I wish had happened to me or me writing from a friend’s perspective after they tell me their story and i live the romance vicariously through them. It’s why I don’t think my songs are any good. They are not real cause I never experienced that. And that’s just when it comes to romance stuff, there’s a whole other batch of genres I’ve never experienced IRL and still try and talk about.
10. What makes you happy?
Harry Styles. Music. Writing. Reading. Doodling. My Family. Imagining a future in which im happy and have some answers to some of my questions. my friends. making friends. Discovering things i like. Travelling. Not having depressive thoughts. Watching my fave youtubers. Seeing other people happy
11. Why are you a 1D fan?
boy, oh boy. I have no idea. They just drew me in, without me looking for anything they just popped and I liked it and there was nothing wrong with that, I just like music idc who sings it and then we see if I like the artist as a person to explicitly follow all their work, which happened with 1D, I read up on them and caught their performances on the tv or looked them up and realised how awesome they were as humans and that made me like them a bit more to the point where I was a fan. An Actual Fully Fledged fan, not just an “oh i like this song” and I have no idea how, or why, it just happened and they were too good to drop. I am a fan cause they are amazing people. Isn’t that just how it goes? You don’t know why you love someone, you just do, and that’s how it goes.
