Fall is one of those movies that I'll never not be sad about.

The implications behind the movie; Becky being so terrified to live her life after Dan's death, and then Hunter just desperately wanting to give her back her spark...

And then, Hunter dying to save Becky, both from the tower, and from wasting away in her grief.

I couldn't resist my fix-it urge because TIME TRAVEL :D

I’m just going to say it, even if Kit Connor was straight, it wouldn’t have been queerbaiting for him to play Nick, and the fact that people are still harassing a teenager over his perceived sexuality is bullshit

My favorite chaos Travis, Connor and I ever caused was dressing up as OSHA and going around camp roasting the shit out of it. We told Chiron that Connor had taken some notes on his clipboard and when Connor handed the paper to him it had a bunch of dicks drawn on it.

Y’all felt so comfortable demanding Kit Connor label himself, speculating about his sexuality and harassed him so much that he had to out himself (clearly before he felt comfortable sharing that information publicly) just to get you all to shut up and leave him alone. I hope you all feel ashamed of yourselves tbh.

Ngl I got mad beef with people that assume celebrities are straight just because they refuse to label themselves as queer in a climate where that could very much put them at risk and force them to pick a label for themselves when they're still figuring stuff out

"Is this about—" yeah, probably. Whatever celebrity you have just assumed is straight with absolutely NO confirmation from said celebrity, especially if they create art that is in any way queer coded and are openly supportive of the queer community 🤷🏽‍♂️

crazy that it took an 18yo being forced to out himself for some people who love to sport an holier-than-thou attitude about something they haven’t considered the ramifications of for more than 5 seconds, to realize that MAYBE demanding that only queer actors play queer characters is a completely dumb f*cking idea that harms queer actors more than opening up opportunities for them. have any of you who complain every time a non-openly queer actor gets cast in a queer role ever thought about what you’re asking for? have you thought about the fact that what you’re essentially asking is for actors who wish to audition for queer roles to LITERALLY LIST their sexual preference in their resume or for casting directors to demand to know an actor’s sexual identity before they allow them to audition????? HOW in the world is this protecting or helping queer actors?? not to mention, WHO draws the line and where? who decides what sexual identity is good enough, “queer enough” to portray a certain role? you say “only queer actors should play queer characters” and you open up the door for others to say just as easily “well only GAY actors should play gay characters or only BI actors should play bi characters”. do you understand this continued obsessive gatekeeping of sexual identities and tokenization of labels is doing way more harm than good? do you understand it’s dividing the community instead of bringing it together????? and even more, do you realize that NOBODY, actors and celebrities included, should ever be pressured into sharing their sexual identity if they don’t want to and that asking that only queer actors get cast in queer roles essentially means asking that only OPENLY queer actors get cast in queer roles, effectively reducing job opportunities for closeted actors???
