So I made an au for Tokyo revengers and it is a crossover with the Walten files, I had much fun making this, also I would like to point out some things,

1. Shinichiro is alive and still works at his bike shop

2. Grandpa Sano past away and is in peace (fly high😔🕊)

3. Mucho is alive and works with sanzu at a cafe that is famous for their cheesecake

4. Sanzu has white hair faded with rosy pink

5. I added some oc’s to help with the story line

6. Time settings 1980’s-2000’s but the diner open somewhere in the 2000’s

7. (This one is important) the story line is like the Walten files but with a few twists

8. The plane incident with sanzu and Mikey did not happen but sanzu got into a car crash which caused him not only get a mouth injury (like ticci Toby from creepypasta) and sanzu feeling uneasy in cars also he is not a drug attic but don’t worry he still has crazy goblin energy.

So anyways here is the animatronics: Danny the dog, Becca the bunny, Taiga the tiger, Hyde the hyena, and Dolly the dog. I will give more post about them, other characters, and the au it’s self.

been working on a lot of them lately and one is with them all grown up with children of thier own, I can post an updated OC list if you want to see which ones I gave children to. Working on a NSFW Jackson Jekyll fanfic and  my OC Amber gave him a massive hickey,lol I also have quiet a few same sex couples in some of the stories. Also on wattpad I have two SFW fanfics and you can find them by using the user name I have here as it’s the same there. I need to work on my Valentine Fanfic, I stopped at the point where it’s discovered he in fact is the new lunar  god and a real road block in Sunfire’s crazy adoptive Aunt and Uncle’s scheme. I do have a story where Holt Hyde gets alot of attention much to Jackson’s annoyance and I have a few of them where Jackson and Holt are seperated from eachother making them thier own person, I also say they are brothers when like that.  For the Hickey or Love Bite as some call it, I’m trying to picture Jackson trying to explain that one when it becomes visable and the reactions the others would have to it,lol  I also have a fanfic with Invisi Billy and my OC Becca Cohen and let’s just say Scarah Screams is not to fond of her...and Cleo DeNile is not to fond to my OC Lyla Tigre,lol Also Lagoona doesn’t like my OC Eella Moray either, can’t help it thier boyfriends found those girls interesting,lol Lyla gets alot of attention since she actually plays sports with the mansters and her favorite to play is Casketball. I may update the list later as there are more I have yet to name and make profiles for.  As for some of the same sex couples having children, two have special ablites that allow them to have children where as Spectra helped Porter and Loki have a child. Storm and Nova Cohen are often in some kind of trouble with the others usually bailing them out. Jayson Jekyll is  Autistic and Lynx has ADHD. Jayson can’t stand loud noises,slimey textures and the only ones who can touch him are his family and friends, he freaks out if a stranger goes to touch him. He even freaks out if a doctor goes to touch him, his dad usually has to go in with him to keep him calm so he can get his check up. Jayson is also verbal meaning he can communcicate with you. Heidi is usually the one who calms Jayson down when he freaks out and she uses her noise cancling headphones to help him block out loud noises so he calms down. I have ADHD and I know someone who is Autistic, so I created these two this way for a reason and yes I was bullied for having ADHD as the idiots never took the time to do research on it so they thought I was to stupid to learn anything, fooled those idiots though, I’m way smarter then they thought I was. Also the person I know who is Autistic yeah they get picked on to so i made two special characters to help get to know these two spectrum disorders...and as Lady Gaga would say, I was born this way. Lynx’s dad Ketsu also has ADHD and if you read the story “Horror Movie Magic” On wattpad, when he comes in he and the other explain what ADHD is and how it affects a person, in the story with Jayson, now that he’s a teenager, he’s the one who comes out about Autisum and tries to help the others understand it and how it differs from person to person and how some are not verbal and can not communicate and how frustrating it is and Heidi shows how being willing to work with them is a learning experience for you and how you can help them as she works with her brother when they are much younger and works with him as a teenager as well. I can not stand bullies and do not like seeing people with Autisim and ADHD picked on just because one does not understand what is was and I just love the idiots who think a mental illness is contagious and try to avoid the person all together...newsflash for you idiots its not contagious the person is born that way and sometimes it’s not caught until way later in life.  Ketsu’s ADHD wasn’t caught until adulthood much like mine was but his sons was caught when he was in 4th grade. Jayson’s autisim wasn’t discovered until he was in 5th grade.  Also I read some head injuries can acually cause ADHD like symptoms and may eventally lead up to a diganoses of it. I’d rather take the time to learn about what a person has rather then jump to conclusions are treat them badly because I don’t understand it, it’s much easier for me to sit down and do research on what they have and get an understanding of it that way I get an understanding of them and what they have to go through with it. I’d rather treat everyone equally and like a human being, I’d rather reach out and help someone rather then push them away. So even though they are O.C’s created by me, Ketsu,Jayson and Lynx are special to me. Keep in mind everyone is special and unique in their own way. Be Yourself no matter what anyone else says, you are you, you are special in your own way, you were born the way you were. Monster High teaches us about acceptence, how everyone is different and how to be yourself.  Writing is an outlet for me and it helps me express myself and I love it when my writing also helps others. Another thing about me is, your sexuality doesn’t matter to me, you are a human being and deserve to be treated like one and that is shown with Heidi when her brother comes out as gay, she loves him no matter what,He’s her brother and if anyone picks on him because of it they end up dealing with Heidi and she’s not to pleasent when pissed off. Lyla is protective of her brother as he’s openly gay and still gets idiots on his case...Manny Taur but after Lyla beats the crap out of him he let’s Tay alone.   Oh and how does Lyla beat the crap out of Manny with her being way smaller them him, size doesn’t matter, she takes him down during football (or what ever it’s called in the monster high world) practice and beats the ever loving crap out of him for him bullying her brother Tay. Amber Also beats Manny up when she catches him picking on Jackson Jekyll, she also has to pull Jackson out of his locker but she still beats Manny’s ass for it. So yeah to these girls size does not matter...him picking on thier loved ones was his downfall. Sophie also beats the catnip out of Toralei because she get’s Heath into a whole heap of trouble and it did not sit well with Sophie who can mutate her hands into weapons, she can also mutate her body covering it with armor like skin so yeah Toralei doesn’t damage her at all. Fighting doesn’t really solve anything but in thier cases it teaches the bully what happens when you mess with some one they care deeply about. Edit :I updated the list.

Day 2 in London part 1-

Becca and Matt went for dueling AM runs while kiddos ate breakfast. Then we headed over to buckingham palace to check out the coronation prep. Got there right after changing of the guard (we think) so crowds were dissipating but big. Lots of grandstands set up, TV stations broadcastin in multiple languages and stuff barricaded off to get ready for the parade. Then we walked over to hyde park and took our first double decker bus ride to the far corner to check out Princess Diana Memorial Playground.

Deena Johnson (Fear Street) is the female equivalent of Steven Hyde and no one can tell me otherwise

heyyy so I’m curious about this. In your opinion, what are the each member of the gang’s love languages, receiving and extending?

Good question! I'll answer them based on the things I saw in the show, and in how I view the characters. Some people might not agree with my opinion here and that's totally okay.

Anyway, here it goes:

Hyde - Physical touch. That's pretty obvious when you watch the way he acts with Jackie on the show. Also, quality time and acts of service. He's not a guy of many words, but he always finds a way to show the people he loves that he cares about them (for ex: pulling the fire alarm at the motel all night because he didn't want Donna to sleep with Casey and hurt Eric; protecting Fez from the bullies; shaving his beard for Jackie; making her sleep with him at the Forman's because she was alone at her house; helping the Forman's around the house, etc).

He's not comfortable hearing people telling him how much they love him (although I do think that he likes hearing that from Jackie every now and then), so I'd say he likes to receive the same love languages he gives people.

Jackie - Words of affirmation, receiving gifts, and physical touch. Those first two are pretty obvious, we saw it in her relationship with both Kelso and Hyde. Her constant need for compliments probably results from her insecurity after being cheated on so many times, and the gifts... well, c'mon, her parents literally bought her love during her entire life, of course she would think that gifts=love.

During her relationship with Kelso, she used to demand compliments and gifts all the time, and she also bought him a lot of stuff and kept feeding his massive ego. That changed when she started dating Hyde.

Hyde helped Jackie grow, it's one of the reasons why I love them so much. She asked him for gifts a few times, but she stopped after a while, because he teaches her that affection and love can't be bought. She looks more than glad to be on the receiving end of all his loving touches, and she also likes to be the one touching him. She was not like that with Kelso, and to me, that just proves that what she and Hyde have is the real deal.

Kelso - Receiving gifts and words of affirmation.

Kelso loves receiving gifts, that's also pretty obvious. We saw the way he literally took advantage of that when he was still with Jackie. He doesn't like giving gifts though, mostly because Kelso is pretty selfish and we hardly ever see him doing something nice for people (that's right, I said it). I love him, but most of the time, he only shows love for himself, so it's pretty easy to know what he likes to receive, not so easy to know what he gives.

He likes to receive compliments, because as I said before, he does have a massive ego. But he knows how to compliment people too when he wants to.

I guess I could also say physical touch too? I mean, he's always hugging his friends whenever he's too excited, and whenever he's sad, he likes to be comforted via touch.

Fez - Physical touch, words of affirmation, and quality time.

Fez is by far the most sensitive person in the whole group (that's not a bad thing, btw). He's not shy about touching his friends and complimenting them whenever he wants to. He did that many times on the show, with literally almost every single character.

He also likes to spend his time with the people he cares about. He felt left out when Kelso was busy with Brooke and the baby, and when he was dating Nina, he spent so much time with her that she felt suffocated and broke up with him. Not to mention how much he liked to spend time with his friends and the Forman's.

Eric - Acts of service, words of affirmation, and physical touch.

Eric may be a dumbass, and he may have done his fair share of stupid things on the show, but he's ALWAYS willing to help the people he cares about. He makes Hyde move in with him and his parents, he covers for Donna when she's smoking at school and ends up getting suspended because of it, he postpones college to help his family after Red's heart attack, and many other things.

He can be really sweet with words when he's not too nervous. As much as I hate the whole engagement storyline from season 5, I have to admit that his speech to Donna was the most adorable thing ever, and I think it's really cute how he loves Donna and isn't afraid of showing it.

And physical touch, well, Eric and Donna haven't had so many cute and touchy background moments like Jackie and Hyde did, but he sure touched her a lot. He always had his arm wrapped around her, they like to cuddle when they go to sleep, they kiss a lot, etc.

Donna - Acts of service and quality time.

When Eric needed to get his homework done when his grandma was in town, Donna was the first person that offered to help him. It was actually really cute. She does many other things like this (like baking brownies for him and bringing them when she went to visit him while he was "working"; agreeing to dress as a flag with her parents even though it's very embarrassing, etc.)

And we can see how happy Donna was when Jackie offered to spend the whole day with her after her mother left. They were clearly having a good time, and Donna was touched by Jackie's actions (man, that's why I love s4, so many good Jackie/Donna friendship moments, ugh). Donna also spent a lot of time with Jackie after her first breakup with Kelso, she gets upset whenever she and Eric can't spend a lot of time together (like when he got that job at Fatso Burger).

She likes physical touch too, I guess, but I always have the feeling that Eric's the one who reaches out to her. By the way, that's not a bad thing, people that don't like Donna.

I have spent an embarrassingly long time looking at all the boston neighbourhoods (and i still don't think i've got them right!). Thanks for thinking of me and my girls, E <3 

idk why, or if i saw it somewhere in my early fandom days, but i hc Ethan as living in Back Bay. It’s a blend of historic and new build high rises, and enough upscale commercialism to give him a bit of culture. He lives in a purely residential block in Back Bay East, close to the park and the Opera House and a 10-minute drive from Edenbrook. (i hc edenbrook to be in the same place as tufts)

i feel like the gang would live in south end, like the shawmut area in a four-story wannabe brownstone apartment building because i don’t pay for the fancy apartment lol 

When Becca and Ethan have their two precious baby girls they either move to Hyde Park or Cambridge, I can’t decide. Somewhere with a lot of greenery, spacious town homes with a back yard, good schools, and no more than 90 minutes to Edenbrook. 

After residency Odette moves into her own place in Bryce’s neighborhood in South Boston, a bit farther from Edenbrook than she was used to but a nice haven from all the hustle and bustle of her job. 

Ode and Ethan move into his bachelor pad in Back Bay and then buy two adjoining units a few floors above for their forever flat. They buy her dream home in a small, exclusive town on the bay of Cape Cod.

There are a few people who do know (other guides Andrew's met before, the Dryad, and I'd imagine the Witch Doctor knows something's up even if he doesn't know why), but none of them live in Purity Town proper, and the Dryad and Witch Doctor aren't the kind to participate in rumors or spread what isn't theirs to share. The old man is also aware just because he and Andrew have talked about their curses, but he's 1) not currently in town and 2) not going to share even if he were.

Most folks don't know much about Andrew in general; Becca probably knows the most out of the townsfolk, knowing a little bit about his family and where he's from (he has some pretty specific skills as a hunter that betray this, but he doesn't talk about his exact town of birth), but no specifics and certainly not time periods.

Andrew is good at keeping things quiet; he has to be.

I would actually appreciate if you didn't post to Pinterest -- usually I'm fine with people reposting with credit (several of the things I've posted to my DeviantArt have found their way to Instagram, for example) but Pinterest has something of a reputation for stolen art (things being reposted from another Pinterest post without credit this time, or credit being hard to view for users not logged in or just viewing through Google). So reposting elsewhere is fine (though if you repost to Reddit or Instagram, tag me at u/Ariibees or @Ariibees)! I'd just prefer my works stay off of Pinterest.

The terminology related to The Guide/Andrew/The Guardian/The World’s Core/The WoF is all confusing because on some level, they’re all the same being. Kind of like trying to talk about Jekyll and Hyde -- same guy, different looks/actions, haha.

For all intents and purposes, references to the WoF being the barrier/core/whatever behind or within which the spirits of light and dark are contained is equivalent to saying “these spirits are held trapped by the magic of the Guardian, who when summoned appears as the WoF.” I do break slightly from the official lore in how the WoF/Guardian/thing holding back these spirits works (mostly because I don’t really like the idea that the Hallow is a “temporary guardian” or whatever), but the basic concept of “these are trapped by [thing that makes up the WoF]” remains unchanged.

If “loony cultist” is a reference to something, I’m so sorry, but I’m lost on it. If you’re just talking about the lunatic cultist in a funny way, then yes, they’re in here as a very plot-significant character!

Andrew’s most annoyed by the nickname because people do like to call him Guide, and for someone who’s dedicated his whole life to his role, it can get tiring. He doesn’t really *mind* being called Guide -- it’s fine, that’s what he is and as long as people are respectful of his job he’ll take what he can get -- but at the same time, he’d like for people to stop thinking “Aah! Monster!” or “Weird academic know-it-all” and just...treat him like a normal person sometimes. So he fights to be called Andrew. And...Malik comes along and gives him a nickname that he doesn’t like and doesn’t allow others to use, save for maybe a small group of people of which Malik is not a part. So, not cool, man!

People love to overcomplicate explaining shading/lighting, and if you wanted to you could certainly go on and on about reflections of light off the ground and shading colors and all sorts of things, but as I’m writing this at 1 AM I don’t really care to.

If you really want to get into shading, I see nice ones on DeviantArt or Tumblr from time to time, or you can always watch a YouTube video on it. Really, though, just keep at it, think about how the shadows should look and work, and you'll get better at it eventually and pick up new ideas on how it all works. (And this is coming from someone who is new to making comics and actually started as a painter.)

Purity Town’s shading comes down to this: simplicity. As much as I’d love to spend hours and hours redrawing the panels I don’t like and carefully shading every fold of fabric and painting detailed backgrounds, I’m a full-time college student and will be working full-time over the summer -- I don’t have the time. So, I cut corners: I reuse backgrounds or use brushes (see: bricks, trees, clouds) that make certain details easier, and I try not to obsess too much over panels I’m not fully happy with. Shadows go where they feel right, and light on the opposite side.

For shading, this comes down to making things quick and easy. For these last few pages, character shading/lighting has only been five layers. One hard light layer for the bluer soft shadows, one overlay layer for darker soft shadows, one linear burn layer for hard shadows, one soft light layer for soft lighting, and one overlay layer for hard lighting. I’ll often also make use of glow dodge layers for lighting, or change the color balance or add more hard/soft light layers if there’s a very heavy color filter on the scene (such as a celestial event, blood moon, or outdoors at night).

Using all the different layer types is essentially a cheat code to fancier lighting -- don’t want to use flat black? Boom, hard light or overlay or burn will give you colored shadows. Want to make your light brighter? Glow dodge will make it burn your retinas.

Sorry that this isn’t a very comprehensive guide, but in my mind, shading and lighting is really something that you pick up over time and it’s hard to sit down and write a guide for it without making it into a massive essay on art theory that I don't even know proper terminology for because I'm not an art student. Of course with some googling you’ll find *proper* guides for this sort of thing from art majors and the likes, and those can be super helpful and technical! But for Purity Town, I just sort of go with what feels right and what's easy to replicate.

Firstly, I’m happy to hear you’re liking the comic!

Secondly, those buttons are actually there due to the theme! (For those on mobile who can’t see it, I have the theme set to only display on desktop as I prefer the current mobile layout on phone.) I’m using the simple webcomic theme (a quick Google should tell you how to install it for yourself) -- except I’m not actually using it for the webcomic features; rather, it’s a case of “this is the most simple, nice-looking non-default theme I could find.”

The previous/next buttons are added by the theme with the intent that the blog is being used as a typical webcomic website, with nothing but comic pages being posted. However, I post asks and other art here too, and I do so with the intent that people looking at #Terraria or their dashboards in general will see it. So...I use html formatting to make the first/previous/next/last links, along with an index and chapter-by-chapter viewing (using /tagged/chapter##/chrono) so that no matter where you’re coming from, you can still navigate just the pages!

If you want to add just the previous/next buttons, I can’t really help you -- web development is not my area of study in the slightest. But you can check out the theme that they come from and if you want to install only them, you can surely find a tutorial on it somewhere!

(As a side note, the comments section is not from the theme, it’s from a site called Disqus. I don’t expect many people, if anyone, to leave comments, but since I link back to this site a lot and many folks don’t have Tumblr accounts, it’s an option I like to make available.)

Hiya! My hike was pretty nice; it was a short and easy one, but that was quite appreciated as the trail is unmaintained from November to April, and the trail was covered in fallen trees and quite rocky. Still had fun, though!

And for backgrounds, it depends! For indoors scenes (or outdoors scenes with buildings) I don’t tend to use references, outside of looking up things like “which side of a door is the handle on.” I will, however, integrate real-life textures (see: the quilt and rug in Guide’s house, the wood walls on the building in the background of this week’s page), and paint over paintings from the Terraria wiki.

For outdoors scenes, for simple backgrounds (such as foliage-heavy) ones, I typically don’t need references. I like the difference between detailed, lined indoor/man-made object scenes vs. painted, messy outdoor scenes. But for things like mountains, I do sometimes look up references to help with color choices and the likes.

The town’s layout is a bit strange in that depending on the scene, the background could be drastically different. One side of town faces more mountainside, one side faces the orchards/open hillside, and the other two sides face various degrees of open space and more mountainside/forest. References taken on top of mountains are helpful to get an idea of what degree of foliage I should include between the characters and the sky.

Though this is very specific to the town of Purity -- other towns/villages will have significantly different-looking backgrounds, even the foliage-heavy ones.

That said, what's even more helpful than looking at photos is looking at paintings. Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron is really good for getting an idea of how to draw grasslands and distant mountains, plus Studio Ghibli movies in general!

Stucky Catfish AU prompt(s)?

I keep watching Catfish episodes and I cannot stop thinking about potential stucky aus? Ft. a bit of angst

1) Shrunkyclunks: Steve was found but now there is already a new Cap in the world and Steve just wants to be Steve. The more he lives in this new world, the more he is overwhelmed and struggling with his mental health. There is just so much noise, so much choice, no one has brought him up to speed on anything and he doesn't know anyone. He feels out of place and wishes he had never been found in the ice. He ends up being very scared to leave the house. The only person he sees is this lady that comes to install 'the internet' and the teenager from the rescue centre where he adopts a puppy called Dodger. Everything else he needs he orders online or on the phone and gets it delivered. But loneliness catches up to him and googling about he ends up on a dating website and makes a profile 'Grant Dodger'. There he starts talking to Bucky and it goes from there. Bucky is beautiful, he is very patient with him (especially about him not getting many references... 'what do you mean you haven't seen this movie?', but he's nice about it, they start reading the same books and then move on to have phone conversations while watching the same movies). But Steve keeps avoiding Bucky's offers to video chat ('I don't know how to do that') or to meet. He doesn't look the way he used to, he has let his hair and his beard grow, he looks 'rougher' and has put on some weight (apparently super soldiers can do that). But it's not even just the appearance, it's that he just doesn't know how to interact with people anymore. And he knows it's going to scare Bucky away. He has been himself on the phone, but he has also lied to Bucky. Eventually with the help of Nev and Max they end up meeting. They are very suspicious because they can't find anything about him online at all. But on the phone he sounds very genuine and admits that he is very scared of going out, so they agree to fly Bucky out to him. Steve orders some flowers and makes some biscuits. He's shaking when he comes out of the house, dressed the best he can (in some very old fashioned way!!) and 'these are for you?' he says as he extends the flowers to Bucky, face bright red, lips bitten and eyes on the verge of tears. Bucky loves him so much.

2) Shrinkyclinks or Post-Serum non!Cap Steve/Modern!Bucky: Second option is if it's Bucky catfishing Steve. I can see it as Bucky being a veteran and having been captured/tortured by Hydra, which has left him with many scars and missing his left arm. He never got a prosthetic cause the one that was given to him was only making everything worse. Now either Bucky uses his flatmates Brock's pictures or his twin sister Becca's pictures, or he only sends selfies very up close of his face, looking a bit to the left so as to hyde the scars on his left temple (he has let his hair grow out, but he's still self-conscious about them). He meets Steve online, they exchange pictures, Steve is beautiful, sweet, an amazing artist (or a big sweet himbo frat-boy). But Bucky keeps refusing to meet even if they don't live too far (he moved to New Jersey when he came back from the war, NY was just too much for him, too many memories). Steve's friends keep insisting he's being catfished by an old guy using someone else's pictures, so they call Nev and Max. Bucky reluctantly agrees to meet up. He's very scared of Steve's reaction, but Steve is just so in love and so fricking relieved that it's not an old guy that he just wraps Bucky up in his arms and smooches him ("You are gorgeous). If he used Becca's pics then I just imagine Nev/Max and Steve's friends being very surprised when Bucky admits that is his twin and sorry and i didn't mean to trick you and Steve just goes in for that kiss.

3) A way to combine both? If they both catfished and lied to each other but there were reasons why?
