So, I found this randomly, but apparently this woman…Caryll…was an English lady who was known for receiving divine visions?? One of her most famous ones was a vision of an icon in the sky that represented the death of Christ, but also foretold the murder of Tsar Nicholas Romanoff. This was her…known for her red hair…

She apparently saw these visions throughout her life and they were religious-themed because she was Catholic. Priests apparently sent people to her to be healed as well…there’s so much here…

Some key details about her visions…

I mean seriously…wtf…

And her life was heavily shaped by her mystic insight too…

She was also known for her love of wood-carving…particularly religious, Catholic woodcarving…

I've been thinking this for a while, but I finally feel like saying it: I think people who hate on Heartstopper for being 'too soft' are out of their minds. If you claim a series which shows teenagers dealing with things like homophobic prejudice, self-harm and eating disorders, and who (in the comics and books) have sex without it being fetishised like most teen dramas, is 'too soft' because the characters get through that stuff and have happy lives and relationships, that says some really shitty things to me about your attitude to queer media.

I suggested my friend (new KH player) streams Days before KH2 but I also warned him I'm in the far minority and there might be a little backlash

Agsjflg catholic school was a nightmare BUT the gossips that come from there are delicious

#my ramblings #apart from the usual boring gossips of a normal school we get to know the gossip from the nuns and the priests lol #turns out the priest that was assigned to the school idk how that works but we had a young priest like fresh from the seminary back then #the one who we all knew was like the newbie because the nuns were both pampering him #and nagging at him to do the chores they didn't want to #well the guy was assigned to our school when we were in eight grade and the nuns were really weird to us because #you know stupid victim blaming and saying the dude would be tempted by eight graders asking him why he was tending to the school's garden #the thing is he was pretty chill and actually a nice person when it came to giving advice buuuut the nuns were always sus about him #because the rest of the priests were older and bitter AF about everything #so they always gave him a hard time #well the guy endured it after our graduation and like good for him #BUT today I was informed that this guy resigned his priesthood and like WHAT #you went through the ordeal of letting those bitter nuns boss you around all that time and quit when you were going to be moved somewhere #else???#and yes but no #the dude resigned AFTER the mandatory trip to italy that the order does #so our schools is catholic and salesian so they go to Italy and visit Saint Bosco's school or something idk #and the priest resigned IN Italy!#because he found a nice Italian boyfriend!#goood for you dude! good for you!
