Kuang’s #yellowface #which truth be told I couldn’t finish because I got too much 2ndhand embarrassment #had to just skim through the last 100 pages cuz I couldn’t take it anymore #I need to learn my lesson and stop trying to read that insufferable traumatized white woman unreliable narrator genre of books #you know #the girl on the train-esque type books #my other personal problem with this book was that it hit a lil too close to home #cuz I’m a korean-American woman who nearly went into the publishing industry #might’ve dodged a bullet there lol #will say though that the book is good #if you like that unreliable narrator traumatized white woman genre I recommend it #moonie posting

got another job interview tomorrow. pray 4 me

#it was originally for a busser or server job at a cocktail bar in a luxury hotel but the manager on the phone seemed like she wanted to #interview me for the position of host so. yeah #I’m a little intimidated by that role because I am not the most social person on earth to say the least but. I may be able to get used to it #and I will admit. I am kind of motivated by the pay and tips from being a host. cause holy hell it’s 18 bucks an hour plus tips #and that’s plus tips at a 4 star hotel. where the menu is pretty pricy and the people coming there Well Off.#I didn’t really consider that before but hhhhhhh……………that sure is enticing #hoo boy but anyway. a little nervous about this interview cause I’ve never done a host or server job before #but my conversation with the manager over the phone seemed to go pretty well i think so hey #kibumblabs #oh yeah I also cut my hair short last minute and i can’t tell if that was a horrible idea or not yet #it’s not nearly as finished as I’d want it to be but. here we are I guess #I havent legit cut my own hair (let alone this Much of it) in like. a couple years now I think #I think it looks fine but I’m just hoping I don’t regret it #I know it’ll grow out again eventually but idk #I did this kinda impulsively because of the job interview tomorrow. like I was kinda worried for such a nice place they’d be a little #picky with their appearance preferences and like. I didn’t want it to look like my hair was overgrown and unstyled like it was + most of #the bleached parts are cut off now so it looks a little more sophisticated I guess #but also I’ve been getting a little dysphoric lately because I haven’t been passing despite being almost 2 years on t and I think my hair #being longish wasn’t helping #now you can see my jawline and the haircut is more traditionally masculine and etc so. praying I am not called ma’am or anything at the #store or whatever anymore.

okay all of my three papers i have due by thursday or friday are outlined at the very least. yay! but i want to have at least one in by wednesday morning.

#and then i have a final exam on wednesday also. i’ve finished every other assignment aside from those three papers 😭#one of them is nearly written actually the outline is really detailed i just need to make it coherent #one of the other papers will just be stream of consciousness for 7-10 pages #and the last one. well. no one knows how long it’s supposed to be not even the professor because she has told us at least three different #things. and my classmates are saying. oh i’m writing 3 pages double spaced #but the professor said in class. 6-8 double. but then on the assignment doc. it just says 4 #but once on the doc it says double spaced. and then later it says single. so. who knows!!! i don’t #i’m going to go with. 5 or 6 double spaced pages. probably. idk #it’s the last one i have due so it depends on my patience level #and how lucrative my sources are for that. 😭

Hello I am still alive but I fell back into my SRMTHFG phase

#I don’t talk about SRMTHFG nearly as much as I should but here we go #So! It was one of my favorite shows growing up #And then they took it off of Disney Channel. And it was fucking canceled. On a CLIFFHANGER #And sitting through Intro to Anthropology and being reminded of how weird monkeys are made me think of SRMTHFG again #So here we are I guess #On an unrelated note CelticPhoenix opened up auditions for the Sketchy Huntsmen again and I think I’m gonna shoot my shot #But that means I’ll have to make new stuff this month since I haven’t drawn in a while and my art’s changed since last year’s auditions…#God. What do I do #Anyway back to the subject at hand #I finished Season 2. And I am in pieces #Somehow it doesn’t hurt as much because I’ve seen the episode many times so I already know what happens #But then comments saying that they could’ve pulled the plug on the show right then and that would’ve been how it ended got to me #Not that they should have. spent the whole day at an archery competition yesterday!!! twas really fun and i got slightly better :3 i also spent the whole day with long sleeves till it was my turn. it did not prevent the sunburns. i have a stripe pattern on my left arm now (caused by my arm protection)

#yes i forgot sunscreen. i also forgot to take a spoon to eat my pasta salad.#to be fair i didn’t forget anything that i put on my list. but i did make the list at past 11pm while completely tired #and with the knowledge i’d have to wake up at 5am #also there was barely any sun or warmth for the entire morning. i was nearly cold actually #when twas my turn in the afternoon the sun suddenly started to burn for an hour and i could feel it. and then it rained jdhdhjs #nothing like last week’s competition where we were drenched and kept waiting for 5min between each flight for slightly better conditions #(no lightning in the 5min span)#yesterday there was a lot of wind too which is more worrying than the rain #but i dealt really well with it and i’m proud of that!! i release my arrows really quickly usually but!!!#i took my time to find the best window between the blasts of wind. we have two minutes for a flight of three arrows and it feels so so long #(because really. it *is* very very long. the longest 2min of my life are when i wait for my turn)#but i really help to know that i am able to fly my arrows fast enough. so i know i can calmly wait for 20 seconds and still finish on time #anyway i had fun!!!!!!! i socialised the whole day!!!!!!!! with good people!!!!!!!!!!#and i got some advice which is always valuable

thank you!! i am definitely very happy about it!

#it’s actually kind of a big deal for my family #because me and my twin both graduated this year (honors top 5% the whole shebang)#and we’re both going to college so if we graduate from college as planned we’ll be the first women ( women is a loose term here) to #fully complete a college education!#i come from a long line of incredibly rural poor farmers on one side and on my moms side relatively recent immigration #enough to impact level of education and what not #my mom actually went to community college for nearly the full time but dropped out with a single math credit left to finish because she met #my dad😭😭#but anyway my twin is going to a very very prestigious university in the fall and i’m going about two hours away from her at a D1 state uni #so exciting things ahead!!#nice thing <3 #all this to say basically i’m a nerd and i love school so
