so i am a bit torn... this one that i made for benanti's birthday, and then this one i made because emotions, tend to tie for first repeatedly in my mind.

for support font, big fan of tw cen mt, avenir, north, and metropolis. for bigger font, i love lihataja is my fave script font, but i used qanoar for something recently and i love it.

24 - What is something that you’re wanting to learn right now?

i would love to learn rotoscope. i mostly just tend to download after effects, get mad, delete, repeat every other month. but it's so cool.

25 - What would you like to see others learn how to do?

hm... i don't know if there's anything i want people to learn to do. but i do hope to see more people use drop shadow or something like that to make typography stand out. sometimes the fonts get lost otherwise (like i neglected to do in this set and i still kick myself for it)

sooo haven't made any progress in calls fic in about a week BUT here is a snippet that i am 75% sure i haven't shared before

“You’re tired,” Buck murmurs softly and it’s not a question but Eddie answers anyway.

“Yeah, I–yeah.” He doesn't have to explain that it’s been one long day in a series of long days. Buck already knows and Eddie could keel over from the sheer relief of that.

Buck hums and it sounds amused though Eddie doesn’t know why. “I’ll let you go then.”

Don’t, Eddie thinks furiously. Don’t let me go. Please. Never let me go. Keep me. Just keep me and I’ll keep you. Let me stay. Let me be a vow, a promise, wholly unbroken and eternal. Put me in your pocket like your favorite trinket and never ever lose me.

The words beat around in his chest with bruising ferocity and crawl up into his throat with a fierce, bloody desperation that he hasn’t felt since he locked himself in a cage and convinced himself he could fix things with raw screams and clenched fists.

The shape of his painfully voiceless thoughts is tart and biting, clawing at the tip of his tongue, begging to leap past the rows of his teeth unimpeded, break into the world faster and sharper than bullet.

Would they feel like a bullet if Eddie let them out? Would they rip through the air and launch themselves into fragile, unblemished flesh? Would they force themselves inside of Buck with blinding, searing pain and carve new pathways inside of him?

Eddie is too much of a coward to find out.
