okay now that i’ve finished my general surgery rotation, lemme #decode some of these carlos post-op pics i’ve been seeing for the girlies 🤭

- someone had to shave his pubes for that lower trochar port…

- and multiple someones def saw his junk………….no comment

- he also would’ve looked so dumb intubated 🫶🏻 (just think of him with the snorkel like that one pic)

- i wonder if they used his bellybutton as a port or if they did an incision just above that…#justlaparoscopicthings (that shit would huuuuuuurt)

- this is def right after surgery, right after he woke up from the anesthesia, hence why he looks straight ZOOTED

- also note the shitty bed vs the next pic = just out of surgery

- he barely knew what was going on & probs fell asleep like 10 minutes later

- “i lived bitch” vibes and i love that for him

- he just got the news: he’s pregnant (look away, give him some privacy omfg) ((he thought he couldn’t have children))

- they really didn’t scrub the betadine off him huh 💀

- i love that they chose this moment to take the pic

- he looks so befuddled & absolutely lights-on-but-no-one’s-home

- this is probs the next day in rounds before he left the hospital lmao

- he’s in a hyperbaric chamber (it, like, forces oxygen into your tissues under pressure to theoretically help you heal faster) ((the use of it in a totally healthy person immediately post-op is pretty negligible—it’s better for people who have chronic wounds/ulcers))

- also he’a apparently watching band of brothers so we do know he has good taste

- rip to everyone on the outside tho that shit had to be BLARING 💀
