Before the moon was as big as the night sky, before gravity lost real meaning, before sleepless nights of insanity, there was a time when the moon was just a little bigger then normal. Grian squinted, turning his head back and forth. “I guess? I mean, Mumbo, are you sure you just aren’t seeing the moon for the first time, nerd?”
Mumbo made an indignant noise and elbowed Grian. “Rude.”
Grian giggled, putting his hands behind his head. “It’s not rude if it’s true. I bet you dream in redstone blueprints.”
Mumbo chuckled, focusing back on the moon. It really did look bigger then normal… or was he imagining things? He pushed it from his mind. If Grian wasn’t concerned, nor should he.
“Do you ever miss the seasons that came before?” Grian asked suddenly. Mumbo glanced sideways at him- he was still looking to the sky. “I mean, you’ve been around longer then I’ve had, been in more worlds. Do you ever miss your old homes, your old builds?”
Mumbo considered the question. “I suppose sometimes. But really, they’re just buildings at the end of the day. My friends are what make my home. No matter if it’s in a hobbit hole or a living structure or a van, for that matter.”
Grian chuckled in that far-off kind of way. “I think I miss it all too much. Each world was something special. Sometimes I remember Grumbot, you know.”
“Oh my goodness! Grumbot!” Mumbo sighed. “An absolutely abysmal mayoral partner, but such a sweet robot.”
Mumbo paused. “I bet he’s still happy in his haven world we built him. Still thinks I’m mayor.”
Grian shifted slightly where he lay. “I hope so.” He coughed awkwardly, changing the subject. “This is nice. It feels like it’s been go, go, go all the time this season. Not a bad busy, but busy.”
“Yeah.” Mumbo played with his hands- even when laying down he still had to move. “Busy. Boatem never sleeps, it seems.”
Grian hummed, eyes still on the sky. The two friends went quiet, listening to a few rockets off in the distance, and the faint echoes of music playing from Pearl’s megabase as she worked. It was the feeling of being alive that hummed in the very air, nostalgic even though it was happening in the present.
Everything was okay, right then. Everything was okay.

Hair Care Update/Body Care
[August 10, 2022]
I posted a while ago about my hair care.
I am now doing very well with my hair care, and I couldn’t be happier with it.
I use Sashapure shampoo and conditioner as well as on other days Hask Argan Oil shampoo and conditioner. I also use a hair masque once a week that’s by Sashapure.
Every two weeks I do a hot oil treatment, and I use a hair lotion before bed.
This routine has made my hair much softer, and stronger and I found out I have two curl patterns in my hair, so working on defining them more.
I can’t wait until my hair is at a length that I can cut it to the style I want.
I will continue this whole hair care routine even after my hair is longer as I will definitely need it.
I also plan on getting a sleep cap so that my hair is protected as I sleep as I move a lot in my sleep and years ago when I had long hair I would lay on it and it’s snag and sometime even break (yes, it snagged that hard).
A hair cap for sleeping will definitely be a necessity.
I’m becoming very high maintenance it seems.
My hair care has also triggered me to care more for my body.
After every shower I apply baby oil to my skin, and then before bed I use baby lotion.
My skin has become so soft!
I need to somewhere add facial care, as I used to do a lot of dermaplaning, and daily washes of my face, and moisturize.
Self care has become my therapy, and an escape from everything.
At least I do a lot of self care that I used to never do.
