ATLA! Play (Chain)

They're in what can only be a hyrule fare in the future. Very far in the future

Wild, Wind, and Time brought the chain to a play about their adventures.

It opens to a very bulky woman dressed up as wind, telescope in hand.

Legend is written to be happier and more energetic, his hair is pink the whole play though

Four is treated as reserved and cold, almost uncaring. And maybe he's reserved but he isn't uncaring not in real life

Sky is baby-girl-ified. You know exactly what I mean

Warriors is stripped down to his playboy personality, and played by a teenage girl.

Time is played by someone who screams TWINK, is completely blind in both eyes

Wild is actually pretty spot on, though they take his love of food a little to the extreme

Twilight is played by someone with a Midwest accent, also turns into a hyena instead of a wolf for some reason

There's a weird subplot where Warriors, Time, and Legend are all head over heels for the same person (they have a duel??)

Hyrule is played by a gerudo woman who yells "Sparkle healing!" When using the healing powers.

Basically imagine the worst ways to butcher the chain and their dynamics, they do it.

The most memorable scene is Dark Link's monolouge about how he's very sorry he's evil (he is not sorry)

Surprisingly, Legend thinks it's hilarious! He gets pictures with the cast and definitely shows Ravio

Wind also thinks it's great, though he did say they shouldn't have made a joke of food and Wild.

Time thinks it's probably all twisted around becuase it's been however many years.

Hyrule didn't understand the "Sparkle healing", but it seemed good-natured mostly.

Warriors and Twilight are not mad, but they wouldn't watch it again.

Wild and Four are probably the least impressed.

Sky is glad their story, even so misunderstood, can bring people joy.

There's also probably a music scene where they sing about their back stories. (Horrible butchered, of course)

In this scene, Hyrule was raised by a whole town

Twilight was found in a corn field somehow

Time grew up with twenty sisters somehow (all named Navi)

Legend and Wild were twin brothers

Four was raised by a family of ocelots.

Sky grew up scared of birds (tragic bird backstory)

Wild was a prince

Warriors was raised by Impa to conquer the battle field with love

It's certainly an event

No one recognizes the chain. At all.

Due to Legend’s voting post ending in a draw between being a Fire Bender and a Non-Bender from the Fire Nation, I flipped a coin and it landed on Non-Bender. Wooooo!!!

Background:

Being raised in the war torn Fire Nation, peace was a rare site to see. Raised by his uncle, his parents being causalities in the war, his uncle tried to give Legend the best life he could.

Unfortunately when Legend was eleven, he had to grow up quick after his uncle joined his parents as another casualty in the war.

Random Legend head cannons:

• Legend has so much experience with all kinds of spirits

• Neautal spirits, nature ones, the corrupted, the deceiving, good spirits, so many spirits

• Has traveled to the spirit so many times

• Could say that he’s the Link Between Worlds

• First time he got turned into a rabbit

• Once a pink rabbit, always a pink strand left behind

• Want it gone? Nope. It stays forever

• Try and cut it? Grows back even bolder

• Then he got cursed

• Reverse the curse

• Got cursed again

• This process repeated itself one too many times

• 100% not recommended

• Unless you want to be transformed into a rabbit and/or cursed

• Been cursed sooooooo many times

• He has lost count of how many times he’s been cursed/almost cursed/threatened to be cursed

• Is a Non-Bender and will not hesitate to beat any overconfident Bender’s ass to put them in their place

• Doesn’t mind benders, as long as they are not overconfident idiots with egos has big as the ocean

• Though is wary of fire benders due to the war, Yiga Clan members, and events of Koholint Island

• Legend had a top-knot (Fire Nation hairstyle, the little bun thing on top)

• After the events of Koholint Island, he cut it off

• He may be young but he can beat you up badly

• Has a friend who is absolutely opposite of him, Ravio, who he met in the Earth Kingdom after Ravio pulled Legend into one of his scams

• Refuses to wear Fire Nation symbols ever again

• But Fire Nation clothing he will, he got style

• Got the hat once he got to the Earth Kingdom, great for getting the sun out of his eyes

I had these notes in my drafts for a while but something in the main discord reminded me I had these so here are some notes and revisions I wrote down for my bioshock au <3

♡ The main story of the AU is a sort of retelling of the first 2 games( sorry Infinite Fans!) and not all of the chain had a place in the AU yet

♡ Warriors was just a random Big Sister, who lost their first Little Sister , Mask,during the Events of the Bioshock 1 Era. Wind is their second Little Sister and He's extremely protective of him to a fault. The main story of those two would is trying to escape and learning to trust again

♡ Time and Twilight wouls have taken the place of Delta and Eleanor in a way, With Time trying to rescue a kidnapped Twilight when he was younger but unfortunatly failing and not getting a chance to save him until years later

♡ Wild and Hyrule would have shared a role! They would have been the liberators of Rapture before leaving it and letting it fall back into ruin, I'm keeping their story twist a surprise incase I ever visit it later!

♡ I don't know WHY but I put Legend as Dr Tenenbaum and I think I had Ravio as Sinclair. Legend may have been because all the sacred maidens and sages he deals with would have been Little Sisters and if you know Bioshock 2 you know why Ravio is Sinclair.

♡ I never got around to giving Sky and Four roles, although I did debate giving Four Atlas's role

♡ I know I wanted to turn Hylia into Sofia Lamb and Sun would have been her daughter, but she eventually loses Sun and starts to go a little evil because of it.

A Card Exchange - a fic based off a challenge. Basically my oc Atlas is trying to live his best grumpy life and ends up helping Link out. Unknowingly becoming his friend. I will be adding more to this au as well!

The Legend of a Curious Boy - a fic/au where in a land sort of far away, a young man named Arche ends up learning about the heroes of other places and ends up in a quest by his princess to go find Link of Hyrule. He really didn't sign up for that.

I also plan on making fics for my other ocs! Just-eventually. I have about four aus that I am considering. A crossover. As well as ocs that need a little more work before they are shown anywhere. Since I don't really draw I prefer to wait longer on certain things.

I also have been thinking of maybe making my own sort of Links Meet AU! When and if they will happen is a great question. As I have been posting some stuff about it recently.

My LU/ATLA AU

Okay so I’ve seen several LU/ATLA crossovers going around but this is my brother and I’s take on it

This is an AU where the events and world of the LoZ are the same just with bending as part of the world

Basically my brother texted me this morning like WIND IS AN AIR BENDER and it spiraled from there

Light, dark, and shadow magic still exist cause this is Zelda

People can bend the elements and also have light, shadow, or dark magic on top of that

Every race can bend cause heck yeah, the Gorons are like the Earth Kingdom, Rito are like the Air Nomads, Zora are like the Water Tribes, Gerudo are like the Fire Nation (lightning bending, also how do they not die of heatstroke)

Note: I don’t mean they are “like” a nation as in their culture I mean as in their benders

The Hylians can kind of bend whatever, the gene pool is mixed but some settlements lean toward one element

The Shekiah are fire benders and the blue flame is an art only they know

All benders in Lorule bend the opposite element of benders in Hyrule

Sky- Air bender, not all of Skyloft were Air benders or anything but please I love air bender Sky

Four- Avatar but a really weird Avatar who can only bend all four elements when split

Like he can technically bend any element as Four but it’s much harder and weirder

Became Avatar after the Four Sword, didn’t realize it for an embarrassingly long time

Green is air, Red is fire, Blue is water, Vio is earth

Time: Earth bender, uses earth vision to compensate for the lack of vision due to his missing eye

Twilight- Water bender, can blood bend, please consider Mermaid Wolfie

Wild: Fire bender, lightning, blue flame (yes this is Shekiah Wild)

Mipha: water bender, healer

Daruk, non-bender (just an awesome Goron)

Revali: Air bender

Urbosa, fire bender, lightning bender

Wind: air bender, I know you think he’s a water bender but think about it, he uses air bending to guide his sails and breathe underwater, the Wind Waker helps focus his air bending

Tetra: Earth bender, metal bender

Warriors: Non-bender

Legend: Water bender, healer

Legend, bleeding from multiple wounds, sloppily healing himself with one hand: BOLD OF YOU TO ASSUME I CAN DIE

Marin: Airbender

Ravio: fire bender

Hyrule: Fire bender/ light magic

Hi, my name is Coll! I’m a 29 year old lady with a full time standard 9-5 job. That said, I have some free time on my hands. I’d really love some new RPs. =D I’m very friendly and willing to plot. I mostly roleplay video games and original plots.

A few things about me:

- I am looking for people who play in the third person and post multiple paragraphs in their responses. (Please give me at least 3 paragraphs and I’ll be happy with that. Anything less and I get put out and most likely will not respond back to you out of disappointment ^^; Sorry.) I will also match my partner’s response length.

- My hard limits are rape, vore, mpreg (good god no mpreg never ever mpreg), pedophilia, and a few others in between, but those are the big ones. If you ask for any of these four things, I will delete your post immediately. I don’t mind rape being mentioned in a backstory, but I won’t play it out. I’m not too keen on large age gaps unless we’re playing a supernatural creature with a human. They need to look about the same age.

- I don’t really care for unhealthy ships. I don’t like cheating or abuse in relationships–that sort of stuff. I’m not about that life. - I am a slash (both mxm and fxf) roleplayer. I will not tolerate seme/uke paradigms. You will play a switch or there will be no smut. There are only certain canon ships I’ll do mxf for. (like Lightning/adult!Hope or Tidus/Yuna for example.) I won’t do mxf for originals.

- I will only accept roleplayers who are 21+. If I find out you’re under my age limit, I’m going to delete you immediately.

- All kinks are based off of character preference, not my own. I’m also not really a kinky person. Sorry about that.

- I like canonxoc for certain canons. If I play a canon for you, I expect you to play one for me. Compromise! Some ships I will not do canonxoc for.

- I know this sounds like me being a hard ass, but I really like becoming friends with my partners and exchanging headcanons and songs!

- I roleplay through email only. No exceptions.

- I try to post every day. I really do. Sometimes, I’m just too tired to do so. ^^;;; Be patient with me.

- Once the roleplay gets off the ground, I have skype. You can ask for it–but only after intros are exchanged. Every time I’ve given someone my skype before we started, the roleplay never got off the ground.

Puella Magi Madoka Magica. I can play Kyoko, Homura, and Mami. I can also do originals in the PMMM setting, gender bends, or Puer Magi. (Magical Boys.) Seriously, my kingdom for a PMMM roleplay. I’m also not opposed to mixing canons and originals!

Original. Hit me up. Anything is good. If you want a something with a lot of smut, just let me know up front. I’m pretty flexible. I like steampunk, horror, creepypasta, victorian era, medieval/fantasy, modern/fantasy, would like to try cyber punk even. I’ll give anything a shot and I’m sure I have a character for it or at the very least, can make one. It must have fantasy, by the way. I’m also a big fan of supernatural beingxhuman, or two different races mingling with each others. The only thing I’ll outright say no to is slice of life unless it’s monsters/supernatural creatures trying to live among humans. I’ll only accept mxm and fxf for original lines. Please note, I DO NOT play vampires or werewolves. I don’t mind roleplaying with them, but I personally do not like playing them. Fire Emblem Awakening. I’ll die of happiness if you’d like to do m!tacticianxChrom. I’m looking for a Chrom. I can also play m!Morgan, Lucina, and a couple others. Let’s chat about it. I have a couple AU ideas, considering, well, you know how Fire Emblem is. There’s a war, let’s go fight the war!

Fire Emblem Fates. This, here, is what I’m craving the most. I’ve played all three paths, but prefer Conquest and Revelation. I want to play Corrin. (Male.) and am open to ships. (As long as they’re mxm and fxf.) I’m mostly looking for a Xander (!!! Boy, I want Xander the most. Xander/Corrin happens to be my otp.), Leo (!!), Takumi (!), Ryoma, Silas, or Kaze. I also ship Selena and Camilla. (I play Selena.) I like AUs and doubling, so I’m sure we can figure something out. I am also leokumi trash and can play either… though I’d rather do Corrin/Leo and Corrin/Takumi. I also like Sakura/Elise! (Slight preference toward Sakura.) I much prefer AUs and am willing to hash something out with you. No OCs for this. Sorry.

Persona. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to do a Persona or Persona based roleplay!. My favorite pairing for Persona is Yu/Souji/ProtagonistxYosuke. I play Yosuke. I am seriously craving another Yu/Yosuke roleplay like woah. We can discuss this. I also REALLY like the idea of the P3 Female Protagonist/MinakoxMitsuru. I’d be playing the female protagonist. We can also do a whole new Persona group, too.

I’d also like to do something with Black Butler. I’d like to play a male oc against Ciel If you play Ciel for me, I’ll play Elizabeth for you in a fxf line or I will also consider playing Sebastian for your oc, but I’m VERY picky on this because Sebastian is a vainglorious bastard who needs entertainment. So! Try me, just don’t say I didn’t warn you if I tell you no. I also have a demon, if you want to play a contractor in an all original variation. (Note: my demon will not be your character’s butler. He laughs at the very idea. He can change his gender, so he can be a she.) *Please note, that sebciel is a GIANT NOTP of mine, so don’t even ask for it.

Tales of. The first thing I’m looking for is a Sorey to my Mikleo. My kingdom for these two babies who are too pure for this world. The second thing I’m looking for a Richard to my Asbel and kinda have some vague ideas for this! I also roleplay Tales of cross overs and have a vague idea for that, too. I would also love a Gaius for my Wingul. Can discuss other Tales pairings, will be fine with ocs if you’ll afford me the same. I’ve played all of the Tales of games released in the US EXCEPT for Eternia and Vesperia. That doesn’t mean you can’t play these characters! I’m totally down for Asch/OC and will try and accommodate you as well.

The World Ends With You. I play Josh. Mostly looking for a Neku or whomever you want to throw at me. I’d prefer AUs (kind of have a basic idea for one) or post-game. Please, for the love of all things holy, do not play Neku as a weak willed little thing who won’t tell Josh to go eff himself if he doesn’t like what Josh is doing. We can also do a whole new Game with all ocs.

The Legend of Zelda. I’m looking for a Link and am looking to do a brand new Zelda roleplay where we split the cast and have fun times~! I have a male oc. There doesn’t need to be romance, but would like. I can play Ravio or Midna for one of your ocs, if you’d like.

Devil Survivor 2. I want to play the main character (Hibiki/Hiro/MC) against a Yamato LIKE BURNING Also, Shin Megami Tensei IV, I’d love a Flynn/Walter chaos route roleplay where I play Flynn.

Kingdom Hearts. I kind of want to do an all-original setting with new Keyblade wielders, new villains and everything. We’d each play a keyblade wielder or something and fill out the cast. If you’re not up for that, I do love SoraxRiku–I’ll be playing Sora. (I love this ship with my whole heart.)

Final Fantasy. I’m cool with most things here. Some characters I play are Lightning (my favorite), Cecil Harvey, Yuna, Cloud Strife, Kadaj, Vanille, Terra Branford, Garnet til Alexandros/Dagger, Bartz, Faris, Noel Kreiss, Ramza (Tactics), and some others here and there. Some of the ships I play are Lightning/adult!Hope (I play Lightning and have some au ideas for this), Zack/Cloud (I play Cloud), Tidus/Yuna (I play Yuna), Fang/Vanille (I play Vanille. I’ll also play Fang/Lightning), Zidane/Garnet, Cecil/Kain (Cecil) etc. There are others. I’ve played almost every Final Fantasy except the online ones, so just ask. There are a few canons I play that I’ll pair with ocs, like Noel Kreiss for example. This is probably the only place you’ll catch me for mxf. I would really love a Ramza for one of my ocs as well? Like I said, I’ll play certain canons for you, too! … or maybe just something with Final Fantasy Tactics in general.

Ammendum: I just started playing FFXV and would love to try out being Noctis–looking for Gladio, Ignis, or Prompto–or a mix of all four, I’ll play two and you play two, for one big ot4! I’m only one chapter 10 so please, no spoilers. My favorite ship is IgNoct if you want to do just one and one.

Bravely Default/Bravely Second. Ringabel/Edea, otp for life. I’d like to play Edea. Also willing to consider Tiz/Agnes (Tiz.) or Yew/Magnolia. (Magnolia.) Prefer an AU for this. I won’t do this genre without Ringabel/Edea, though, keep that in mind.

Pokemon. I have a male Elite Four trainer I’d like to use against any character. I have a couple other trainers here and there. Why not, bring it on. If you want romance, it has to be m/m for this. I don’t mind gijinkas or whatever they’re called. I also beat Sun/Moon! So we can do some Alola stuff! Maybe a plot with the Ultra Beasts? Neaaaat.

Ace Attorney. Okay, okay. I only do canon/oc for this one, fam. I’ve also only played the first three games and Ace Attorney Investigations. I’m looking for a Miles Edgeworth to my male oc and for you, I can play Franziska von Karma for fxf OR Phoenix Wright for mxf.

ATLA. I have a male earth bending oc (with a spirit pal who follows him) that I’ll do mxm with. I’m really up for anything here, except LoK verse since he doesn’t seem to fit in there so well. Canons? OCs? Sure, whatever. I’ll leave it open. You wanna test a new OC or practice a canon against him? Cool.

There are also a few fandoms that I play, but only with an oc cast such as: Dead Space, Gravity Rush, Fatal Frame, Etrian Odyssey, and Silent Hill. Note: for Silent Hill, I will NOT be playing romance.

As for Silent Hill… I’m up for putting canons in a Silent Hill verse as well as using originals.

The same goes for The Last of Us. Canons in a TLOU universe could be fun. Same with ocs.

Maybe something based on Transistor? Or YoKai Watch? Yomawari Night Alone? Hey, maybe some creepy Japanese horror with a haunted town in the vein of Yomawari?

Suggest! If it’s along the lines of what’s mentioned above, then by all means. Other fandoms are: Okami (Human form!Amaterasu), a 999/Zero Escape based roleplay, Demon Gaze, Dragon’s Crown, Animal Crossing (humanized villagers), and more. Seriously, just ask. Ask away. I know some older animes but video games? I most likely know it, especially if it’s an RPG. I’m also a fan of AUs.

fandoms and originals

A few things about me:

- I am looking for people who play in the third person and post multiple paragraphs in their responses. (Please give me at least 3 paragraphs and I'll be happy with that. Anything less and I get put out and most likely will not respond back to you out of disappointment ^^; Sorry.) I will also match my partner's response length.

- My hard limits are rape, vore, mpreg (good god no mpreg never ever mpreg), pedophilia, and a few others in between, but those are the big ones. If you ask for any of these four things, I will delete your post immediately. I don't mind rape being mentioned in a backstory, but I won't play it out. I'm not too keen on large age gaps unless we're playing a supernatural creature with a human. They need to look about the same age.

- I don't really care for unhealthy ships. I don't like cheating or abuse in relationships--that sort of stuff. I'm not about that life. - I am a slash (both mxm and fxf) roleplayer. I will not tolerate seme/uke paradigms. You will play a switch or there will be no smut. There are only certain canon ships I'll do mxf for. (like Lightning/adult!Hope or Tidus/Yuna for example.) I won't do mxf for originals.

- I will only accept roleplayers who are 21+. If I find out you're under my age limit, I'm going to delete you immediately.

- All kinks are based off of character preference, not my own. I'm also not really a kinky person. Sorry about that.

- I like canonxoc for certain canons. If I play a canon for you, I expect you to play one for me. Compromise! Some ships I will not do canonxoc for.

- I know this sounds like me being a hard ass, but I really like becoming friends with my partners and exchanging headcanons and songs!

- I roleplay through email only. No exceptions.

- I try to post every day. I really do. Sometimes, I'm just too tired to do so. ^^;;; Be patient with me.

- Once the roleplay gets off the ground, I have skype. You can ask for it--but only after intros are exchanged. Every time I've given someone my skype before we started, the roleplay never got off the ground.

Original. Hit me up. Anything is good. If you want a something with a lot of smut, just let me know up front. I'm pretty flexible. I like steampunk, horror, creepypasta, victorian era, medieval/fantasy, modern/fantasy, would like to try cyber punk even. I'll give anything a shot and I'm sure I have a character for it or at the very least, can make one. It must have fantasy, by the way. I’m also a big fan of supernatural beingxhuman, or two different races mingling with each others. The only thing I'll outright say no to is slice of life unless it's monsters/supernatural creatures trying to live among humans. I'll only accept mxm and fxf for original lines. Please note, I DO NOT play vampires or werewolves. I don't mind roleplaying with them, but I personally do not like playing them. If you want to do a plot that is vampire or werewolf based, you have to play those species. I'll also take random intros for original! Just tell me the genre you're sending me in the title or if you want platonic, mxm, or fxf!

Fire Emblem Fates. This, here, is what I'm craving the most. I've played all three paths, but prefer Conquest and Revelation. I want to play Corrin. (Male.) and am open to ships. (As long as they're mxm and fxf.) I'm mostly looking for a Xander (!!! Boy, I want Xander the most. Xander/Corrin happens to be my otp.), Leo (!!), Takumi (!), Ryoma, Silas, or Kaze. I also ship Selena and Camilla. (I play Selena.) I like AUs and doubling, so I'm sure we can figure something out. I am also leokumi trash and can play either... though I'd rather do Corrin/Leo and Corrin/Takumi. I also like Sakura/Elise! (Slight preference toward Sakura.) I much prefer AUs and am willing to hash something out with you. No OCs for this. Sorry.

I’d also like to do something with Black Butler. I'd like to play a male oc against Ciel If you play Ciel for me, I’ll play Elizabeth for you in a fxf line or I will also consider playing Sebastian for your oc, but I'm VERY picky on this because Sebastian is a vainglorious bastard who needs entertainment. So! Try me, just don't say I didn't warn you if I tell you no. I also have a demon, if you want to play a contractor in an all original variation. (Note: my demon will not be your character's butler. He laughs at the very idea. He can change his gender, so he can be a she.) *Please note, that sebciel is a GIANT NOTP of mine, so don't even ask for it.

Tales of. The first thing I'm looking for is a Sorey to my Mikleo. My kingdom for these two babies who are too pure for this world. The second thing I’m looking for a Richard to my Asbel and kinda have some vague ideas for this! I also roleplay Tales of cross overs and have a vague idea for that, too. I would also love a Gaius for my Wingul. Can discuss other Tales pairings, will be fine with ocs if you’ll afford me the same. I’ve played all of the Tales of games released in the US EXCEPT for Eternia and Vesperia. That doesn't mean you can't play these characters! I'm totally down for Asch/OC and will try and accommodate you as well.

The World Ends With You. I play Josh. Mostly looking for a Neku or whomever you want to throw at me. I'd prefer AUs (kind of have a basic idea for one) or post-game. Please, for the love of all things holy, do not play Neku as a weak willed little thing who won't tell Josh to go eff himself if he doesn't like what Josh is doing. We can also do a whole new Game with all ocs.

The Legend of Hilda: Oracle of Dimensions

An End to This

With the power of the Sovereign Rod restored, Atlas rushed over to put himself between the monster and his reflection; he wasn’t sure how badly he was hurt, but he could see him moving slightly, so that was at least encouraging. Still, Atlas couldn’t just leave him alone while Andrios and Vansa were still bearing down on them... So he stayed close, using the Sovereign Rod’s light magic to further wear down the twin-headed serpent.

As he fought, he realized that many of the snake’s magical attacks weren’t reaching him. A glance at his reflection showed that, through pain and exhaustion, he was creating a magical shield in front of the prince. After several moments, it would drop as the reflection ran out of energy, but it would return as soon as he caught his breath– each shield giving Atlas enough of an opportunity to land powerful strikes with the Sovereign Rod’s magic.

Still, nothing he did seemed like enough to truly end the fight. The twin heads simply kept coming back, likely drawing strength from one another before they were completely defeated. Atlas was starting to run out of ideas when Pavhalla called out from her crystal prison, shouting that the Sovereign Rod had another ability: that it could lock things away in another dimension.

The words rang in Atlas’ ears. He didn’t want to send something else to another world just for it to be a problem there; he couldn’t have that on his conscience twice. Who knows how much damage it would cause, how many people would be hurt, or lives destroyed? The unexpected reminder and the paralyzing guilt of it all caused Atlas to be struck by a stray orb of magic.

The Sovereign Rod was knocked out of his grip. As it flew through the air, the serpent’s tail slammed into Atlas, preventing him from retrieving it and continuing to use it against them. Both heads hissed with delight, only for it to turn back to frustration when they saw the reflection - their experimental hero - holding the legendary weapon instead. He was shaky on his feet, obviously still injured, but the magical flame still burned bright. The reflection’s eyes met Atlas’s from across the room, silently assuring him that he’d hold out for as long as he could, but to please hurry.

He began trying to get back to his reflection, leaping over and ducking under the furiously thrashing tail of the serpent. Breathlessly, he called back to Pavhalla, asking where exactly it would send them.

The oracle sounded confused, but she said that they didn’t necessarily go anywhere; they were going to a pocket dimension that wouldn’t have anyone there to harm. That… would have to be good enough, Atlas supposed. As the prince reclaimed the Sovereign Rod, his reflection changed tactics and used what magic he had left to hold it in place while Atlas tried to figure out how to open a portal.

It was just barely enough. The giant serpent broke free, lunging for Atlas and the Sovereign Rod just as a golden-edged portal, obscured by a muted rainbow, opened in front of him. The moment it was inside the pocket dimension, all of Vansa’s magic vanished and the oracles came rushing over to him. Urgent shouts to seal it were met with equally frantic cries of how? Klino didn’t hesitate for a second before directing Atlas to draw the Symbol of Will in the air with the Sovereign Rod. As he did, the portal closed, the symbol shining for a moment before fading away.

The five of them stood in silence, catching their breath and letting it sink in that the two villains were truly gone now. It was Atlas’ reflection who broke it, questioning if the seal would hold them forever. The oracles assured him that it would, but Atlas couldn’t quite bury the part of himself that insisted that maybe, just maybe... it wouldn’t.

As they left the Hall of Flames, the reflection commented that it didn’t feel right going by Ravio; after all, he was, but he wasn’t. He was just called that because it was who Lady Vansa and Curator Andrios wanted him to be. He asked Atlas what he thought he should be called instead, seeking the opinion of his more heroic counterpart. The prince thought for a moment, but then suggested he go by Arcanus. His reflection considered it, then smiled widely and said that he liked the sound of that.

Arcanus parted ways with them before they reached Proxa City. He figured that he’d been part of enough trouble in Periploxa, so he’d find his own way to somewhere new. Maybe do some exploring of his own. He wished the prince well, told him that Atlas was the real hero out of the two of them. Atlas… had his doubts about that, and they likely showed on his face, because Arcanus insisted, “You’ll see!” and then he was gone.

When they arrived – the oracles and Atlas – people were waiting for him in the city. Among the crowds of people celebrating the disappearance of the distortions was Diela, his long-missing guardian. She had survived the shipwreck, as it turned out, and had been trying to find him for so long, but the distortions had made it too dangerous to leave the remote town that she’d washed ashore in. Regardless, Atlas was overjoyed to see her, and soon began telling her about everything.

Except, of course, Arcanus. He got the feeling that she wouldn’t like the idea of someone with his face running around unchecked, but Atlas didn’t want anyone else trying to control his counterpart. Arcanus had had enough of that for one lifetime, he thought.

Eventually though, they had to return to Lorule. Clear skies and calm waters for the whole journey.

The Third Flame

There was a definite sense of urgency in the air as the oracles got each other up to speed. Klino had no idea who this “Vansa” was, and Mun hadn’t heard anything about what was going on in Periploxa. While they were talking, Atlas glanced over to his reflection, who had been silent ever since the Flame of Hope had been lit. A look of apprehension had taken over his reflection’s face, and he was casting nervous glances toward the entrance to Periploxa.

It was only then that it dawned on Atlas. He interrupted the oracles’ conversation, asking them who had been supposed to keep an eye on Curator Andrios?

There was hardly enough time for them to look between themselves in horror before the sound of a woman’s laughter began to ring throughout the chamber, accompanied by a surge of magic that blocked the path to Eidolodia. Lady Vansa and Curator Andrios entered the Hall of Flames together, sealing the path behind them. As the witch created three crystal prisons to confine the oracles, Andrios glared at Atlas and his reflection. He coldly stated that Vansa’s experiment had been a failure. It hadn’t done any of its tasks successfully.

Vansa waved off his disapproval. It was no loss to them. These heroes had restored the Sovereign Rod regardless, so their desired outcome was achieved; they simply needed to recover it, and then they could work on getting their little hero back in working order. She beckoned toward Atlas and his reflection, commanding her creation to bring the artifact to her.

The two simply glanced at each other, realizing simultaneously that Vansa and Andrios couldn’t tell them apart. Neither made any move to go toward her, and the witch’s confident smile disappeared. She demanded that they obey her once again, but when they both took a step away, she all but snarled at them. She called her creation an ungrateful wretch. It wouldn’t even exist without her! How could it turn its back on her now?

After a brief exchange, Vansa and Andrios concluded that if they did not have a vessel to use the Sovereign Rod on their behalf, they would have to claim it themselves. The personal cost would be high, of course, but their families would ensure they were taken care of. Their decision made, the two villains were slowly engulfed by dark, swirling magic, the black mass growing in size with each passing second. Soon, their voices turned into low hisses of pure rage, and their magic dissipated to reveal the massive two-headed snake that they had become.

The monster began to advance, going directly for the Sovereign Rod. Atlas and his reflection instantly jumped to defend themselves and the oracles, with weapons drawn and magic at the ready. The monster’s strategy seemed to be a combination of Andrios and Vansa’s strategies when the prince had first fought them; one head summoned the shades of monsters, while the other launched orbs of magic that needed to be either reflected back at it or avoided entirely. It was more difficult to contend with both of them at the same time, but the fact that Atlas had an ally fighting with him from the start was likewise a major help.

As Atlas tried using the Sovereign Rod, however, it was hard not to notice that it didn’t seem like it had the sort of power one would expect from a legendary weapon. He was able to conjure bolts of lightning with it, but that was all. Powerful ones, sure, but… something told him that wasn't all it should be able to do.

It wasn't until Atlas and his reflection began to form a fighting pattern that he figured it out– on the far side of the room, a brilliant purple flame had burst to life. That had to be what could fix the rod.

Atlas called to his reflection, asking him to keep the monster busy. The reflection obliged, doing his best to keep both heads’ attention while the prince retrieved the sacred stone that had been restored by the Flame of Order. As he raced to the third flame, which he would later know as the Flame of Unity, he noticed the small space in the bowl of the Sovereign Rod– perfectly sized for a small, reddish stone.

The magic of the Flame of Unity took some time to work, slowly fusing the sacred garnet to the staff. Atlas couldn’t leave it, so he could only watch as his reflection tried harder and harder to keep the monster’s attention, only for it to get increasingly close to failing every time. Not that Atlas blamed him. If the monster’s goal was the Sovereign Rod, there was only so much distraction it would fall for.

Just as the Sovereign Rod flashed with light, a magical golden flame bursting from its top, the snake’s tail slammed into the reflection. He was sent sprawling across the floor, having lost the monster’s attention entirely.
