I've gotten so burnt out by the lack of respect that some Vtubers/Content creators show to artists that I've decided to follow the "3 Clicks" rule:
"If within 3 clicks off their main platform I can't find the credit to the artist, then I'm never working for/with them." 😤😮💨

@koolaidashley I answered this question like 2 other times but my answers were gameplay based so. the STORY story is like. spoilers i guess fhsdjgfhsf
Your character is Beatrix LeBeau, a girl from Earth who has come to a planet called 'the far far range' to run a slime ranch. She is the kind of person who thrives on adventure and work and the outdoors.
Occasionally, you'll run into notes from the man who ran the ranch before you. He talks about each areas and how he felt about them/what he did there. He talks about his thirst for more adventure. He talks about love. and how his love for a fellow rancher conflicted with his need to see more of the universe.
Later in the game, he reveals he had the opportunity to step through an ancient portal to explore more of the universe as he wanted. But he didn't. He had two choices, the universe, or his love. and he chose love.
His story parallels Bea's. She has a friend on Earth named Casey. They send her letters every few days, and talk about stories from when Bea was on Earth. Casey is a singer in a band, and they are very different from Bea in the fact that Bea is very outdoorsy and Casey is not. Their thoughts of fun and life are very different. And they both would only be happy in life if they followed their dreams, which just so happen to be literally 1000 light years away from each other.
Bea exploring and working on a ranch light years away on another planet, and Casey still on Earth- the most they move around being to go on tour with their band. Casey is still and Bea is always moving.
In their later letters, it's revealed that Bea and Casey had romantic feelings for each other, but never admitted it.
here are their letters if you wanna read them-
After their last letter, Bea takes a day to reflect on it, her life, Casey and what she'll do from then on. And then the credits play. It's Casey singing a song they made for Bea called "1000 light years away" (performed by Chelsea Lee Greenwood), with beautiful visuals. We see Casey on Earth, with that little cactus they mentioned (it's still alive :,) ) and as the credits roll, we see through space and eventually get to the Far far range where Bea is standing on a ledge, looking up at the sky.
After the credits are done, Bea is back on the ranch, ready for another day of work...

dont normally post about drama but this seems relevant:
im seeing a lot of people jump to "james somerton was never good anyways" in retaliation for the hbomb expose, but there's a really fine line to tread there before you get into stepping on the toes of the people he stole from, you know?
some of his videos and analysis did seem genuinely intelligent, thoughtful, insightful, and well-written. yeah, it turns out those are the result of him stealing from other people. but that doesnt mean the original writers WEREN'T intelligent, thoughtful, insightful and good writers. he had plenty of garbage opinions interspersed throughout, but the reason many people (myself included) were suckered in by him is that the queer creators he stole from DID have really important and interesting analysis. the parts of his videos that were good were stolen, but by discounting his essays entirely we're throwing the baby out with the bathwater and insisting those he stole from didn't have anything important to say.
the parts he himself supplied were trash, but he stole the work of some genuinely brilliant and insightful writers and passed it off as his own- and that writing still exists and is still brilliant and insightful; we just know now who was actually responsible for it and who to thank for that work
lets just be careful when we smugly proclaim that we always hated everything he had to say- because a lot of the words we're discounting were never his to begin with, and the last thing those authors need is to have their work trash talked because it ended up in the mouth of someone dishonest

incredible how liberals when confronted with how the Chinese communist revolution doubled life expectancy will default to "actually is it even that important to live twenty years more?" and "i bet their condition was worse even if they lived longer" worstie do you think that a population who dies at 40 had a good life. look me in the eyes.

Percy: Hey Wise Girl, did you know that I have a YouTube Series? The Mysterious-
Annabeth: The Mysterious Disappearances of Percy Jackson, I’ve seen it
Percy: Really?
Annabeth: Yeah, you’ve got several, but we’ve all got one. I was Rockabye Runaway
Percy: All of us?
Annabeth: Yep
Percy:
Percy: So Nico-
Annabeth: His is “Nico Di Angelo: Boy Lost In Time or Dangerous Fraud?,” comes from a conspiracy channel called TimeTravelersRUs
Jason: What about-
Annabeth: Whatever Happened to the Grace Family by Famous Family Misfortune, they also have one on Piper called Piper McLean: American Darling or American Criminal?
Leo: Ooh, do I have one?
Annabeth: Yeah, yours is “The Boy Who Set His World On Fire: The True Story of Leo Valdez” by Baby Criminals Dot Com, they are convinced that you’ve committed serial arson
Percy: Hazel and Frank?
Annabeth: another TimeTravelersRUs vid called The Girl Made Of Diamonds and a video by someone called True Stories From Around The Globe called Canadian Terror: The Frank Zhang Story. They both spent the entire time mispronouncing their last names
Piper: Hey I think I remember someone asking about that at school-
Percy: WAIT IS THAT WHY SOMEONE ASKED IF I WAS IN A CULT LAST WEEK?!
Leo: Hey someone asked you that too? Nice!
Frank: *sighs* I’ll talk to Chiron
Nico: How did you even let these things get on YouTube anyways?
Annabeth: In my defense, we aren’t even allowed to use technology
Hazel: I’m still confused on what a YouTube is

why did i just see someone using my ideas in their post without giving me credit, whilst having their likes public where MY original post can be seen, liked by the person who is then using my ideas in their post w/o giving credit 😭😭
this is confusing to type out, but, they pretty much left their likes public and liked my post, then decided to write about it using my ideas which were mentioned in my post that they have publicly liked...
you can see that they have seen my post and liked it, and then decided to write about it stealing my ideas to incorporate in their post 😬😮💨
