Day 1 of 5 day workout week:
Rainy, rainy Monday! ⛈️ But, I did get the pup out for a quick walk before it really started pouring! This Fall gloomy, breezy weather feels nostalgic and comfy. Fall is truly my bag. 🍁🍂
Later, I put in some major work at my home gym! After a 15 minute warmup on the elliptical, I kicked in 40 minutes of cardio kickboxing w/full gloves and some jumprope training! Finished up with 15 minutes of strength training. I’m feeling accomplished! Not a bad way to kick off the week! 💪🏽🥊

my guys I’m telling you if you’re the type that wanna punch yourself/the wall/others when you’re angry/sad/overwhelmed please try boxing or kickboxing if you can. It feels so fucking good to go punch pads/people for an hour. I’ll be feeling some type of way all day and I go to the gym and I just fucking let go. I get to hit and be hit and when I get home I am so zenned the fuck out. And you don’t even have to spar you can just go to pad work classes or find somewhere/someone who has a bag. It’s positively impacted my mental health and confidence so fucking much. It helps me fucking eat more because it’s such an intense workout. I’m telling you. Ok that’s all rant over.

I used the FightClub app for this mornings workout.
Pure strength, all bodyweight, no cardio.
Just right for today.
This app isn't just for jabs and kicks. It has a variety of different training styles.
Strength and conditioning alongside boxing/kickboxing themed ones.
They have a lot of punch bag sessions, but you have to pay for those. It's a shame I can't use them, but I won't be paying for anything in terms of my home workouts.
Good session to start my Saturday.
