Examples of Va'ruun Matriarchy weaponry -

The two blades - one physical, one energy based - are not necessarily needed for close combat, thanks to Va'ruun physiology providing them with quite lethal natural weapons.

However, they are used anyway, because to the Va'ruun, the use of one's claws and tail and teeth in combat is seen as uncouth. The energy blade uses gravitic and magnetic fields to hold in place a blade of energy similar to that produced by particle beam weaponry, shaped to allow for cutting and slicing attacks. The physical blade has been sharpened to near mono-molecular levels, allowing it to cut through virtually all known armor, including starship hulls (rumors that AC Navy boarding teams carry such a blade as an emergency boarding access tool are groundless for a variety of reasons, but persist nonetheless).

The two ranged weapons are both particle beam weapons of extremely advanced make, direct holdovers from their creators. Extremely lightweight and nearly always fitted with advanced scopes and/or remote neuro-ocular interfaces, the weapons possess only a few downsides - namely a short, but notable recalibration cycle after each shot that lowers their rate of fire compared to more conventional weaponry, and a near black-box level of manufacturing opacity that renders their production, and their upkeep, economically unviable outside the Va'ruun Matriarchy.

Originally, these ranged weapons could be configured to fire from "annihilator packs", which used a still poorly-studied phenomenon to inflict a debilitating, wasting effect over a small area of impact. This effect can somehow propagate into organic matter, turning it to carbonized dust in a slow and painful manner, earning the weapons their infamous nicknames of "Gorgon" and "Basilisk".

The Va'ruun Matriarchy has, in conjunction with most governments in settled space, banned the use of "annihilator packs". All data related to the effect and construction of such power packs is sealed in the Centauri Accords Archive in a deep-crust bunker under the Astral Confederation capital city, along with any other technology deemed unacceptable for use in warfare. Most extant examples have been altered to prevent annihilator packs from being used.

However, despite this near-total ban, annihilator packs still occasionally can be found on the grey and black markets, and sometimes see use among particularly unscrupulous agents of the Hunter's Guild.

The rare legal packs are in the direct possession of the Va'ruun Matriarchy's Royal Guard, or else consigned to the collection of specific individuals/collective entities registered with the Confederation. Each of these individuals has applied for, and been granted, a permit for their use in historical education, and is allowed one annihilator pack. All are implanted with tracking devices and tamper sensors, to detect any attempt to steal or disassemble them. When the registered owner dies, the packs are confiscated, as they are considered property of the Astral Confederation, until such time as another individual applies for a permit.

oh yeah here's another one of the papyri I made

His name is Astral (named after Astralverse aka the Multiverse/Roleplay Server he comes from), and he's forever cursed with immortality so he can't die even if he tried

when you meet him you're destined to die within 1 day - 8 months because he's a lonely fuck (unless you're also immortal)

He originated from a roleplay I joined that involved OG Papyrus (more like a lot of roleplays actually)

He lost his forearm from Stitch!Error

He lost his eyesocket from Murder!Sans (not really roleplayed but it's implied since the eyepatch he has comes from Dusttale Undyne)

He got the 2 bandaids from his adopted son (Asy!Sans)

The Jacket and Skull Crack are just aesthetics I added

He got the glitches from jumping into the core

Sometimes he wears Glasses because his eyesight is shitty

absolutely?? i have really good technique from my years of long nail living (my nails are super thin so when i keep them long they have to be painted constantly or they break), i know how to use sponges and liquid latex, and i have an ok hand for freehanding stuff so if you wanted designs i'd do my damnedest! i also have an ok array of colors and especially sparkly shit so if you're about that then i got you

24. if we were together on a rooftop, what would we be doing?

drinking (i will bring terrible stuff but also something respectable...you will probably bring something insanely better than whatever my respectable option is though too so we will have options lmao) and skipping around from oc/fiction stuff to Stupid Philosophy to fun gossip about people the other person has never met. extremely hope this will include a world-building rant because i think staring at the sky listening to astralverse stuff would be amazing.

So, Meteora reaches a stage where she become a big monster, Globgor says that this will help her to change her size, and it's more like puberty. She is 14, Astral is 6. Meteora was sad for hurting some people with her huge body. So she disappeared and cried. Astral found her comforted her.

Well, I’d start with @wicked-akuma ’s Vesta! She is super adorable, to be honest, and I really like her design. She’s a mixture of her moms, which translates into PERFECT DESIGN.

Then we have Orbfina, by @eternalmeteorshowerverse. Ok, y'all should know at this point that I’m a sucker for Rasticore x Meteora kids. Plus, this little adorable sweetheart has the diamond cheek marks, just like my own kid!

Pallid Soul, the owner of the screenshots, is an alter of Astralverse Networks/ BraveScorpion24, the mod who was demoted. I've interacted with them in CSTM before. It's not a "friend" of theirs posting, it is an alter. I feel like it's probably not wise to have literal proof everywhere of their identity, also being the only one who could have access to these chats in the first place. I don't think their account will be up much longer on CS for affiliating with this blog and leaks or whatever.

Mutuals, the brainworms have taken over again, and I'm back at it again at Krispy Kreme with worldbuilding for my original sci-fi universe, tentatively titled the Astralverse.

I'm thinking about ship design philosophy and societies at the moment.

However, I wish to get some input from others, namely in regards to aliens. A few more alien species are needed to fill out the roster.

So, to you all, I say, let us experiment! The aliens in the Astralverse tend to follow the pattern of "physically similar to a species from pop culture, with societal elements from another pop culture species, and then put in a food processor" (e.g. the Va'ruun being Xenomorphs that are in some ways like Asari, but physically mostly like Xenomorphs).

If you can think of any ideas, reblog or reply with your ideas!

Ideas on other interplanetary governments would also be be fun to hear! Flag ideas too!
