it's very convenient to carry some of my besties around with me in my head at all times (ocs) but it is also very inconvenient that their presence in my life depends 100% on my ability to conjure them to mind. real people are harder to make plans with but it is very nice just to be able to plonk down on someone's couch and have them be present regardless of my imaginative powers at the moment
