just an appreciation post for the set itself. my GOD have they outdone themselves this time

#vip is not super my brand of humor but i was so thrilled when we first saw the set bc it all fits together SO nicely #and this. this tops it by EONS #goddd. so much i could say. where do i even START #the color scheme is so gorgeous. the depth of the green and the accents and the lighting.........#and how all of it is warm-toned in suuuuch a masterful way #all the little items scattered around the set.......#the book bindings and the layout and the furniture design...........#it all creates this really wonderful balence of being busy but not overwhelming #like instead of drawing attention away for themselves #every little piece is precisely chosen to elevate the whole of the composition #it's. incredible. the artistry of it #and the close-ups themselves...... kudos to whoever shot those because my GODDD are they perfect #truly an otherworldly level of cohesive #just. mwah. mwah. sublime #aspen tag #dropout.tv #dropout #dropout tv #smartypants

So, with NaNoWriMo in full swing, and unfortunately having already seen some examples of this, I just want to say:

If you see a Tumblr post by a disabled person talking about their disability, and they aren't specifically posting it as a prompt or writing resource, do not reblog it with tags like #whump inspo or start talking about your OCs. That is so, so fucking inappropriate and weird.

It's one thing to write about disabled characters, but it's not okay to take a post by a real person about their own experiences and make it about your OCs. Just don't.

hi aspen!! i think the better question is HOW ARE YOU!? i'm not as strong a zukka-fandom member these days, but i still dabble and love our cross-over. more generally (why tf am i writing this like a fucking report i never learned how to talk like a human), i'm working waaay too much irl (like 28+ hour work week on top of school which is too much for my chronic pain/chronically fatigued ass) BUT i like the job and i'm still not writing my fics much, but i'm in a creative writing class that i love so far, so overall i'm kicking names and taking ass 🤪
