I like to head cannon that sometimes white Works a little bit too much to the point his siblings have to force him to rest.
Might as well be canon! There's no way he wouldn't suffer from such exhaustion with the heroic lifestyle he leads. At least some of his siblings are mostly competent. (the visual image of White lying face-down in the bathtub is so funny to me. like hes fine in there but he looks like a roach)
"White! Come make lunch with me!!"
"Big Bro, come check this out!"
"White!! I want yakiniku for dinner!!"
White! White! White! White!
Is what he overheard from outside the walls of his room.
Really! He never caught a break. For the past few days White had been wrapped up in a mountain of business reports and the like regarding some incident in Ground Zero. As if the incident itself wasn't enough - some kind of stressful accident that was quickly quelled - he still had to deal with the mountains of incident reports and the like that came afterwards.
Shouldn't this be the job of the police?
Of course, he asked in vain. The police do half the work.
If White truly had to do absolutely everything, he might just keel over.
Truly.
White slammed his pen down on the table.
As if he doesn't already do everything!
He stood up-
And felt his vision blur for a moment.
When was the last time he'd actually slept?
Sure, bombermen need less sleep than organics overall, but...
They still need sleep.
White realizes by now that he's been standing in place for a while, but he doesn't move.
As far as he's concerned, he hasn't slept since the day of the mission.
So...about 3 days?
He's just hindering himself at this point! Bombermen need sleep to make room for new data. He needs that new data space to get the work done faster, but if he sleeps, he'll miss some of the deadlines on the paperwork.
Such a dilemma.
Welp, time to fetch the coffee chips-
(Knock, Knock)
"What is it?" White finds himself asking with a little too much force.
The door slides open, and Pink is on the other side
"We were wondering where you were-" She pauses.
"Hey, White? You doing alright?"
White blinked.
His battery was on full charge, but he desperately needed to clear out his memory so he could focus.
A body is useless without it's mind.
And apparently the two are intertwined, as Pink could visibly see his exhaustion after just a slight glance.
"I'm......"
White sighs.
"So exhausted, to be honest."
"Yeah. I haven't seen you take a break once this week!"
White sighed and relaxed his eyes.
"White? What's got you stressed like that?"
"Some paperwork and junk."
"Oh yeahhh. Now that I think of it, Red did use a lot of bombs back then, huh..."
White audibly sighed again.
Yeah. That's why he has mandatory training this week.
Supervised by White, of course.
Of course.
Another thing for him to do.
"Y'know, I can fill it out for you."
"It's legal junk," White mumbles, mind immediately relaxing into mush the moment the mere idea of a break was brought up.
"Actually, no. I will fill it out for you, because you kinda look like a mess right now."
She's a little blunt with it, but she's not wrong. White watches as Pink marches towards his desk, picking up the pen and getting to work on the pile of paperwork.
"Sorry for hogging your room, by the way." She doesn't break focus, and does her job with ease. Truly the work of a person who has their shit together.
"Whuhbjmbg," White says something before he leaves.
Relax.
His siblings don't really bother him all that much as he walks throughout the house- he makes his way to the washroom and before long he has himself a relaxing bath.
It's not a bad place to wind down. Especially since Pink's busy with his room at the moment. Better than the couch, at least...especially since Blue's not gonna share his favorite napping spot.
The water is like his sore body a blessing to a peasant, and he turns the spout off as the water approaches the top of the bathtub.
Jesus christ...someone actually helped me.
White feels his thoughts slow.
It would be irresponsible to resist this relaxation; the kind that he rarely gets.
And, being a robotic lifeform, he won't exactly drown if his head is submerged in water, so there's no harm in falling asleep in the bath the way Blue used to do. Hell, he might understand why Blue always did that now.
And understand Blue he did.

Purple Falcon character sheet: Paple
(WARNING: SPOILERS FOR BOMBERMAN 64 AND BOMBERMAN JETTERZ)
Name:Paple
Real name: Abigail Stopstick
Age:19
Occupation: thief and vigilante
Goal: still as many powerful and magical artifacts She can find before Sirius does.
Bio:Abigail used to be an ordinary girl who used to work at a fast food restaurant. However, she got fired for putting a little prank on one of the workers. As she was searching for a new job a voice call to her saying that she has been chosen to be one of the Omi-Shard holders and was asked if she wanted to join. Not having this excitement before in her life she enthusiastically replied with yes. The voice then told her his name: Altair. they both do introductions and went off to their journey to find these shards. But first, she needs a group. Hearing this, Altair leads her to the jetterz Museum where the bomberman creation machine and the two other selected Shard Holders are. They both exchange their names including their team names: The Orange Boars and The Green Spiders. Altair then explains the groups that they have right now were dead bomber men who have been revived thanks to their ghostly Pals or acquaintances as he calls them. He then asked who Abby wants to revive? After thinking for a little while Abigail finally chooses to revive the bomber shitennou since they haven't lived long enough to appreciate life. The reason why she knows about these bombers is because she actually watched all the encounters white(jetter) had with them. After finding the Charaboms transferring back to who used to be these bombermen she finally has her group and decides to call her group The Purple Falcons since she's a really fan of the Majestic Falcons call and she also likes the color purple. After they have found all of the Omi-shards and applied them to each group member/ leader they work as thieves and vigilantes feeling from the rich and giving to the poor while also stealing some powerful and magical artifacts first before the wrong person steals it.
Trivia:
1 when she is not stealing or going on missions she is performing on stage as Strawbeat or living her own life as a regular human.
2 Abigail likes sukuyaki
3 Abigail loves the ocean and likes to go swimming with mermaid bomber at the beach in order to see the fishes .
4 Abigail it's also pretty skeptical when it comes to working with other thieves. in fact, it was this one time where she left a thief alone during a cave-in because she didn't trust that said Thief. After that day she still regrets it.
5 she keeps a log book about her daily missions inside of one of the vehicles the Shitennou and/or Paple have.
6 Paple is so afraid of Max that whenever she sees a Max unit she won't immediately lead the others to the opposite direction. You see, she actually saw the final battle between white and Max during their confrontation. And she realized how ruthless Max can be when he's out of control. She is still terrified of him til this day.
7 Paple also has the secret pet cat called Skiddles. She is a gray cat with darker gray stripes.
8 the falcons can fly with their capes(kinda similar to the sky children in sky children lf light)

imagine being mujoe and that one violently mentally ill guy with weapons of mass destruction gets replaced by his 10 year old little brother who you used as a hostage that one time. who is also learning how to make weapons of mass destruction. and also has issues. and everyone is fine with this.
and then you accidentally become a father of four in the process of trying to match the firepower lent by an apparently innately OP species, and THEN those four enter a blood feud with the 10-year-old, and THEN he kills most of them except for your oldest son who dies separately as a result of having an incredibly messy relationship with both you and your asshole coworker
at a point you really start wondering if the outsider view of bombermen assumes them to be capable combatants first and regular living beings second as a result of their busted-ass abilities so it doesn't as readily occur to people to ask "hey, isn't this kind of fucked up?" but that is still not nearly enough of an excuse. this is mujoe

How do Bombermen and Humen um... erm... Produce offspring? Pretty told me, so i'd talk to Crybid but Mario somehow appeared and said "There are children here", so i've came here to tell you that... question...
"Hmm... You do not need to add the latter part of the question... It is redundant..."
After that, the lightning mastermind focused on the main question as he rubbed his chin with his right hand. His metal claws crawled out and straightened his antenna gently and slowly
"I have talked to a human about this topic... And this one is sensitive... To me and to the human I have talked to..."
The mastermind stated as he leaned his back on his special designed chair before continuing his reply to the question
"And we concluded that... The only way a bomberman and human can produce offspring... Is to manually build another bomberman... They also need to inherit their personality along with their ability into the new bomberman's system, which is their new child, to develop them..."
Lightning finished his reply then he brought his attention to the one who questioned
"You are lucky that my young assistant was being outside spying on someone when you asked this... Or else I wouldn't reply to this..."

@ask-bomberman | continued from here
Vic Viper patiently waited for someone to answer the door, becoming slightly red in the face while thinking about seeimg White again. Then he had noticed the door open, and was confused as to who opened it.
“H-Hello? White? Can I c-come in? I heard something happened t-to you.”
He slowly pushed open the door, not knowing what to expect. Then when he saw someone he thought was White he froze, unsure of what to do with seeing who he assumed to be his like-like friend turned into a girl. “Uh, h-hello. Y-You look nice t-today.”

When it comes to love, Midnight always closed her heart, as she never felt there was a need to pursue romance. When she took a particular interest in a human or another species, she held no person attachment to them. However, it was eons ago where Midnight has come across Planet Bomber as she felt there was a source of power there—believing it was a power stone, but she only seen strange creatures there called Bombermen. There was one that she have came across that gave off a large scale of powerful readings and he didn't look like he could have much power. This made the Professor curious, and she asked him if she could study him. His name was Mighty.
At first her investment was solely just professional interest, but the latter continued to invade personal space and forces his way into learning about her. She found him annoying, but eventually, she grew a soft spot for him. Eventually, it open doors in her heart that she knew what that feeling was: love. She tried to ignore those feelings, but the more she invested in him, the more her feelings grew.
Midnight never knew if Mighty's actions were solely of kindness and concern or if those feelings were mutual—neither of them once spoke or confront those feelings. After his disappearance, Midnight held a lot of regrets. Whether if the warmth in her chest and the affections she felt were a confirmation to be described as love. Instead, she closes the doors of her heart once more and moved on.

Now here was a face he hadn’t seen in quite a while. Once upon a time, when Wario was a fairly different man with greed for land and minions as well as gold, he one day happened upon a portal to Planet Bomber. Seeking to claim the domain as his own, the nefarious doppelganger went to work constructing a cloning machine and making multiple copies of himself-- an Army of Warios with their sights set on the peaceful planet and bombs held high, poised to invade! An explosive battle raged across the landscape of the alien planet. One Wario was trouble enough! Two? A dozen? Several dozen? That seemed outright impossible to handle! But there was a catch with that cloning machine, as there was with all the heel’s hand-built inventions... All those duplicate Warios were defects! Drones that were downgrades of the original! Such was the price of being half-baked and valuing quantity over quality. At first it appeared the invaders had the upper hand, but over time the Bombermen and other inhabitants of Planet Bomber banded together and blew to smithereens the band of bandits, in the end flushing Wario out of their land for good! But as said, that was quite a while ago, and Wario here wasn’t much a hardcore grudge-holder any longer. “Hey! It’s Boogerman! Did you come here to blow my beautiful city up?!” It appeared he was serious at first, but a rather hard yet reassuring slap upon the shoulder said otherwise. “Sike! I’m just messin’ with ya!” Evil eye. “But if you did I’d bash you into the next dimension!”

you know, now that i think about it, i can't recall any times pets are shown on planet bomber? which makes sense given that they seem to have more of a mutualistic cohabitation thing with louies as another sapient species so the concept of actual pet ownership might be foreign to them, but also this means that bombermen probably have to be introduced to what cats and dogs are when they go offplanet, and i'm willing to bet they don't always get the distinctions right at first
what i'm saying is that mighty would go up to the rest of the team cradling a disgruntled coyote in both arms and worriedly ask if they need to put up "dog found" posters

There isn't much else to say about Biidamen other than what I said before. Biidamen look like your average Bombermen, they can come in all shapes, sizes, and appearances, but the major differences between Biidamen and Bombermen is, as I said before, they have a marbles in place of a belt buckle, and they can even fire these marbles that can create explosions that vary in power, some of them can fire lasers from said marbles, and some can use their marbles to heal others should they be overtaken by darkness or some other influence, as well as some injuries; the other key difference is their inability to summon bombs. A few Biidamen also have the strange ability to pull large objects from out of nowhere, like a comically large hammer for instance. I can only assume they have their own pocket dimension as I highly doubt they can easily stuff large objects in their back pockets.
This universe also has their own White Bomber, but he prefers to go by Shirobon or Shiro, he's much younger, and maybe not as bright as the White Bomber we know, but the heart-of-gold is still there though.
Anything else you wish to know about this universe?
(I apologize for this ask being so long.)
As soon as the person starts expressing more about Biidameen, Phantom would loosen his dark-blue cloth and gently pulling out one of his digital devices (a smartphone to be exact) as he starts taking notes
Tumblr media
"Interesting, I'm surprised that you're willing to give me a lot of details"
Phantom is pleased, as he finishes noting everything before putting his device back in
"I'm wondering if there is a version of me in that world"
// It's all good! And hey, you pleased Phantom so that's a good thing!

Nintendo Switch Event
So I went to the Nintendo Switch event today and wanted to share some thoughts with my social media platforms, as has been requested by the afternoon’s gracious benefactors. I also wrote a much more in depth article for a friend’s website, so if you want to know more, I’ll be posting a link to that once it’s published. I’m also going to put the least terrible pictures into a Facebook album.
I apologize for the length, but I had a lot of thoughts. If you have any questions, please ask away!
The Console:
The Switch console is a bit tinier than I was expecting. The main unit is a little smaller than the average tablet, and the buttons and joysticks are also an adjustment. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing. The Joy-Cons by themselves are surprisingly solid, and can be used in a ton of different ways. They’re a little smaller than an NES controller and much more comfortable. I enjoyed a lot of the different styles of play we got to experience. Not all of them are for me, but the fact that they can be used this way is cool. The Pro Controller is a normal size, if you’d prefer a more conventional approach to playing video games. They can support an eight console network over Wi-Fi and it seems that one system can support many players through the use of Joy-Cons and other controllers.
Switching between TV and Handheld Mode is a little fiddly at first, but I’m sure one gets used to it. It’s hilarious seeing a message like “HDMI 1 – No Signal Detected” when you pull the thing out of the dock.
The controllers are shockingly expensive, but after experiencing the HD Rumble, I can absolutely see why. I felt a small plastic controller turn into a wooden box filled with marbles, and the cognitive dissonance was fantastic. I want to see developers do awesome things with this very badly.
I’m interested to see a few things about it, such as whether or not the consoles can connect with each other and some more in depth system specs.
 The Games:
Art and I played eight demos at the show. I’ll give some raw impressions based on the short amount of time I spent with each title.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild: ♥♥♥!!! This was the first game Art and I went for. Needless to say, twenty minutes isn’t enough time to digest this masterpiece, but rest assured, it’s a masterpiece. I’m glad I got a chance to try it out, and I think I need to watch that trailer a hundred or so more times.
Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers: It’s Street Fighter alright! As always, Arthur was better than me, but it runs incredibly smoothly on the Switch so I can’t blame my terrible performance on lag. I detected no latency whatsoever (I’m great at Smash, so there!), and if the pros also find it acceptable, I can see the Switch become the fighting console of choice within a few years.
Super Bomberman R: It’s Bomberman! It’s Bombermen! It’s not good! Sadly, 3D models do not suit this game, and visibility takes a big hit. It’s too bad, as I really do love the little pyros.
1-2-Switch: This is an excellent proof of concept. We were allowed to demo five minigames, all of them fun (quick draw, cow milking, marble guessing, katana catching, and ping pong). It’s a shame this isn’t a pack-in, as it seems to fill that role perfectly. To be honest, it reminded me more of party board games like Cranium than regular video games. Oh, and I got to try the HD Rumble here, which is everything I dreamed it would be and more. Seriously, my brain thought the plastic controller became a wooden box full of glass marbles thanks to uncanny haptic feedback. I can not rave about this enough.
ARMS: Meh. I’m sure this game has its audience, but it’s not me. It’s a spruced up version of Wii Boxing, and as much as I liked that game, there’s not much more you can add to the concept to justify making it a full-priced release. Maybe active children will like this, and I hope they do. All the reps loved it, so maybe I’m missing something.
Splatoon 2: I’m not sure this is a sequel instead of an upgrade, but I don’t care. I love Splatoon with all my heart and will happily buy it again. It’s a bit weird now that the right joystick is on the bottom now, but that’s ok, it’ll just take some getting used to. Oh, and the official guidelines say to mention that it’s a “Demo Version,” but I think that might just be for video content.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe: Same as Splatoon up there. This isn’t pretending to be a sequel, but it’s a damn good upgrade. It comes with all the paid DLC, some extra characters (two multicolored Inklings), extra stages, and a real battle mode. Even the rep showing this off was like, yep, this battle mode is a lot better now, which is not something we were expecting to hear. As always, I’m awesome in Kart battles, and I’m fairly sure the Splatoon arena was just lifted from the game.
Sonic Mania: I was fully expecting Zelda to be my favorite game at the show. And it almost was. In fact, I had gotten into a great conversation with a rep while Art played this one without me. But a seat opened up, I figured why the Hell not, sat down, completely ignored the rep who asked me to wait so she could show me how to play Sonic (I know how to play Sonic), and was instantly taken to the halcyon days of childhood where Nintendo and Sega were the fiercest of rivals and people legitimately thought blast processing was a thing. This game hits every single tiny little beat. It knows how to be a Sonic game. The pixelated expressions on the sprites. The physics. The speed. The music. Everything was RIGHT about this game. If you’ve ever loved Sonic the Hedgehog, make a real attempt at trying this one, even if it’s not on the Switch (it’s also coming out for PS4, XBONE, and PC). I’m not a nostalgic kind of guy, but no amount of shame could stop me from squealing like a child every fifteen seconds or so (or from taking an extra turn while the rep wasn’t looking).
Honorable Mentions:
The following games were present, but we didn’t try them: Snipperclips – Cut it out Together!, FAST RMX, Just Dance 2017, Skylanders Imaginators, Has Been Heroes, Disgaea 5 Complete, Puyo Puyo Tetris.
 The Event:
This event was the single best of its kind that I’ve ever been to. Compared to the lukewarm presentation the night before, this really got my mind running in circles imagining how the Switch was going to do this and that. Every single official I spoke with was knowledgeable and friendly, and everyone seemed really excited to be there. They invited exactly the right number of people for the space they had, and had exactly the right amount of stations with exactly the right amount of games. No guest had to wait more than ten minutes to play any game, including the twenty minute Breath of the Wild demo. Some games even had their own special areas. Zelda had astroturf floors and plastic ivy covered tables. 1-2-Switch had funky outfits and glass booths that let players listen to the audio cues while providing endless entertainment to onlookers. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe was set up like a diner, complete with napkin dispensers and Switch branded ketchup bottles.
It was also the right amount of time, as I think any guest could have played each of the fifteen demos in the three and a half hours we were allowed. Art and I played eight, mainly because we were enjoying the conversations with the workers. We also might have played a few too many rounds of Mario Kart.
Whoever put this together deserves a hefty raise. I hope they’re able to put together more events like this in the future.
I happened to be lucky enough to be invited by Nintendo, but the general public will be welcome in cities around the world to experience events just like this one. If you’re in the New York area, you can check it out this Sunday, and other cities have their own days and times. http://www.nintendo.com/switch/events/
I’m looking forward to this system, and I hope that Nintendo can build more hype for it, as I think they’ve got something really special going on here.
