No one ever did, but as much as I do appreciate you asking, there’s VERY little I want to say on this, as it would be a BIG spoiler to @ask-sonata-dusk and the planned ending to it. So sorry, I can’t give you a straight answer 😅

It's going to be hard to defend the Dazzlings. A long time ago, they tried to take over Equestria while also feeding on the negativity of ponies. They were then banished by the Pillars of Equestria. THis means that you're going to be defending villains. They might even try to take over Equestria as soon as they return, Trixie.

What sexualities do you think the Dazzlings' are?

i honestly have no idea. i think anyone's headcanon for this is valid.

it really could go a lot of ways. they're clearly based off of sirens aka evil mermaids so they could just be pansexual/omnisexual/chill with whatever, based off who's in front of them.

but if we're talking about them choosing a romantic partner? i think whoever they would actually want to be with would need to be of high status and very respected by them, personally. but i also find it really hard to believe that creatures of their nature would see anything around them on an equal level to themselves, especially in the human world.

my view on the Dazzlings is that their nature is not as human as people would like to think. in my mind they're more like malicious creatures that were manifested by some kind of higher power to punish and/or test the world around them in the form of pony-mermaid deities. i mean, their appearance is pretty similar to the windigos so i imagine wherever the sirens came from has gotta be similar to where the windigos came from. so speaking on the sexuality of something like that feels moot since it could literally be anything, everything, or nothing

they could either be that or sea-ponies who were corrupted by something but since their gems are literally infused into their bodies seemingly naturally i would be more inclined to say they weren't born as "normal creatures".

that doesn't stop me from playing with the idea of them being sexual or romantic beings though. i just have no concrete idea for what they would prefer. that being said in fanon it's malleable to whatever you want.

Another question!! (Two Part question to be precise) 1. Who is your favorite Dazzling? And 2. If the Dazzlings ever did reform, which of the Mane 7 do you think they would be close with? (out of curiousty)

oo! sonata!!! 💙🎼🌮 and hmm 🤔... I feel like all of them but especially adagio could get really close with sunset considering they have similar pasts and adagio specifically 'cause they both have struggled/struggles with anger management, then I feel like aria would be close with applejack (i have literally no reason for that, just feels like they'd get along after a while) and I'd love for sonata to be close with flutters & pinkie, they could celebrate taco tuesdays together haha 🌮💙 (or is it thursdays?!?! in the dub it's tuesdays at least 🤭💙💛)

also don't know why but kinda like the idea of aria and rarity being friends too 💜💚

And I'm going to stop you right there because you are OBJECTIVELY WRONG. Adagio MAY be the leader, but Aria is the one that's the best, she's level headed and asks the right question's about Adigio's plan, her voice MAY not be the most noticable one but she doesn't NEED to stand out to be the fuckin best of the dazzlings.

Now that we have cleared up your WRONG opinion, the other's messaged back.

Earth and Lunar both agreed upon Sonata which isn't the CORRECT answers, she's both their favorites.

And Sun isn't exactly a fan of the dazzlings, he had to look them up which...ya fair me and Solar are usually the one to watch MLP not him and said Adagio based on looks and ONE SONG ALONE so he doesn't have enough to base his opinion on currently.

And....Solar didn't answer...that's weird maybe he's busy...he usually answers me tho...

EQG Ask Blogs that I would like to do, but probably won’t:

Well, I already have a @ask-sonata-dusk blog, but it’s very inactive. There were times that I thought about revamping the story, but I don’t know yet.

And I had a EQG next generation blog, but I deleted it due to the lack of interest (regret it now, but I digress).

A SciFlash (Sci-Twi x Flash Sentry) ask blog - SciFlash is my OTP for the series as a whole. I guess the reasons for me wanting to have a ask blog for them is because of Ask Sonata Dusk and I wanted to spread it around, in hopes of people maybe taking interest in it, since the ship itself barely gets any love (and no, I’m not talking about Princess Twilight x Flash Sentry). Unfortunately though, I think that’s the very reason why the blog will fail, because of the lack of interest in the ship itself.

A JuniperFlower ask blog - A ask blog about Juniper x Wallflower would be fun. However, again, I think it will only be a setup for failure because people seem to dislike the two anyways, so why would people want to see the ship?

A Vignette x Gloriosa ask blog - Another rare ship that I would like to explore, but again, I feel like there won’t be much interest.

And now, a ✨SciPieSet✨ blog. Now this one I have a lot more confidence in because of these reasons! I’m seriously thinking about it, but I’m not sure yet. Maybe if enough people show interest, I’ll try it out! And if I do try it out, maybe I can hint at the above pairs?

Keep in mind though that I understand that regardless of what I do, I won’t get as much amount of attention as I want because the show is over. if I decide to make any of these blogs, I have to seriously think about why I created it. Did I created for popularity or for fun? And if it’s the former, I’m probably not gonna have as much luck with it as I want to.

But I’m asking for you guys opinion. What do you think? Which blog will you be more interested in?

Hi. I think it’s time guys...

Yeah, you heard me right.

I think I’m closing down Western Magical Girl confessions, for good this time...

Why do I finally come to this decision?

Well, one reason is that I’ve ran this blog for a very long time, and I think I’m finally ready to move on to other things.

I think western magical girl shows are starting to become a rarity this day in age. Shows like Lolirock, Equestria Girls, She Ra, Star vs., Winx Club, The Owl House etc. are over. There’s not much hype for western magical girl series (or magical girl series in general) like it used to be. The only real popular western magical girl series that’s still airing is Miraculous Ladybug, in which that leads to my other reason.

I’m slowly starting to lose interest in Miraculous Ladybug also. I’ve pretty much got all the satisfaction that I could get out of the show at this point. Yes, I’ll probably still do some headcanons, AUs, shipping memes, writing prompts etc. from the series, but I’m basically done with the canon.

Also...I think that I personally just want to try to detach myself from this blog. I have...life goals. Life goals that I want to really start making for myself. I want to prioritize a lot more things in my life that’s OUTSIDE of the internet.

Also, I have 5 other blogs. Keeping up with them too is a little...tedious now, especially ones that are becoming ghost blogs as time goes on.

So for all of these reasons, I think I’m ready to say goodbye to this part of my life...soon.

That’s right, “Soon”, as in...not right at this moment.

I want to do these things first before finally moving on.

I want to at least finish all of the confessions in the box, so I’ll be closing the submissions box and inbox for confessions and headcanons. So that means any confessions or headcanons that are send at this point will automatically be DELETED.

After I do, I will close them for about a week or two.

I’m going to make a poll, asking for your opinions on this. Maybe even more than 1.

After I get the final results of that poll (or polls), I might temporarily open confessions back up for about a week (or maybe even a month, I don’t know yet), to give everyone a chance to confess anything that they want. Then I’ll reclose confessions and do those confessions.

After that, I will most likely close western magical girl confession...for good.

But you know? Who knows??? I MIGHT change my mind. I MIGHT wait until Miraculous Ladybug season 5 is over. However, to be honest though? I hope not.

Sorry guys, I really am. No offense, but...it’s just I KNOW that I’m week😂 I might just decide to keep this blog up for a little while longer, but I’m not making any promises. I want to be done with this blog. Will that happen or not is all due in time.

I want to appreciate everyone who has send a confession in the past! I really appreciate it and I’m going to miss you all ^^ I’ll be on my other blogs for now on, so if you're interested, just find me at the blogs that I’ll list below. Thank you for all the good years in the fandoms and all the good times! I wish you all the best of luck in your futures. I’ll never forget the fun I had running this blog...

SO, for those who don't know me, I am the Mod of this blog as well as a couple of others.(Askqueendaybreaker, Askmidnightderpy, a couple of pokeask blogs etc, etc )

Now, I basically stopped doing tumblr/my blogs for about a little over year. The reason i stopped is because of few things, but it sum it up: I had too many blogs, wasn't really happy with myself/the way i was doing them, and wasn't proud of my work.

since then, I’ve been working on my flaws and that fact that can’t truly please everyone and even myself at times, and that I need to take things at my own pace.

now one of the reason that I'm doing this again, is that, I truly did miss interacting with people on here. it’s always interesting to see how characters react to each other and seeing a story in motion.

now that being said, Im only going to keep a few of my ask blogs.

only those I truly want to either have really fun of/a story I want to make of.

I will keep some characters from my other blogs, but those guys will be moved to my Mod blog, where if you really want to interact, you can do so there. as well as future character’s/AU I do make.
