I love the cast of djats but I can’t with this narrative that they constantly try to sell of mutual respect between daisy and camila as if:
1. daisy didn’t kiss billy after meeting his wife and kid (and after being very well treated by the said wife)
2. then tried to make him leave them (not once, but TWICE) and in one of these moments they weren’t away from everyone in a studio, but in billy’s family house where anyone could walk on them (and this came after she saw camila and billy with their family and basically went i want what she has) and
3. later jumped on billy on the first opportunity, with only the knowledge that his marriage was on crisis, not that camila left him.
just because they didn’t fought or called each other names, doesn’t mean that there was love and respect from one character to another.
so yeah I think daisy had a lot of affection for camila, but in her actions she didn’t respect her. so can they stop pretending that the show wrote this beautiful relationship between two women, when what happened was that they made something that was already bad in the book, worse.

I think respecting trans people comes with a territory of like... just because many people will pass as cis doesn't mean that it's a great idea to use their passing as a way of legitimizing how absurd transphobia is
Transphobia isn't absurd because I "look like a [cis] man," it's because transphobia is fucking ridiculous. It would be ridiculous whether or not I passed or whether I look like a "conventional man." I use myself as an example, but ultimately, passing or appearing normative should never play into whether or not transphobia is bad.

One of the earliest examples of Leo’s “I’ll do my own thing to accomplish our goal without discussing it with my team first” is in episode one. It’s super, super quick, and ultimately inconsequential, but it subtly sets up a great precedent that I think is very interesting.
When the boys need to grab the medallion from Splinter without Splinter noticing, Raph, Mikey, and Donnie huddle together with Raph taking the lead in trying to devise a plan to get the mystic device. Meanwhile, Leo slinks away and grabs the device by clocking the situation (by knowing his father well enough to predict his actions - something he does with each family member multiple times in the series) and making a move on his own.
It works out perfectly fine, and is ultimately the best move, and it’s honestly okay that he didn’t consult everyone for something so small when it’s such a non issue to get it, but it nicely sets up how this tends to go in the series, including how it goes in the movie.
To be honest episode one is actually really good at setting up a lot of things for each character in the long run, this is just one example that caught my attention, as small and unassuming as it is.

Guys, I have one piece of advice for you that will seriously improve your time on simblr: If you love someone's story, let them know. Leave a comment, send an ask, whatever. Do it on anon if you're scared. And don't worry about coming off as unhinged. Honestly, the more details and rambling you put in, the better. There is literally nothing that makes an artist feel better than having someone tell them that they love their work.
So if someone's latest story post made you cry, tell them! Or if their edit gave you chills, tell them!!! And let me tell you a secret. Nothing motivates people to work on their stories more than knowing that other people love them and want to see more.
Nothing feels better than seeing someone answer your ask or reply to your comment, and seeing how happy they are. Trust me on this. It feels amazing. You'll make their day, and make your own day better too. And maybe, just maybe, you'll be the push they need to open their game and work on the next post.
Oh, and if you want them to love you forever, include details! Say what specific lines made you feel so strongly, or offer theories on what's going to happen next. Tell them who your favorite character is, or what antagonist is making your teeth grind. Storytellers put so much effort into their posts and their writing, and having someone pick up on the details is so immensely gratifying.

Buck and Eddie in a secret relationship being so insatiable that every member of the firefam has caught them separately and promised not to tell the others…
Buck and Eddie realising their secret relationship is not so secret but finding it hilarious that no one has worked out everyone knows and just deciding to wait it out and see who realises (or breaks) first.
