Matthew 9:35-38 (AMP). “Jesus went throughout all the cities and villages [in Galilee], teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the good news (gospel) of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness [His words and His works reflecting His Messiahship]. When He saw the crowds, He was moved with compassion and pity for them, because they were dispirited and distressed, like sheep without a shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is [indeed] plentiful, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.”
Matthew 6:9-13 (AMP). “Pray, then, in this way: ‘Our Father, who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. ‘Your kingdom come, Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. ‘Give us this day our daily bread. ‘And forgive us our debts, as we have forgiven our debtors [letting go of both the wrong and the resentment]. ‘And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. [For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.]’”
“Lord, Teach Us to Pray” By In Touch ministries:
“Keep talking to the Lord—He always welcomes you, just as you are.”
“When it comes to prayer, there are two common pitfalls to be aware of. First, when it’s unclear what to pray, some people choose not to pray at all. And second, many believers settle into a lifeless form of praying that leaves them feeling hollow and disconnected from God. Both situations lead to discontentment and frustration.
As Christians, we know that we should pray, even if doing so seems daunting. But far more than any sense of obligation we may feel, it’s wise to recognize that God intended prayer as a blessing for His children: Communing with Him is a fundamental way of experiencing His fullness. We have much to gain by praying—including peace, comfort, wisdom, and God’s very presence. So it would be tragic to give up on trying.
And remember, when we communicate with God, there’s no measuring stick or scorecard. A fumbling yet heartfelt attempt pleases Him far more than a well-worded litany that lacks sincerity. And keep in mind that formal prayers—such as the one Jesus taught His disciples (Matthew 6:9-13)—can help us find a path back into the practice when we’re lost.
Start with the Lord’s Prayer today and return to it as often as needed. You may eventually find your own words flowing freely as a result. But if not, don’t give up. Just keep talking to the Lord.”

"Angela," by Jason Christopher Hackwith (2023 Remaster) / DRM-Free MP3 256
Tumblr media
For all those who struggle daily with pain, for those who bravely fight that dragon cancer, for anyone who has ever screamed at a God who seems at times uncaring and distant: I understand and I don’t have all the answers, either. But I know Someone who does.
For the upcoming release of the river Beautiful, we have remastered the 2004 recording of Angela, by Jason Christopher Hackwith. As with all of our music downloads, this is DRM-FREE in high quality MP3 256 format.
I was overwhelmed with a story that filled my mind so completely I couldn’t think about anything else. It was the story of a young woman dying of cancer and struggling with her faith. How she condemned God for all of the pain and nausea and sleepless nights. How He met her where she was, and changed everything; not by taking the cancer away, but by giving her His unyielding, perfect strength even in her weakness. How indescribable Peace transformed her life. How that Peace changed the life of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her, and at the end of her life she saw the Father waiting for her with open arms.
I didn’t know her. Until then, I had never met anyone named Angela who was dying of cancer. But I knew it was a true story. And I wrote as fast as I could to get it down. Fifteen minutes later, I was left with something I can’t explain and can’t really take credit for.
If you are an Angela, or if you know someone who is, it is my prayer that this finds you where you are. We’d love to pray for you.

Tracing the Kovalevs family lineage reveals a rich history rooted in the art of blacksmithing, originating from Eastern Prussia (Poland). As the family journeyed through Poland to the Kuma River region in Eastern Ukraine, they encountered a series of cultural and linguistic shifts, transforming their name from Kowalski to Kovalev. This journey wasn't merely a geographical shift but a profound narrative of cultural adaptation and resilience. Each member, including notable figures like Artem Kovalev, played a part in shaping Russian history. Their story, starting near Nordenburg and evolving through Russia, mirrors the broader tapestry of geopolitical shifts and the enduring spirit of the people. https://bigstarbio.com/kovalevs-family-journey-from-prussia-poland-to-eastern-ukraine-and-russia/

2022 Rostelecom Finals entry #5
Junior men free program
Vladislav Dikidzhi
Thoughts: first time I noticed that his shoulder muscles are also very pretty. Not Ilya level pretty but still it’s something.
Artem Kovalev
Thoughts: He’s so tall. It makes it easy to pick him out, even off the ice.
Junior pairs short program
Storublevtseva/Gritsaienko
Thoughts: unison has improved a little. There was that bobble right after the death spiral. But a usual program killer for me, any sort of variation in the death spiral position. They had that, and I find that I don’t hate it as much.
Rodionova/Karpov
Thoughts: something that usually makes me like a program right off the bat is ending in a lift. We had a lift finish here but, it didn’t bring me joy
Shegay/Shamshurov
Thoughts: They tried so hard to keep that death spiral alive. And that green color looks amazing on Maya. That move where she flipped off Igor’s shoulder though, yikes. She did not look secure at all.

Media Workout Notes & Photos: Light Heavyweight King Artur Beterbiev Readies for London Showdown Against Anthony Yarde

Beterbiev vs. Yarde goes down SATURDAY (3:30 p.m. ET/12:30 p.m. PT) at OVO Arena Wembley LIVE & EXCLUSIVELY on ESPN+
LONDON— King Artur is ready to light up London.
WBC/IBF/WBO light heavyweight world champion Artur Beterbiev (18-0, 18 KOs), boxing's only world champion with a 100 percent knockout rate, will battle England's big-punching Anthony Yarde (23-2, 22 KOs) on Saturday evening at OVO Arena Wembley. Beterbiev-Yarde and undercard bouts will stream live and exclusively in the U.S. on ESPN+ at 3:30 p.m. ET/12:30 p.m. PT.
Beterbiev returns to London for the first time since he represented Russia at the 2012 Olympics. He lost a close decision to Oleksandr Usyk in the quarterfinals of the heavyweight bracket, which concluded his amateur career. Beterbiev has resided in Montreal for more than a decade and fought his first eight pro bouts in Canada. He captured the IBF title in 2017, claimed the WBC crown in 2019 with a thrilling knockout over Oleksandr Gvozdyk, and added the WBO strap last June with a second-round bludgeoning of Joe Smith Jr.
Yarde does not have Beterbiev's amateur pedigree, but he holds a claim as one of boxing's pound-for-pound fiercest punchers. He has won his last three bouts, including a 2021 fourth-round knockout over Lyndon Arthur, who toppled Yarde by split decision in 2020. Yarde fought for a world title once before, succumbing via an 11th-round knockout to Sergey Kovalev after nearly stopping Kovalev in the eighth round. This is what the main event combatants had to say following Wednesday's media workout. Artur Beterbiev "I had a good camp. I had good sparring. I will try to do my best." "My team and I always try to be ready for anything, any strategy." "I can't compare {Yarde} to Joe Smith. It's a different fight. Joe Smith had a belt at that time. It's not comparable." On a potential Dmitry Bivol fight "Right now, it's Saturday night. I only think about Saturday night." Anthony Yarde "If you look at what he's accomplished so far, it's amazing, and that's what amps me up. So, again, I beat him, I deserve some respect." "I don't look at what any other fighter has done {to him}. I don't look at what he's done to other fighters. Realistically, all you look at is style, but even that, you can't take too much from. You only know once you step in there with a person, and you both shape up and you both start trading leather." "He's never been in a situation where he's lost. But for me, it's all about me. That's the way I am. That's the way I operate. It's about me and my legacy. He's just the person with the belts." On the home crowd advantage "I just feel like this one feels right. This one feels better. {The Sergey Kovalev fight} didn't. All that matters is when we get in that ring. Everything that's said before is all he said, she said possibilities and things like that. When we get in the ring, that's when we'll see." Subscribe to Top Rank’s YouTube Channel for fight week highlights and exclusive interviews.

Let’s Talk Dancing with the Stars Blog Post #4
Since The Bachelorette has stopped premiering and both girls seem to have found their happy ending (Gabby with Erich & Rachael with her own self love), I have decided to talk to you guys about another great show…
Dancing with the Stars!
I am such a huge fan of this show, and I was so excited when I found out former Bachelorette Gabby Windey was going to be on this upcoming season. So let me give you the rundown on how Dancing with the Stars works if you haven't watched it yet.
Dancing with the Stars consists of 15 professional dancers and 15 celebrity dancers. The show first premiered on ABC in 2005 and has been a huge hit for 30 seasons now. Out of these professional dancers, some of them come in brand new and some dancers have been there since the show started! Each week, the dancing duos get assigned a specific category of dance (ex: Ramba, Quick step) and follow the theme night that happens every week as well.
This season I want to follow along with you guys and keep you updated on the great dances that these pro/celebrity duos create together! This season consists of:
-Gabby Windey dancing with professional Val Chmerkovskiy
-Charli D’Amelio dancing with professional Mark Ballas
-Heidi D’Amelio dancing with professional Artem Chigvintsev
-Wayne Brady dancing with professional Witney Carson
-Jordin Sparks dancing with professional Brandon Armstrong
-Joseph Baena dancing with professional Daniella Karagach
-Selma Blair dancing with professional Sasha Farber
-Sam Champion dancing with professional Cheryl Burke
-Jessie James Decker dancing with professional Alan Berston
-Trevor Donovan dancing with professional Emma Slater
-Daniel Durant dancing with professional Britt Stewart
-Teresa Giudice dancing with professional Pasha Kovalev
-Vinny Guadagnino dancing with professional Koko Iwasaki
-Cheryl Ladd dancing with professional Louis Van Amstel
-Jason Lewis dancing with professional Peta Murgatroyd
-Shangela dancing with professional Gleb Savchenko
The first episode started with a lot of energy and fun in the ballroom. Host Tyra Banks has been on the show since Season 29 with co-host Alfonso Ribeiro who is a former actor and winner of Season 19 of DWTS. Tyra is the main host on the dance floor while Alfonso is up top of the ballroom with the dancers while they collect their scores from the judges.
Judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tomioli, Derek Hough, and head judge Len Goodman are returning judges from past seasons. Carrie Ann Inaba is a Dancer and Choreographer, and Bruno Tomioli is a Film, Music Video, and Theatre Choreographer. Derek Hough is an Emmy winning Choreographer and Six-Time DWTS Champion ,while head judge Len Goodman is a Professional Ballroom Judge. Along with the 0-10 numbers each judge can give, the viewers also have their say in voting to control the ending elimination. Season 31 is now streaming for the first time this year on Disney+.
On premiere week we got to learn the background of all of the celebrity dancers that were featured on this new season. The premiers theme was focused on the celebrities favorite party song to get down to.
Our girl Gabby Windey with partner Val danced the jive to her favorite song “As it Was” by Harry Styles. They ended with the third highest score of 28/40. Not too bad for week one as the judges score everyone pretty low on night one. Linked below will be their jive from night one.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JsWg8clCqGc
Tik Tok star Charli D’Amelio ended the night in first place after dancing the Cha-Cha with partner Mark Ballas. They danced to “Savage” by Megan Thee Stallion and ended with the top score of the night at 32/40. I will link Charli’s night one winning dance down below!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PyV3kZaduwk
In second place was celebrity Actor and Multiple Emmy Award-winning and Grammy Award- nominated Wayne Brady. They received the first “8” of the night from judge Bruno Tomioli! Wayne Brady and partner Witney Carson danced a Cha-Cha to “She’s A Bad Mama Jama” by Carl Carlton. The total judges scored a total of 29/40. Linked down below will be the duo's awesome Cha-Cha!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8aDRcNTJi4k
After all 15 couples do their dance and get scored, the show ends with a couple going home on night one. The judges were super tight with scoring on night one with most judges handing out “5’s” for most couples. This was a very low scoring night for most couples! Star Jason Lewis, who is well-known for his role in “Sex and the City” was the first celebrity star who was kicked off the show!
Tune in next week so we can recap week 2 of Dancing with the Stars together!

Boredom Can Be Okay
Boredom Can Be Okay
Photo by Artem Kovalev on Unsplash If you are looking for a riveting interview, read Daniel Silliman’s conversation with Kevin Gary in Christianity Today. The subject? Boredom. Boredom isn’t all bad. As a parent of two kids, I worry that they aren’t bored enough. Too many easy distractions are at hand, too much entertainment is far too available, and technology, wondrous thing that it is, can…

Do you believe? Most individuals I get to work with fall into a category of “non-believers”. They don’t seem to believe in themselves or their true potential. If they only knew the limitations they put on themselves through these limiting beliefs. Indeed, almost all of them don’t realize that the only thing that holds them back in life is the “non-belief” system they have inside. Sure, it might start with someone saying something negative about you or a situation where you might feel like you have failed at something. But you are the one that finally bought into that limiting belief and in turn made it very real. Then you keep that self-imposed limit in your life, forever holding you back. Just because someone said something or you didn’t get the results you expected does not mean it is true that you don’t have unlimited potential or you should buy into the idea or belief that will hold you captive all your life. Limiting your possibilities. Everyone alive serves a purpose. We are all capable of amazing feats. There is something about you that makes you amazing and special. You just have to believe it to allow your true potential to come out. Don’t buy into the catabolic and negative responses to you from your environment. Believe in yourself. See the possibilities you are capable of. Know that you do serve a special and yet important purpose being alive. Believe in yourself. Live up to your potential… -Coach Mike EDIT your GOALS Every Day Internal Thoughts Guarantees Our Absolute Life Situations #believe #purpose #potential #limitless #confidence Background Picture by Artem Kovalev https://www.instagram.com/p/Cgg5NxvOxep/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
