Thank you! I'm very proud of myself and loved the feeling of vulnerability and relief and achievement when it was finally done so I'm probably addicted and will hopefully, finally, be able to chase down that feeling on the rest of my WIPs 😅🥰

"Uhhh, what is that you're holding?" Katara frowned at the object Zuko was gingerly clutching.

"A flower," he answered shortly, avoiding eye contact.

"A..." Katara frowned, stepping closer to try and examine what he held. "Are you sure? It... looks..."

"It's made of glass."

"Oh!" Katara's eyebrows shot up. "Can I see it?"

"No."

She huffed a laugh at the shortness of his answer.

"No?"

"It's a gift for someone," he side-eyed her. "Why are you here, anyway?"

"I'm waiting for someone."

"Here?" Zuko frowned.

"Yes, I have a date," Katara smiled, blushing prettily. "A blind date, actually. One of Suki's Kyoshi Warrior friends set us up. Actually, can you go somewhere else with your glass flower? The guy I'm waiting on is late, but maybe he's here and doesn't know I'm who he's meeting because you're here."

"Oh, for...." Zuko cursed, his head dropping back while he breathed out a small puff of steam.

Katara flinched when he extended his arm in her direction, offering her the glass flower.

"You just said this was a gift," she scoffed, though she took it anyway to examine the fine blown glass petals, admiring the rich colours infused within.

"It's a gift for the girl I'm meeting. For a blind date. Setup by Ty Lee," Zuko scowled, his eyes back on her, waiting for her to get it.

"You... you're who I'm...? Oh, for crying out loud," Katara started to laugh. "They set us up?"

"Evidently."

"I bet they're nearby, giggling about it too," Katara complained. "We both need better friends."

Zuko didn't say anything, only scowled deeper.

"Well... shall we?" Katara waved an indicative hand to the cafe across the street where the date was supposed to take place.

"They're already inside," Zuko shook his head. "I just saw a flash of one of them. They'll be watching."

"So? Do you not want to have tea with me?" Katara smirked since they’d never even considered dating in all the times they’d known each other.

"You want to go on a date with me?" Zuko frowned, his voice full of sneer.

"Well.... I mean, I'm already dressed," she waved to the nice dress she wore.

Zuko's eyes dropped down, trailing over her slowly.

"You look nice," he conceded quietly, his cheeks turning a bit pink.

"So do you," Katara smiled. "We could... what if instead of tea, we had dinner? I know a place a few blocks away where our friends won't be spying and laughing, if you still want to see the date through."

"Aren't you supposed to go on dates to get to know people?" Zuko frowned. "It's why I hate them. Getting to know someone over tea in a noisy shop is stupid."

Katara started to laugh at his disgruntled expression, reaching to ruffle his combed hair out of its attempted style because it looked ridiculous.

"Good thing you already know me then, isn't it?" She teased, giving a little tug to the front of his shirt as she started to turn, planning to lead his to the restaurant. "Come on. Let's get dinner, and you can tell me why you brought a glass flower instead of a real one."

Zuko pouted, but after a few seconds, he followed her, easily falling into step beside her, the two of them walking close enough that their shoulders occasionally bumped.

"Real one always wilt," he confessed quietly when they were seated at the restaurant. "I get nervous and my hands heat up and then live flowers wilt and go soggy. But uncle says you have to bring flowers on dates.... it's stupid."

He reached, trying to take the pretty glass flower back but Katara moved it out of reach, instead sliding her free hand into his and giving it a gentle squeeze.

"It's not stupid," she said softly when Zuko's eyes dropped to their entwined hands. "It's a clever solution. And besides, real flowers only last a few days... a week if you're lucky. This one will last forever."

She smiled, admiring it happily as her cheeks turned pink.

"I think it's nicer to give something with permanence," she murmured. "The point of dating is to find love, after all, and I would think it should be a goal in the search for love to find one that will be permanent."

When she looked up, Zuko was staring at her intently, his cheeks a soft pink and his eyes guarded as though he was waiting for the punchline. Katara only smiled and set the flower gently on her lap before reaching for the menu without releasing Zuko's hand.

"Should we get some tea?" She checked. "Oh, they have so many options! Iroh would spend days here sampling them all. Look!"

Katara slid her chair quickly around the table, slotting herself in close beside Zuko rather than remaining across from him, pointing at the tea list on the menu excitedly. Distracted as she was, she didn't see the guarded gleam in Zuko's gaze melt away into something soft and impossibly fond before he leaned in closer, silently believing dates were definitely nicer if you already knew you loved the person you were meeting.

You've been running around these last few weeks, maybe because you've been trying to work through some stuff.

Stirring your coffee, while sitting deep in thought, remembering where it all started, in this little shop, you found love, like you've never known before. After that day in the middle of the street, with the snowflakes falling, so much has happened...

From spending Christmas together with both your families, at one long table, with your parents and his parents, your brother and his girlfriend Ruby, meeting Eileen, Sam's wife, who's now your best friend, you two just clicked, due too te fact that you have learned sign language all those years ago while traveling through Europe. Giving out presents and just having a blast. It weren't weird or awkward it just felt right, like it was meant to be.

Summer came and your love grew deeper and deeper, you know eachother so well, so very well, talking for hours and laughing. There were sometimes when the job got to Dean, and he would just withdraw from everything, even you a little but you would just be there waiting patiently, untill he would start opening up, and you'll just listen, he would lay his head on your lap and you'll just run your fingers through his hair!

Smile tugging at your lips now, remembering that one night, the first time you two became one, skin against skin, laying in bed, his fingers tracing little circles on your tummy, when his fingers runs across the scar, on your ribs, following the tattoo you had there, the image consisted of leaves starting right by the scar, and on the leaves there was lady bugs, leading up to two lady bugs with there wings open leading to the word in cursive writing "free" he, got up a little, looking you in the eyes, mischievous smile at the corners of his mouth, its you he said, what you ask confusing on your face, your the best selling author "lady bug" aren't you he said, you nodded, bursting into laughter.

Biting your lip, thinking about the leaves starting to change colour, that's when it all happened. The knocking at your door, consisted and urgent, your heart sank, did something happen to the man that you love. Shakily turning the knob and opening the door, there he stands, worry on his face, the well known dent between his eyebrows, letting you know something is terrible wrong, his face hardened, I... I... He started, words barely leaving his parched lips, just came by to let you know, that this isn't working for me anymore, I thought I could do this, I could love you, love this white picked fence life. But I don't, I can't it's making me miserable, he said hand running down his face, his give away sign that his not happy. You just stood there, heartbreak and the smell of the freshly baked cherry pie hanging thick in the air, he just turned around and left and you haven't seen him since. Tears burning behind your eyes while taking a sip of your coffee, you cursed yourself, you need to start working on your fifth book, Chuck your publisher is really breathing down your neck. You hear the bells, welcoming someone new, you look up to see who it is. Its Dean, but his hair and beard a lot longer than normal, in all honesty he looks like shit, is he even getting enough sleep, is he eating, still worried about him, you'll probably never stop loving him.

He can sense, her sitting in the corner, he doesn't want to turn and look, knowing how much he hurt her with what he said, thinking about the words he said to her, he didn't love her , he didn't want the whole white picket fence life with kids running around, that can't be further from the damn truth! Waiting for his order of black coffee to be done, replaying the events that happened during the day, that made him decide to break things with her, if only she could know it was to protect her, subconsciously playing with the chain around his neck, on the chain a diamond ring, yes he thinks to himself, he wanted to ask her to make him the happiest man alive that weekend, but then came the envelope, with a bunch of photos of her, stating her routine and then the note...

Candy?

Most - I've always like sour Haribo of all kinds. Also any candy or chocolate bars. Least - The very soft, cotton like gummies (gumdrop?)

Seasons?

Most - Autumn where it's not cold yet, but everything's pretty. Also snowy winter. Least - That very ugly time when autumn is turning into winter and everything is sad.

Hot beverage?

Most - Cocoa or hot chocolate. Least - Green tea.

Cold beverage?

Most - Most sodas and coffee (I drink cold coffee even if it's freezing) Least - Tonic. Blah.

Colours?

Most - Black, blue, green and orange. Least - Pink.

Vegetables?

Most - I will devour any vegetable and I love them with all my heart as long as they are raw. (I'd also say tomatoes, because they are one of the best things ever, but they're technically a fruit. Also potatoes - raw - but they aren't vegetables either. They deserve the honorable mention though) Least - Most if they are cooked/baked/went through any kind of heat treatment. But mostly spinach.

Traditional foods from your country?

Most - Oh wow. We have so many and I love most. But maybe... lángos, chitterling-sausage, kürtőskalács, pig feet stew - okay I have to stop, but I have so many more. I need to put together a list... Least - We have a chitterling that's made with liver. I never liked those. Or stuffed cabbage.

Insects?

Most - Okay, now hear me out. Any insect is instantly my best friend, so I can't just choose one... All the bugs, that's for sure and other than that... I find dragonflies to be quite pretty. Least - These are all context specific, but... I'm seconding Nosho with the midges. Also the small, bitey flies and most gadflies (painful as heck if they bite/sting) that will absolutely devour everything and everyone during the summer.

Cake flavours?

Most - Any fruit, chocolate, coffee and lemon. Least - Anything made with cottage cheese.

Non-gallagher or milkovich shameless characters?

Most - V, maybe Kev. I also liked Sue. Least - Sammi. Caleb. The usual ones. (Also stealing Willow's thought, because as entertaining as Paula was, damn her)

These questions proved how incapable I am of choosing just one "most". But oh well. Keeping it interesting.

eddie wears a lot of red and black, but those aren't his favorite colors

his absolute favorite? green, definitely, like the way sunlight looks when it's filtered through the trees

you make him a bracelet on a lazy summer day, with some of the thread you have lying around

he picks the yellow and green, you choose a light blue and purple

they look pretty together, but your stomach's churning the whole time you weave the threads around each other

what if he's embarrassed to wear it? :(

you're shy, showing him the final product, but he's over the fucking moon

his big eyes watching you while you tie the bracelet around his wrist, chewing at his bottom lip at the way your fingers graze the delicate skin

gonna be honest, i don't think it really matters what colors you use, that bracelet is gonna end up a faded brown-grey color pretty quickly

eddie can definitely move. is it good? probably not.

most of the dancing he does consists of wild flailing and headbanging to his favorite songs

he has to pull over the van sometimes when he's driving so he can really feel whatever he's listening to—play his own little rendition on the air guitar and thrash his head along to the music

he can jump crazy high???? it's actually a little dangerous if he's not paying attention to his surroundings

anything requiring a little more skill is gonna be a big no for eddie

but he'll absolutely make a fool of himself if he thinks it'll make you laugh

slow dancing? he can't get enough of it

there was only one old-as-hell tv in the orphanage, and they got like no channels, but jeopardy was always on

it's the only thing he can still stand now that he's out of there

Since I was thinking yesterday that my hometown's bookshops only stock mainstream shounen & shojo series, I went into town with my sibling this morning to see if the situation was still the same and it pretty much was 🥲 our high street is dying! But I checked out the comic shop/card & table game shop before I went home and they actually mostly had seinen and josei!!! They had a lot more GL and non-fiction manga about LGBTQ+ experiences than I expected. Maybe I don't need to be able to browse hundreds of manga on a dedicated floor, I just needed an opportunity to flip through titles that are totally my sort of thing, which somehow flew under my radar, like this one!!! 🥰

It's set in an unspecified western country and it's a one-volume slice of life manga with tips on working out!! 😍 The male main character feels self conscious about being feeble and has a crush on his gentle and buff neighbour, Ruby. Unfortunately, he's shy and blushes a lot, so he acts cool to hide his feelings 🤭

I loved it! It was expensive but it's a lovely edition, with some colour pages and an embossed title. Sadly, Ruby's abs aren't embossed too. 😂

My sibling saw it and went 'look, abs!' and I was sold 🤣 I spend longer deciding which toothpaste to buy.

Also the shop's manga range had a lot of these books that subvert traditional gender stereotypes - it reminded me of that greentext about the buff girl who defended a nerd at her school and opened his eyes to the beauty of strong, protective women, haha. I'd like to shake that shop's Buyer by the hand!

GIRL HELLO!!! SORRY I WAS ENJOYING MY BIRTHDAY AND YA KNOW BEING SICK TOO 😭😂.

Okay this is gonna be long, I love long asks so lets go... I do love them being all cutesy and lovey dovey. (Girl same, its cringe but these are my babies so I want them happy😂)

The struggle I went thru to find those rings, like it was fun but a lot of thought went into it 😂. Isa's ring being purple, Jay and hers fave colour. Yunjins (maybe my fave? I love them all never mind, I cant pick a fave) the green for both Yunjin & Chan being Slytherin and the rose cause its Yunjins fave flower, just like another thing of how well Chan knows her. Sumins ring, the heart was cute and the red for both her and Min being Gryffindors, like the brave at heart reminder. YNs ring, I really just wanted it to be the most unique and it was the longest to find this ring but Id like to think it was worth it.

The first chapter, I really wanted to jump right into the action so to say 😂. Im happy u think the pacing is good, I was worried it felt too much like there was filler chapters and the story wasnt moving forward. Lol not the my mind is sexy 😂😂😂.

With this story in particular, the side couples are just as important as our main leads. I do so enjoy the different dynamics that these couples have and how that affects our main leads.

Aww I hope the lil boost my stories gave was good....

Ah, I havent thought of someone not knowing HP reading the crossover fics but its good to know that even with minimum knowledge, the stories are still enjoyable.

When I got home from school、I found this at home…✨️

Apparently Mama found it at the supermarket…

But I thought I'd give the carrot leaves to our household idol Anzu-chan、and when I started walking towards her with the leaves…‼️

She came running over to see me😭

And she ate them from me！

I was so happy

I was kinda worried that she wouldn't like them since she hasn't had them in a while？、but I'm glad she enjoyed them❣️

As she kept munching she got closer and closer to my hand、she's an angel👼

She's so cute ♥️

Also normally she's pretty standoffish (which is cute too) but today she sat and wanted fussing from me🥰

Anzu-chan has a yearly molt、when her winter coat grows in。

And it's ended recently！

Anzu-chan's coat is now super soft and fluffy！

Loads of kanzashi were lined up in front of the store。

There were cream soda kanzashi、kanzashi coloured like the sunset、goldfish kanzashi… there were so many！！！

Don't kanzashi make you think of Oda-san！

Oda-san was using a kanzashi in the dressing room the other day、and watching her use it to put her hair up so easily was almost an art to behold

I was like

「Kanzashi are amazing‼️」！

So、when my hair grows long enough to tie back I want to find a cute shop and buy a kanzashi！

My Work Space

One of my friends helped me finally work today so I thought I could show my working space. I'm really proud of how it turned out and since I'm moving out when my semester ends, I thought it helpful to keep a memory of it somewhere.

I know my pictures aren't the most aesthetically pleasing to look at, but I just wanted to keep a record as best as I could.

This is all I make a point of having in my workstation:

My computer and it's accessories. I got one of those mechanical ones that make sounds every time I'm working (bonus points for the colour model being called "chocolate"). Gives me an incentive to type more. I also got a mouse because my laptop's doesn't work very well. And whenever I draw, I can use my drawing tablet instead. Also a microphone because my laptop is absolutely shitting itself going through multiple organ failures and I'm surprised a senior like it still works well. I love my baby 🥰

My Laptop Stand™ by me because I made it out of a cardboard box and decorated it to look pretty. I may have a problem with aesthetics... But! It was essentially free and it does the job well. I also keep notepads, my pencil case, and fidget toys under there.

Pens in a handy spot. Selected to go with the colour scheme because, again, I have a problem. They're all in an old candle cup I filled with fake leaves because recycling is good and I may be a hoarder too but don't quote me on that. I try to keep a variety although I've been mostly using the same orange and gold glitter pens.

Water and drinks in general. I might show a full room tour later but one of the things that made my life 100x easier was having a hot chocolate/ oatmeal station in my room. For those days where it's hard to eat but I still need to take my meds. I just have a nice small portable kettle, some cups, a bowl and spoons that I sometimes have to force myself to wash downstairs because for some reason my brain thinks walking out my bedroom door is not a valid option. Also I like drinking hot chocolate while I work so that's a plus.

Google Speaker. It wakes me up and a̶n̶n̶o̶y̶s̶ ̶m̶e̶ helps me stay on track. I usually just play music in the background and put a video essay playing alongside it so I can feel less bored. I taught it to help me with routines, pomodoro timers, and getting ready to go out and time tracking when I dissociate. Some times are more effective than others but I like to hear the Family Bell jingles. And whenever I get random thoughts, instead of browsing on my phone and getting lost in the scrolling hell, I ask and it sometimes gives me my answer.

Candles. I need candles. It's one of those things that make me feel cozy no matter the weather. And I may have too many I collect so I better use them. My favourite smells are pumpkin spice and apple and very autumnal sweet ones because they remind me of the holiday season. I also tried cake scented but those just make me hungry and craving food I don't have. I have wax melts but restrict myself to only one candle so I make sure to economise their use. Also they make great lights!

Last but not least: Lights! I used to work during the night when quarantine struck and I found my optimal work times were from 4am to 9am. Which meant, coloured lights helped my brain suddenly decide to focus. Too bad I have to stick to a functional routine now. I still try to wake up at least at 6am but it's not the same. Though the sunrise is good enough to watch.

Other things that I add for fun are decorations like vines and leaves. Also practically stuff like a coaster for the hot drinks and a kitchen rag that I use to both elevate my keyboard but also to cover it so it doesn't get any mess when I eat.

Other than that I'm not sure what else. Hopefully future me gets to decorate their own place with knick-knacks and pretty shiny things too. And if you're reading this from that future, know that I'm proud we got this far. We can do it!✨

Like I don't really see anything even small insignificant things that could be changed???? this set isn't anything special but there are a few gifs here that i think came out quite nice (especially since it was a set i made in a rush during e3)

2. sonic 30th anniversary set

ok this set isn't particularly impressive, but it took me sooo long to make that it needs some recognition. i think the colouring is decent on most of the gifs and i'm surprised that the whole set doesn't 'clash' together as badly as i expected it to

3. metroid dread set (some spoilers)

i only posted this set yesterday and it's extremely basic, but it's going on the list because even though i thought the scene was a pain to colour i'm pretty happy with how it turned out (it helps that the scene itself was really cool)

4. battlefield 2042 set

i'm really scraping the bottom of the barrel for good content here 💀 but if nothing else there were a lot of cool moments in this trailer, so the gifs aren't boring even if they are subpar

5. halo infinite 'the weapon' set

probably 50% of my edits are of halo so of course there were going to be two halo sets on this list. again this set isn't going to blow anyone away, but i am pretty pleased with how clean it looks, especially given the stream quality i was working with. and i would die for cortana 2 so 🥺
