I’m already a more unique person here since I’m a walk-in, and go between here and my home pretty freely (Technically it falls under Ultersystem travel since I’m part of a system back home). Bee’s the only other person in here that can travel relatively freely like I can; she doesn’t do it as often though, and can’t go to her home world.

Anyways, today we randomly found out that I can bring people over with me because I ended up coming over with some of my friends from outside of my system. Theres a bit of a story to how it happened, but to put it simply, they were already in my headspace because of dream-sharing things (magic and stuff exists where I’m from), and I ended up bringing them with me when I came over here.

Had no idea that was even possible for us, but hey, I have some friends here now and they’ve had fun even if we were just in school all day. Kel doesn’t wanna go home, hehe

DP X DC WRITING PROMPT #17

(I had this idea when I learned that there are some people who give out their phone numbers for people to give to someone who is harassing them/giving creepy vibes/or just plain not interested.

Btw, if you wanna add a ship between Danny and any of the mentioned captured vigilantes, go right on ahead! If you're not a fan of ships, that's fine too. Later!)

Who You Gonna Call?

After the Anti-Ecto Acts were dismantled and the townwide internet/communications blackout is dismantled, Danny's social media for his alter ego blows up. He won't lie either, he loves the mostly positive attention whereas before he'd only been met with fear and hatred.

It isn't until he makes a post where he jokingly mentions the Fenton patented Anti-Creep Stick™ (yes it actually works on ghosts) that he gets loads of comments on how many wish it would work on human creeps giving unwanted attention (it actually does because it's literally just a baseball bat covered in anti-ghost paint, but meh) or really just have Danny himself scare away the creeps because of the whole "being a ghost" thing. Naturally, this sets off Danny's protection obsession and he decides to do something about it.

With a little help from Technus, Danny learns to manipulate and travel through phone connections and then releases a separate phone number for people to use/give away if they're stuck in an uncomfortable situation.

Here's the funny part tho.

Red Hood somehow uses the number kinda as a joke to, well, sic Phantom on the Joker while him, Nightwing, and Red Robin are tied up for another one of the clown's schemes. It works a little too well though. Turns out the Joker is wanted in the Infinite Realms for continued interference on peaceful relations between said Realms and the Living World, i.e. - terrorism. It's then discovered that Joker is in fact considered liminal by ghost standards and therefore falls under Danny, the Ghost King's, jurisdiction.

So basically, Jason calls Phantom's Anti-Creep number as a joke, Phantom actually shows up via phone connection, and all three of them wind up witnessing firsthand the Joker being dragged into a glowing green, concerningly Pit-like portal, bound in chains + kicking and screaming. Phantom even stops long enough to untie them, shake hands with a shocked Red Hood, thanks him for his help, and then leaves like it never happened.

Now. How the hell are they going to explain this to Batman?

TERRIBLE AT COMMUNICATING. We all know Keith is stubborn and easily overwhelmed with a short temper. He doesn’t really know how to talk to people without getting angry. He feels that bc he has a hard time explaining exactly what he means, people never understand him and that makes him mad.

Bro isn’t scared of anything…and that low key scares everyone else. Like…who isn’t afraid of anything? The whole team has tried sooooo hard to figure out what will get Keith to jump out of his skin and scream like a child but to no avail… Boy just doesn’t flinch, doesn’t care, couldn’t care less about bugs and rodents and clowns and heights or anything like that.

Wears his gloves in the shower sometimes. Like wtf ???

Also bc he is not afraid of anything, boy will protect his friends/family/partner SO HARD. He will verbally AND physically tear someone apart just for looking at you the wrong way. Very protective and caring but in a good way ya know?

Actually very selfless and not self-centered in the slightest. Keith is very giving and helpful, despite his tough exterior, he’s very caring, observant and considerate. He’ll give the shirt off his back to someone in need. He’s always down to help others. Ugh Sweet heart ❤️‍🔥

Red Flags 🚩

Obvi his biggest red flag is how flirty he is. Boy will flirt with anything that breaths and that can get really annoying sometimes and affect the rest of the team.

Jealous AS FUCK. Like the petty jealous type. Lance is the kind of guy to pretend he has a partner back home just bc some alien girl he was flirting with said she had a partner already. He’s like “OH YEAH? Wow cool me too, same same, yeah….” But homie’s ego is a bit sore now…

Lies a lot. Lance just panics sometimes and tells a lie. He knows it’s wrong and he always feels guilty after lying to someone but it always just slips out. His mouth moves faster than his brain most the time.

Green Flags ✅

THE BEST HUGGER/CUDDLER OMFGGGGGG. Lance is the best hugger and cuddle buddy ever, period, end of story, try to change my mind. His long arms always stretch fully around the recipient’s torso and he squeezes tight enough to make you feel warm but not smothered. Usually will rest his chin on the other person’s head if they’re short enough (so Pidge obvi).

Very aware of other’s moods/body language/tone of voice. Everyone thinks Lance is “the dumb one” but he’s actually very in tune with what’s going on in the moment, what’s going on around him. I think he can tell how others feel the second he sees them. Good intuition kinda thing. An empath for sure.

Very considerate and often remembers the little things about people. Does he remember what he learned in class just a couple days ago? Pffft heck no! Does he remember everyone’s birthday, every year and get them a very thoughtful gift? HELL YEAHH I LOVE THIS SWEET BOY OMFG 🩵

Lowkey kinda moody and can get snappy very easily. Pidge is a sweet heart and very smart and a good team player but she’s also stubborn and will yell to get her point across or make herself heard (she’s an Aries…what’d you expect?)

Sometimes very conceited and braggy about how smart she is. Like yeah Pidge, we know you’re a genius and you could code in your sleep. WE GET IT. UR SMART. GEEZ 😒

Pidge is so baby. Yeah, she can get snappy and braggy sometimes but…SHES SO BABY PLZ FORGIVE HER. She’s just young and stressed okay? Give her a break. She’ll apologize eventually with puppy dog eyes and a soft voice and while she looks adorable, she is being sincere and really wants to resolve this.

Very loyal and determined. I mean look how hard she searched and fought for her dad and brother. She won’t stop for anything or anyone once she has her mind set. Pidge Will never leave you behind and will always turn back to help someone in need.

Boy is too scared sometimes. I think Hunk has really bad anxiety and it’s not the anxiety that is the red flag, it’s how he copes with it…which he doesn’t. Hunk let’s his anxiety get the best if him sometimes…but he’s trying.

Interrupts A LOT. In any given conversation, he will interrupt and talk over someone else at least once every minute. Can get really annoying sometimes but in his defense, if he waits too long to speak up, he’ll just totally forget what he was gonna say.

Like Lance, I think Matt would be overly flirty and act like a Fuck boy sometimes. Like bro sit your nerd ass down, that person is SOOO out of your league plz chill.

Can not take anything seriously (unless it comes to his family or his or anyone else’s safety) but day to day, Matt makes so many dumb and inappropriate jokes at the worst times. Ugh 😒

Green Flags ✅

Very brotherly to everyone he considers a friend or family. Protective, constantly checking up on others, making sure they have eaten, asking if they need anything from him. He cares a lot. Bonus points bc he’s a very good brother to his actual sibling too. Aww Pidge and Matt are sibling goals. 🥹

HOT AS FUCK NO MATTER HIS HAIR STYLE/LENGTH. You can fight me on this. Matt is gorg and so is his hair at every single moment throughout the show.

Extremely accepting and open minded. Matt treats everyone he meets equally and never seems phased when he meets others so different from himself. He may ask some questions for the sake of his own curiosity, but would never pass judgment on another person.

Ok everyone saw this coming but this ask ran away from me and I ramble about some song lyrics I associate with Chil & different facets of his life below the cut. Some people find my, ehem, heated rambles about Chil entertaining, this is your cue to get out the popcorn.

When thinking about songs for Chil I have 3 angles I take: About Chilchuck, about him and his wife, or about him & Marcille. Marchil is so engraved into me with their arcs together, that they’re like the concept of closure and letting go and letting yourself live again to me, sorry for all the non-enjoyers… I think currently my top song for him is Jackrabbit by San Fermin, because it combines all three it makes me go wild. It’s about trepidation… Throwing yourself into it even despite the fear (working with traps, survival in poverty where you have to rush & hustle), or just staying there paralyzed(not reaching out to his wife). Flight or freeze!! Saying goodbyes and saying hellos!! Not dying alone!! The life cycle of a wild rabbit living and dying, the baton pass race of life from generation to generation!! Chil and his daughters even!!! Going through life at a frenzied pace!! It is so Chilchuck and so marchil, and the music does give that hurried and scared energy to me too, and sigh the Marcille side to it with fear of death too…

Extra fun context but the other day on the discord server we were talking about what animal each character’s fursona would be as we do and I thought of a rabbit for Chilchuck: Quick footed, ‘cowardly’, small and frail and seen as weak 🙃, athletic and slender, pulls stunts, stressed out, has very fine hearing and has good instincts, etc. And ofc that fits really well with Marcille since she’s kinda associated with dungeon rabbits hehe~ But I think while Marcille’s 100% the cute round rabbit Chil’s more like a brown hare, more wild and like, more like a jackalope if we’re still doing monsters... I do lowkey find it more fun than his associated monster being mimics because he’s crabby, because they’re clever (with where they place themselves) and because of how he has a soft shell but soft insides, lol.

bouta hit you w the polysho fantasy AU that i will try to turn into a fic.

okay so first of all, i would like to let everyone know that i have been listening to classical, or in some way medieval/classical coded songs including Cendrillon, Servant of Evil, and Karakuri Peirrot (clowns) so this shit gonna go hard as fuck and ALSO TSUKASA TENMA

anyways. btw tsukasa's story is kind of based off servant of evil so

tsukasa and saki live together in the castle and are used as a sort of puppet for a shadow gov't. tsukasa believes that he and saki aren't related but saki knows. so the plot is to use saki as a sort of scapegoat to collect more resources from the people and eventually dispose of her when they don't need her by posing a rebellion. tsukasa overhears them plotting this the night before and tries to evacuate saki. he does this (yippee !!!) but the advisors (which are the people coming up w the plot) catch on. they present him as the one who was actually raising all the taxes, clearing saki's name but dirtying his in the process. also he learns they were siblings. in some sort of pirates of the caribean fashion, he escapes the day of his execution. i'm talkin bro JUST avoids that axe and sword fights some people.

so tsukasa gets the hell out of york. and bro has some major trauma at this point yknow. he's trying to hide out and figure out what the hell he's supposed to do next, because he's by all accounts supposed to be dead, and WHERE THE FUCK IS SAKI ??? and. bro accidentally summons mystical being Hatsune Miku. i have this in my mind as he's hiding out in the bushes, and bro is just. so done. he's camping out for the night and he's at like the breaking point. and he goes through the couple of things he still has (which is really not much) and breaks out a little heart shaped locket he has. and it's a picture of him and saki and he's looking at it and it HURTS because he misses her !!! and as soon as he learns that they're siblings ans that's his fucking sister she gets !!! taken away from him !!! and tsukasa just breaks down. just sobs man. and he's curled up and sad and he feels this tap on his shoulder and it's just "this is the end. someone found me i'm going to die." and he's about ready to because everything he lived for has been taken away from him !! and he looks over hsi shoulder and it's not a guard it's Hatsune fucking Miku, who is a god because why wouldn't she be.

n miku like. leaves him w wxs miku like "here's your guardian angel or shit ykyk. anyways gotta blast your god's favorite BYE !!!" and now he sees that along w his little heart locket of saki he now has a star shaped locket and when he opens it he can summon wxs miku. like she's a jojo stand. so he's still traveling and trying to stay undercover and bro kind of looks like shit. but he also knows he needs food because HOO BOY he's hungry. so he does the normal thing and starts going through people's trash bins. and he gets to The House That Probably Gives Out Full Sized Candy Bars (or the fantasy equivalent of that) and starts going through the trash and who walks out to see him but emu ! and she drags him inside and the ootori household is like "why the hell is this dirty stinky man who looks like he just crawled out of hell sitting at our dinner table ???" but they listen to him and he tells them that he's an experienced adventurer [lie] and he's out adventuring [lie]. and so they let him get cleaned up, he realizes his hair has grown out a bit, and they send emu along w him when he leaves. like. he's about to walk out of the door and say his thank yous before emu just starts dragging him along in the silliest way possible.

so emu and tsukasa hit the road !! yippee !! tsukasa's like spending the whole time a lil scared like "WHAT IF SOMEONE FINDS ME" and emu is just havin a good time. it turns out emu is a quirked up wizard girl and sends little letters to her family. and eventually she asks tsukasa about the locket n he shows her miku. yippee !! they also make money by running errands for other people. so they're runnin around the world and tsukasa is still trying to find saki AND stay as far away from people as possible. i'm talkin bro barely talks to the people he's workin w emu does all that shit.

so THEN they find this old ass tower and emu's like "let's sleep here tsukasa :D :D :D" and tsukasa's like "i would rather FUCKING DIE but okay. whatever." so they go in and spring like five different traps at once because those two are talented in being silly. and YOULL NEVER GUESS WHO rui comes out to investigate the two clowns he caught. and he's like "who the hell are you." as any normal person would question.

but of course he cannot resist the sillies and he's like "okay you can stay." and he shows them around and i'm taklin bro has the kookiest room imaginable got that clock hallway gears everywhere n shit you know how it is. and he tells them that he's an alchemist + cool mechanic guy. and emu is just falling in LOVE with his little robots. honestly who wouldn't i think they would be cute

and of course rui, magic man extraordinaire, senses the power of Hatsune Miku comin from the locket and he's like "lemme see that locket" and BAZOINGA !!! HATSUNE MIKU !!!

and while emu didn't know miku bc she was kind of like. a local thing. rui recognizes her IMMEDIATELY it's like if you were idk atheist or smth and Allah just appeared from your friend's neat rock he found. idk man i'm trying to draw a comparison. but the thing is while emu knows that there's some prince who's supposed to be dead from the country over, rui doesn't know that because he's a shut in. so they're both kind of missing information n neither of them can come to the conclusion that tsukasa is wanted for misuse of power tax fraud and tyranny. so rui's trying to figure out miku and emu's just happy she has friends and tsukasa is just havin a good time. they have a little sleepover thing in rui's room because normal.

rui being the first person either of them have really connected with in a while, they all hang out for a while longer have some fun you know. and then nene comes back !!! basically nene is a shapeshifter who usually shapeshifts into shadows because yeah. neato. and she also will go out for a while to make some money by selling rui's stuff. and she hears stuff and at this point word has really gotten around that people are looking for tsukasa !! there's a bounty on bro's head !!!

so she comes inside n only sees rui and he's about to tell her about tsukasa and emu but then she tells him first that theres a dangerous guy running around who is wanted !! and not in the good way !! and rui connects the dots and goes into Thinking Mode. and as soon as nene finishes this who comes into the room but Mr. FUCKING WAR CRIME HIMSELF !!!

so so rui emu and nene are all validly concerned about this and tsukasa's like "okay. listen to this. miku get over her" and tells them all about saki and evil shadow gov and almost dying and how he needs to keep looking for her. and miku clearly knows this but she does it in the silliest way bc tsukasa's over here sobbing his eyes out about his possibly dead sister and she's like "yeah !!! and THEN he almost died !!! isn't that wild !?!?!"

and yknow eventually they come around n clear his name or whatever and do some crazy theatre production. idk man ive been writing this forever eeby deeby yaba daba doo

💜Nothing could beat the phoenix three scene

🍎I just loved the romance, the angst, the pining, the ending for Evajacks. I was surprised to see people who weren't fan of Jacks pov - the way they were one of the best imo.

🍎Jacks was absolute menace in this book😂, I absolutely loved every time he made Apollo nervous even when he wasn't there. Him breaking Apollo nose was💯

🦊I absolutely loved Evangeline in this book, she annoyed me a little at the start of tbona as she was stubborn. But here she proved she has changed and learnt for her mistakes, heck she even had an amazing character development. I loved how confident she was even without her memories, she was strong🔥

🦊I loved when she slapped Apollo 10/10 moment (it reminded of Rosaline slapping Romeo in go away Romeo, great webtoon btw)

🦊🍎I am so glad they got their happily ever after, they way I was worried they wouldn't. Each time I was scared for them, they really deserved it🥺❤️

🤡Apollo, oh god he was such a clown from the start to finish. I actually found his povs interesting tbh, he really lost himself somewhere in the way. I actually had a good laugh when his plans failed, at the same time at times he was kinda psycho and scary. Overall not bad villain essence

🐉Okay but Lala was so cool, she had brief appearance but I loved all the scenes with her. Her and Eva going on a trip to retrieve Jacks heart was fire🔥

🐉Lala and Castor ??? Unexpected but not unwelcome, actually a spin-off of their story would be lit like the tension😳. Also I think Lala's story as the Unwed Bride would be interesting to explore

🐉Which leads me to a question of besties going on trips are need and don't get me wrong partners to lovers or enemies to lovers on a quest are my jam. But we need more bffs going on quests😍

💜Aurora was absolutely evil, now it was shocking to learn she was the reason for Jacks curse, but honestly I didn't mean it. Like she was the ultimate mean girl. I hope we will see more of the Valors.

🍎🤔Now we didn't get the apple lore, although I read somewhere that apples were used to calm Jacks urges, so I guess it makes sense. Perhaps we will learn more in the owlcrate alternative ending

💘The alternative endings were such a gems, a pity there are not part of the main story (btw they can be found in tumblr, the only missing one is from the owlcrate edition)

Overall, it was such a painful beautiful and fun ride. I enjoyed it a lot, I am looking forward to Stephan Garber's next books🥰

tbh one of the issues i have with the whole idea of like censoring ~scawwy~ content for kids or trying to protect them from it, especially as someone who was scared of literally everything as a child, is that kids' fears all tend to be so specific, esoteric, and idiosyncratic that i think in many ways it's EXTREMELY difficult to know what is going to scare a child (not to mention the fact that many of those fears and phobias are ones they will eventually grow out of.)

like........... some of the things i was "scared" of as a child include: a specific scene in the sound of music (that did NOT involve nazis btw), a teddy bear my dad got me that made a weird sound if you turned it upside down, clowns (but not even just clowns in the flesh like for a lot of people. i mean EVEN THE MOST VAGUE REPRESENTATION OF A CLOWN like, for instance, a christmas ornament my parents had or like the illustration on a box of colored straws i saw in the supermarket once) as well as MULTIPLE animated disney movies.

the point i'm trying to make is that life is, more often than not, scary and uncomfortable, and beyond even the unfeasibility of trying to protect a child from all the things that could possibly scare them, i actually think you're doing them a HUGE disservice by not allowing them the chance to work through some of their own fears and anxieties in a supportive environment, since knowing how to deal with these things is necessary for being a fully functional adult.

This is getting a bit long and emotional so i’m gonna put a cut in case you don’t wanna read all of it

tldr: i’m reflecting on my time on tumblr and thanking some people (DW IM NOT QUITTING, I JUST FEEL LIKE BEING NICE TODAY LOL)

i’ve always felt like i could always just be my true self here on tumblr ngl. like, i could be free to just post about whatever interest i had and then i wouldn’t get insulted or bullied for it 😭

i remember being super scared to even start posting about Yuurivoice in the beginning since i thought i would get teased for liking asmr, but i was pleasantly surprised with how kind and accepting everyone was!!

now that all this time has passed, i would like to say that i am really, really glad that i was able to make so many friends here, and i love how we all made such a great community 🫶🫶

i’m doing some individual shout outs now, i’m sorry if you weren’t included here, these are just the people that really made all the difference in my little tumblr journey

AN AKI ENJOYER!! YAY I'm so happy my girl is gettin some lovin she deserves! (Sorry for my inactivity, I needed a short break) cw: emetophobia(fear of throw up) in Aki's

Minato: He's never been to the amusement park. He'd accept, one because it's you and two because he's curious. I think the crowds of people would definitely overwhelm him and he's pretty much clinging to you. He's also so worries about losing you in the crowd, he needs to be touching you at all times. The rides were fun, but he enjoyed watching you have fun more.

Haruto: Your families would take you two to the amusement park all the time. Afterall, where you go, Haruto needs to follow. He really enjoys the nostalgic factor amusement parks have! He's a very nostalgic lover if you couldn't tell LMAO! Despite this, I think there are other places he would prefer to take you out on a date, but of course whatever you want Haruto also wants and its not like he MINDS the amusement park!

Jun: Jun likes amusement parks. Maybe not her go to place for a date, she'd rather do something relaxing yet fun with you and amusement parks are more thrilling. I think her favorite things in amusement parks would be the yummy food like dippin' dots and funnel cake(I'm hungy now) and the water park sections. Overall I think she'd still be happy and excited to go, she just loves being around you!

Hoshi: HOSHI ADORES AMUSEMENT PARKS!! They are his go to place if he wants to have fun! In his route its actually a place he drags you to the most so you can loosen up. He also prefers it when its dark out so he can see all the pretty lights. He just loves everything about amusement parks, the food, the atmosphere, the rides, everything! Anyways, he'll accept it in a heartbeat!

Habiki: Unlike his younger twin, I don't think Habiki would really be that big of a fan. He doesn't enjoy the atmosphere, its too loud and crowded for him, not that stuff like that makes me nervous, he just finds it annoying LOL! He does enjoy the food though and the water parks aren't all that bad either since it's one of the more calming places. He'll accept the date, but I don't think he could handle it for super long. He'll feel bad afterwards if you're upset with him and steal Hoshi's clown costume, trying to cheer you up, except he's awful at it, but that in itself kind of cheers you up cause he looks so dumb.

Kage: Used to be dragged out on the amusement park trips all the time as a kid, and he hated it. They enjoyed seeing you happy though. They still don't really like amusement parks, too many crowds of people and its so loud(The only loud thing he likes is his music) It's a bit better at night though, the lights are kind of soothing to him surprisingly. I think it'll take some convincing for him to go, but he'll go on the conditions that you go sometime later in the day.

Kei: Kei accepts. He doesn't really have any thoughts on the amusement park though. He's not a super huge fan of the atmosphere, unless it's dark out, much like Hoshi he likes the pretty lights and thinks your look stunning with the lights shining on you. He feels more positive about the rides, like he thinks they're mostly okay to fun. He enjoys seeing your reactions to the rides more though. He's REALLY good at winning those prize games, by the end on the night you have as many prizes as you want, he'll makes sure to get every prize in the amusement park if that's what you want(Even if they belong to someone/ hj) The food is pretty good and he loves learning about your favorites, he'll even learn to make them for you. Overall, he's indifferent to amusement parks, he just likes seeing you happy.

Yani: Has never been to an amusement park before. They're REALLY excited to go! Of course going with you only boosts the excitement! Doesn't ACTUALLY get scared of the heights or the idea of a ride malfunctioning, but they'll pretend they are just so they could hold and squeeze you tightly, and you'll give them comfort. Really enjoys the amusement park! The rides were super fun and the food was pretty good, of course going with you to the amusement park for her first time makes it a favorite of hers. Enjoys the games but is REALLY bad at them LMAO, if there's something you want he'll just steal it for you and threatens the person if they try to get it back or something. Will end up getting urges to go to the amusement park at 3am but ofc its closed, but she won't stop bothering you so you always have to promise to go tomorrow. What have you done?

Aki: Also used to go to the amusement park with you and Jun often(Jun used to beg to stay home when he was younger though, despite wanting to see you, Jun really hated amusements parks, they've grown on her significantly). She always really enjoyed the thrill of the rides. Makes it a tradition to always ride the largest rollercoasters. Also always LOVES getting food with you, but you'll either have to wait to eat till after you're done all the rides or you'll have to do something less extreme, Aki is prone to throwing up after eating and then going on a ride. She's also one of those people that pass out on the slingshot, finds it so funny afterwards though.

So I caved and made a The Amazing Digital Circus (by @gooseworx) OC

(before anyone asks yes I took a lot of inspiration from Coraline ok? Ok.)

Anyways meet Jeronimo

Extra/bonus info about her under the cut bc I don't want this post to be too long

Yes her name is taken from Jerboa (the animal I based her off of) and Geronimo

Her nickname is "Momo" tho (bc i HC that some of the others called Kaufmo "Mo" pre abstracted... And since Jeronimo came after Kaufmo everyone just added another "Mo" to her name to not confuse them verbally)

Momo, like I mentioned before, a Jerboa and a hand stitched doll.

... because of the doll obviously she has button eyes (her nose is a button too btw) but her mouth is sewn shut

^ she is mute (but somehow can still magically eat, no one has a single clue how that works btw)

Her eyes (like Ragatha's button eye) does not shut or move, though Momo can see... It's just impossible to tell where and if she's looking at all unless she moves her head to physically look

^ and yes it's also hard to tell if she's asleep or not (Jax has failed trying to prank her multiple times because he thought she was asleep when she wasn't, making her accidentally scare tf outta him lmfao)

She does have painted on eyelashes under her button eyes though for some reason... They're just kinda there 🤷

Her hair (on head and tail) are made out of a fluffy yarn material... Except for the two low "space buns" on either side of her head, those are literally just cotton balls.

Her tail is prehensile (ik actual Jerboas' tails aren't but shhhh)

She walks like she's on stilts due to her legs bending in the opposite direction of everyone else (if you ever seen people walking with those metal and curved stilts that what I mean).

^ full on leaps like an actual Jerboa when running tho (I'll be real she'd probably be one of the fastest running out of the whole squad, bro got a unintentional speed advantage 💀)

She has very little memory of her human life over the years of being there... But actual (not knife related *cough*Caine*cough*) circus acts seem to be like second nature to preform for her.

^ She was a circus performer as a human... How she ended up in the Digital Circus is a mystery though and it's to the point not even Momo knows at this point.

Though she seems to be bilingual... Since hearing Pomni's name for the first time made Jeronimo pause for a minute and silently look at the clown/jester while she couldn't say a word.

I saw your added tags to that post about nuclear testing in Algeria, and honestly I’m just genuinely curious as an Algerian, but what do they actually teach you about Algeria? Like this is genuine curiosity and not trying to stir any pots

You can absolutely skip this ask if ur uncomfortable with it btw! No hard feelings at all, again, it’s all just curiosity

(*Sigh* Yeah not gonna lie I've been debating about answering this. It's not being uncomfortable that scares me Anon, far from it. It's the clowns I'll have to deal with afterward that worries me. But this needs to be said.)

Not much.

But it could be because I didn't grow up in France. I grew up on an old colony of France, Réunion Island. Because our educative system tends to be selective about the subject we have to learn depending of where we live. So it might be part of the reasons I was taught so little about the subject.

For example : I am a french white woman who's been taught at school about the extensive damage of French Slavery. Because it was part of my island's History. But most of my countrymen who grew up in France don't know about it. They just know it happened and that's it. I have to explain to them why it was really fucked up all the time. It's possible quite other french people are more aware of what happened with Algerian War than I am just because of where they lived when they were taught on the subject.

So understand that what I am giving you here is my personal experience and and isn't necessarily representative of everyone's experience when it came to learn about Algerian War. Now this is out of the way, here's how I learned about it. In 2008, which is the year I passed the second part of my Baccalauréat (aka the Bac aka the final boss of exam of public school in France for those who don't know), I learned about Algerian war. Barely.

See the thing is, all our History lessons during the last year before the Bac is about WWI and WWII. We especially study the fuck out of WWII. During the whole year we had to learn extensively about it. And being the main subject of the exam, the teacher made more time to make sure we knew about it than anything else, thus…We went quickly on our lessons about the Algerian war.

I just remember that people were torn about General DeGaulle's actions during that time and that it was a war of independence. We didn't study any of the battles. I think. If we did it probably was mostly dates rather than about the events (and I'll admit this, I'm shit at remembering dates) We didn't learn about the Gerboise Bleue. And that I am sure because this would have stayed in my mind. Why am I so certain I'd remember ? When we were taught about what happened in WWII about Hiroshima, we were taught how it wasn't ok. That dropping a bomb on a country full of civilians was terrible. I am quite certain me and my classmates would have picked up on the HYPOCRISY if we were told about the Gerboise Bleue right after. And that was in 2008. I heard that they're simplifying the lessons more and more to avoid having too many students to repeat years. I am not even sure they're even teaching about it now.

So there you have it. I wasn't told about it. School didn't really talk about it. And my parents and grand-parents didn't talk about it. And my generation isn't going to talk about it to their children because they don't even know about it. And even in my case, I don't know where to look to learn. The sources I've founds on the Gerboise Bleue are...Limited and frankly I don't trust them.

And I have actually thought about what could happen if Penny and/or his friends were to come across some lonely shining child who needed some joy in their life! XD

If a child were to live with them, it would probably start out like this:

Penny would most likely be the one to find the child since he’s the only one who lives part-time on Earth. Said child (whatever age, gender, situation, etc. they may be), would obviously be more aware than other kids since they got the shining powers, and that is what would catch Penny’s attention.

In my AU, Penny is not a child-eater! XD (He still eats people, but only the ones who deserve it lol). So, he really would not ever have eating the child on his mind. He would simply observe the kid for a few years possibly, and try to refrain from helping the child out through hard times. Penny doesn’t usually “help” humans out, so being a sort of guardian Angel to the kid would not have been on his agenda… not at first, at least.

But, over a period of time, he would start to become intrigued by the kid. He would start to “help out” here and there by scaring off some bullies, killing off any intruding creatures who may feed on shining kids, or invisibly make sure they don’t fall when they trip over something.

The kid would start to suspect greater forces at play, and could sense them. Eventually the kid would become sure they were being observed, especially after they would swear they saw a clown’s face staring at them through the sewer drain. The kid would not have been afraid though, and that actually would intrigue Penny even more.

I don’t wanna make this post too long, but let’s just say that Penny eventually decides to talk face-to-face with them and eventually makes good friends with them. Penny almost becomes a parental figure to them, and would probably start to doubt himself a lot. Though, he ultimately would decide to truly “take the kid in,” and that doesn’t mean to live in the cavern under the sewers. It means “to the Dark Tower.”

Penny: “Hey, Bessa! Say, what would y’all say if I kinda just… brought a shinin’ kid here to live with us?”

Bessa: “What’s behind you, Penny?”

Penny: “…”

Bessa: “Penny, what’s behind you?!”

Penny: “… I think you know.”

His friends would obviously need major explanations, and probably wouldn’t be all that willing to take care of a mortal child. Eventually though, they will see that Penny has finally gained some sort of friendship with this kid, and they will eventually warm up to the idea as well.

Soon, they all consider themselves the guardians of the kid. Gan and Bessa would probably be like the parental figures, Maturin would be the soft and kind uncle who has life lessons for days, and Penny would be the chaotic, fun Uncle/older sibling who would let them curse! XD

My dream tonight was fucking insane. I'll just write bullet points.

First off all the baki anime was getting rebooted so this time they'd fucking made Baki a furry. Not as in he was anthro, no, he had to put on a fucking suit (it was a cute big cat :) ) and i was so maaad about this change because the old outfit was iconic enough and this was being made to appeal to a larger audience or something.

Also i think they killed off Jack Hanma or something i was mad about that too

Next thing i remember I was outside, in some hike. I always dream about being outside.

I don't remember shit i did except for the fact when i was tired i decided to lay down in the middle of the fucking field for no reason and i threw a pillow and a blanket and it was a wide thick blanket this magenta color, close to this one,and i laid down i started seeing in the horizon with the clouds all going down one was coming over which very clearly brought rain and i knew rain at night while i sleep on the grassy ground was like a death sentence but i just didn't feel like moving to the house a few blocks by where other people lived because i'd fumbled it pretty hard before.

My death wish wasn't granted however because one woman and some maybe male pal of hers came over. She was blonde and had an eyepatch. I pretended to be fast asleep so she wouldnt try to move me. She didn't, instead, she covered myself with a plastic wrap (head to toe btw i got scared for a second about it but decided to just trust her y'know?)

Lady said i looked cute and retold a story about one time i helped her, something related to her eye prob. I think her name was "one-eyed Jackie" btw. Also, i didnt feel like an adult in this dream, i felt like a kid, put a pin on that.

Now cozy and safe i decided to quote a poem from memory to sleep a poem which does not exist and of which i dont remember enough to write it down but the main theme was about holding on against the unstoppable crushing pressure and this was all illustrated on a comic in a dark pool where the character (fucking PG btw idk how he didnt short circuit also im really normal yes thanks for asking) started floating but then there was no water and he was just gripping the edge to not fall and he never did but the poem ended with the repetition about gripping on. It was a somber one but bc my loving nature i just wanted to save him tm and i kept (no pun intended with that last one) thinking of two people walking across different landscapes like a documentary montage. It was nice.

Unfortunately i was almost ran the fuck over while i was trying to dream in peace.

I jumped to the side and avoided the truck but my devices were there and i told to Jackie "My phone is there :( " and she was like no they retrieved it now stop worrying about that are you ok?!

I think it was then when it fully transformed into a movie, or perhaps the earlier scene with Jackie was, either way, i am now no longer me and im instead L.L.

And for dear life I'd not explain to you what happened in this movie although i think they mentioned Sam Raimi made it? It did have some horror things like uh, a fucking werewolf. Like out of our pals, he was just a werewolf and he'd transform each part whenever he wanted. It was nuts, hilarious too.

There was a big bad and his team too at one point they set our little clown shack (bc it was the size of a letrine yet like 8 people were inside it) on fire.

The ending was nutty too actually papyrus fucking died i just remembered. There was this giant freezing mechanism and he (who btw didnt look like paps he was naked his head was very rectangular and cartoony and bigger than his arms, also he was my height) was like "i'll just wait for them to come back to talk this out! :) and i was like PAPYRUS NO! but then it was too late he was head to toe frozen with a smile still on his face....... tried to whipe the moisture from his face maybe w some heat we'd save him but a girl in my team just was like cmon we need to go so i had to leave him.

And then we faced the big bad who was literally just some guy who kinda looked like uh. Hang on. Well i cant find his name but the guy from bg3 who looks like a fucking clown and people love to hate or something. Except w longer crazier hair. And he did fucking kil my epic werewolf bestie but we managed to get rid of him locking him up Somewhere i guess for him to die.

and then we were all coming back from the intensity of it all and the girl from before is like "you gotta admit, that was the best terrible movie ever" and i didnt dare to say i actually loved it

also i forgot if i mentioned this but this movie had a fandom and fanart and somoene had drawn my wolfy pal (who my brain keeps insisting on calling trevor but im pretty sure that's an unrelated werewolf. Also this guy i remembered his looks, his fur was grey and black but he was pale and blonde w short hair sticking up, like, platinum blonde) like "yeah im a werewolf despite that never being explained ¯\_(ツ)_/¯" which is why when it happened i didnt question it, ironically.

anyway i think i brought up the poem and this is when you take off that pin because now one of my childhood friends from primary school (or a representation of her) started talking about how she wrote a following poem or maybe i was talking about a different one idk but she talked about how it opened doors in her life and she annoyed me so i went to sit somehwere else.

And i remember this scene where someone went to sleep so we were told to be silent and a friend was looking thru my drawings adn they were all things i never drew of characters that dont exist and it had this tangible mischevious energy like we were two kids trying to not laugh annoying each other who might get in trouble.

Then i finally sat down in a corner with a friend, could have been my childhood friend (only one i still talk to who's male) or my platonic partner (eye, if you're reading this, hi! ^_^) and we just started talking about friendship, with him mentioning i'd go talk to the rest in the main table instead of lingering here alone but i conter argued i'd eventually do it, it'd just take me a long time. After all, it did take me quite a bit to get close to him, did it not? this was fine.

I woke up so groggy i wouldnt have been able to tell you my own name if you asked me but that whole thing just felt like, such a peaceful story. So fun ! Sad i couldnt save the wolf but you cant save everyone out there tbh

OMG HI i should be sleeping but this is more fun:

fav food: i cant….choose. being a basic bitch id say like chicken curry and rice bc idk 🧍‍♂️it’s good. but uhhh i love chinese food generally, like oh man. duck pancakes w the cucumbers and sauces and uh, the noodles and the pork and chicken and dumplings and bao buns (i am aware this sounds terrible to others, but i am drooling)

fav drink: ooh oreo milkshake, or if we’re talking standard drink from the shop, specifically fanta fruit twist (it’s also the colour i would dye my hair btw). my go-to is always generally water tho 🤭

fav show: i cant choose…. maybe like friday night dinner, she-ra, and strong girl bong soon

weirdest food i’ve eaten: i really haven’t eaten anything weird. i don’t eat any red meat very often apart from pork, sooo idk. (i’m thinking meat wise here btw) i guess i’d say pig intestines - look it sounds bad, but if you think abt it, lots of people are eating all the other parts of the pig w/o thinking about it. my bro once ate crocodile at a farm once tho which was pretty wild (apparently it tastes like chicken)

most out of character thing ive ever done: see i cant really answer this because i’m just so different in diff situations or w diff people, but i honest to god think that it’s saying i love you to all my online friends. like. id never ever do that in real life. i find it extremely hard to show my emotions, it’s so awkward and uncomfy.

wallpaper: for a moment there i couldn’t decide whether u were asking abt my literal wallpaper or my phone wallpaper…. i’m still unsure… but my lock screen is reg and sirius, and my home screen is the marauders. and if ur asking abt my bedroom, i got lilac walls 🙈

if i could name my brain, what wld i name it: WHAT SORT OF QUESRIONS ARE THESE 😭😭 good lord. id name it the fucking universe. i had this thing when i was younger where i started this universe and kept building characters upon characters until there were hundreds and i knew each of their intricate storylines and id act them out and it was actually bad bc i couldn’t focus on anything else for literal years (there you go, big moons secret - not rlly a secret, i’ve said it before) so yes. there is an entire universe up in my brain probably.

where do you want to travel the most: i wanna go to the south of france + tokyo + venice, but i heard it’s not all that. my fav places that i’ve been to are vietnam and america which r two very different places and i adored them - vietnam more for the food and culture and surroundings, american more bc of family + tourist attractions + theme parks. so. maybe one of those wins.
