PRINTRELEASE !! JANA & JS "PHOTOGRAPH (JS)" We are very happy to announce the release of JANA&JS´s latest stencil print edition for this Friday (18th of November), 4pm (CET) at shop.prettyportal.de. The new release of JANA&JS comes in two versions. Both prints show the couple as photographers, one print shows Jana, the other Js. The artists have portrayed themselves as photographers in numerous famous murals., Photography is an important part of their artistic process. Just like the last editions, we released with the wonderful artist couple, this edition is made with stencils, spray paint, acrylics and ink. All pieces are slightly different and unique. TW: surgery, weight loss, gender dysphoria, eating disorders, ARFID, mentions of anorexia, abuse

I feel so hopeless right now.

My dysphoria, specifically chest dysphoria, is getting worse and worse as days go on and there’s Nothing I can do about it.

I can’t get surgery because I’m half a point above the BMI limit from my insurance, despite the fact that research has shown that the difference in medical concern between a normal BMI patient and a high BMI patient is so minimal that it doesn’t even matter

And I can’t lose weight because I have an eating disorder called ARDIF meaning I can only eat specific foods or else I’ll have severe panic attacks and end up starving myself, and I can’t work out because one of the ways I’ve been abused in the past was through exercise and now any attempt at it makes me have flash backs and panic attacks.

And every single day I get closer and closer to just not eating. If I starve myself I’ll be able to get surgery, right? Clearly the only thing I even can do is starve myself, and my insurance has already shone that they don’t actually care if I’m healthy when they blatantly ignored my heart issues

And I know that I shouldn’t, I know that anorexia isn’t the way and that doing that leads a dangerous path, but I’m so tired and I’m reaching a point where I don’t know how much longer I can keep going like this.

I just want to feel comfortable in my body, is that too much to ask?
