important info for the American cosplayers and drag artists:
‼️As of September 1st, the “order an out of stock Arda wig from the Canadian branch” workaround will no longer be available. ‼️
Arda Wigs Canada is rebranding and while they’ll still ship internationally, they will no longer ship to the United States starting Sept 1.
If you need a wig that’s out of stock from Arda US after this point, and you can’t or don’t want to use another brand, your choices will be to deal with the back order process or to go onto secondhand markets for your wigs. I’ve had the best personal luck finding secondhand wigs and wefts on Lumikha and Depop.

New wigs bc arda wigs canada had a sale as part of them becoming vega theatre supplies :3 one is for yuri petrov from tiger and bunny
and the other im gonna use for robin!stephanie. Its a bit shorter bc i prefer shorter wigs and am more ok with bending accuracy in comics cosplays
and also i think shed look cuter with short hair like that one alt appearance. Too many women in dc with long blond hair tbh

Lucifer is such a fun costume to wear and he was actually at times really fun to make. My favourite part of the whole costume is the hat, followed by the waistcoat.
There's so much fussy hand sewing on Lucifer - all the trim, seam finishings in the trousers, much of the bowtie, finishing on the waistcoat, and the entire hat.

Just realized I never posted these so!!
The left is my Kurisu wig; I'll be cosplaying her for AX this year! It's a Venus silky in auburn from Arda (which is discontinued, but the classic color equivalent is dark copper red). It's also really long, down past my hips, and I love wearing it haha. I have to cut and style the bangs, but that's a project for later.
The right is a new Hiyori wig since my old one is quite worn out after three years of use. I got this during Arda's New Year's sale, and it's a Nina classic in Spanish brown. I still have to straighten it. I also may put together Hiyori's regular high school uniform for AX.
I think part of the reason my old Hiyori wig got so worn out is because I was using a regular hairbrush on it, so I followed Arda's recommendation and ordered a cheap wide-tooth comb. I took these pics after brushing out the wigs with that, then braided them up for storage. Hopefully they'll show more longevity!

So I ordered my wig from Arda two days ago and was woken up to the dogs barking at the FedEx truck this morning. It arrived so quickly I'm actually impressed! I haven't taken the wig out of it's bag yet but already I'm shookth.
I got a sample of some moldable cosplay foam which looks pretty neat. Like I'm just, completely impressed overall for my first ever Arda buy!
