R2D2 among the debris and bodies over Vulcan in Star Trek (2009)
They must have rescued him and made him a crewmember, because here's R2 getting sucked into space when engineering is hit in Star Trek Into Darkness (CG for Star Trek movies was usually done by Industrial Light and Magic, who also did Star Wars, and director JJ Abrams would go on to direct 2 Star Wars movies)
I can't make it out, but Memory Alpha says these two graphics (from TNG "Measure of a Man" and DS9 "A Man Alone") list Alderaan as a planet in the Trek universe
One of these is a Breen from Deep Space Nine. The other is Princess Leia in disguise. I'm not 100% sure which is which I just know Star Wars did it first and someone on DS9 liked the look
Among a half dozen other unauthorised crossovers, Barbara Hambly's novel Ishmael has a "scruffy looking spice smuggler" get into a scuffle on page 13
In David Mack's Vanguard: Precipice, there's a teardrop-shaped ship with a pod on one side described on page 74
I'm also pretty sure a Star Wars planet or two was snuck into the 1980 Star Trek Maps

Lego Monkie King Set Easter Egg
Lego Monkie Kid fans, the Dragon of the East Palace Lego set includes a subtle detail from chapter 14 of Journey to the West. It's a painting of Zhang Liang repeatedly retrieving and placing a shoe on the immortal Huang Shigong's foot. The Dragon King uses this tale to instill perseverance in Monkey.
My thanks to Irwen Wong of the Journey to the West Library blog for pointing out the painting on the Lego set.
Huang Shigong also appears in a Southeast Asian religious trinity associated with Sun Wukong.

headcanon that one of rin's favorite holidays is Easter Sunday! Because back at the monastery since it was a catholic monastery he got to hear his dad give the big Easter sermon and he also got to cook for a crowd for the after service (even though it wasn't like a huge crowd it was still a crowd!) Hes enthused about the buildup i.e lent but he still does it cuz Shiro joked he should "give up cooking for lent" and hes just always done it. Yukio does not tho cuz he doesn't care about Easter. He would still help out and stuff but it just didn't interest him. Rin especially liked the Easter sermon cuz he thought Jesus was cool which Shiro found....very funny (rin okumura Jesus imagery gang where you at?)

Random AO fact: 2 easter eggs I found in AO's latest episode, ToadRage.
1: We see Orange's license plate (with the way he drives, how he got a license in the first place is beyond me).
It implies that Orange lives in "Caulifornia", a clear play-on-words version of California.
According to the wiki, Daneboe lives in California.
2: Orange says he's a Libra, libras are born on the days between September 23 and October 23. The first Annoying Orange video was uploaded on October 11th.

DFF language notes and observations
This was originally just supposed to be a quick look at Non's meds in ep. 8 but then I finished watching the episode and felt compelled to rewatch the entire show 🫠 So might as well collect everything into one post!

Por's mumblings (ep. 2)
กูขอโทษ อย่าเอาคืนกูเลย /guu khaaw thoht. yaa ao kheuun guu loei/ = "I'm sorry. Don't take revenge on me/Don't get back at me."
Time and ages
The present takes place in 2023, the past was three years ago, in 2020. Apart from White, the boys are all the same age according to the character overview below, which makes them all 19-20 years old in the present (while White is 18 and a freshman).
In the past up to ep. 8, they would have been 16-17 years old and in 11th grade (ม. 5/3 -> Matthayom 5, class 3; ม. stands for มัธยม /mat tha yohm/ = secondary school).
Potty mouth Fluke
In the present, I swear every other word out of his mouth is a swear and the subs don't always make it obvious. An example of when he's speaking calmly in ep. 3:

The snippet on the right is another easter egg btw - 'Talking to Pond Krisda, director of "Man Suang", Thai filmmaking [...]' but I can't make out the rest in that box (the snippet above that, too, though some of it I can tell says tourists, free visa, 3 months).

Past injury?
Whoever actually leaked the clip has this pelvis x-ray saved that's labeled to be from that same year, 2563 aka 2020. The two files at the top look to be invoices.
Pronouns
When Phee goes to confront Non about the leaked clip, he's so furious that he switches from their usual เรา /rao/ (= I; informal) + calling each other by name instead of using a 2nd pers. pronoun to calling both Non and Keng มึง /meung/ (= you; impolite) and himself กู /guu/ (= I; impolite).
For reference, กู/มึง /guu, meung/ are the same pronouns the entire friend group use with each other, as male friends in Thai shows often do. Non, as the new addition to the group, is the only one who uses เรา /rao/ + names, and Jin is the only who reciprocally uses these pronouns with him.
Non's meds
Lorazepam -> benzodiazepine; used for treating anxiety disorders, insomnia, seizures etc.

And just for fun: that half-heartedly covered poster behind Tee looks suspiciously like a movie about a young chocolatier that shouldn't be out for another 3 years, according to the time line of this show lol

Concept Art for a Journey to the West Manga retelling I'll be making in the future
So, I'm a massive JTTW nerd, some may say I'm obsessed. (They'd be correct) Recently through things like the many adaptations with a multitude of different levels of accuracy to the book, to reading the book itself, OSP's videos on the subject, Toriyama's passing, and me overall just obsessed with drawing the characters with different designs, I've decided to try and make a JTTW Retelling/Adaptation in the form of a manga with the same name. While things like dialogue and exact scenes won't be the same, but the overall events will be mostly accurate with just a few things added. Some things that will be added is that things like different fighting styles will be added to the characters. For example: Sun Wukong in the og JTTW is trained in Kung Fu, but in this manga, he is still a master of Kung Fu, but he also has some aspects of Jujutsu with things like climbing onto his opponent, as well as him overall having some animalistic features in his fighting style (To see what I mean, watch the fantastically made Legend a Dragon Ball Story animation with their Super Saiyan Goku), as well as Sha Wujing a.k.a. Sandy being more of a brawler due to his size, etc etc.
There will also be plenty of easter eggs to different adaptations such as when Wukong's hair is wet it resembles Goku's sometimes, Wukong making a drawing when they have to cross water with them as pirates, with the pilgrims being dressed like members of the Straw Hat pirates in said drawing, etc etc.
There will be some things that are added from other adaptations, but those will mostly either be for parts of designs of characters or things I just consider interesting. However, while some things will be borrowed from adaptations, people who only know JTTW for the adaptations and not the story may be confused with some choices that will be made for characters like the Six-Eared Macaque and some others. For Example: In the book, Six-Eared Macaque is basically an actor who was trying to act as Wukong, LMK, where most people know him from who haven't read the book, he is Wukong's old friend, but in this manga, it takes the ideas from the book instead and expands them further, Macaque in the og book impersonated Wukong, then fought him, and then killed by Wukong when the Buddha outed him, this manga version depicts Macaque as a stalker who has been watching Wukong from a distance from the beginning over the entire story to that point, with him believing that he should have all that Wukong does due to him being just as powerful (In this anyway, in the book it seems Macaque gained him powers when he shapeshifted into Wukong) and his ears lets him have down-right omniscience, and loves to see Wukong and others that he stalks and impersonates suffer using the things that he learns about them from his stalking, leading to things like him mentally tormenting Wukong about his insecurities and regrets during their fight.
This was originally gonna just be a webcomic, but after time of working on some of the stuff for this, I'm gonna be putting the prologue volume stuff into the monthly Shonen Jump manga contest to hopefully have it be in Jump magazines and on their app/website, but that will have to wait until I physically get it done.
(Note: NONE OF THE CONCEPT ART WILL BE 100% ACCURATE TO THE FINAL PRODUCT, THINGS MAY CHANGE OVER TIME)

ele é convidado para o baile de máscaras de veraneio da corte áltica* e resolve ir para continuar a sua investigação. será que o culpado é um dos convidados?

ele vai com uma máscara de mariposa 🦋 só que, quando ele chega lá, ele topa com uma pessoa que ele não vê há muuuuito tempo... o príncipe Jongin, com uma máscara muito da vagabunda pra alguém tão rico. sehun não iria pedir ajuda ao príncipe, mas já que eles estão ali...
"— Entre o Major, o capitão Jung, o filho do general Byun e a filha do Coronel, quem você acha que teria mais motivos para matar o bispo?"
na capa, o sehun joga xadrez com o assassino desconhecido, o dono da abotoadura de ouro encontrada na cena do crime.

então, qual o seu palpite? (achei que fosse ter mais easter eggs, mas eram só esses mesmo. se serve de consolo, os nomes das cidades na fic sao todos nomes de plantas!! ou quase)
